The note on INF reads: “With filming for the movie ‘The Tourist’ delayed due to strike action across Italy, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their two twins, Vivienne and Knox, visit the Gritti Palace Hotel in Venice, Italy.” So I guess Angelina had the day off so she and Brad took the twins sight-seeing. And the paparazzi got some really tight close-ups of twins Knox and Vivienne, and they are walking! Why is this shocking to me? I have no idea. I mean, they’re old enough at 18 months, but I’ve just never seen their little feet hit the ground. Sidenote: I spy silkies!
They’ve gotten so big you can actually see the little twinge of personality in them, like when we saw a then 1-year-old Zahara throw the paparazzi a “WTF, douche?” look for the first time. Just judging them solely by the photos, I’d say that Vivienne isn’t going to be a little tomboy like Shiloh. I think she’s going to be more like Zahara, a little girly-girl.
As for Knox? Look at his hardcore little face! He looks so much like his dad, he’s even dressed in a little Inglourious Basterds-era leather jacket. Knox has so much style!

They don’t look like they are having fun because there is a ton of chaos around them as they try to come and go from their hotel.. what 18 month old wouldn’t be a little (or alot!) scared of all of those cameras.. I think they seem amazingly calm. They are already used to the cameras.. and hate it, just like the rest of the kids.. Princess Z is certainly giving lessons!!! I lOVE IT!

I will defend to the death Shiloh’s right to choose her own outfits and will fight any butthead who wants to project sexual orientation onto tiny children. That said, I don’t think that 18 mos is an age where children care that much about what they wear. While Knox and Viv’s outfits are adorable, I think it’s a bit soon to define their personalities by their wardrobes. But, dang, they are cuties.

They really are cute, but I gotta say I think that Shiloh, Viv, and Knox really look most like their maternal grandfather, chubby cheeks and big lips just like Voight. I love that they carry their little blankets, I have a Great Dane that does the same thing he carries his puppy blanket everywhere it is just too cute, granted his blanket is muddy, covered in drool, dog hair, dust bunnies and stinks to high heaven, but still really quite cute.

Hey, I also refer to little children as kittens, bugs, sprogs, and various other animal-related words. My sister’s gang, for instance, I regularly refer to as “a brood”, because they are many. One of my sets of cousins is collectively known as “the chickens”. I don’t think Melanie is denigrating or insulting the kids (or their parents) by using the word spawn. She is using it a lot, but that’s because it’s hilarious how offended some people are by it, particularly as she ISN’T saying anything negative about the babes or the Brange.

I will respectfully disagree, at least in the case of this site. While people here most certainly disagree with each other on subjects and debates even arguements do break out often, for the most part people here are generally respectful and polite when voicing their opinions, there are of course exceptions to the rule but those will happen on any site be it for celeb gossip or not.
That is why I like this site, the people who comment here are thoughtful, funny, bright, witty and above all usually very kind even if they disagree with you. Hell we are all ‘bitchy’ in our gossip comments about a bunch of actors who spend their days patting themselves on the backs, but we are mostly cool with each other. After having read some of the god awful garbage written on sites like Perez Hilton etc. this place is a welcome refuge from angsty teenagers and or emotionally stunted adults with an axe to grind with ANYONE over anything.

Why don’t they take all the kids out at one time, asked by meme. Well I’m sure it has to do with safety first and foremost. The older kids are being tutored or in school, the little kids could have been napping. Giving each and every child time out with one or both parents is wonderful. All the kids are included in outings at one time or another. Everyone is happy and all feel equally loved.

I have a 16-month old, and he LOVES to go out and about, checking out the world. I’d say sightseeing is probably his favorite thing to do right now. Anything to get out of the house and experience the world. I think it’s great these parents are trying to give their kids as normal a life as their careers allow.

Both Zahara and Shiloh have pierced ears. You need only look at earlier pictures. They both wore earrings at one point. Perhaps now that they are older and more active, their parents have chosen to not put rings in their ears.

It’s stupid to say that the kids are miserable because they aren’t smiling. It doesn’t even look like they are doing anything but standing or getting in a boat. First of all, I have to add to the “OMG, they are just too cute” parade of comments – because the are!
Regarding some of the comments about leaving the others behind, well, actually, when you have alot of kids, it is a great parenting idea to do some things with just 2-3 or even just 1 sometimes! The key is to make sure everyone gets their “special time” with Mom and Dad…and that the ones who are left at home (or wherever) have something fun going on. I would expect that to be the case given this couple’s resources!

@Thunder: Look at their mamma’s forehead. She has (what a previous poster used to call) a ‘pumpkin head’. So does her father. They have large heads in general – it’s a trait many movie stars have. Clintwood is another example. Large head and features make them stand out from the crowd which is a useful tool as an actor. I am sure these kids will grow into their high foreheads.

OMG.. over 100 comments. and all they did was go out to lunch and take the twins.
Noting different or unusual about that. but every step they make is anaylized. What are the kids wearing, are they smiling, laughing, what color cloths do they have on. Did they get a hair cut or is their hair growing. will Brad shave or not. Why is he wearing jeans, why is he not wearing jeans. Who do the twins look like, why are they walking, why are they not walking. Why is brad carrying Viv and not Knox.. why is Angie carrying Knox and not Viv. Do the twins look like Shiloh, Why are they together, why are they not together.. and a million other questions and observtions.
And people love to say how they don’t like them, or that they are tired of seeing them. Over 100 comments? yeah right..

Well if Depp brought his kids to Venice maybe there would be pics. Brad and Angie and their kids always travel together on film sets . Different strokes for different folks.

i agree that Viv has a weird shaped head, you could really see it in the pictures from the other day when people were calling them “mouth-breathers” which was terrible, they looked like they had a bad cold or something. meanies. but yeah, i agree, she has a weirdly shaped head/face/whatever. on the other hand i think Mr.Knox is just completely adorable, what a gorgeous little baby. Viv has the exact same little pointed end on her nose as her mom, you can see it int he picture of them together
i’m sure she’ll grow into her looks. Knox on the other hand is perfect.

and why do they have Viv in a jacket that looks like it is about 4sizes too big…. seriously??? isn’t she wearing the EXACT SAME OUTFIT that zahara wore the day before or something, the pictures on another site if they aren’t on this one, it’s the photos of when they were all out together (minus the twins of course) walking through the park. Zahara is wearing a black tweed coat and a white hat, jsut like it….. why would they be putting their 18mnth old in their 5yr old sister’s coat??? you cant tell me that’s not Z’s coat, look at how ridiculously big it is on her!!!! why do they do that, they did it with Shiloh when she was little with her brother’s clothes. she would wear the same grey cords that Pax wore all the time…weird. they are one cooky family

Its not the same coat if it was it would be longer on the baby. an actually Zahara would wear her brothers hand me downs when she was little moreso than Shiloh
