Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have split up! For a day. Brad took his oldest, Maddox, to New Orleans for the Saints v. Arizona Cardinals game in the Superdome on Saturday. For some strange reason, these photos are of Brad and Maddox sitting with Louisianan Patricia Clarkson as they all watch the Saints warm-up. Random, yes? The tabloids will probably make Clarkson the next player in the drama – “Angelina throws bucket of fish at Brad after she finds his sexy texts to Patricia Clarkson!” Anyway, the game (football, yes?) was the NFC Divisional Playoff Game, whatever that means (basketball?). The Saints won, so… great! I don’t know if Brad was in New Orleans as part of Make It Right, or he and Maddox just wanted to take in a game, or what.
But I do know that Angelina, Zahara and Shiloh weren’t in New Orleans with the boys! Radar had photos of Angelina and her older girls out food shopping at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks, California on Saturday. We don’t have access to the photos, but you can see them here. Zahara and Shiloh appear to be carrying their blankies. Angelina is wearing a grey poncho, so… the shapeless sack look is back!
Back to Brad and Maddox – yes, Brad still has that f-cking goatee crap. I’m including some extreme close-ups of it, in all of its goaty glory. I’m beyond defending that thing. It’s totally fug, and I think Brad is just growing that sh-t out because he doesn’t give a crap what we think. I will say this though – I will defend Brad’s aging. If he shaved that sh-t off, he would be a very handsome 40-something man who looked his age, and I do love his crow’s feet and his laugh lines. He looks like a man, not a pretty boy.
The knit cap should go, though. It makes me miss the newsboy cap.

I no longer care for Brad or Angelina (I’m one of those who haven’t seen a single movie they’ve been in since the whole cheating debacle, as I’ve been cheated on and believe in standing by my principles.) so my snarky comment is something along the lines of “The donation king holding court for his admirers.”

awww @ Maddox and his fedora. There seems to be an effort in this family to do a lot of one-one-one or one-on-two parent/child activities, which is nice, because it would be easy for a kid to feel lost in the shuffle of such a big family.

Maddox is cute, never would have pegged anyone in that family a football fan, but it looks like they’re having fun.
I think a big part of the problem is that it’s always that horrible hat plus the scraggle beard. One or the other would be bad enough but both all the time is extra bad.
I will say this – I don’t think Brad is aging well at all, but at least he’s letting it happen naturally, and not getting all pulled and tucked and botoxed. We don’t need him looking like Kenny Rogers any time soon!

goddess.. women get cheated on and so do men.. and YES it has happened to me. But unlike you and many other women.. My self esteem did not depend on that relationship. I moved on and found someone else. And since Brad said he did not cheat..so did Jennifer.. why are you so invested in that. I can’t understand why what Brad Pitt did or did not do affects the hearts of people who do not know this man. Nor what he feels, thinks or regrets. But hey.. I am not a whinnier.. I am a woman that did not spend years of my life thinking and being pissed about a breakup. Especially one that was not my own.
So maybe some of the Jennifer fans should get over that sooner then later. 5 years is too long to hold a grudge against someone you don’t know.

Don’t take it as gospel, but I read in one of the million stupid magazines I ended up with because I donated to the Special Olympics – whew – but supposedly Brad’s growing the thing out because he’s optioned some screenplay about some guy who has a long scraggly thing on his chin and he’s expecting that to be his next acting project.
That was awfully vague. They mentioned the name of the book/screenplay but of course I’ve forgotten it. Of course, there was the requisite “insider” quote about how Brad hates to wear fake beards. Haha.
Anyway.. does anyone in the family except Angie and Empress Zahara go out without a freaking hat on? Yeah, they’re cute, but jeez.

I think Brad is still one of the best looking actors around,even with that goatee. Plus, I think he is keeping it just because everybody hates it!! I think he’s laughing at all the stories (People mag, etc.) who criticize the goatee. I say, good for Brad for doing what he wants to do and not caring what anybody says!!
Also, congrats to the Saints!! I wonder if Brad and Mad will go to NO next week for the championship game?

