Donald Trump’s tweet-storm about Sinclair Broadcasting is nonsensical

I wish we could go one day without everything being awful and catastrophic and a flaming pile of garbage. But we can’t. Even on Easter, Donald Trump got up bright and early to tweet sh-t about immigrants, because EASTER. There are a million new political stories, but let’s focus for a moment on Trump’s war with the media. Over the holiday weekend, Deadspin published this video compilation of Sinclair Broadcasting affiliates – aka your local news stations – repeating the same script about “fake news.” This is Orwellian.

Sinclair Broadcasting has long been problematic AF and has long been skewing to right-wing politics. My local affiliate ran an interview with a neo-Nazi and they failed to present him as such, and instead tried to pass off the interview as “just another Trump supporter with some interesting opinions.” Well, here are Trump’s tweets about the de facto state-run media which is carrying water for neo-Nazis and Deplorables:

These tweets were buried within a mountain of tweets about DACA, immigrants and Jeff Bezos (who owns Amazon and the Washington Post). The point of this is… f–k, I don’t know. The point is that it’s not enough for Deplorables that their local news affiliates are clicking their heels in lockstep to the neo-Nazi contingent of Trump’s Deplorable base. The point is that when other people point out that fact, the Orange Fuhrer loses his f–king mind about it.

As for Trump’s “war” with Jeff Bezos – the stock market plummeted yesterday and Trump is playing childish games, trying to f–k with Bezos, one of the richest men in the world. Oh, and Trump extended an invitation to Vladimir Putin to come visit Washington. Meanwhile, Bob Mueller keeps plugging away. Please, Mr. Mueller, can we get some big indictments this week?

Update: I screwed up the Jeffs, it’s fixed now, sorry.

The caravan is coming! The caravan is coming!

Trump accused Obama of cheating this morning. Yes, in the history of the US, there have probably only been about 5 presidents, and I’m being generous, who didn’t cheat on their wives, and I believe Barack Obama was one of those five.

And the caravan is coming! We’re being invaded! By Honduras!

ETA and those kids at the Easter Egg Roll look miserable.

    • Rapunzel says:

LP- I don’t think he meant marital cheating. I think he meant cheating at polls? That’s what he was discussing in the tweet. But who knows how that nutcase’s mind works?

      • lightpurple says:

Which is just as ludicrous because how could Obama control Rasmussen? But hey, the caravan is coming! Trump is completely unhinged today.

    • Indiana Joanna says:

Evil drump is obssessed with President Obama. His every motivation is to prove he’s at least as good as 44.

At this point drump looks like he actually hates himself more than anyone else.

      • Elkie says:

His every motivation is to prove he’s as good as President Obama.

His every action, however, makes his predecessor look like Einstein, Mother Teresa, Lincoln & Cicero combined in comparison.

Because Trump is the kind of sundowning, mouth-drooling, pants-soiling imbecile who claims that immigrants are coming because of an executive order (DACA) that doesn’t actually apply to anyone who hasn’t lived in the US for a decade…

      • Tiffany :) says:

I saw a meme that suggested we tell Trump that Obama invented the AR-15, so then he’d ban them. I’m not sure it’s that far off from reality, honestly. He’s so petty, reactionary and predictable.

    • Nicole says:

Alternate title: everything he does is nonsensical. I also love that he turns simple gatherings of kids into a political rally a la Hitler’s youth.
I loathe Bezos because amazon does not pay its workers a living wage and it’s a billion dollar company. But waging war on a company because you don’t like them is illegal. FFS
My friend and I have placed our bets on when WWIII starts. I have 5 years or less. She has 8.

      • Snowflake says:

Idk about that. Amazon has opened up a couple of location’s here in Jacksonville FL. My friend was talking about how much they are paying. I don’t remember the exact dollar amount but I was shocked at how high it is. Its still early, I’ll text him in awhile and post what he tells me.

      • Esmom says:

Yes, Snowflake, I saw an ad for local Amazon warehouse jobs and they paid considerably more than I make per hour as a preschool teacher. Depressing af.

      • H says:

@Snowflake I have a friend from HS, her daughter worked at the FL warehouse. She made $12.00 an hour to start, which for FL is good. It’s close to what I make as a tutor and I have a Masters degree.

