Jennifer Garner was on David Letterman promoting her new film Valentine’s Day last and she told a kind of disturbing story of interspecies love. She said that she was once doing research for a role in which she was interacting with dolphins and that she had the surprising experience of having a male dolphin pleasure himself with her foot. If it was any other animal other than a dolphin, do you think she would have recounted this story? It’s already pretty gross to heard this about a dolphin, but you can imagine if it was a dog?

Back when Jennifer Garner was researching a role of a dolphin who turns into a girl on ‘Fantasy Island,’ she made a too-close connection with a dolphin.

“I had my feet dangling in the water,” she told David Letterman Tuesday night. “And the dolphin came and swam right over my foot. I thought, ‘That was so cool!'”

The dolphin started swimming around her leg faster and faster until something happened.

“I said to the trainer, ‘I think the dolphin just peed,'” she said. “He said, ‘No, ma’am, no.'”

I’ve heard of parrots doing this on people’s hands, and I once had a dog rubbing up against my foot when I wasn’t paying attention. I caught the mangy animal in plenty of time, but it still creeps me out to think about it. Yes this is an interesting, albeit very skeevy, story and will get Garner press for this Love Actually knock off, but it was so over-the-top the way she told it on Letterman. She was trying too hard and the whole scenario is not something worth repeating.

I also saw Garner on Regis and Kelly this morning and I really wondered if she was on something she was so damn peppy. Maybe she had too much coffee and that was what was making her manic. There’s definitely something different about her lately though. What’s going on with her? She lost a lost of weight and now she’s super peppy. I’m just saying.
