I agree with the show–this has been Aniston’s PR strategy. And, you can only do something so many times before people start seeing through you. The more talented and respected actresses (Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslett, Reese, Julia, Sandra, etc) don’t have to resort to fake PR games like fake romances, trashy nude photo spreads, and other attention-getting ploys to sell their movies. They do just fine with their talent, personality and class.

There are celebs out their who when they have a movie coming out exploit every intimate detail of the lives. They whore out their children. They talk about their sex lives. They publish naked photos of themselves taking showers in national magazines.
Why is whatever Aniston does so much more horrible than any of that? If she is even guilty of what people accuse her of.
She stood next to Gerard Bulter at an award show and posed for a few pictures. So the critics and the tabloids turn that into a Brangelina Triangle story (That makes a lot of money for them) followed by a “She’s getting heavier” and having a make out session in the kitchen that conveniently, no one got a picture of despite all of the anonymous ‘witnesses.’
She’s denied her involvement with Gerard Butler a thousand times already. And continues to do so. People write about her because she makes money for them. They wash their hands of any involvement and accuse her of being responsible for the fact that they can’t stop writing about her. Hating on Aniston is an industry at this point. A NINE minute segment about her on CNN. CNN, not “Entertainment Tonight.”

Cheyenne, if you are a young woman with plenty of time left on your biological clock and what-not, that might explain a bit of it, I suppose. Right, Jennifer was just dating Vince Vaughn for the publicity. That’s why she dated him for over a year. How do they explain John Mayer — she didn’t have any movies coming out when she started dating him. Actually, she’s made a lot of movies in the past couple of years, and has not had a relationship for several of them.

Hollywood is completely about PR and publicity for the films. While people are busy bitching about her and Angie’s, um, apparently desperate attempts at stardom, they are unknowingly giving them endless rounds of free buzz for their movies! If all this non-story shit about Butler is already generating so much talk, I think it’s fair to say that movie will do enormously well come march. Kinda like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which wasn’t really loved by most critics, but the hype of the personal drama behind it sent audiences to their seats. It’s brilliant marketing. Not shady scheming.