      • Snowflake says:

My friend just texted me that they are making 21 an hour. If he’s right, that’s crazy. He says his source is someone who works in the warehouse, driving a forklift. Maybe its 12 if you work another area. Yeah FL is so low paying

      • Nicole says:

Okay I think the links were not allowed but there’s been numerous stories of workers at huge companies like Disney and Amazon also get govt assistance. Amazon gets a TON of tax breaks so there’s an issue there.

      • Lorelei says:

I am still agape that no one has stopped this yet. Truly. He becomes more and more unhinged and everyone just shrugs like it’s business as usual.

There is MORE than enough evidence that he is mentally unstable and completely unfit for office. I literally *cannot* believe this just goes on day after day, month after month.

There are very special places in hell for the GOP members allowing this sh!tshow to continue.

**not sure how this ended up in the Amazon thread; I mean it as just in general

      • jetlagged says:

@Lorelei – Of course he’s gone off the Twitter rails – it’s the first real work day since Hope Hicks left the White House. There is probably no one left who will even attempt to moderate his behavior.

      • jwoolman says:

Nicole — Wow. People are actually expecting the start of WWIII to take that long? I would peg it at months at best, possibly weeks.

Trump might be holding off on flattening North Korea again (yes, the US did it before and the Koreans have longer memories than we do) until his alleged summit meeting with Kim. If that meeting ever happens, hope Xi from China and Moon from South Korea are there to be the adults in the room.
Donald actually seems to like Xi, so I’m hoping Xi will be able to 1) restrain Trump from doing or saying something incredibly stupid and 2) restrain Kim from reacting when Trump inevitably does or says something incredibly stupid. I do think Xi talked honestly with Kim on his recent China visit about what an ignorant impulsive toddler Trump is and so Kim needs to be patient with the dotard. Wait a few minutes and Donald will reverse himself again.

      • jwoolman says:

Nicole – people working at small local companies are also on government assistance more than many people realize. Local and small does not mean they are any better than the big ones as far as fair labor practices are concerned. The big ones get more scrutiny from more people in more places and so it might actually be easier to push them toward decent wages and labor practices. This includes better working conditions — working in an Amazon warehouse is typically a difficult and intense job. But that can be true for locally owned workplaces as well.

My brother worked at a cafeteria where practically all the workers who had families were on food stamps. Also no health insurance. Finally a union came in and they got health insurance at least, but they were still underpaid. This was not a chain, the owner was local and had his office there and so they all knew him and his family.

I had to go to mailorder for basic needs many years ago because I couldn’t get around to the stores (no car, some other problems) and the local stores stopped delivering. Also some of them had really obnoxious people on their staff. One print shop (before copy machines were available) was locally owned but also the owners/staff were not only totally incompetent but also impossibly rude and obnoxious. They would make serious mistakes on every order and had to always redo it (like pulling teeth to get them to do so). They lost business big time when a chain copy service arrived in town, and they deserved it.

So Amazon definitely fulfills a real need that is not being met by local businesses in my town at least. The locals made really stupid decisions. They should have expanded delivery services (in my childhood, all the stores delivered, nobody needed to use a car. they would shop and the store would deliver everything) and also used the net asap to make it easy for people to order from them online 24/7.

Amazon also allows me to see and order items from small manufacturers and vendors that I otherwise would never have heard of. I can also see reviews for such vendors and their products right away. It really has a lot of potential to encourage small businesses and let them sell to a much bigger audience without dealing with bigger problems. Popular items can even be stored in Amazon warehouses (“fulfilled by Amazon” but sold by X) so even shipping hassles are avoided.

One of my friends since middle school was at the Easter Egg Roll at the White House. When I mentioned that her kids are both in college, how did you get an invite, she bit my head off. Until then, I didn’t know she was a Trump supporter as growing up her family was always Democratic. I unfollowed her, her sister and brothers (all 45 supporters). Apparently, I need to pay more attention and not do my once a month, who had a birthday check-in, on FB. I can’t believe she drank the Kool-Aid.

      • Betsy says:

I figured that far fewer DC-area parents would have signed up for the egg roll lottery. I never did when I lived there under Obama, which was just poor planning and pessimism on my part, but I never ever would have signed up under this trash.

Sorry to hear your friend went insane.

      • Kitten says:

Sigh. Another Trump zombie infected by Cult 45. So sad.

      • ME says:

Sadly I think that these people were horrible on the inside for years & Trump has made it “acceptable” for them to wave their horribleness around.

I have a close friend of 25+ years that voted for Trump & I stopped all interactions because ultimately supporting this man is supporting his incredibly harmful agenda. And just because it may not be harmful to them doesn’t negate how harmful it is to millions of Americans and to our very democracy.

