Last week, we saw photos of Real Housewives of New York’s Jill Zarin looking like a completely different person after some obvious surgical intervention. Her nose looked different, her face was pulled and taut, and is she was a casual acquaintance of mine I would be hard pressed to identify her after all that plastic surgery.

Zarin said around that time that she hadn’t had any work done, and that “If I did, I would be the first to admit it.” Only she wasn’t the first to admit it and it took a ton of people and media outlets calling her on her BS for her to own up to anything. She’s not copping to a nose job, and is claiming that her reshaped nose is the result of some contouring makeup. She also says she had a “liquid facelift,” meaning enough chemicals injected into her face to mold her into a plastic version of someone else.

On the Wendy Williams show (video below) Zarin said her dermatologist “injects Restalyne on the side [of the face] so it gives you a pull. You don’t fill in the smile lines, because that’s too inaccurate… People used to use silicone, don’t use that stuff. Then she does Botox down here [gestures to neck]… tightens the neck. It’s all about pulling and tightening. Here I’ve been doing [between the eyebrows] for 10 years. My forehead and here. But this is really the difference… since I’m 5 years old I’ve always had bangs.”

Look at this lady talk. Only her jaw moves. She claims to always tell the truth, but why didn’t she admit to this “liquid facelift” before, when it was so painfully obvious? It isn’t her hair that makes all the difference, her face looks like wax and it’s freakish. At least she didn’t mess with her lips yet. Wendy Williams is such a kiss ass telling her that she doesn’t look any different.

I know you read the title so you know who this is supposed to be, but honestly even if you knew her well would you recognize her? I don’t watch Real Housewives of New York but I’ve seen this woman before and I would know she was a Real Housewife person, before she did all that to her face. I wouldn’t have recognized her at all from that photo. She obviously got a nosejob and it looks like she’s had a lot of fillers and maybe Botox. She could show up at her high school reunion and people would squint and shake their head and be like “nope, can’t place ‘ya” because she looks like someone else. She doesn’t even look like her own sister now.

But of course this woman is all “oh I didn’t have anything done” and her costars are calling her on her bullsh*t:

Zarin, 47, denies getting any work done — “If I did, I would be the first to admit it,” she told me — but her critics aren’t so convinced.

“I really don’t know what to think.” Ramona Singer tells me. “If you see her in the photos, her face looks different. Personally I like her other look better.”

Ramona tells me that Sonja Morgan, another NYC housewife, is certain that Jill has had numerous “injectables” put into her face. “It does make her face look too taut and not as natural,” Ramona says.

Jill has admitted to going to famous cosmetic dermatologist Patricia Wexler. “Jill overdid it. It’s not the best look. Too much injectables look as bad as a bad face-lift,” a puzzled Ramona told me.

And it’s not just the females on Bravo’s hit show that are giving Jill a hard time.

Simon Van Kempen, who we often see on the show and is launching his own web series, tells me, “I certainly think it’s better to age gracefully than pull yourself so tight that you can no longer show facial expressions.”

Last week, Jill appeared on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live!’ sporting a distinct Madonna look. Simon sniped that “with her face the way it is now, it looks like Jill can no longer do a rendition of Madonna’s ‘Express Yourself.’”

A few weeks ago, there were some new photos of Fergie, celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas. It seemed like Fergie had purchased herself a new face for her birthday, although her husband Josh Duhamel claimed that her drastically new look was the result of “new lipstick.” Ha! Anyway, these are some photos of Fergie and Josh at a benefit for the Red Cross. Fergie’s face is still looking… different. But she looks good, I’m not saying that. I’d even dare to say that Fergie got a appropriate work done – she doesn’t look scary and frozen-faced, she just looks “refreshed” and “younger”.

As for what Fergie may or may not have gotten done, Star Magazine got some plastic surgeons to talk about what they think might have happened. According to one, Fergie has had an estimated $30,000 plastic surgery makeover. NYC plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Schwartz (who doesn’t treat Fergie) claims that she’s had a brow lift, eyelid lift and filler in her cheeks: “Fergie’s forehead looks tighter, her jaw line is sharper, she looks fresh-faced and years younger because her skin is so taut and smooth, and it creates a well-rested look.” Another plastic surgeon suggests that Fergie has gotten Botox injections in her eyebrows, and thinks she also got a chemical peel.

By the way, I don’t know who designed Fergie’s dress, but it’s cute. Paris Hilton was also at this event (I don’t care enough to put photos up of her), and she was wearing a ball gown. I think Fergie looks totally appropriate for the event.

