I sort of feel bad for Heather, she seems like she’s had a rough time since her marriage ended, but at the same time, I can’t feel bad for someone who has now likely TWICE DUI’d. If you want to wreck yourself at home, that’s your business, but stay off the streets.

the story doesn’t say she was drunk, just that she hit a sign. hopefully she learned from her previous DUI that drinking + driving = no-no.

Maybe I don’t know what the technical jargon is for hit-and-run because it seems that it would’ve been more destruction of public property than anything. If she were drunk driving again, she needs to stay off the roads and get help.
No sympathy from me. Whether she was drunk or tired or simply not paying attention – recklessness can ruin people’s lives. She should get a cab. Everywhere.

In retrospect, she’s always struck me as presenting a too-perfect image of herself. Maybe she’s just private, but in interviews, she never seemed to acknowledge any insecurities or weaknesses. Like when she was asked about dieting and would immediately claim to eat basically whatever she wanted and a lot of red meat.
