Lisa Rinna defends her horrid lips from cyber-attacks

wenn2644322

Lisa Rinna will sometimes do something interesting, but she always f-cks it up somehow. Like when she gave a big interview about Heidi Montag’s big plastic head and body, saying that Heidi’s People Magazine cover was not “something you want to bring in the house and say, ‘Oh, look.’” Because Lisa has two daughters, you see, and she didn’t want them to see someone so plastic… unless it was their mother, I suppose. Of course, instead of standing by her hypocrisy, Lisa quickly backtracked and apologized to Heidi for some reason. Crisis averted! Oh, wait. Heidi still looks like a circus freak. Nevermind.

Anyway, the latest bogus controversy for Lisa is all about Twitter, of course. Sidenote: how did we even have gossip before Twitter? What did we do before celebrities were making asses out of themselves on a daily basis on Twitter? Anyway, some commenter attacked Lisa on her Twitter, writing “Sorry Lisa, but your lips look awful…how on Earth do you think that looks good?” Lisa, of course, got on her high horse about “cyber bullying”. Here’s part of her train of tweets:

I mean… sure, cyber bullying sucks, I get it. And Lisa’s point about “what if you said that to someone younger” et cetera makes sense too. But it just feels like she was the one who was bothered by someone calling her out on her crazy lips, and instead of just saying “f-ck you, Thin Lips,” Lisa decided to make into a “cyber bullying” teachable moment. Eh.

She left herself wide open on that one!

  2. lucy2 says:

I know there is serious bullying that goes on, and can have horrible consequences, but this isn’t it…why didn’t she just ignore that stupid little comment? Clearly whoever sent that to her is a jerk just looking to provoke a reaction – why give in? The bully only wins if you let it get to you.

  3. LindyLou says:

Those lips do look horrible. I wonder if she has ever considered lipo to thin them out a bit? Or is the skin too stretched now and she’d need a lippy tuck too????

Or is that comment considered bullying now? hmmmm

  4. moe says:

Its hard to take anything she says seriously since her lips are very distracting.
I agree about the cyber bullying needing to stop but I dont think a twitter battle of twitidiots is going to change anything.

  5. moe says:

    @LindyLou

she actually paid to have them ballooned out like that.

  6. fizXgirl314 says:

it’s really easy to just say “ignore it” but come onnnn… if someone came up to you and said “you’re one ugly bastard” or some variation thereof… that wouldn’t bother you one bit? Give me a break… I notice most people never practice what they preach…

that being said, her lips do look aweful lol… but why did they come into question anyway?

  7. GatsbyGal says:

Cyber bullying makes me laugh. I can’t believe people have actually killed themselves over strangers’ comments online. Seriously, how hard is it to change your username, go to a different site, or (god forbid!) stay offline for a while and do other things. It’s not like bullying at school, where you HAVE to be there and listen to it and deal with. You can turn off a computer in, like, two seconds.

  8. Naye in VA says:

i could have sworn she did plumping way back when and it was by a crackshot doc and if left them malformed like such. I do believe she still gets them pliumped but becuase of the malformation they look way worse than anyone elses. but shes had it forever like who cares anymore.

  9. Lisa says:

IMO all celebrities leave themselves open for verbal attacks by being on Twitter. “What did we do before celebrities were making asses out of themselves on a daily basis on Twitter?”, so true…..

  10. Bonfire Beach says:

Can you even imagine what she’d look like without those lips? I’ve come to know her for that reason alone. I think she’s look freakier without big ol’ lips. Like one of the commenters above said – she’s had them forever. Do we even care anymore?

    And Twitter – ugh.

  11. Obvious says:

i wouldn’t call that bullying at all. if it went on and on and attacked for for various reasons i could see it. but it wasn’t even mean. It’s a damn good question i’d like to see answered.

  12. hellen says:

I used to work with Lisa’s dad, and I remember seeing her when her lips were normal looking. That was a loooooong time ago.

  13. michellllle says:

As wrong as those lips look, they seem to have improved. Believe it or not they were previously worse, more wrinkled & saggy. Looks like she’s attempted to improve them. Looks like she also has thinned her nose and injected/plumped her cheeks.

  14. Trillion says:

That’s cyber-bullying? Someone compared that to anti-Semitism? Really? Her sense of reality can be seen by her lips AND her reaction to how horrid they look.

  15. Mingo says:

The photo with her mouth opened perfectly in the shape of an O suddenly makes me realize the purpose of her lipoplasties.

  16. Juice in LA says:

I saw an interview about a year ago where she explained that she knew her lips were tragic, and that she would love to have them reduced, but they are collagen and can’t be fixed apparently they are like rock hard too… So I kinda feel bad for her. Here is just another female actress who wanted fuller lips, early on and got bad plastic surgery that she now regrets.

  17. canadianchick says:

Looking at the photo…maybe her husband likes her vacuum hose lips…just sayin.

  18. Sumodo1 says:

Yup. She had plastic surgery on her mouth many, many years ago and unfortunately, she came out looking like her top lip was stapled up, showing the meaty insides of her mouth.

After several years, and efforts to fix it, there it is again, that meaty, nasty upper lip.

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  19. frenchie says:

Bullying is normal : look at kids at school, thats what they do. So it’s an illusion to beleive you can fight bulliying, because it’s part of human nature to favor beautifuler, higher, clever people. Adults work that way, only they don’t tell. There are studies proving good looking people get a better salary and more responsabilities that unatractive one.

Parents have to teach selfconfidence to kids, that’s what really fight bulliying. How do I care if a guy in a street (and it happened to me) would tell me I’m ugly because I don’t smile ? It’s not my problem if he thinks that, I don’t care, I would certainely not see him again anyway.

  20. coconut says:

she’s pleasantly non-gristly for a buff celeb woman in her 40s.

  21. Beck says:

That was a mean comment to make to someone on twitter, come on.

I know she is opening herself up to people by being on twitter but some people are just mean and/or abusive online.

  22. Linda says:

So am I the only one who is pissed that she did not answer the person’s question about her thinking it was good idea to do that to herself? I want an answer.

Typical stuff cyber bullying is wrong blah blah but she just didn’t want to answer the damn question.

  23. nc says:
