After all that Tiger did to Elin, and all that’s come out about his affairs, can you blame her for being upset at the stupid ass Nike commercial featuring Tiger looking all cowed as his deceased dad gives him a lecture? It’s like all of Tiger’s massive, disgusting indiscretions can be chalked up to some kid acting out and getting scolded by a parent. What’s more is that they’re using the scandal to sell products.
People Magazine, which has had insider information in the Tiger scandal in the past, claims that Elin Woods was “violently angry” when she saw that commercial. That prompted her to take off alone out of Florida “for a destination unknown.” People previously claimed that Elin left to go visit her sick mom in a US hospital. Did that happen or was the truth that she just need to get the hell out after all she’s dealt with? What’s more is that Elin is understandably completely over Tiger, she’s said to have gone numb and to be “moving on.” She hasn’t quite filed for divorce yet, though, or of course we’d be hearing about it:

So far, though, it’s only been talk among friends. No legal papers have been filed, and it hasn’t even been confirmed that she’s retained a divorce attorney.
Still, another friend says Nordegren has run out of patience with Woods, taking offense with his return to golf – she had been led to believe he was going to take more time off. (On Wednesday morning it was reported that Woods has sent his entry to the U.S. Open, to be held June 17-20 at Pebble Beach, Calif.)
At home in Florida while Woods competed in Georgia, Nordegren didn’t watch a broadcast of the tournament, using the TV instead for movies and videos for the children.
“She’s so far beyond hurt now. If she were angry or if she hated him, they might still have a chance to work it out. But she’s beyond that. She’s numb. She just doesn’t care anymore. She’s like, ‘Whatever.’ Elin’s not the type to get all weepy or have pity parties for herself. She mourned the loss of this marriage, and now she’s moving on. It’s the only thing she can do.”

What can you do with a guy like Tiger? There’s so much irrefutable evidence that he banged women basically every chance he had, that he didn’t use condoms, and that he only showed remorse when he was completely busted. It’s not like you can trust someone like that ever again. You can suck it up and live with it, trying to work it out if you’re willing to, or get out. Either way, it’s a really difficult decision and one that comes with drawbacks on both sides.
TMZ reports that the home that Elin purchased on a private island in Sweden is currently undergoing renovations, which may be evidence that she’s ready to get the hell out. Pack your stuff, Elin!

I don’t get Elin. The story from Vanity Fair says she was a model but decided to pursue her studies in psychology at the university and turned down other modeling jobs. Yet, she ended up a nanny for very rick golfers. Who would turn down a modeling job to allegedly focus on your studies only to end up a nanny? And she made Tiger pursue her for months on end. I guess she thought her prudent ways were enough to keep him mystified for ever. Not even close. They are both idiots.
Personally, I think she’s earned every penny she can get. But there won’t be any battle over it. The pre-nup is dead; all she has to do is threaten to subpeona all his skanks to testify in open court and Tiger will roll over like the dog he is.
I somehow doubt that Elin would be allowed to take the children and reside in Sweden. It is incredibly difficult for divorced parents to take children and move away–usually have to get the permission of the ex-spouse and the court. However, given how rich they are, maybe flying the kids across the Atlantic every other week for their time with Tiger wouldn’t be an issue so therefore her moving to Sweden wouldn’t be an issue.

She helped him earn a great portion of that cash..He knows this which is why he added more money to the pre-nup and lessened the amount of time to be married. 20 million for 10 years became 75 million for 7.

That’s what smart women do. They don’t give away the cow for free. They expect, you know something called courtship.
However even with the longest courtship love is still a gamble. She thought she knew him and trusted him so she rolled the dice and ended up screwed. It happens.
But holding off BEFORE getting married helps more than it harms because you have more time to determine the character of a man before getting too attached. The other way around, the man holds all the cards and you ignore red flags because you’re “in-love”.

Since Tiger didn’t use protection, there’s no telling what future medical expenses will be for Elin and the children. My father cheated on my mother without using protection, and the ensuing medical treatment was both horrific and expensive. Whatever he gave her was internal, pre-cancerous, and required more than one laser surgery and post-treatment regiment. I won’t get into the gory details, but ladies, I’m sure you can only imagine how awful it was. Suffice to say it’s the reason I didn’t speak to my father for upwards of 10 years.
I just had a weird thought: what if this were still the 1990s and Princess Diana found Prince Charles had all these skanks and Nazi ho-s coming out of the woodwork? She would’ve committed suicide, right? At least Elin and Sandra are stronger individuals, but, you know what I mean about Princess Di, it would have been a world crisis.

Elin may or may not have known about the affairs. That’s really besides the point. People say she stayed for the money, she would have gotten millions the first time she found out about it and left him. However, she did not. Instead, she stayed to try to keep her family together. After marrying Tiger, she didn’t go around trying to get a bunch of contracts to make a name for herself, she stayed home to take care of her children. After finding out about the affairs, she tried to keep it together, but sometimes, hit a person a few too many times and they snap. This is one of those instances. She deserves everything she can get out of him since he does not comprehend, in the slightest, what love, honor and faithfulness means.
