Rihanna is finally doing her hair in a different way, after maintaining some version of a half-shaved, futuristic bouffant look for several months. Can I just say that I never had a problem with the bouffant? I actually thought it complimented the shape of her face. Anyway, this is Rihanna’s new hair, as seen when she was signing autographs in Berlin yesterday. It looks like Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s bowl cut, right? Like, is Life & Style going to run a cover story about Rihanna having confused sexuality?
So, I dislike this hair a lot. It doesn’t compliment her face, the color is fug, and the black streaks are dumb. She’s gone from looking weirdly fashionable to looking like a kid whose mom attacked her with a Flowbee. Meh. Bring back the bouffant!

Oh my your Flowbee reference just made my day! My step dad is obsessed with Flowbees. I should finally break down and get him one for Christmas but I love my little siblings too much.
I don’t think it’s a whole new ‘do. You can see the shaved sides of her head peeking through. I think she just straightened what was already there and combed it differently, maybe tweaked the colour a bit.
I don’t mind it, actually. It’s more “normal” than anything she’s done.
The black streaks are hideous, though.

Interesting the RiRi’s hair style’s get more pub than her “music”; but when you’re a studio creation with a squeaky ten-year-old’s voice, no stage presence or act, and your edginess is contrived, hey, lets talk hair since her music has about the depth of her eye shadow.
She also performed with that hair on the German Echo Award Show today. She looked cute. But these robots on stage with her were really creepy!
She is a really pretty girl but the way is chooses to do her hair makes her look horrible. I wish she would go back to having long straight hair that looked the best.

She has had hair like this for the past couple months now. It’s sometimes been parted in different places. The only reason people call it that now is because of some stupid, sexist Life and Style article.
