Kylie Jenner: ‘I just want a lot of property… horses and a farm and a garden’

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

Kylie Jenner did some scantily-clad photos for V Magazine, which I’m not going to post here. I always figured that she would end up doing a Playboy-style photoshoot at some point, but I’ll give her some credit: these Nick Knight photos are artsier than I was expecting. Kylie also chatted with V Magazine about her fame, her wigs and everything else. She comes across as vapid and sad, per usual. You can see the whole V Magazine package here. Some highlights from the interview:

Her wigs: Each one, crafted together with her hairstylist Tokyo Stylez, she says, “gives me a different confidence.” And since she first glommed onto the idea that she didn’t have to bleach her hair every time she wanted to switch up her look, wigs have flown off the shelves and into the hands of her legion of followers… Jenner’s influence has doubtlessly shifted tons of hair, reinvigorating the bespoke wig and weave industry. “All I know is that when I go into weave stores, they have colors that I’ve worn, which is cool…Back then, I dyed my hair blue and teal and other colors. I would do meet and greets and every other girl—even guys—had teal hair. They’d be like, ‘I did this because of you! Everyone has teal hair now!’”

She’s always being recorded: “I do have a guy that follows me all the time. I just never show anyone the footage. Maybe one day.”

The songs she features on her Snapchats often become hits: “Other artists shout me out that I’ve never met before, like, ‘I owe this to Kylie for putting this on her Snapchat.’ And meeting new artists in person and them saying, ‘This was a big help from you, you playing my song’—it’s just really cool.”

She got her “Sanity” tattoo when she was 18: “There was a time when I got [that tattoo] that I felt a little bit like I was going insane. Or, I was going to. I thought about it for a while. I just like the word ‘Sanity’—just stay sane through it all. A lot of young stars who grow up in the spotlight have a really hard time. I didn’t want that to be me. I needed it at the time.”

The idea of retirement: Though she’s spoken about it before, she hasn’t given retirement any serious thought, but it’s “not necessarily just a farm and a garden” that she wants. “I just want a lot of property. That seems like the best life ever: horses and a farm and a garden.”

The normal life: “It would be a good feeling to just live a normal life for a second. I don’t know what it’s like to not be in the spotlight. That’s normal to me. There’s nothing you can do about it. There are so many great things about life, I’m just trying to focus on that.”

[From V Magazine]

The idea that Kylie Jenner has a Beyonce-style vault full of footage from her 24-7 documentary style is… depressing. I think that’s what she’s saying too – that she’s been followed around by cameras most of her life, so she’s at the point now where she’s just hired someone to document her every move and she keeps the footage? As for the wigs and weaves… it pains me to think that girls are dyeing their hair because of Kylie. The Manic Panic phase of tweendom and teendom is a real thing and I’m fine with it – if you want to have pink hair, purple hair, teal hair, do it when you’re young and have fun. But please don’t dye your hair because Kylie did it.

It’s funny because my kids are the only generation that consistently will have a lot of footage of them. Not mine particularly because I do find that images thwart memory (my memories are definitely influenced by the pictures I have of my childhood) so I do wonder what impact this is gonna have on them?
More importantly, on us. I do research and this era is a DREAM for that: everything is digitalized and archived on a digitally organised platform. But to have everyday life documented is going to be strange.
Perhaps it will show how basic we all are that there is no need to worship anyone?
    Hopefully, hopefully.

I personally don`t think any of that family could stand a life outside the spotlight.
    just my humble opinion

    • Pandy says:

Agree. If a camera isn’t clicking, can a Karda$hian exist? The new “if a tree falls in a forest”.

  3. Peeking in says:

Her breasts are very well done. That’s all I’ve got.

  4. Beth says:

I’d like a lot of property and everything I ever wanted, but my sister didn’t make a sex video

While I know the reasons I don’t care for a Taylor Swift, it’s more difficult with Kylie. I used to think she was crazy like a fox, now I think she’s just “special.” I won’t weep for her as she lives the good life, this is the life she was born into….but, she does have special needs that were swept over or swept under the rug. Both of her parents are more interested in their own agendas, and perhaps the mother has an interest in building her wealth, but has forgotten her soul. This family has garnered much wealth and fame, but I still see Kylie, Khloe and Rob as almost tragic victims of their circumstances.

She could have had another life any second she chose to do so. Drop out of the limelight, get a degree and start working. It’s not that hard. She just doesn’t want to do the work.

      • Nancy says:

That will all happen the second the show is off the air. Without her exposure on the show, she will have to depend upon social media where she gets as much hate as love. She will eventually fall into obscurity where she probably will fit right in.

I could not imagine being filmed 24/7, I would go crazy

  7. Ayra. says:

At first, I felt bad for her.. and in a way I still kind of do. She had no choice because she was young. But she has a choice now.

She’s accumulated enough money to leave the spotlight and never have to look back and lift a finger. She just refuses to.
So at this point, she craves fame. She enjoys it, she enjoys the lifestyle and all, she admitted she posts so much for attention.
Kylie needs to get away from her soul sucking family.

  8. Elisa the I. says:

she reminds me of Courtney Love in the V magazine pictures.
I know I’m in the minority here but she looks great in the pic with the black top.

    • Anners says:

Nah, you’re not alone. I think she looks beautiful. It kills me to say it, because I know how manufactured she is, but if I didn’t know that about her I’d think she’s objectively lovely. (hides head in shame)

    • Louisa says:

She does look like Courtney Love as a blonde… On her profile picture too. I guess people who get so much work done tend to end up looking strangely similar…

  9. Laur says:

I think PMK has a say over any “retirement” and it would never be as easy for Kylie to just decide to jack it all in when she wants to. She still sounds vapid (no surprise) and still so unhappy deep down. Regardless of what she does to her exterior she still comes across as the same unhappy girl forced into the limelight and ‘forced’ to change her appearance (perhaps not literally but you know what I mean).

  10. Lynnie says:

This girl really did not say she was the main influencer of color hair 😑😑😑.

URBAN AND “GHETTO” GIRLS HAVE BEEN DOING IT WAY BEFORE AND BETTER THAN YOU EVER WILL 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Also is it just me or does every shoot she does seems like they just riff off the plastic sex Barbie look from the mag before? Like we get it???

  11. serena says:

Sorry but I don’t really see the ‘artisy’ in the photos.. she’s a terrible model (and blonde doesn’t suit her).

  12. Eveil says:

    Right…
