When Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first got together, they went overboard and people were like “settle down, please.” There were just too many stories, too many social media photos, too much “odd couple/love match” shenanigans. But Gwen and Blake got the last laugh – they’re still together and seem absolutely fine. They aren’t going overboard with a love tour either – they seem to spend much of their time in LA, but they only get pap’d every so often, and usually it’s when they’re going to church or having a rare date night out.
Last night was one of their date nights, I guess. They went out to the LA premiere of Bennett’s War, a film about a guy with the Army Motorcycle Unit who gets injured in an IED explosion and ends up becoming a motorcross racer to earn money to save the family farm. I sh-t you not, that’s the actual premise of the movie – you can see the trailer here. Country music star Trace Adkins plays the soldier’s father, and judging from the photos, Blake and Trace are tight and that’s why Blake and Gwen came out to support the film.
I think it’s cute that Gwen comes out for these kinds of things with Blake, honestly. They’re a real couple – she’ll go out to a premiere of a weird motorcross movie just to support his friend. And she’ll get all dressed up in a weird ensemble too, while Blake stays lowkey in jeans. Gwen’s outfit doesn’t make any sense to me, but I enjoy it. I guess I’m still a fan of these two? Gwen’s back on the latest season of The Voice as well, and Blake’s super-pleased about it.

I mean, she’s beautiful and at this stage, her face still looks mostly normal but I hope she doesn’t do more.
I don’t care for Blake but they do look really happy so good for them I guess.

It’s fillers, laser and (IMO) a really good doctor. I think she looks great but nothing like her original self which is kind of a bummer. Still, the woman is almost 50 years old and she’s still pretty gorgeous.
She knows as soon as she “lets herself go”, Blake will be out the door. You know another cute blonde will come along – just like what happened in his last two relationships.

*sigh* I don’t know how to really say this without sounding like a complete douchebag, but please, stop with the facework. Please.

To me her face is a tragedy. She doesn’t look terrible but she was so GD BEAUTIFUL in a truly original way before she started to look like this. I realize that age happens and it would be unrealistic to think that she would get no work done and age totally naturally but their had to be other options then a full facelift and full fillers? Is that what we are seeing? Also is her perfect nose smaller? What IS HAPPENING GWEN!!! That aside, they are a good couple and seem quite supportive of each other.
My first thought was like everybody else’s: Gwen is that really you?? I don’t recognize her! I usually can’t tell when celebs get work done and Gwen has probably been getting it done for years. She doesn’t look weird but so generic if you asked me to point her out in a lineup I wouldn’t be able to. It’s a shame. The only reason I know it’s still her is the clothes.
Blake really does wear the most ill fitting jeans. That’s all I’ve got for him.
I used to be a huge fan…but now I just feel sad whenever I look at Gwen and what she has done to her face and how she has dropped her former bandmates. The rock star that she was in the 90’s would not even recognize the person she is today… As for Blake…he’s just like her other relationships. She caters to them and they like her, but don’t want to marry her. I wish she’d find more self worth and be single for awhile.

They had another reason to attend. Blake has a duet with Trace that will be released on Friday(16th). Kaiser, did you also see reports that Gwen’s house is sold and that they purchased a new home together.
I think she looks great and anything she’s had done has settled. Hopefully, she’ll ease up moving forward. I was a huge No Doubt/Gwen fan and she doesn’t look that different to me when comparing her looks at the start of her career versus now. It’s obvious she had a nose job, but it suits her.
Side note: I jokingly tell my husband we’re like Gwen and Blake. I love dressing up and wearing makeup, even though I work from home and it’s unnecessary, and he just throws on whatever. 😂
