Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller talks cellulite

Marisa Miller has a myriad of honors celebrating her beauty – she had the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition last year, is a Victoria’s Secret angel, and was on Maxim’s 2008 Hot List. She has a girl-next-door look, and is as beautiful in a bathing suit as she is on the red carpet. She’s particularly well known for her great abs. Marisa recently revealed her secret to her great body (lots of exercise – big surprise) and her tip for covering up her cellulite (lots of moisturizer).

“I box a lot, I spin and I surf,” Miller told Tarts at the launch of Naturally Victoria’s Secret Beauty at The Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday. “I try to mix it up. I obviously have to be in shape 24 hours and the gym can be super monotonous, so I just get outside and try to make it fun so my body doesn’t get bored.”

But it turns out that the California native does have to cheat a little in order to hide her (gasp) cellulite when getting ready to strut in a swimsuit.

“Skin is huge and there are so many great bronzers. Self tanners were a little funky ten years ago but the color is a lot better now. That’s the most important thing, if you have a little glow it really hides imperfections – bruises, spider veins, we all have little cellulite,” Miller added. “When you have that glow and you’re moisturized the light hits you in a different way. Especially after winter we have really dry skin it’s important to exfoliate, moisturize and do a self-tanner.”

And even though millions of men across the world have probably spent hours drooling over the lingerie lass, Miller herself feels much more lauded when she gets a little love from the ladies.

“Not to discredit the guys, but when a woman gives a compliment it’s very special. There is nothing more flattering than a woman to say ‘I’m a fan’ or ‘I think you’re beautiful’,” she added. “I don’t know why, but it means a lot to get a compliment from a woman.”

[From Fox News]

It probably means so much to get a compliment from a woman because it’s the women who are going to be jealous of her rockin’ body. Of course guys think she’s hot. And she’s right on the cellulite count. You can have a great body, but if you don’t have good skin, that’s the first thing people are going to notice.

It’s inspiring to me to see this move from stick-thin models to bodies that are more healthy. Clearly Marisa’s got great genes, but she’s also made the decision to make it muscular as well as lean. Sure, she’s a Victoria’s Secret model, and not doing Paris catwalks, but her type of beauty is really where trends are heading. She’s also very involved in the battle against breast cancer. Here’s one model who actual can be a role model (no pun intended) – a rare find in the industry.

Here’s Marisa Miller in St. Barts on January 20th. Images thanks to Fame Pictures .

Kenny Chesney says he’s not gay when the lights are on

Kenny Chesney has finally addressed rumors that his four month marriage to Renee Zellweger ended after she woke up from her puckered stupor and realized he plays for the other team. He told Anderson Cooper that he’s not gay, but he never really used the word gay, just said he’s uh, not.

Chesney said that the only reason “fraud” was checked on the annulment was because he didn’t understand that marriage meant he’d actually have to have sex with his wife, and that it certainly didn’t have anything to do with all the pills he was popping. Cooper raised a well groomed eyebrow but didn’t miss a beat.

“It’s not true. Period. Maybe I should have come out and said, ‘No, I’m not (gay),’ but I didn’t want to draw any more attention to it,” the 38-year-old country singer says. “… I didn’t have to prove to anybody that I wasn’t (gay). I didn’t feel like I really did.”

Zellweger and Chesney were married on the Caribbean island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands in May 2005. It was the first marriage for both. Four months later, Zellweger listed “fraud” as the reason she was seeking an annulment.

The Oscar-winning actress later issued a statement saying the term “fraud” was “simply legal language and not a reflection of Kenny’s character.”

“We thought the least harmful (stated reason) was fraud because it (is) kind of broad … doesn’t specify,” Chesney says. “And boy … we were wrong.”

“The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like … that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn’t,” he says.

I haven’t actually seen the video clips available on the CBS website because they won’t play for me in any of my web browsers. So I’m making all that filler up, of course.

Chesney must need the publicity for his upcoming summer tour. He also appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition alongside Marisa Miller.

Here’s what he says on his official website about his photoshoot with Miller:

And just when it seems life can’t get any better, here comes Sports Illustrated infamous Swim Suit issue, and rather than buying it, you’re in it. Hard to believe a kid from Luttrell, Tennessee who started picking guitar in sundry bars in college could get so lucky – and yet, there he is: Kenny Chesney, paired with leggy blond beauty Marisa Miller for a free-for-all in front of a white scrim.

“I could tell doing this shoot, we had very similar lives,” Chesney said of what appears on the page to be instant chemistry. “We’re both very normal people, but then the lights come on, she becomes this other person. People who seem me onstage know what that means…

So when he says he’s another person when the lights are on, that must also apply to when they’re off.

Chesney’s interview will air this Sunday on 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. EST and PT.

Sports Illustrated models all at one party. The terrorists have lost.

Heterosexuality worldwide got a real boost when Ana Beatriz Barros, Veronica Varekova, Bar Refaeli, and Marisa Miller all showed up for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2007 Launch party. Such Mega hotness in one room caused several beta males in the general area to dissolve into sad little puddles of wish fufillment.

Hollywood Tuna had the pictorial scoop …. I do not have the thousand words that these pictures equal. Have at it boys:
