Kate Gosselin and her busted weave were spotted out clubbing in New York. Kate was accompanied by her hairstylist, Ted Gibson, who claimed that the cheap-looking extensions he put in to fix Kate’s mullet would have retailed around $7,000. Along with the scoring the cover of People for Kate “new look” Gosselin, Gibson is showing off his latest work while out with Kate. I guess it’s a win-win situation for the mother of eight, who gets her styling comped in exchanged for free advertising, and the hairdresser. Kate’s kids were either home with their dad or with the nanny while Kate strutted her stuff in the big city:
Kate Gosselin obviously needs a little time for herself. The single mother of eight, who is trying to move on with her life since her very public divorce from Jon Gosselin in December, took a little trip to NYC to go clubbing with her new BFF and hairstylist Ted Gibson!
It’s great that Kate is getting out and enjoying life — and her six little ones didn’t seem to be too distraught that their mommy was away for the weekend. Kate’s sextuplets, Alexa, Joel, Hannah, Aiden, Leah, and Collin, were spotted all bundled up and playing in the Pennsylvania snow over the weekend!
Sources say Kate was at Butter nightclub in NYC on Friday night … and while her babies were home keeping warm in the winter snow, she was looking hot!

Kate has to do something while her husband has the kids for the weekend. Why not work it with her newly redone hair in New York? Her figure looks great but there’s something so “mommy’s night out” about her outfit. You don’t pair a long straight cardigan with a short skirt. It looks like Kate’s hairdresser isn’t paying much attention to anything but her choppy, cheap hair.
Kate’s new show with TLC is moving forward. The as-of-yet untitled project will be centered around Kate but the details are unclear. Kate’s ex husband, Jon Gosselin, has given the go-ahead to TLC to film their children again if only TLC drops a lawsuit against him. Gosselin is said to be too broke to continue defending himself against the breach of contract claim.

Ha ha, yes, the outfit is a little “mommie’s night out”. What’s not so funny is it’s probably similar to what I’d pick.
The side photo really makes the hair look wig-like. But I think she’s looking alright with the length. Maybe one day she’ll grow out her own hair and it’ll look more natural.

I can’t say I like the hair. The outfit makes me laugh. I think it’s cute, for a lunch, or shopping. It’s obvious she’s not accustomed to going to night clubs.

So what? Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson go out with their hair stylists all the time. Kate deserves one night of fun to every 365 nights Jon has.
And Monkey, ITA with you. When my hubby and I saw clips of J & K + 8 on The Soup, we were like, “Wow, what a beast.” But Jon’s actions since last February have been totally hateful, not only to Kate but to the children as well. He’s a passive-aggressive mess who needed his wife to tell him to remember to breath, let alone do anything around the house or with the children!

I don’t get it. Ted Gibson is the current hairstylist on What Not to Wear, and, in general, I’ve liked the way he’s styled the participants’ hair. I don’t understand how he managed to drop the ball with Kate. I agree with Feebee; I hope Kate lets her own hair grow out.