Since I don’t watch American Idol, I missed Fergie’s appearance on the show and the subsequent whispering about what she may or may not have done (lately) to alter her appearance. But from these photos taken at her birthday party in Las Vegas on Friday, I’m perfectly willing to discuss this now. Girl got something (else) done. Fergie has long been rumored to get the occasion nip, tuck, or complete overhaul over the years, and while it’s difficult for me to pinpoint exactly what is new on her face this time, I can say that she looks much different than the last time I paid attention to her. Sure, she’s lost some weight and she’s got a tan. But losing weight and getting some sun doesn’t change your appearance THIS much. Also – has she always been this stacked? I looked up older photos of her boobs, and yes, she’s always had a nice-sized bust, these look… bigger.

There is something else funny, though: the denial. Fergie loves her denial. And she married a man who loves denial too. He loves denial almost as much as he loves bonin’ budget strippers. Josh Duhamel went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and claimed that Fergie’s new look is all natural, and actually pulls out this line: “I thought she looked amazing [on American Idol]. It’s amazing. You put a different colour on your lips and, uh, rumours fly. But she’s the same, she’s the same Fergie… I sleep right next to her every night. I like it.” Lipstick? For real? Oh, Josh.

I’m not a huge fan of Liv Tyler in general, but I don’t dislike for any reason. She’s pretty harmless, and I appreciate that she’s not a famewhore who gets pap’d constantly. She’s made some good movies, and she’s made some terrible movies, and I’m always surprised that she consistently gets work, because I’ve never thought she was very talented. But I’ve always thought she was pretty, in a “different” way. She has a unique beauty, and yet… she has a kind of girl-next-door prettiness that makes her seem like the kind of woman that you could hang out with and go shopping with. Anyway, these are photos of Liv (and her dad) at last night’s premiere of Super. At first, I didn’t even recognize her. I thought I was looking at photos of Rebecca Hall!

So, here’s the question: did Liv get a little nip-tuck, or am I just surprised with these photos because I’m not constantly bombarded with pap photos of her? Something about her eyes looks weird to me. There’s a tightness, I guess. Or maybe it’s just the makeup? Or because she’s standing next to her dad? If she had some work done, I’ll be disappointed.

I’ve been having a love affair with Claire Danes lately. I’d always been rather “meh” on her, even back when she was first popular, with My So-Called Life and Romeo + Juliet. I just thought she was pretty and pretty overrated, nothing special. Then I saw Temple Grandin… I had no idea how talented Claire was and is. That movie is so good, and Claire’s performance is so amazing, I just kind of love her now. Considering my love, I’m giving her a pass on what she says in a new interview with Stylist. Claire talks about plastic surgery and how we shouldn’t “judge” women for mangling their faces.

Claire on dyeing her hair: “I’ve been coloring it since I was 13, when I did ‘My So Called Life,’ I have no idea what my real color is! I look at my brother and say, ‘Oh, that’s what I would look like.’ I identify my current blonde as my ‘base color,’ so I return to it when I literally have to wash a character out of my hair. I’m pretty passive about this stuff, so I trust [my colorist friend Steven Amendola]. If he decides to go lighter because it’s spring, I just say, ‘uh huh.’”

Claire on plastic surgery: “I’m really fortunate in that I’m still quite young, and can get away with a lot, and my body is very forgiving. We’ll see how things progress. I think it’s great that women have so much choice now, and choice in products that are backed by science. As long as people are aware of potential risks, and they’re working closely with a doctor, I say go for it. These are real intimate personal decisions, and I don’t think anyone should judge anyone.”

On her new gig on a TV show called Homeland: “It’s a political psychological thriller based on a show that’s very popular in Israel right now. I play a CIA officer. She’s very bright and daring, and takes a lot of risks that get her into trouble… I got to go to the real CIA headquarters at Langley [Virginia], and it was fun! There really are spies out there, doing very spy-y things.”

Now, I’ve long maintained that what really bothers me about celebrities and plastic surgery is when someone lies about their work when their work is really, really obvious. See: Kim Kardashian and Nicole Kidman. As I get older, though, I’m finding myself less tolerant of this “whatever you need to make yourself feel better” attitude. I’m committed to aging naturally. That’s my choice and I’m sticking to it, not because I’m so much better than women who choose to work on their faces, but because I see women – celebrities – every day who mangle their natural good looks with stupid plastic surgery. Working here has completely scared me off of even considering it – I don’t want to be a hideous cat-faced monstrosity.

But yeah, every woman had the right to make her own choices about aging and plastic surgery. Just as I have the right to say you looked better before you did all that junk.

Kim Kardashian is the cover girl for the April issue of Self Magazine. I wasn’t paying any attention to it, because I didn’t even both to read the interview excerpts, mostly because Kim is a really boring interview. Not this time, though. In this interview, Kim decides she’s going to taunt us with her plastic, freaky kat-face and lie to us. Yes,m Kim wants us to know that she isn’t “bothered” by the “rumors” that her face is jacked to hell. And she even gives another excuse for these photos of her crazy lip injections – previously, Kim claimed her lips were jacked because of the flu. Now she says that she’s always had those lips, and that we’re all so, so dumb.

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to tabloid reports speculating she’s had plastic surgery. But the reality starlet doesn’t let the falsifications get the best of her.

“Rumors don’t bother me anymore,” Kardashian, 30, told Self magazine while shooting their April cover. “I’ve read that I’ve had my lips done. I’ve always had big lips. Look at my baby pictures. It’s ridiculous … You can’t worry about all the gossip.”

But it’s not just Kardashian’s lips that reports claim she’s had altered.

“They’ll show one picture of me today and one tomorrow, and say I’ve had my nose done in between,” she says. “When? Didn’t you just see me yesterday? And how many times have I ‘had my butt done?’ People’s logic is so weird. I don’t know why they bother!”

Luckily, Kardashian’s little sisters Kendall and Kylie aren’t exposed to the same kind of “rumors and lies” that she and her other sisters, Kourtney and Khloé, had to deal with when they first became famous.

“They definitely stay away from all the tabloid magazines,” Kardashian explains. “They’re not really allowed to get those.”

But if Kardashian lived in a world where celebrity magazine covers were irrelevant, she’d want it to be of the CSI nature.

“I would either be a crime scene investigator or a makeup artist,” she says. “Or both. Maybe I should do makeup for the people on the crime scene [who] are dead.”

But in the simpler scheme of things, Kardashian says she’d even be happy working as a cleaning lady.

“I’m the biggest neat freak at home,” she admits. “I don’t have people over for the reason [that] I don’t like anyone in my space. I think I was a housekeeper in my last life. Sitting at home in sweats and cleaning out my closet would be a perfect night for me.”

Adds Kardashian, “At home, everything has to be perfectly in line and perfectly color-coordinated. I’m just a neat freak, OCD, crazy girl.”

Kim, we think you’ve altered your face because we have eyes. And of course the “rumors” don’t bother you – you don’t DO anything. It’s not like you can just put your head down and work as an actress. For the past few weeks, Courteney Cox has been in Hawaii, “filming”. Wait, that’s not fair. She actually has been filming episodes of CougarTown, but there’s also been a lot of fun and relaxation with her daughter and her rumored jumpoff, Brian Van Holt. As such, some of the photo agencies have been getting photos of CC in various bikinis. In some of the photos, CC’s boobs look… different. You can see the series of photos here, at The Superficial. Now, CC was never really flat-chested or anything. She was probably a B-cup while on Friends, and then I don’t know what happened to her boobs after she gave birth to Coco. I wasn’t paying any attention – my guess is that she probably went back to a B-cup or something. Anyway, in these recent bikini photos, Courteney’s rack looks enhanced. Not anything major, and probably not anything more than going one size up. Still, people are wondering:

Courteney Cox is single and busting out all over! Cox revealed a red-hot bikini body while filming on location in Hawaii – and pals are wondering if her busty new look is the result of secret breast enhancement surgery!

Cox, who is newly single, has embarked on a new diet and fitness regimen to kick-start her dating life, say pals.

“Courteney wants her body in tip-top shape as she starts looking for a boyfriend,” revealed one friend. “She is giving herself a post-marriage makeover – and is looking sexier than ever.”

“Jennifer Aniston hooked her up with her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber, and helped Courteney devise a low-fat, high-protein diet… Jen is even giving Courteney tips on how to navigate the dating world. It’s been well over a decade since Courteney was on the market. She’s nervous but she’s embracing single life.”

While David Arquette accused Courteney of having an “emotional affair” with Brian Van Holt, pals say they were never in a serious relationship. Meanwhile, Courtney’s friends are whispering about whether or not she’d seen a plastic surgeon.

“Courteney is playing coy about the boobs,” added the friend. “She isn’t opposed to a few nips and tucks to make her look more youthful.”

