Octomom was pretty vague about her financial plans for the future when the ladies on The View questioned her repeatedly about it. When she wasn’t cackling maniacally she was using psychobabble to justify her insane lifestyle, claiming she was in “denial” and thought she was just going to have one more baby this last time and “I could earn enough money as a counselor to take care of them [all seven, if it was just one more].”
TMZ reports that, just like the last home Suleman shared with her parents, her latest home could be foreclosed. She’s behind on her mortgage payments and failed to make an agreed-on $450,000 balloon payment. From what I understand, balloon payments are negotiated in order to secure lower monthly mortgage payments. Some homeowners have been scammed by fine print balloon payment terms in contracts. In this case, given Suleman’s history of bankruptcy and lying and scamming, we can probably assume she knew about it and failed to make the payment.
Octomom Nadya Suleman and her 14 kids may become homeless … because she’s fallen behind on mortgage payments to the tune of more than $450,000 … this according to the person who holds the note on the property.
Octomom bought the La Habra, CA house in March, 2009. The seller, Amer Haddadin, transferred title to Octo’s dad. In return, Octo and her dad were required to make monthly payments of $4,139 for one year. On March 10, 2010, a balloon payment of $450,000 was due.
A rep for Amer tells TMZ Octo hasn’t paid the $450,000. And, he says, she didn’t make the last $4,139 payment. He also says, she’s been late on three other recent monthly payments. Amer says he “tried to handle this in a gentlemanly way” but unfortunately it’s come to this.
Amer’s rep says he intends to initiate foreclosure proceedings against Octomom.

I feel sorry for this woman’s 14 kids, but they’re already majorly screwed with that whack job as their primary caretaker. Hopefully she’ll keep some of the nannies around for continuity. Hey, if Octomom needs some cash I’m sure Vivid would make good on their promise to pay her a million bucks to shoot an adult film. It would pay for the home and give her enough left over to keep her staff - if she doesn’t blow it all within a couple of months. Barring that, she can always go back to stripping.

She made many statements on tape that the house was bought with her money, but now we find it’s titled to her dad. Nadya’s car is even in her mom’s name. Welfare queens know how to hide assets to still collect govt money, huh?

I’m guessing either A) she thought she’d make enough being a ‘celebrity’ in the last year to make that balloon payment. Or B) she just didn’t care about what was going to happen a year down the road. Hmmm. I choose B. No worries, though. I’m sure someone is going to sweep in and save her from herself yet again. The problem is, someone needs to sweep in and save her kids.

I hope she does lose her home. She needs to learn to plan ahead, and live within her means, like the rest of us. Maybe this is what needs to happen to get the children taken away and properly cared for by someone who’s not a psycho.

To the poor sucker out there who is going to decide to be a “good Samaritan” and pay Octo-Mooch’s mortgage for her, here is a better idea….please give your money to JAYCEE DUGARD instead. She deserves good will alot more than the leech on society that is Suleman. Instead of helping a POS that put herself in this situation, help a mother who had her life stolen and is trying to get it back. Think about it.

I’m not surprised. Maybe if she quit shopping and having all those mani/pedis, she could afford to pay her bills. I hope for her sake she becomes homeless–it’s nothing less than SHE deserves, but I feel so sorry for all those children. -

Ha ha aha ha! Og My God! This was so expected and yet still so funny! We all knew this was going to happen. Did she honestly think she could shit on the hand that feeds her by back talking the general public then turn around and hold out her hand for more ‘donations’ for her kids? What an idiot.
And based on my personal experiences in the projects I used to live in, balloon payments never work. I cant tell you all the countless times welfare queens would get new boyfriends to move into their units with them and get ‘fancy’ new furniture from Rent-a-Center and as soon as the guy left it all got repo’d!

I’m really confused.
When she got kicked out of her parents’ rental place, I thought some delusional bleeding heart gave her the house and donated a bunch of money to pay for nanny and security services for a period of time and someone else donated a minivan or two plus a bunch of car seats and strollers.
I know she gets some sort of disability payments for at least a couple of her kids who have fairly severe autism that she seems to ignore and she probably got paid for those bikini (barf) pics she took, but I can’t imagine what other income she has.
Maybe things are actually looking up for these poor kids.

Well she should accept to do a reality show on TLC, it has worked for all the other families with multiple kids so why not her? Besides, I think people would love to see this Angelina wannabe in all her crazy lying bitchiness! If only to see how she deals with her kids and issues.

snowball - Nadya was living in her mom’s house that was foreclosed on too (see a pattern here?). Her dad worked out a lease to own deal on this current house, but Octo has failed to keep her end of the deal. She was shifty though..it was HER money for the downpayment and the house asset went in her dad’s name. (Remember he told Oprah he only had $100 saved and needd help). No assets on paper = free govt money.
She DID get lots of free upgrades to the house and was offered free wrap around care for ALL 14 of her kids. BUT, Octo fired them a week or so after all her kids were home from the hospital. She thought they were keeping her from her kids (truth is - they were mandated reporters and HAD to report to CPS anything they saw which endangered the kids). The babysitters she has now probably didn’t mind signing a confidentiality agreement whereas the Angels in Waiting would not!
Lots of details to this story, but it all points to a scammer that has just been caught. -

It would be a shame if those 14 kids would have to be separated and have go to different foster homes.I’m sure there must be some channel interested in making a reality show with Octomom. There’s worst shows out there and people still watch so at least this would help her out.

I find every thread (and comments) about her very disturbing. The woman is nuts and like every mentally unstable person she needs help. Plain and simple.
She doesn’t need cameras to follow her, she doesn’t need talk shows, she doesn’t need freaks circus.

Solveig, you are right. These celebutards have an addiction to attention and it should not be pandered to. These children need the attention of loving families. One crazy woman cannot give the attention these children so desperately need; children need nurturing and individual attention. This is the same malfunction with the duggar family, but at least these little duggar kids have some older kids to raise them, right or wrong, whereas Octo’s children are all so close in age. My heart and prayers goes out to these little innocent little ones who don’t deserve a crazy mother.

Totally agree with some of the other comments made, the lady needs help for the sake of her kids. By the way where are the kids when she is out and about on the town all the time?. The house is most likely being foreclosed because she spent all the money on PLASTIC SURGERY!!!, hence why she is looking like cher. Clearly a woman who is only in it for the fame and fortune it has brought her with the children being an unfortunate after birth. There is no doubt that she would love them in her own way, however, very unlikely that she is capable of giving them a stable homelife being she is mentally unstable herself, even her own flesh and blood has said so. I believe her parents are doing all the child raising for her!

While I totally am for personal choices, she is one of the few that really should be forcefully put into serious mental health care, for the sake of those kids. She seems (IMHO only) just flat out wack-a-doo and while I do not question her love for her children, that is not a healthy environment for children to be raised.

I hope that she isn’t destitute… or perhaps she just needs to find a normal home like the rest of us… a 3 bedroom one and put all the kids in triple bunks or something like the navy does it?
my dad has 6 siblings and when he grew up they had a two bedroom house. yes just two bedrooms. his parents had one and he and his 5 siblings shared the other. perhaps they just need to economise.
she chose to have the children now put up with the consequences.
