Confession: popsugar had an embedded video of the wedding of Kate and William and they recommended setting aside 3 hours – and I DID. Judge away. I did enjoy it, though and I ffw through some parts, especially C&C were featured. I still think her eyeliner was too heavy, but I did get a bit soppy. They were nervous and happy and I’m glad they seem to have a solid marriage.

  2. JG says:

My guess is GP has started fertility treatments, so probably some weight gain and bloating she may want to conceal. No pregnancy yet. It would also explain why her skin and hair have been looking better lately.

    • N. says:

… or she just decided that starving yourself 24/7 just to look good for the paps is not worth it at the end of the day?

    • Grinning mama bear says:

Bloating and/or slight weight gain I might believe. Her face looks a bit less emaciated and more full-healthy than usual.

She seems happy. Kind of quietly happy inside and smiling outside. Her eyes are smiling.

  3. Miss M says:

I think Lainey is onto something…

  4. homeslice says:

Her hair is looking better now??????????

  5. still_sarah says:

It’s embarrassing to admit but Rob Schneider comedies are my guilty pleasure. I don’t brag about it but I can’t guarantee I won’t ever watch one again.

For a feminist boost, watch the music video “Ex’s and Oh’s” by his daughter Elle King. Clearly she was raised (well) by her mother.

  6. TrixC says:

I dislike this sort of speculation in women over 40. Even with fertility treatment the odds are heavily stacked against someone her age, and the process is frequently heartbreaking. I like to make fun of Gwyneth as much as the next person, but on this I’ll respect her privacy.

    • ValiantlyVarnished says:

Welp, if you dislike this kind of speculation in women over 49, then you should just dislike it in general. Because fertility issues isn’t something that only women over 40 face.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Count me as someone who dislikes this kind of speculation for any woman. It centers on a body critique then moves into invasive gossip about the most personal of topics (health and reproduction).

    • me says:

She’s not too old to get pregnant naturally. It can happen.

    • ValiantlyVarnished says:

@M no one is being picked on. I’m pointing something out. I find it hypocritical to say you take issue with talking about women over 40 getting pregnant when the same can he said about ANY woman’s personal reproductive business. Ive heard too many people say this but seem to be fine speculating about other women’s wombs who are younger than 40. That courtesy should extend to all if you take issue with it being talked about.

    • Grinning mama bear says:

Paltrow has written so much crappy health advice via Goop I guess she wouldn’t want to be caught needing fertility treatments because she is oh-so-goopy-healthy???? Or menopause treatment?
I think Paltrow has annoyed a lot of people and they would happily go for her should it be known that Goopy-happy-healthy Gwynnie should need help in the hormone department.

And yes, starving yourself and pseudo-healthy crap diets can actually speed up the aging process. Well, Ms Paltrow? Anything to say?

  7. MousieBrown says:

I’m more interested in why her shoes are attached to her ankles with duct tape..

  8. Justwastingtime says:

Can’t criticize her children or her fertility choices… everything is game on tho. :). She is as smug as they come…

  9. Nancy says:

I think it’s totally wonderful if she is pregnant. There are a lot of women who have children of a certain age, and are a certain age, almost 39 to be exact, and then as if magically, they are pregnant again. @MousieBrown: Lol! What in the name of goop is on her ankles!? *for the record, she looks preggers to me, her face is fuller and she is glowing…lol*

    • K-Peace says:

Happened to me at 41, we weren’t even trying anymore and thought those days were over. But here I am a little over 5 months pregnant, and very happy about it.

      • minx says:

Congrats! I was older than that and that baby is now in college. She’s been a blessing every day of her life.

    • Grinning mama bear says:

Swollen ankles due to water retention would be a dead giveaway of a pregnancy. And Gwynnie covers them up along with her midriff-covering sack. Hmmm …

  10. Jussie says:

She had a fairly late miscarriage with complications the last time she was pregnant. I dislike all pregnancy speculation, but in cases where it’s known the woman has lost a baby before I think it’s especially unnecessary.

  11. lucy2 says:

I don’t like pregnancy speculation either, if someone announces, great, otherwise none of our business.

  12. Lama Bean says:

Hard to be a public servant charged with making laws when you are serving time. Can you do that?

  13. Cynical Ann says:

I can’t imagine with their other kids’ ages that they’d want to go back and do it all again?! (And I say this as someone who had her last at 42 naturally-but my other kids were still young.)

    • trillian says:

I had my daughter when my son was 12 and a half. My daughter is now two, currently screeching like a banshee about not wanting to take a nap, my son is 14 and being a teenager and I am drinking coffee wondering if it’s too early for a drink. I love both of them like crazy but what the hell was I thinking???

      • Cynical Ann says:

Right?! This is exactly what I mean. It’s not her age-it’s her kids’ ages (and Falchuk’s kids are even a bit older)! The one upside I can see (and I’m sure you will observe this too) is when your older kids are eye rolling you or you’re dealing with teen angst, there’s something sweetly simple about snuggling with your little kid or being entertained by their funny comments. Hang in there, trillian!

  14. tracking says:

It is true she’s departed from her usual body con styles, and in a serious way. Also, she looks exhausted and like she’s not touching up her grays. Hmm…. (if so, all the best to her).

  15. Katie says:

Hmm, I just went and looked at the wedding shower photo (the one that Monique Lhuiller hosted) and Gwyneth has a glass of wine in front of her. I can’t see her mixing up a wedding and a pregnancy, not for her “big, first” wedding. Also, I always think the biggest tell of pregnancy is whether the breasts look bigger and I don’t think hers do.

    • Grinning mama bear says:

A full glass of wine in front of her? Perhaps she didn’t drink it? A half-empty glass would be a more distinctive indicator of “not pregnant” with health-conscious goopy.
It is difficult to tell if her balcony size increased because of that sack dress.
      Same for her ankles.
She isn’t touching up her roots: some women don’t dye their hair during pregnancy because they don’t want the hair dye chemicals to affect the pregnancy.
      I honestly don’t know.

    • Danielle says:

I think she drank a small amount during a previous pregnancy? I remember it was super controversial even tho some doctors think it is not a big deal.

  16. Tessa says:

She looks healthy! Either given up her orthorexic Woo or got a bun baking. Either way good in her

  17. Reece says:

Yay makeup talk!!! I don’t use the Kat V D liner (my eyes are super hooded, no point in eyeliner imo) but my friend does and we both wear her lipsticks. I have woken up the NEXT DAY and it was still on! Tom Ford too, esp the reds. The KVD matte colors are awesome too but they dry my lips out a lot.