      • Lorelei says:

I deleted my fb account a while ago, but last year I was subjected to photos from a “friend” who works on the Hill and was there with her kids. Posing with Ryan, Conway, etc. and talking about how wonderful it all was. It was nauseating.

      • Lorelei says:

@Kitten: I think you’re another podcast freak like me? 🙂 Have you heard of one called “Mueller, She Wrote?” I haven’t listened yet but heard it is very good and breaks down the Russia stuff well.

      • flan says:

Your friend sounds like she is foaming at the mouth.

Good for you for unfollowing the lot of them.

    • whatWHAT? says:

“those kids at the Easter Egg Roll look miserable.”

first thing I noticed about the pic. what a change from how O interacted with kids.

    • Anastasia says:

I think Obama and Carter were two of the very few US presidents who didn’t cheat on their spouses.

      • Lightpurple says:

They’re definitely the only ones in the past half century, probably longer depending on Truman. Bush I, Eisenhower, & FDR both had mistresses. Bush II admitted that his marriage was troubled in the early years before he stopped drinking.

      • noway says:

You left out Reagan. Pretty sure he didn’t cheat on Nancy, but he did definitely cheat on Jane his first wife. George W. other than his early adult life was a pretty devoted husband. Honestly, other than Clinton, and even his escapades seemed a bit better, I’d take anyone over Trump. Plus Trump’s personal life, which is a shambles, is the least of my worries with him.

I’m not sure what the American public was thinking when Trump won. Cause no matter how you lean we had 16 years of not talking daily about sex capades, and you had two men whose personal life wasn’t tabloid fodder. If anything this is worse than the Lewinsky scandal, and I can’t believe people didn’t see this coming or cared. I miss Obama most, cause I agreed politically with him. However, I could live with a different point of view politically if they weren’t totally insane.

    • Tara says:

The little blonde girl is looking at him deeply suspiciously – we feel you kid ! Don’t get too close to the orange monster!

  2. Rapunzel says:

He wants state run media. He’s also attacking NBC. It’s disgusting and Orwellian, and frightening.

All because stupid a-holes want their guns and hate Mexicans, Muslims, and Black people.

    • Lozface says:

OMG I am currently visiting the US from Aus and am in shock. At the moment we are in Dallas visiting an Aussie friend and even the souvenirs are about guns. I’m horrified. The racism is disgusting and I’ve struggled to keep my mouth shut.

On the upside we met a gorgeous family from Milwaukee at the basketball in LA, and they apologised for Trump. I loved having a good convo with some lovely progressive Americans.

The gap between the haves & the have nots is so wide and it seems like no one cares. It breaks my heart.

  3. Stephanie says:

    It’s Jeff Bezos, not Zucker

    • Belle Epoch says:

What does Trump mean by “Little Jeff Zuker (sic)”? Has he forgotten the name of Jeff Bezos? Isn’t that a little weird?

      • B n A fn says:

He had forgotten the name of the “White House”, yesterday. He ended up calling it tippy top house or something like that. The man is off his rocker. I just can’t anymore.

      • B n A fn says:

Anyone noticed that the Dotard has gained weight. I guess that doctor put him on three scoops plus a slice of chocolate cake and received a promotion for his great diagnosis, 😂.

      • Lorelei says:

@BNA: did you see Melania’s face during that? She is not the sharpest tool in the shed and even she had a look of “are you kidding me?” when he was struggling to describe the WH.

    • Kaiser says:

I fixed it, sorry. Trump was tweeting about both and I got them mixed up.

    • lightpurple says:

Trump is attacking Jeff Zucker of CNN this morning but has spelled it wrong. Zuker.

    • Holly hobby says:

Jeff zucker is in charge of cnn. I think that’s the reference there. Melania’s Expression? What about the Easter bunny’s? His wtf frozen expression is priceless. Kudos to the government bee who bought that costume!

  4. Amy says:

That little blonde girl’s side eye to Mango Mussolini in the last picture is exactly how I feel.

  5. B2C says:

It’s Bezos, not Zucker at Amazon

  6. PoodleMama says:

Doesn’t Jeff Bezos own amazon/wash po? Who is Jeff Zucker?

