Chase Infiniti was arguably snubbed for an Oscar nomination, but I loved that she kept showing up to award shows and having a blast. She got on stage twice at the Oscars, first as a presenter and then when One Battle After Another won Best Picture. I really hope OBAA and this awards season was her “a star is born” moment, because she’s amazing. I wouldn’t have chosen this custom Louis Vuitton gown for her, but it suits her and you could tell that she felt amazing in it. It’s big and girly and dramatic and it looked amazing on stage. She’s so beautiful too, so it is that thing where she would make a burlap sack look glam.
I feel so bad saying this about Emma Stone because I think so highly of her as an actress, but man, Emma’s face is looking crazy these days. Last night on Twitter, I said I thought it was a brow lift but many people said no, it was a full facelift. I don’t know. Her Louis Vuitton dress was such a nothingburger – the fashion commentators said she’s been going some ‘90s minimalism for this awards season, but I think it’s more like Louis Vuitton has just been giving her some really cheap-looking pieces.
Wunmi Mosaku also wore Louis Vuitton, a custom look because she’s so far along into her pregnancy. LV killed it here – an amazing color, amazing design, and she just looked glowing and gorgeous. I was disappointed that she didn’t win, but I was rooting for her or Amy Madigan.
Renate Reinsve’s Louis Vuitton was controversial – it was all one piece of fabric, and many of the fashion people were raving about it, but I really disliked this. It’s just an elevated tube dress, and it’s more of a party dress than an Oscar dress. The color is nice though.

The commentary by the broadcasters on her hair (they said her hair looked undone) was racist and in 2026 very ignorant. I expect better. She looked amazing

She was gorgeous and her look was perfect. I would hope that the nomination and the involvement in a multi-Oscar winning film will get her lead roles that will put in line for best actress. I kinda think the Oscars are outdated, a casualty of streaming, but I still get really excited to see actual progress and representation in who gets nominated and who wins.

I hated Emma’s dress too. it looks like something a 12 year old would wear. unflattering.
Renate almost had a major wardrobe malfunction when she came up on stage, though, that dress almost came completely off. She was pulling at it and holding it up the whole time she was up there.
I really hope the GFY team highlights Wunmi’s styling for award season because she’s looked radiant and perfectly-calibrated for each luncheon, appearance, and award show that she attended. She’s stood out not just because of her pregnancy (which was treated as an accessory and not something to hide) and joyful-yet-sophisticated bright colors that enhance her glow. The color of her Oscar gown is perfect – not emerald, not aqua-teal, but a beautiful peacock color that shimmered like peacock feathers due to the sequins. I am not mad that Amy Madigan won but I wanted Wunmi to win because I could not stop thinking about her character after seeing Sinners.
Wunmi was a delight and the color of her dress was perfect. I read that Emma Stone’s dress took 600 hours to make. How is that minimalist it’s ridiculous and IMO it wasn’t worth the effort. It would have helped to have a necklace. I loved her hair though. If she’s starting to get facelifts at her age, she won’t have any skin left by the time she’s 50.
600 hours? If that’s true then I’d call it a phenomenal waste of effort! Good grief.
Even in a Jane Austen remake I’d be underwhelmed.
It was neither. She had a threadlift. And she has changed her eyebrow shape a bit. She had her undereyes done over a year ago.
Whatever it was, it looks so weird.
I love Emma but I think the inflated lips are really sending her face into another dimension. The lift would look better with normal lips, I think. They’re just such a dead giveaway that she’s enhanced. I hope it settles soon!
All these looks are great except Emma who’s is fine but just really looks like she’s just phoning it in.
Chase’s look was one of my favourites. On somebody else the dress could have looked really fussy but with her youth and styling it was fresh and fun
