Tomi Lahren is a lot like Ivanka Trump, Sarah Palin and Fox News blondes – she speaks like a malfunctioning fem-bot and she’s one of many useful idiots employed to distract from the sinster and nefarious Republican agenda. The last time we talked about Tomi, she was getting her ass fired from an ultra-conservative media outlet because she dared to express one not-so-conservative thought one time. It seemed like petty justice. Oh, she also hates Obamacare… for everybody else. She, on the other hand, is still on her parents’ health insurance (a key provision of Obamacare).
Anyway, Tomi is still around and she’s trying to put her wingnut stink on Halloween. She posted this Instagram (above) over the weekend and you can see all of her dumb hashtags. She’s an idiot. She’s also disrespecting the flag. From the rules and regulations governing military flag code:
The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.
No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.
Granted, many people “violate” these codes and many other flag codes. But that’s not the point. The point is that if you’re a f–king Republican Barbie who wants to play a game of Holier Than Thou about patriotism, you better have all of your ducks in a row. Also: I kept seeing that IG of Tomi and thinking she was Kesha. Kesha should dress up as Tomi Lahren now.

It’s been a year and it’s Halloween costume. What is she? Some infection? Flesh eatting bacteria? Death of freedom? I don’t get it…
As problematic as Taylor Swift can be, some people can be overly harsh on her. She is absolutely not a Republican Barbie or a replica of Tomi Lahren. She definitely uses white privilege to her advantage, but not in any way different from a lot of other white entertainers. A lot of people have issues with her for not being political, but I do not equate her refusal to be political with being a conservative. I’m fairly certain if she were that she would not be friends with certain people who openly express their dislike of right wingers.

There’s no hypocrisy. The flag code doesn’t include patriotic flag PRINTS. It only includes the flag itself.
Do Olympians actually wear the flag? They usually wear some combo of red, white and blue but don’t use the actual flag as an outfit. They wear flag patches, which I think is ok.
Exactly! I think the flag code is pretty silly and rarely give it a second thought, but I did have to learn it at one point and knew right off the bat this was against it. So, if it was your average person who hadn’t founded a “career” SO patriotic and SO against taking a knee, I wouldn’t bat an eye. But that’s not the case here. Know your flag code if you’re gonna talk sh!t honey. Honestly, even if she were liberal I’m not sure I could stand her.
