I did quite like the bad shrimp one 🙂

    • V4Real says:

Scarlett made me laugh so hard. I hate White people. She goes, all of us.
Don Cheadle. that’s fucked up. LOL…
At least they can laugh at themselves.

      These were funny.

      • Ayra. says:

Sadly, the person is now getting some good ol’ racist comments (and black people are somehow getting blamed even though the only “race related” weet that came from a black person was Chadwick’s, I think..).
A bit of context: the tweet was a response to an article saying that Scarlett was chosen for Ghost in the Shell because they didn’t believe that Asians had enough expressions. The Tom one was from a Tom fan.

    • Yup says:

That was hilarious- and the snapping turtle one 😂

  2. Jegede says:

I’m seeing Avengers IW tomorrow! Finally!

And I’m actually looking forward to that Simple Favor movie with Anna Kendrick & Blake Lively.

  3. Nickname says:

I’ve always hated this segment. Most of the time the tweets aren’t funny and it just encourages people to be douche canoes.

  4. LuckyZeGrand says:

I love watching Mean Tweets because you can tell which celebrities don’t take themselves too seriously and have a sense of humor.
I’m very pleased that my favorite Chris,Benedict Cumberbatch,Samuel L. Jackson and Chadwick Boseman pass the test..the others all look like they swallowed sour grapes.

    • Lyla says:

      Who’s your favorite Chris?

      • LuckyZeGrand says:

Evaaaans..between Dodger, his beard and the new Cap suit showing his forearms my ovaries have exploded and decided to retire due to overstimulation.

      • Lyla says:

        He’s my favorite too

      • Ellaus says:

@Luckyzegrand you just made me LoL at a hospital…. Thank you so muchos because this comment resumes my feelings for Chris Evans too!!!

    • Meggles says:

The ones who had a good sense of humour about it were reading tweets that were either flattering or amusing, though. The ones that reacted poorly were reading tweets that personally abusive. Of course someone reading a tweet saying, “OMG he’s the most amazing awesome person ever but how come his surname sounds white” is going to react differently from someone reading, “He’s a hideously ugly a-hole who has zero talent and should go die in a ditch.” I mean Chadwick’s tweet was straight up tongue-bathing him, not remotely mean or insulting. They should have chosen amusing insults for all of them, not a mix of amusing and abusive ones.

      • ichsi says:

Yeah, the Dave Bautista one was completely uncalled for and not even remotely funny.

      • LuckyZeGrand says:

Well that’s my point exactly, you should never take seriously people who hide behind a fake name and find ways to tell you how much you suck.
I’m aware that public reception and perception is important to celebrities but although sometimes innovative and witty at the end of the day Mean Tweets are written by a bunch of people who can only be brave in their hate when they’re protected by their anonymity.Might as well have some fun with it.

      • Meggles says:

But… the comments you’re saying the celebs “had fun with” were not “hate”. Not in any way. They were either funny or outright flattering.

It’s just crazy to neg someone for not laughing at being told to read horrible personal abuse, and praise someone for smiling when they read flattering, nice compliments. (And why even include a complimentary tweet in a bit called “celebs read mean tweets”?)

It’s just a stupid idea. Celebs reading mean tweets only works if the tweets are funny and not abusive.

      • LuckyZeGrand says:

I agree with you somewhat but when you or I hear or read something mean about us it has the possibility of ruining our day but the scope in which celebrities are written about is enormous and the praise overwhelms the criticism every time.If Dave Bautista were to type his name on Google he would many many tweets and articles about how adorable Drax is.I’m pretty sure all these celebs especially Marvel ones are told all day long how amazing and incredible they are.
If one tweet pisses them of they are getting the side eye from me.

      • Rachel says:

I find that attitude ridiculous and demeaning. They get praise, so they should laugh and pretend to have a great time when forced to read personal abuse on camera?? They’re still human beings with the exact same feelings and insecurities as anyone else. And NO the reality of life as a famous actor is not one of constant ass-kissing. Most actors are not reading praise tweets all day, they live in the real world of an extremely harsh and demanding industry. I’ve witnessed fsr more famous actors than these mostly relative unknowns get screamed at for being fat or for reaching for something carby from the craft services table.

IMO only bullies say “ohhh can’t you take a joke?” about personal abuse.

  5. SlightlyAnonny says:

Bendysticks Kumalquat is forcing me to like him with this and IW. Also, if Sebastian Stan looks like a potato I have been buying the wrong tubers.

  6. Ayra. says:

Samuel does look like a snapping turtle lol

  7. Sara says:

Hate superhero movies. When will they stop???

    • minx says:

Same. I haven’t seen one in my life.

      • Mina says:

So why do you hate them if you’ve never seen one?

(Also it’s not stopping any time soon, sorry)

    • aang says:

I’m neutral on the movies but the avengers and star wars are ruining my life by ruining disney world and disney land . Take that junk, and all the duchy white bros that follow it, to universal where it belongs. *I know lots of great people love it too* but lots of the fans are just gross and would never have set foot in disney in the past.

  8. Babs says:

I hope this site will cover Kanye’s interview with CTG. Mental breakdown where? I love what he said about the “crazy” stigma. So true.

    • Lyla says:

Didn’t see it. But just saw the clip where he went to tmz and slavery was a choice. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

  9. MeghanNotMarkle says:

The mean tweets were ok but that Dave Bautista one was wrong on every level. They couldn’t find anything less hateful for him to read???

    • Tiffany says:

It would not surprise me if they could not make it on television.

      Yeah, people can be garbage.

      • MeghanNotMarkle says:

I felt for him so much. You could see in his face that he was hurt, and rightfully so. He may be a celebrity but he’s still human. So wrong.

    • Liberty says:

Agree. It wasn’t funny, it was cruel really.

  10. janetdr says:

I adore Aidy Byrant and am happy to see a picture of what looks like a lovely wedding!

    • Lucy2 says:

I really like her too! I love the dress, shoes, and flowers combo in her wedding photo.

  11. manta says:

Shanina Shaik and DJ Ruckus also got married this weekend. I realize that’s a wedding probably no one cares about except me, but she’s a model I’ve always found breathtaking, and pictures of them together make me smile.
    Congratulations to you kids.
