Uh, this is just terrible. Life & Style’s cover story this week is all about how Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have “two more babies on the way”. The cover image is from May of 2008, when Angelina was pregnant with Knox and Vivienne and doing press at the Cannes Film Festival. And the whole “Angelina Confirms” note - apparently, Angelina “confirmed” that she and Brad want more children… when she allegedly spoke to Stylist magazine, an online publication (I think?) that seems, in a word, “sketchy”. All of that being said, I do think Angelina and Brad want more kids, as both of them have said in interviews over the past year. And the actual text of the cover story isn’t really that shocking:
During her recent United Nations trip to Syria to meet with refugee families, Angelina Jolie let a secret slip about how overwhelming her own kids can be. Faced with a mother embarrassed that her five children were out of control, U.N. rep Dalia Al-Achi tells Life & Style, “Angelina told the mom that her children are even naughtier!”
Raising six kids under the age of 9 is a difficult task, and Angie herself admits that life is
“absolute chaos at times.” Which makes her statements in a new interview all the more shocking: For the first time, she’s confirmed that she and Brad Pitt, 45, plan to adopt again — and have another biological child.“I can see further additions to the family — both adopted and our own,” Angelina, 34, tells the British magazine Stylist in its October issue.
Brad and Angie plan to add two more children, if not more, to their family, confirms an insider close to the couple. “They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby — for now,” the insider says. “But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children.”

So even though I think Life & Style’s sourcing and cover editing is total crap, I tend to think the basic gist is right on. I do think Angelina and Brad will end up adopting at least one more kid, and they might even try for another biological kid. Recently, Star Magazine reported that Angelina had her heart set on adopting another African girl because she promised Empress Zahara. I believed the basics of that story, but not the other crap about Angelina and Brad fighting over how many kids to have. I don’t really get that aspect of these stories - Brad’s said in interview after interview that he wants more kids too.

Stylist Magazine was a cut and paste interview not new. They’ve been saying for years they wanted 7 or 8 kids. For some reason people make headlines of it. It also seems logical that they would have one more biological and adopted child.

why is it that so many so-called green celebrities choose to procreate at a rate that is well beyond 0 population growth? They should have tried to limit themselves 1 biological child/parent, especially since all of their offspring have very large carbon footprints and are large consumers due to the celebrity lifestyle.

I have two aunts and an uncle on my dad’s side, all of whom married, none of whom had kids. So that tallies up to 6 people for the replacement rate, right? Except then my mom’s brother didn’t have kids, so that makes 7.
I hereby gift those unused people to the Brange. They may raise those children without shame, as my aunts and uncles didn’t take advantage of their pre-approved human spaces anyway. As they have thus far only used three of those allotments, they can make up to 4 more babies. Feel better?

There is no way in hell Brad is having any biological children with this woman. I believe they broke up over the twins having developmental issues. It has lead Brad to drinking. I’m sure there is blame all around. There won’t be anymore new children between them, biological or adopted. They put on a facade for the media but they have gone their separate ways since Christmas time of last year. Sorry, Brangeloonies.

what developmental issues do the twins have? they look fine to me…sure,they may be a few months ‘behind’ what people consider normal,but at that age,variations have plenty of time to catch up,esp. when they have resources for specialists,plus older children in the home to stimulate. first i’ve heard of developmental delays.

Okay, not that this has anything to do with this post exactly, but how is it that The Duggars are hideous people for over populating the earth with their child army, but not Brad and Angie?
For the record, I could care less who has how many children, as long as they are cared for and don’t live off the Gov.
My point is, if people want to have 1,6,20, as long as they take care of them and have the money to do so, so what? It is not our business to tell people that they can or cannot have children. If Brad and Angie want 50 kids, good for them. Same with anyone else if they can love and educate them, super!

CAN ANYONE COUNT? They’ve had 3 bio babies and adopted the rest. How does that make them overpopulating the earth? So many other celebs have more than 3 bio babies (Heidi/Seal, Annette Bening/Beatty, Patricia Heaton, etc). And, they are 16 bio babies behind the Duggars. Some of the complaints here are really irrational.

