Tiger Woods may be living large on his yacht and/or at another filthy rich friend’s mansion in Long Island. Maybe he’s in sex rehab as has been rumored, but I thoroughly doubt it. With all the speculation on Tiger’s luxurious whereabouts, there’s some comforting news that he spent a little time in the dog house. US Weekly reports that the philandering golfer passed a night or two sleeping on an air mattress in a friend’s empty mansion. All he had were some snacks, crappy beer, and a TV to keep him busy. I’m sure he passed the time texting various women asking them to come over for chips and Bud light.
From riches to rags — at least for a couple nights, anyway.
An insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now) that Tiger Woods, 34, slummed it on the floor of a deserted house in the days after his Nov. 27 blowout with wife Elin, 30.
“When she kicked him out, he couldn’t exactly go to a hotel, so he ran over to [pro golfer] Mark O’Meara’s empty villa and stayed there,” says a resident of Woods’ luxe Isleworth, Florida, gated community.
Adds the source, who viewed the home after Woods left: “The house was gutted except for an air mattress, some pillows, a TV, snacks and Bud Light in the fridge, and a golf glove on the floor.”

I wonder what he got up to with that golf glove. While Tiger was roughing it, Elin was moving her stuff to a new mansion without all the bad memories. TMZ has photos of the new $2 million rented home that Elin has been staying in with the kids near their main estate. The interior design really isn’t to my liking, but it surely isn’t a hardship. Elin might get a little less pocket money. GM is the latest sponsor to drop all association with her scandal-ridden husband. They won’t even let Tiger drive their cars for free.
Ladies, if your man is cheating on you take a lesson from lovely Elin’s mistake and do not lose your cool or even confront him. Elin’s understandable freakout (we don’t know if she really bashed Tiger in the face and I’m talking about how she trashed the house, violence is never a solution, etc.) may have cost her millions in settlement money. The best way to pay your husband back is to act like everything is fine while you quietly prepare for divorce by gathering all the evidence, bank account information and details you can find. A friend of mine confronted her husband with details of his infidelity and he just denied everything and tried to make her look like she was crazy, like he’d been doing during the entire affair. Think of how you’ll hold the upper hand if you keep quiet and surprise him with divorce papers. If you’ve got a great poker hand you don’t show your opponent your cards.
Plus evidence on his investments, real estate deeds, employment/endorsement contracts, etc. Once the divorce papers hit the fan, he’ll have an incentive to hide and/or liquidate whathever he can.
Also make sure to establish your own bank accounts and your own credit, so he can’t cut off your cards or your access to cash.
Have copies of everything, and put them in a place he does not know about and cannot access, perhaps a safe deposit box registered under your name only and paid for in cash. Safe deposit boxes are very inexpensive – mine costs about 30 dollars a year.

I sincerely think that efforts should be made in talking and concentrating more on the earthquake victims in Haiti than where Tiger Woods slept . ‘We’ in celebitchy here can make our own contributions in supporting these victims morally, spiritually and financially, I will support.
I totally agree with u on violence is never a solution and quietly preparing for divorce is not an answer either..Its high time we started understanding the concept of marriage. It goes beyond man/woman/children and money. Marriage is an institution of God, there must be ups and downs and a virtous woman should handle her home diligently and there are no rules that say how a marriage should be like except the rules made by God. Divorce is not the solution[my opinion].
Tiger Woods didn’t do well-agreed but has he not suffered enough already to atone for his sins? Please let him be.

I come to Celebitchy to read about celebs and be snarky. I go to (and did) the Red Cross site to donate and various news forums to talk about Haiti when I think I have something to contribute.

Also, no married person, whether they believe in a God or not, should put up with what Tiger did. There is no doubt she should leave him. His actions are inexcusable.

I disagree with the idea that one spouse should try to take a cheating spouse for every cent he or she has. It’s just not all about the money or about retribution. Assuming that most states’ divorce courts are going to ensure that the children and the spouse who was cheated on will be well taken care of and all needs met now and in the future, what’s an extra 1/4 billion going to bring? Spendability? Sure. But not happiness. Mostly revenge. Any person in Elin’s position–male or female–would better serve himself or herself to try to rise above the level that the cheating spouse has been operating on and go for a better spiritual quality of life, not just the highest dollar figure possible.
And I’m female and middle-class, I want to add. Not some rich guy who got burned by an ex-wife. 🙂
No way is this story true. For crying out loud, the man is a multi-millionaire, do you really believe he wouldn’t be able to hide out anywhere he wanted without someone finding out? C’mon. Money can buy anything and (just about) anybody.

just because someone references god when talking about marriage doesnt mean that the rest of us arent spritual. and in my opinion, the institution of marriage is a completely human institution, changing in tradition over time and evolving, and with wide variance all over the world. it couldnt be more man-made.

This site is completely separate from the tragedy in Haiti. It doesn’t mean we don’t feel the suffering in that ravaged country. As for Elin, I think she is going to take Tiger back. He had a lovely family there and he’s not going to let that go without a fight. I would guess he’s phoning Elin every night.
I want to know how come there has not been one single picture of Tiger since the “event”. You know a photographer could make enough money to retire for just one picture of him at this point, so how is it that he’s been able to evade them?

His career is unscathed; he lost a tiny portion of his sponsors. Poor baby. He earned his money himself, due to his talent and amazing hard work and she is not part of that and is not entitled to that money that he earned being a world class golfer.
