Rep. Ro Khanna wants King Charles to meet with Epstein victims during his state visit

This week, the White House formally announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla will make a state visit to the US. The White House press corps immediately started acting like the Clampetts, and they declared that “King Charles II will come to DC!” King Charles II died in 1685, and this guy is Charles III. We know the dates for Charles’s visit too – he’ll visit during the week of April 27, and he’ll also address Congress. It will be the first time a British royal addressed Congress since Queen Elizabeth II did it in 1991. I believe the White House announced it right now to shut down speculation that Keir Starmer would pull the visit over everything Donald Trump is doing and saying. Timing-wise, it’s also interesting because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely be back in Montecito following their Australian trip. Something to keep your eye on.

Well, beyond the unhinged-Trump of it all, there’s another big concern about Charles’s state visit: the fact that his brother is all over the Epstein Files, and Charles is arguably sheltering Prince Andrew from testifying in the US or being criminally charged here in the US. Congressman Ro Khanna is making some noise about requesting that King Charles meet with Jeffrey Epstein’s victims while he’s in the US.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., tells Fox News he wants King Charles to meet with Jeffrey Epstein’s victims and others when he comes to Capitol Hill next month to deliver a speech before a joint meeting of Congress. British authorities arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew and the brother of King Charles, in connection with an inquiry into the Epstein matter.

Khanna says King Charles could shed light on what the royal family knew about Andrew or Epstein. Khanna tells Fox he wants the King to meet with victims, then with him and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and the House Oversight Committee.

Khanna stressed that he would request Charles to appear. Fox pressed Khanna on whether he would ask that the King be subpoenaed, but Khanna was not ready to go there yet.

One Oversight Committee source tells Fox that this request is “very delicate” and they risk “an international incident” by asking King Charles to meet with the committee.

House Speaker Mike Johnson called the Democrat’s request “comical.”

“He’s the king of England and the head of state, he’s not going to submit to Ro Khanna’s political games and that committee,” Johnson told Fox. “The King of England has nothing to do with Epstein. That is a joke, and it is offensive for him to suggest that.”

[From Fox News via Yahoo]

“The King of England has nothing to do with Epstein. That is a joke, and it is offensive for him to suggest that.” Charles literally signed off on Andrew’s settlement to Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked BY Jeffrey Epstein TO Prince Andrew. Not only did Charles sign off on the multi-million dollar settlement, there’s a growing body of evidence that Charles contributed cash to the settlement. Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were also frequent visitors to royal estates, including Windsor Castle, Balmoral and Buckingham Palace. There’s a reason why British people are heckling the f–k out of Charles and asking him what he knew about Andrew and Epstein – it’s because Charles has NEVER answered those questions about what he knew and when. Anyway, I absolutely hope that Rep. Khanna makes this into a whole big, messy thing.

Go Rep. Ro Khanna! Please inflict maximum embarrassment and shame and pain on all parties to this official visit, because they’ve all done quite a lot to deserve it!

  2. Amy Bee says:

I suspect that this visit is not going to go as smoothly as both White House and Palace would like.

    • Jais says:

      Agree. It’s gonna look bad.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

I honestly think there’s at least half a chance that Chuck will use his cancer dx last minute as an excuse not to visit the US.

Camilla won’t be fussed, because she prefers the wine at Versailles.

  3. JayBlue says:

Charles knowingly and willingly inflicted massive damage on all of epsteins victims/survivors by both ignoring and then protecting andrew. He hasn’t the stomach to face anything, let alone the consequences of his family’s action.

    • Chrissy says:

I’d love to see tons of protestors wherever he goes on this trip! Unfortunately, I doubt it will happen though.

      • GTWiecz says:

Oh boy, I hope victims and supporters will be wherever Charles and Camilla go with signs.

  4. aquarius64 says:

If Rep. Kanna or other representatives or senators get the Epstein victims as GUESTS of Charles’ address to Congress the US media will do a splitscreen of Charles and the Epstein victims. If Speaker Johnson and Senate Majority Leader gets the victims barred from the Capitol they will set up camp elsewhere and the wotld press will follow them. The Epstein files are not going away. The visit will be bad for Charles and Trump. The GOP too in the midterms.

  5. Me at home says:

So the Epstein victims would probably have to go to Blair House, which is across the street from Lafayette Park and the White House. (I’ve actually been in meetings with a foreign HoS at Blair House, as part of the USG team.) No way the White House is going to open up Blair House to Epstein victims.

And Charles’ team probably isn’t going to agree to a meeting in some Capitol building side room. Because why would they?

Go Ro, but this is probably never going to happen.

  6. Brassy Rebel says:

“The King of England has nothing to do with Epstein.” Every time Mike Johnson opens his mouth he puts his foot in it. Sure, Charles should meet with survivors and Congress too. But there’s no reason to focus solely on the King of England when the wanna be king here in America still hasn’t been deposed, much less met with survivors.

    • Hypocrisy says:

The king of England has EVERYTHING to do with Epstein because they all knew what AMW was raping trafficked women and children decades ago especially with AMW who had a Royal protection security team guarding the doors while he committed these crimes and none of them protected the victims.. if the rpo knew so did the queen, Chuck and Peggy also a lot of people in law enforcement government knew but they all chose to ignore and cover it up. The 🍊 💩 🫟 should be held accountable also, but our DOJ did nothing but store the evidence it’s all sick.

  7. Jais says:

Keep it messy even though there’s no way in the world Charles would ever do such a thing. But yeah keep it messy and in the conversation.

  8. Starry Owl says:

I cannot imagine a meeting between the king and some of the trafficking victims would be anything but further trauma for the victims.

Charles expects to be treated like the king of an empire / commonwealth.

Not like the enabling brother of a rapist.

I cannot imagine that he wouldn’t expect them to form a greeting line and just say hello. Anything else is beyond him.

I’m sure he’s heard the stories and the testimony of many people who have lived through horrific tragedies- but I can’t imagine that he doesn’t offer seemingly authentic but ultimately empty words of support or empathy.

But he won’t even apologize on behalf of the previous leaders of Britain or the nation for its part in centuries of colonialism and enslavement. Because he’s worried someone somewhere might want some of his beautiful beautiful money and an apology might make them
have a legal advantage to a portion of his money. And that can never happen.

  9. Charlotte says:

This will never happen. It’s a very safe request/demand/whatever because nothing will come of it and it looks good in the press. Win for Ro but ultimately meaningless for anyone hoping for something concrete.

The UK and Europe doesn’t take the US or the US politicians seriously on the Epstein Files because they aren’t dealing with any of their own (like Trump). So a request like this – it’s just political grandstanding.

  10. Anne Maria says:

This visit should be cancelled. It’s ludicrous that the king is going after trump has insulted the country and threatened Canada – where Chas is head of state – multiple times. Have any of the trumps – dad, kids, Melania – met the victims? I think that’s a big fat no. Bondi wouldn’t turn around and look at them when they were in the same room. Not sure why other country’s leaders should do what the USA leaders haven’t. Though perhaps it would show a bit of humanity, which the victims have been denied so far. But I’d want justice too. No sign of that happening in the echelons of the US government.

    What a fantastic idea!

  12. Shoegirl77 says:

So, I’ve just raced straight to the comments here because as much as I’ve been reading posts and threads here, it’s the first time I’ve seen the header pic of Chuckles and I just think that maybe getting C2 out of his grave might be a good idea to make C3 look slightly more alive. The UK is so close to another terrible King Billy.

  13. heygingersnaps says:

The header photo of chuckles is legit frightening! Stuff of nightmares.
May Chuckles, his family and their cohorts get back what they put in this world.