I am very uncomfortable with the quote “both adopted and our own”. I really hope she didn’t say that. If she did, I hope someone teaches her some better terminology when talking about her children. Whether adopted or biological, they are all hers. I just don’t think this is an area where you want to be careless with your words.

Why is there STILL conversations about how many children Brad and Angelina have. I mean they both have said OVER and OVER again that they wanted a big family…Consisting of biological and adoptive children. They are asked the same STUPID question in EVERY interview.. “Will you have more kids”. Do people really think that they are the ONLY people in the world or Hollywood who have more then ONE child. Heidi Klum just had her 4th child. Brook Burke has 4 or 5 kids. One of the Docs on Grey’s has 5 bio kids. I don’t here ANYONE screaming at them about over population. Angelina has been pregnant 2 times.. 2 times. Hardly seem like an issue considering Victoria, Julia, Heidi have more kids.. and Reese, Nicole, Gwen, Jennifer and countless others have been pregnant the same number of times as Angie.. BUT I guess the only people that should not have more kids are the Jolie-Pitts..
And regarding being GREEN.. I don’t recall Brad ever claiming to be as Green as other celebs. I know his focus and interest has been on Building to save lives and money.. So for people to attack them on how they travel and such is a bit over the top. Oprah has a private Jet, and many others. Where are the threads on those people.. OH forgot. the mode of travel for the jolie-Pitts is the only thing of concern..
It would be great if people moved on and left these people alone. They are in France not giving interviews, not at premiers or events that are not related to them, YET they are constantly brought up in any and every news event.

Yeah they broke up that’s why Brad accompanied her to Syria and Jordan.I broke up w/ my husband and I wouldn’t go with him to the store nevermind to another country to support his charity work.Brad told Charlie Rose they would have between 7-9 kids in Dec 2007 when Angie was pregnant with the twins. BTW Angie has only been pregnant twice and she is only 34.

Angelina doesn’t use fillers in her lips. Her lips look those full from childhood. She started the trend, everyone wants to have her lips. As for Brad, I think He is just tired. Afer all, he is 45, so if hey are going to be having a new addition to their family they better hurry up! AS for the beard, he’s just going through a midlife crises and trying to find an image that’s not just a pretty boy. So what, leave them alone haters. They do nothing but help others less fortunate than themselves in the spare time. What do you do? Sit incessantly behind the computer and live vicariously through celebs? Get a life. Typos stay.

Thank you Kim.. sad that the some people get so nasty and hateful over the fact that they have adopted 3 children, and people act as if Angelina is pregnant every day; when if fact she has ONLY been preggers 2 times. And to the people who love to scream buying children.. DO YOU NOT KNOW anyone who has adopted.. Well let me tell you. IT AIN’T FREE.
And Angelina and Brad seem to be doing just great. It is the rest of Hollywood that is going Batsh#t.. and no one seem to notice the fallout until it is over. THEY keep focusing on these two people. People who have been saying the same thing about children before they got together.. I hope they have lots and to hell with the people who have a problem with it.
But hey.. I don’t think either give a sh#t as it is.. BRAVO for them on that one.

Nobody is saying that they shouldn’t have or adopt lots of kids…as it was noted above, that’s not the problem…it’s the celebrity lifestyle that’s the problem environmentally.
Taking kids out of developing nations and plonking them into the celebrity life is admirable but I bet those kids contributed more CO2 in one day with Brange than they would’ve in a lifetime in Africa or Cambodia.
Rampant consumerism not overpopulation is whats messing up the environment.

Does anyone seriously care? As long as they can afford to have these children taken care of, I guess that is all that matters. I think Brad and Jen still have a genuine connection, Brad was thinking with his little head. No offence to AJ but this would be too much for anyone. They are still making movies, so they are obviously not too affected by their life decisions. God sees all. None of us have a right to judge.
