It seems Madonna was totally overcome by her amazing 51st birthday celebrations. Not only did she perform on her birthday in Poland, she got to spend some quality time with her kids, and with Jesus Luz. At her birthday party in Portofino, Italy, Madonna was even overheard giving a toast (to herself?) in which she referred to Jesus as “the love of my life.” Sayonara, Sean Penn. Too bad, Guy Ritchie. You boys have been replaced. With none other than a 22-year-old Brazilian model.
MADONNA says Jesus Luz is “the love of her life”.
The singer praised the 22-year-old Brazilian model in a speech at her 51st birthday party in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday before running across the room to passionately kiss him.
As friends looked on, Madonna gushed: “He’s the love of my life. He has been so strong around me. I can’t thank him enough.”
The next morning, the couple looked blissfully happy as they boarded a luxury yacht with Madonna’s children – Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, Mercy, four, and David, three.
As the children relaxed on the deck, Madge and her lover frolicked in the ocean, with Madonna – whose ex-husband is British director Guy Ritchie – shunning a skimpy bikini in favour of a basketball uniform emblazoned with her name.
An onlooker said: “She and Jesus looked madly in love and it was great to see her looking so happy. They just looked like any normal family enjoying a holiday together.”

I know we’ve had this debate a million times, but I just can’t wrap my head around it. Are Jesus and Madonna really intimate? Are they having sex? Or is he just Madonna’s little buddy? Or better yet, her newest gay friend?
But really, I honestly can’t imagine Madonna saying that Jesus is the love of her life. Remember that part in Truth or Dare? Where Madonna’s got a “truth” and she was asked about “Who is the love of your life?” Madonna looked embarrassed, shy and vulnerable for a moment and admitted it was Sean Penn. This was before both Carlos Leon and Guy Ritchie. This was before she was even a mother. My guess is that Madonna probably thinks of her kids as the loves of her life. Or at least give Guy Ritchie some props.

What strikes me as totally bizarre, is the fact the on-looker said “They just looked like any normal family enjoying a holiday together.”
Ummm. Just a year ago she was with Guy Ritchie and their two children. Now she sits here with Jesus and two new children. Where are Lourdes and Rocco? I can’t name the feeling it stirs up, but it seems really erie, bizarre, and creepy to me. It’s like she finds people totally replacable. Not only partners, but children. So very strange.

And that line in the article about her “family” looking so “normal.” Please…normal families, even most nontraditional families, don’t consist of (1) an aging self absorbed, gristly hag (2) a “boyfriend” that is ALMOST young enough to be her grandchild (3) one child that she gave birth to outside of either or her marriages and (4) two children that she bought/stole from another country. This isn’t even mentioning her other biological child that I guess wasn’t there.
But, I’m just grateful she spared us all the sight of her in a swimsuit.

When you’re in the heady honeymoon phase of a relationship you tend to think of it as the best love you’ve ever had. So when she was in her 30′s and in love with Sean Penn, she thought he was the one, the love of her life. Then it ended.
Really, it’s a stupid turn of phrase. Unless you believe that there is one “right” partner out there for you, I guess. But it’s a saying that everyone uses, so I can’t fault her for it.

I don’t want to give away my age here, but I’ve been following Madonna since her New York club days (remember the remix of “EVERYBODY”) and she always has this whole love of my life thing going on. Once this guy turns 25–if that long she’ll find the next love of her life–its sorta her thing.

@ lilred … I guess I read the article quickly. But I think my point still stands. The other kids aren’t in any of the pictures, and Madonna seems more absorbed in her new May-December romance and freshly adopted kids than her older children.

When she wears skimpy outfits people bitch how old and haggy she looks. When she’s not with her children people label her the worst mom ever and that she never spends time with her children. Tons of celebrity men date women 20-30 years younger and get an attaboy, wink, wink. Now she’s swimming in something modest and spending her birthday with all her children and people are still nasty. I think they all look like they’re having a nice, family holiday.

her daughter is in the pic. thats her head above water. it would of helped if the person who runs this site had more pics. other sites have them. rocco is ina couple of them as well as her daughter. the one where the 4 of them r on the boat her daughter is in the front of the boat. i agree she does seem happy but she gets bored quickly. give it a year and this guy will b gone.

Not a fan, and never was. I noticed from pics on another site that her basketball outfit says “Madonna 1″ And, Mercy’s white t-shirt says “I love Madonna.” I think she is such a narcissist, and I can’t imagine what it must be like to live with someone like that. Poor Mercy.

Did you forget all the people she burned on her way up? Even in the 80′s in the music scene she was using DJ’s to play her song, and when she made it big she forgot about all those who helped her out.
She screwed over Sandra Bernhard something about a song that Bernhard was going to do (Fever I think) and Madonna went ahead and did it before her.
The whole Vogue thing Miss M would have you believe that she invented it when the gay community has been Voguing for years.

I think the woman is amazing! She’s had an incredible career for over 30 years, undergone so many changes in order to remain relevant and still draws fans to her concerts by the thousands. Hell yes she’s vain and self-obsessed…everyone in this business is…hers is just so much more out front. You have to be wrapped up in your own self-worth if you want to remain on top. As for Jesus…he’s the ‘love of her life’ for now…let her believe it.

Look at pictures of Madonna with her kids then of Britney Spears with hers. Britney actually looks AT her kids and is very clearly interacting with them and smiling that mom smile when she looks at them. Madonna is always looking at something, anything, else. Her kids seem like props for staged events. D’uh.

I think Sean Penn probably was, but I don’t think Ritchie or Leon were. In her brohter’s book it sounded like she used Leon as a sperm donor (and around that time she was looking for any possible fathers). Ritchie was just something to keep her from being lonely. He didn’t mesh well with her lifestyle and he didn’t seem that nice to her (bit controlling and macho, but she kind of likes that abusive nature).
She may feel like Luz is because he’s helped her out after the divorce (and women always get gushy when they’re older and find younger men) but I think it will wear off. All women like to think the one didn’t get away and he’s just around the corner. Penn wasn’t great for her but it seemed like both were really into that relationship. Unforuntatly things just didn’t work out but she still kind of goes gaga for him (remember that Oscars when he poked fun at Luz?). I’m not saying they’ll ever get back togther (because Madge is too old for him) but if she coud will it, I think she’s think about it.