  7. Shannon says:

This is extremely dangerous to my calm state of mind up here in Canada. However, to be truthful, prior to our last election ALL of our National Newspapers published front page support of Stephen Harper. The entire Country voted for the other guy, Justin Trudeau. Stephen Harper by the way, Conservative … Republican values. How are individuals ALLOWED to purchase media outlets and use them to further their own agenda? When did this happen to our Countries???? Unbelievable. It’s like a horrifying fiction novel you would read in High School.

  8. badrockandroll says:

I think that unravelling unravelling Don’s Tweets is like unravelling the Gordian Knot.
That being said, there are two Jeffs that are currently driving Trump more mad than his usual crazy. Jeff Zucker (not Zuker, Trump can’t spell) is the current head of CNN, but once upon a time he was a honcho at NBC Entertainment, and gave the go ahead to The Apprentice. I’m sure there’s lots of history there!
The other Jeff is Bezos, who owns The Washington Post, which Trump insists is Fake News. I don’t think so, but it is anti-Trump. He also owns Amazon, which Trump has lambasted for exploiting US Post and not paying fair taxes. Trump has bragged in the past that not paying taxes makes him smart, but it’s different here, perhaps because Bezos is way richer than Trump. wait until he figures out that Bezos also owns Whole Foods and sells vegetables, not steak and ketchup. It will really hit the fan then!
I guess there are three Jeffs who bug Trump … stay tuned for the Sessions sessions!

    • Lorelei says:

Haven’t we heard that NBC is sitting on A LOT of damaging footage of him, from the Apprentice but that ended up on the cutting room floor? So let him piss Zucker off as much as he wants and maybe we’ll start to see some of it leak.

I can’t remember if it’s NBC or Mark Burnett that owns it? But I’m sure NBC has it in a vault somewhere…?

Although honestly, his supporters would just explain it away. Even the part where he allegedly used the N word. I need to remember these people voted for him AFTER the Access Hollywood tape came out.

      Weeps.

      • jetlagged says:

Knowing what I do about Mark Burnett I’m guessing he is firmly in Trump’s corner, and won’t do anything that may damage him. And even if he did, you’re right – his supporters just don’t care.

      • magnoliarose says:

They are hopeless and better left forgotten. Seriously they aren’t important to the future. Fragile babies who are used to everything going their way and want to scapegoat others for their failures.

  9. Eric says:

    Tin-pot dictator gonna Dick.

Apparently, Mueller has van der Zwann dead to rights and I’ve heard vdZ has quite a story to tell, info no one else on earth, except Mueller, knows. Well, plus the actual criminals. Mueller has fingers in Jared’s pie with UAE/Saudi blockage on Qatar because Qatar wouldn’t invest, via dad Charles Kushner–himself a criminal–in 666 5th Ave. plus Mueller is looking into Erik Prince’s role in the Seychelles/Kremlin back channel arrangement. And don’t forget about Roger Stone–where you been, boy?–admitting to having discussions/dinner with Julian Assange and the WikiLeaks fiasco. And did you all see the massively redacted letter from Rod Rosenstein? Dang Mueller is a spry fella who just keeps doing more and more. Must be a Marine thing. Almost like he doesn’t have the fatigue that the Orange Roughy Cadet Bone Spurs has. Sad. Bigly sad.

Hence the distracting tweets from Emperor Zero.

    Ignore Pol Pot-Belly.

Focus on the prize and Mr Mueller’s movements.

    • Betsy says:

Everyday more enormous Mueller news quietly breaks and it just never seems to get any traction among people. But perhaps Mueller is encouraging quieter placement so as not to rile the Dotard.

    • Tiffany :) says:

Thank you for summarizing the most important developments!

I saw that Van der Zwann was just sentenced to…..30 days. He must have given something up to get such a reduced sentence! It says he doesn’t have an ongoing cooperation agreement, but I am guessing he’d no longer be useful with former contacts because of the guilty plea.

      https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/03/politics/alex-van-der-zwaan-sentencing/index.html

    • jwoolman says:

Eric – I would love to see that other Eric (Eric Prince) in an orange jumpsuit. In his testimony to Congress, he obviously had no fear of perjury charges and not only lied with wild abandon, he didn’t even bother to keep his stories consistent. He’s counting on a Trump pardon.

Really bad dude, the history of his Blackwater was awful. He must have had very strong connections with the Bush 2 Administration because Blackwater was even hired after Katrina for New Orleans. Some people in Saudi Arabia have said that the old Blackwater people were involved in torturing those folks sequestered in a hotel after Kushner’s slumber party with the Saudi crown prince, after mass arrests of the Saudi prince’s competitors.