Yeah, as I said, there are photos of Courtney and Brian at the pool together with Coco. Brian and Courteney are dating. They are a couple. He spends time with her daughter. They were boning even when Courteney and David were married. Why the whitewash?

As far as the alleged boob job… well, if she did get it done, I applaud her plastic surgeon’s subtle work. I don’t really know if the ladies are fake, though. It could just be a push-up bikini top – they make those, right? Of course, considering that Courteney messes up her face on a semi-permanent basis now, I guess she really is up for various nips and tucks.

I’m not the only one who has noted “Waity” Kate Middleton’s diminishing frame these past few months. In her public roll-out the past few weeks, it seems that Kate has lost a significant amount of weight since the engagement announcement – and now lots of people are talking about princesses and body image. The Daily Mail ran an “open letter” to Kate about her diminished curves, basically saying that while Kate is under a lot of pressure, it also seems like she thinks she needs to be super-thin on her wedding day. Which brings up an interesting thought – just how good or bad is Kate’s personal body image? She’s billed by the royalists and Waity-apologists as a down-to-earth, athletic, wholesome girl who won the prince’s heart with her simplicity and naturalism. But is the real Waity a bag of nerves, ego, extreme dieting and superficiality? According to the Enquirer, Kate is already planning her subtle plastic surgery makeover:

Kate Middleton is on a quest – she wants a body fit for a queen! Middleton needs a head-to-toe makeover to ensure she looks her best for the future king od England, say experts. And the total body overhaul comes with a royal price tag of $150,000!

“Kate knows she’s about to become one of the most photographed women in the world, and that women will scrutinize every inch of her. She’s really dreading that,” an insider tells The Enquirer. “She wants to project a modern, glamorous image, and she knows that it’s best to have cosmetic intervention before any aging, sagging, drooping or wrinkling can mar her figure.”

The insider estimates Kate would have to drop well over $150,000 for her initial “aesthetic adjustments” and for “periodic tune-ups”. Kate’s makeover plan includes a breast augmentation, a more full and shapely derriere, hip liposuction, lip fillers, Botox shots, delicate touch-ups around the eyes, and a minor nose job, says the insider.

“Now that she’s joining the royal family, Kate obviously has to be discreet about her body changes. She doesn’t want to be embarrassingly photographed covered with bandages and with ugly black eyes from plastic surgery,” maintained the insider. “So she needs to plan mini-surgeries that won’t be obvious to the public. And for her procedures where she will have to stay out of the public eye for a short while, Kate has been looking for top surgeons in Switzerland.”

The article goes on to quote a few plastic surgeons at length who talk about how Kate isn’t old enough to do a full overhaul, but they recommend Botox and lip augmentation, because apparently the British expect their future queen to resemble Lindsay Lohan.

As far as the Enquirer’s report goes, I don’t believe the bulk of it. I doubt Kate is planning or considering Botox or any kind of nip or tuck. BUT – I do think she have makeover plans for herself, I just think they involve extreme weight loss, lots of clothes and perfect hair.

Also: some people believe Waity has already gotten some subtle work done over the years, like a slight nose job and some eye work. I don’t know though – I can’t see a huge difference.

Last thing: I will continue to jokingly refer to her as Waity because SHE IS STILL WAITING. She’s not his wife yet, people! Only when she gets married will I refer to her by Catherine or whatever title she gets. Lady Waity, of Duchess of Biscuits, what have you.

Apparently, this is a subject we have never covered before! Brave new world, eh? So I’ll just ask: how friggin’ jacked is Heather Locklear’s face these days? I mean, there’s a little cosmetic work here and there that we can debate with some celebrities, and then there’s this kind of travesty. The biggest issue is that I think Heather’s problem isn’t a facelift or anything like that – I think she’s one of those women who got “fillers” and she just doesn’t realize how crazy she looks now. She probably surrounds herself with people who are like “Honey, you look amazing!”

The photos where Heather is getting out of the car are from yesterday, but I also pulled some photos of Heather from a few weeks ago, when she went to the LA premiere of Never Say Never – the fillers are really obvious in those pics too. Oh, and do I also spy a boob job? Heather always had some boobs but where they that big before?

Once again, my biggest problem with this kind of very noticeable work is the denial – I’ve been looking around to see if Heather has specifically denied getting a new, puffy face, but it looks like she hasn’t confirmed or denied it recently, although there are some older quotes – from when she was married to Richie – floating around about how she hadn’t done anything, but that she wasn’t opposed to it. Looks like she was telling the truth.
