Jessica Alba Paranoid about Breastfeeding

I, like many others, approached childbirth with what might be described as trepidation. Or terror. Jessica Alba has a wonderful birth plan, one that I wish I had followed myself – worry about the part that comes after.

This is wonderful advice for new moms – worry about actually parenting your offspring for 20+ years, and less about the few hours of labor.

Except Jessica Alba is actually worried about breastfeeding.

“It’s quite a blessing and perfect timing,” the glowing star told “Extra” at a junket for her new thriller, “The Eye.”

The only thing that takes some getting used to?

“Definitely a lot more emotions!” she confessed. “Anything could make me incredibly angry or break down crying, and that’s not something I’m used to.”

She also admitted that she’s already dreaming about baby.

“It had to do with breastfeeding, which is the only thing I’m paranoid about, more than giving birth,” she revealed, adding that she’s trying not to gain too much weight during the pregnancy.

“I try and eat healthy as possible, good for baby, exercise, as long as i don’t’ gain too much to fast, that’s the key,” she said.

Jessica doesn’t go into details about her dreams, but I’m guessing the baby might have teeth. Or she’s nervy about losing that perfect figure. Or just the oddness of having a little person attached to your breast. Yes, it’s natural, but it is also a little odd.

As far as Jessica’s fitness level goes, all I’ve seen lately is her going in and out of the gym. Preggi Bellies yoga? I’m sure she’s being careful, and she looks great. I think pregnant women the world over may hate her.

Picture note by Celebitchy: Jessica Alba is shown at LAX and at the Sundance film festival on 1/19 and 1/21/08, thanks to Splash News.
