Several days ago, Radar put a video up of John Mayer in Toucan’s Tiki Lounge, a popular gay club in Palm Springs. The video was shot this past Saturday. The video (see here, but BEWARE, the sound quality is ridiculous - all you can hear is really loud music) shows John partying and dancing with men, but Radar’s report claims that, “according to an eyewitness, a fellow male patron approached John and planted a big kiss right on his lips – and John seemed to enjoy it! The eyewitness says that that was when the whole place erupted and cheered.” Mayer, predictably, took to his Twitter to barf out some half-assed denial:
Get it straight: John Mayer didn’t smooch another guy at a gay club. The singer, 31, took to his Twitter page to clarify tumors.
“Rumor check: went to gay bar in Palm Springs, yes. Had a blast. Danced my face off,” he began. “Someone there planted a kiss on me? No.”
Mayer — who once locked lips with celeb blogger Perez Hilton - then added, “I don’t like the story painting gays as unable to control themselves. Found the crowd even more respectful than in a straight club. You know who the most flamboyant crowd is? Straight, drunk girls. They’re like a bunch of little Charles Nelson Reillys.”
The new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) reports that the singer has gotten back together with Jennifer Aniston, with whom he first split in August 2008 only to reunite months later. They called it quits (again) this past March.
But this time, “he really got to her, and she’s hooked on him,” a source tells the new Us Weekly. “She just can’t let go.”

Considering John Mayer has a history of kissing men and likes to drop the word “sodomy” into conversations, I actually believe Mayer might have kissed some dude at a gay bar. Personally, I think John’s sexual history and general attitude about sex and relationships indicate that Mayer might be bisexual, or in complete denial about his homosexuality. John himself has gone back in forth about his sexuality for “comedic” and famewhoric effect. In a Rolling Stone interview, he denied ever having gay thoughts. But in the infamous video where he admitted to kissing Perez Hilton, he said: ““I was thinking about going gay. Every man has thought about going gay. Guys like fantasies without the details. ‘Oh yeah, I could blow a dude. Might taste like cherries.’ The idea of blowing a guy, that’s not the problem.” So, yeah. God knows. My take: Denial. And totally gay. And totally sketchy.
Another thing that’s interesting to me - John takes to his Twitter to deny kissing a dude, but he doesn’t deny the Jennifer Aniston rumors. You’d think a guy who can’t jerk off without publicly pontificating about the darkness of dick rot (“I’m worried about how dark it is. I have a Dominican penis.”) wouldn’t be able to shut up if he got a girl to come back for the third time.

I think its telling that he went on “rumor control” and denied the man-on-man kiss. I hadn’t even heard of that rumor until he brought it up, meanwhile everyone has heard that he and Aniston are back together. The lack of comment, in this case, with this couple, means “its on”

I don’t think not denying Jennifer Anniston means they are dating although I think they are. John loves publicity so the Jennifer thing is fine to him. Most straight/in the closet men don’t want gay rumors floating around so they are quick to deny them.

He is such a loser and a famewhore! After he broke up with Jen the first time was hilarious. He was upset the paparazzi didn’t give 2 cents about him, so he had to reel her in again. Pathetic.
And Jen — seriously, what self respecting woman continues to run back to a dude who in a roundabout way declared the hottest woman on the planet is the woman your Ex left you for?!
Here is one of John Mayer’s jokes: “Everyone thinks Brad Pitt has it great because he married Angelina Jolie. I think he has it terrible, because when Angelina Jolie is giving you a blow job, what do you tip your head back and think of to help you finish? You have nothing left — just Jesus on a polar bear in the middle of the snow, saying, ‘You greedy motherfucker, I’ve got nothing for you.’”

i really don’t understand the hate against this dude! He’s music is so amazing! So WHAT? He wants fame just like every other guy in America!! Jen is my fav star..but seriously..if she went back with him..she would become the single most pathetic thing ever! I’m sorry jen but you dumbed him once and he dumbed you once too! Please, we all the whole routine by now. They’re going to get together for a few months, cite that they’ve worked through their issues, only to hear that they haven’t, and the inevitable breakup a few months later.

Can’t Jennifer find a handsome oncologist who just frets about his patients? There are tons out there but women leave them because they become so involved with their patients and number stats. They’re in it to win.
Surely, this would work out great for both of them and you know those doctors and their families hail from better stock than JM.

I think he’s hot, and his music is hot too. He has a sardonic sense of humor, which is off-putting on a superficial level, but there’s so much more on a deeper level that he’s just flipping the bird to those who can’t grasp it. There is no denying that he is an extremely talented young man. He makes more sense to me than the crap spewing out of the mouths of other celebs, such as Lady Gaga, who obviously cares what we think about her, while JM could not give a crap what we think about him. He doesn’t care at all, and I kinda find that refreshing.

I’ve known he was a closet gay or closet bi for a long time, since 2002 before he became a famewhore, it’s just something you can sense about a guy, it’s gaydar, and there is scientific data to back up “gaydar” google it, it’s not just guessing someone is gay based on stereotypes, and reckless behaviour and alcohol and partying and excessive bragging about sleeping with women are things closeted men do to run away from their own attraction to men, being gay and dating closeted men, many act in the same way that john mayer does, get really f-ed up, go to a gay bar, f- around with some guys, then when they’re sober regret it and go on the defensive insisting they’re straight, drugs is another thing, good thing he hasn’t done that.