  10. grabbyhands says:

State run media is upon us and the supporters of this draft dodging goon are lauding the bravery of their “patriot” for calling out fake news.

We are such an embarrassment as a nation.

    • Esmom says:

Agreed. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

      • Lorelei says:

        Same.

It makes me feel better, though, when commenters outside of the US on here say that they know most of us did not vote for him and are horrified. That’s obviously just a small group but it means there must be a lot more people who understand that too.

        So mortifying.

  11. RBC says:

45 has probably got word that Mueller is about to drop another bombshell in his Russian probe involving either Don Jr or Jared Kushner.
Or another woman who was involved with 45 is planning to come forward. But this time her allegations will be more damaging.
He is trying to distract the public with his “ fake news” statements and focus on Amazon and immigrant issue

  12. noway says:

I think you need to just copy the headline, Donald Trump’s ___________ is non sensical. Bet you could use it every day for a long time, perhaps his whole Presidency, however long and preferably short it may be.

  13. Rapunzel says:

Someone on twitter, can’t remember who, said Trump is pushing border laws cause he,knows the wall ain’t happening. I suspect that’s true. But the way he insults our immigration laws… Any other president would’ve been torn apart. How our country has fallen…

  14. Veronica says:

A war between Donald Trump and Jeff Bezos is preferable to anything involving nuclear arms, yet both of them are people I’d gladly watch obliterated from the Earth. That’s a tough one.

  15. Q T Hush says:

Thank you once again Eric for your post. I wonder if my insurance plan would pay you for the psychologically calming effect you your writing has on me? Keep up the good work👍

  16. adastraperaspera says:

The Trumpkins are desperate to make the investigation into their crimes go away, but they can’t. I saw the movie “The Death of Stalin” yesterday, and it perfectly satirizes the inside life of an authoritarian regime. I’m sure it’s the same house of horrors inside the White House right now!

  17. OriginalLala says:

That photo of him sitting among all the (very) white kids is disturbing. He truly terrifies me.

  18. Lightpurple says:

“Bourne!” He says Amazon’s mailing costs are being bourne by the American taxpayers. The tweet has been up for over an hour

    • Lorelei says:

“Bourne” is right up there with “tapp” 🙄

    • jwoolman says:

For an alleged businessman, Teump doesn’t seem to understand anything about business.

The package delivery service is the very profitable part of the US Postal Service. They provide it for the final leg of the journey for several other delivery surfaces as well as for Amazon. Working with Amazon is making them money, not costing the taxpayers.

This allows them to keep delivering the much smaller volume of letters today and also has allowed them to scrap the previously planned weekday-only pickup/delivery schedule. Not only are they keeping Saturday home delivery as a result, they also are offering a Sunday delivery.

Trump better hope Amazon doesn’t drop the US Postal Service because of his idiot tweets.

Oh, and Amazon has been collecting sales tax in all states (whether or not they have a physical presence there) for quite a while. President Tweeter’s Fox News source must be years out of date. Some third-party vendors on the site don’t collect sales tax, but Amazon does on anything it sells or ships for a third-party seller.

  19. Escaped Convent says:

I saw a clip of the Creature standing next to the Easter Bunny, and trying to express his admiration for “this house….this building….whatever you want to call it….it doesn’t really have a name, but….”

You mean the White House? I think he meant the White House. Of course, it is very puzzling what to call the White House, if you’re the president, and have lived in America all your life, and can identify the house which is in fact, ~•white•~….

Even the Easter Bunny looked at him, as if to say “WTF#$% ing f*ck?”

    • Lightpurple says:

The Easter Bunny’s open mouth seemed to be frozen in horror throughout. Yes, such a shame we haven’t come up with a name for that giant white house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I suggest we call it Housey McHouseface. It took six times of retyping “white” and “house” and adding an extra space between them before my phone stopped capitalizing them.

  20. savu says:

I’m a local news anchor, and many of us in a FB group have crafted an ad-hoc “response” to all this. We’re currently trying to get it published. It basically says we don’t think this is right either, Sinclair employees are afraid of losing their jobs if they speak up, and in this business quitting means paying thousands of dollars to break contract and you have to move since we have non-competes. So stay tuned! And don’t blame the messenger – my colleagues at Sinclair stations are powerless against this.

  21. Darla says:

My God he is so off the wall today. I got shivers looking at his twitter feed.

I can never forgive the people who did this to us, honestly. Some things are simply unforgivable.