It’s funny to me that some of the commentators on here rage about people hating on Jennifer Aniston, but then turn around and spew hatred on Brad and Angelina. At this point, hating on either of them for the way their relationships ended/started 5 years ago is one and the same! Don’t take it so personally, it has nothing to do with you.
There is nothing to see here except a father and son enjoying their time together. I wonder if the other kids are envious of how much alone time Maddox gets with his parents? Cute photos though, and its nice to see Brad enjoying himself out and about, he usually looks so perturbed by the photographers.

Hi Bella, I am on the opposite side of what you are right now. I wouldn’t go to either of these two’s movies for a long time until I recently gave them another chance. I watched two of Angelina’s movies and a couple of Brad’s also. I still think AJ is a marginal actress, though easy on the eyes. (she is still on the do not watch list, unless Clint or Tarantino cast her) Brad’s couple of movies I saw put him back on the “willing to watch” list. I think it pays to be one of the photogenic kids in that family because you get more solo trips out of the family bunker, in my opinion.
Birdie, I think the reason that Brad doesn’t look agitated in the photo is because Mad hooked up Daddy with a big fatty at the tailgate party.

And yeah – you need to check your facts – there were pictures of him playing happy family with AJ and Maddox long before the divorce even started. No dear heart I am not 13.. although I may have to get back in that mind set to continue this conversation.. Whatever Brad and Angie did has nothing whatsoever to do with you. Oh Goddess, I just read your last ranting comment. You are so angry, so bitter, because people have a different opinion from yours about the personal lives of celebs. It is irrational to get this worked up about the personal loves and lives of strangers. It is one thing to like or like a celeb’s body of work, that is a matter of personal choice. But to carry on as you are about a celeb’s personal life, which you appear to know nothing of but from the souces of tabloids and gossips I find extremely distasteful and utterly unintelligent. Just saw a few more pics from the game. Dang Maddox must have had a wonderful time. ON the field. meeting the actual players. He got a football too. Met the Bush and took a few pictures.. Super cute. Brad looked like he was having the time with his oldest son. That was an awesome game.
He seemed a bit shy.. but boy it is just so cute to see how big he is. I remember when he was still a tiny baby. He is a handsome little boy. Brad seems way proud of him. And very attentive. As a fan I love seeing he and Angie, but the pictures of them with their kids are very sweet.

No marriage is healthy and strong all the time. Impossible. Marriages have their struggles and their diffcult periods.
So all of you who say that J&B’s marriage was dead, etc. and that nobody can interrupt a strong marriage are wrong. Simply wrong or naive. Marriage just isn’t that simple.
Which, btw, is why we make vows and promises. They’re for the hard times, not the easy “strong and healthy” times.
Angelina is an emotionally disturbed person and I honestly think part of her interest in Brad was underscored by her desire to take away the popular cheerleader’s boyfriend. I think she got some satisfaction in that.
Nonetheless, what’s done is done.

Please join in the boycotting of projects including charities by the following actors who had an affar while married or with a married person. Paul Newman,Joanne Woodward, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Courtney Cox, Michael Keaton , Liam Neeson(Natasha was married), Julia Roberts,Tori and Dean,Eddie and Leanne… Please don’t watch any movies or tv shows. I’d boycott Angelina and Brad movies because they usually suck as actors (Fight club is one of my fave movies, though).
Ok, but their “affaire” is none of my business altohugh I dislike people who cheat.
And, if you are going to say that I hate cheaters because I’ve been cheated on, no, you are wrong, I’ve never been cheated on (as far as I know).

Yikes, Brad, lose the scruff. I don’t think he has aged all that well in fact the lighting in these photos are very complimentary, I’ve seen him look much worse but he’s got good features that saves him otherwise he’d look like one big wrinkle. Of course he may have had a little skin work done too…so yeah, but the slouch beanie and that beard, yuck. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a smile on Maddox’s face. Glad to see he’s happy at the moment. Love Patricia Clarkson too. An amazing actress!
