Did you know Mary-Kate Olsen was dating some dude named Nate Lowman? Yeah, neither did I. I knew that one of them was dating Justin Bartha, but I never could remember which one. So I guess it’s Ashley, and MK was dating Nate. Well, not anymore! Us Weekly reports that MK is now single, and that they broke up “a while” ago. Fascinating!
Mary-Kate Olsen is back on the market.
The actress-design mogul, 23, has split from boyfriend Nate Lowman, UsMagazine.com has confirmed.
Asked if she and Lowman are still an item, her rep tells Us, “No, they are not. It’s been a while.”
Olsen and Lowman began dating in 2008 after meeting through mutual friends.
Last year, her rep told Us that tabloid rumors that the two are engaged were “untrue.”
Olsen is currently attending shows at London Fashion Week.

I don’t mind saying that this Nate guy looks like a hipster douche. Sure, he could be a real sweetheart, but he doesn’t look like anything special. Anyway, he’s some kind of New York artist (here’s a piece Interview Magazine did with him). Can I say that MK could do much better? Sure, she walks around looking corpsey, but she’s a successful designer and she’s pretty and she’s got tons of money. Why not go for George Clooney or something?

Yikes you guys are terrible. Nate Lowman? One of the most successful contemporary artists of his age. Regardless of what yo think of his work, the guy’s an art star. I like that you got “kind of hippish, a loner…” from a single snapshot. Why do I even bother coming to such a poorly researched and written gossip site?