    • Lorelei says:

      Darla ITA. Unforgivable.

    • magnoliarose says:

Yes they are and I have unanswered emails from relatives to prove it. I don’t forgive them. The old me was a peacemaker. I don’t feel that generous anymore.

  22. EscapedConvent says:

lightpurple, Housey McHouseface is a grand name! It has the sophistication that people all over the globe will respect, just as they respect and admire our Orange Goober. And since he has forgotten that, when not golfing, he sort of lives in a big empty building that is painted a light color, Housey will be perfect, and may even help him find his way home. Awww.

And sometimes, maybe he can alternate Housey with that other thing he called it, “Tippy Top House.”

  23. Holly hobby says:

That picture of him sitting with those poor kids. Angry man sitting among the innocent. Advertisers should pull their ads from Sinclair stations. Vote with your wallet.

Going after Bezos is the wrong move. The man can pull up. His company and move to Canada. Bye bye jobs. I hope bezos sues this bastard in his individual capacity for slander.

  24. Lyla says:

So the dotard and his administration loves taking credit for the stock market doing well, but they didn’t say sh** about the Dow plummeting yesterday (it’s the worst second quarter start since the Great Depression). Hmm…maybe it’s because some dotard thought it was smart to start a trade war with China by slapping on two tariffs cause you know “trade wars are good and easy to win.” And how did China retaliate? By imposing 126 tariffs on US goods. Yes the same doofus who is known for his debt and bankruptcies think trade wars are easy. 🙄. The same dotard also attacked an American company just because he doesn’t like the owner. Then he went on to attack his very own department of justice….

His tweets also revealed he doesn’t have a clue what DACA or NAFTA is.

Oh and now he wants to militarize the border? Great.

The other day, my friend and I were in San Diego and was randomly pulled over by border patrol (not at the checkpoint) and asked if we were US citizens…I’m a SoCal native and I have never been pulled over to be questioned about my citizenship (and how would you even prove you’re a citizen without carrying your passport around?) in my twenty odd years of life. But I admit I don’t spend that much time in SD, I’m more of a LA/OC girl. My roommate in college was from La Jolla and she’s never been randomly stopped. So my question to you SD celebitches, is this more of a recent thing since the dotard has been in office, has it been ramped up recently, or has it always been like this?

    • themummy says:

I’m the person who would get shot during that citizenship interaction. Because it violates my rights to have to answer that question, I would utterly refuse. I am a citizen, but I would not answer that question even if they beat me, shot me, or threw me in jail. I would NEVER answer that question for them under those circumstances. Nope, nope, nope. This stuff makes me SO angry. This all just getting too Orwellian.

And yes, it is SO getting ramped up lately.

    • Snowflake says:

Yes ramped up. Sheriff Joe arapio was charged with refusing to stop people, asking if they were citizens. Trump pardoned him.

  25. why? says:

The Dotard is so stupid. What makes his stupidity even worse is that he doesn’t even make an effort to learn what he doesn’t know. Why would he, when no matter what he does the republicans sit there and do nothing, often times even parroting what he is saying. The Dotard and republicans have weakened this country and it won’t be too long before Russia and their allies work together to launch a military attack on this country. This is what the republicans should be thinking about, but they are not. They are not concerned about the world they are leaving behind for their kids and grandkids.

Why is the press saying that the Dotard has become unhinged now that Hope Hicks has left the WH? Do they suffer from amnesia? The Dotard has always been unhinged. What I don’t understand is why the press keeps telling us that Hope Hicks was the Dotard Whisperer. There are and never were any adults in the WH. Didn’t the Dotard say and do the most horrific things while Hope Hicks why babysitting him? So where did this nonsense about Hope Hicks being the Dotard Whisperer come from? We can only speculate that Hope Hicks has been leaking positive things about herself.

Remember how the WH had Kristen W announce that the Dotard was tough on Putin during their phone call? Well the Kremlin leaked that the Dotard begged Putin to come to the WH.

Hope might have been able to calm him down a bit and I’m sure the staff appreciated every little bit. Ivanka has some skills in that regard also.

But my guess is that his rages have been escalating so much that nobody can do much to soothe him. His tweets are getting even more off the wall than usual and nobody can get him to stop. He sees stuff on Fox News and doesn’t check it and doesn’t even understand it properly- so he tweets his even more addled version of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stephen Miller is getting stuff on Fox News specifically to rile up Trump in the direction Miller wants to go.
