We haven’t had a Kim Kardashian story in a few days. It’s been nice, hasn’t it? CB and I think that while the Kardashians are always going to be and make news, we should still take a break every now and then. Especially now that Team Kardashian is out in full force trying to throw everything they can at Kris Humphries. Ever since Kim filed for divorce on Halloween, there have been rumors about Kim possibly getting back with Reggie Bush. I’ve always thought that Kim should have stuck around longer for Reggie, but she pushed marriage and he wasn’t ready, and they broke up before they really should have. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if both Kim and Reggie still had feelings for each other. So… that’s what this week’s Life & Style is all about – the possibility that Kim and Reggie could reunite:

As Kim Kardashian’s divorce from estranged husband Kris Humphries gets nastier, former boyfriend Reggie Bush has been Kim’s one source of hope! Life & Style reveals in its new issue, on newsstands now, that the duo have been in regular contact and are moving toward a reunion!

“Reggie reached out to Kim via text shortly after she announced she was filing for divorce to make sure she was okay,” a Kardashian family friend tells Life & Style. “They’ve stayed in touch ever since, texting and talking. Kim was Reggie’s first love. He knows she’s hurting right now, but when the time is right, he’ll swoop in and take care of her.”

In fact, an insider tells Life & Style that Kim and Reggie have been in contact regularly via text, phone and Skype. And as Kris Humphries refuses to sign divorce papers and slings claims of fraud at Kim, Reggie has been her understanding shoulder to cry on.

“He’s concerned about her; he’s making sure she’s holding it together,” shares the friend. “Reggie always knew that it wasn’t going to work [between Kim and Kris], so he’s been waiting and watching.”

So… just phone calls and Skype. Convenient because the tabloids can’t nail down a moment when Reggie and Kim are in the same city. Meanwhile, OK! Magazine also put Kim on the cover, but don’t get the impression that Kim really spoke to OK! – she didn’t. All of it comes from “insiders” who sound like Kris Jenner. Here are some highlights from OK!’s piece:

Kim Kardashian had hoped she could take the high road. She thought that the controversy would die down if she stayed silent. But then Kris Humphries went public with his accusation that their marriage was built on fraud, saying he would seek an annulment — and Kim’s world came crashing down all over again.

“When Kim saw that he was filing for fraud in the annulment she just shook her head,” recalls a confidante. “She was just so mad and upset and frustrated.”

Kris’ accusation that their marriage was a “fraud” made Kim, 31, cry, admits a pal. But knowing it was time to finally speak out, she turned first to her friends. “Kris has his side of what happened, and I have my side of the story,” Kim said, according to a close friend. “But we both contributed to the marriage not working out. We both jumped into it too fast. And now we both have to publicly go through the breakup with the whole world judging and watching.”

But their marriage was never a fake. Kim really did want to marry Kris, 26, for all the right reasons, say those around her. She wanted a partner and a family — the perfect sort of romantic dream that everyone wants.

“She did not commit fraud,” insists an insider. “She truly was in love with him and wanted to live happily ever after. Her heartbreak is genuine.”

Kim’s fairy tale ended shortly after the wedding hoopla died down. “Kim quickly realized after the honeymoon that she and Kris just weren’t compatible, and she had just made the biggest mistake of her life,” says a Kardashian relative, who believes that Kim knew she was going to leave Kris before this season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York was finished filming. “I think she knew for a while that she [wasn’t going to spend a] lifetime with Kris.”

The first insider agrees: “Kim’s decision to divorce didn’t come out of nowhere — things between her and Kris were horrible from the moment they walked down the aisle. She’s really not a fake. She was just on this runaway train with no easy way off. I saw her recently and she’s really shook up. The family is worried about how angry Kris is and how far he will go.”

Kim’s family’s fears go beyond Kris damaging their “brand,” too. They are all genuinely worried for Kim. “

Kim isn’t superhuman. People seem to have this idea that because she’s on TV, she’s some sort of robot,” says the insider. “She’s just been through this awful breakup and she’s hurting. Now what Kris is doing is making it hurt that much more. The truth is that she’s extremely emotional and very sensitive and she is having a very hard time dealing with all this.”

Whatever. As much as I’m over Kim, I really dislike Kris Humphries too, and I think his claims of “fraud” are just legal maneuvers to grab more of Kim’s money. Both Kim and Kris profited so much from this whole debacle, and both are lying about “the real reasons” they’re no longer together. Blah.

Kim Kardashian is due to marry Kris Humphries next week. Prepare yourselves, it’s going to be a Kardashian extravaganza. But does Kim have time for one last single-girl hurrah, in the form of an old-and-not-forgotten lover? According to Life & Style and Page Six, Kim’s ex (and her “one great love” IMO) Reggie Bush is regretting their breakup even more now that he sees that she’s moved on with Kris. Reggie has allegedly been calling her and begging her not to go through with the wedding:

Bush, who let the curvy reality star slip through his fingers in March of last year, has “been sending text messages to Kim and leaving her voicemails, telling her she’s making a mistake and that he’s the one for her,” Life & Style reports, adding, “In the past, Kim was friendly to Reggie, but now she’s stopped responding.”

The magazine claims that Kim even got a message from Reggie, who has started dating a Kim look-alike, on Aug. 4 while she was at a wedding dress fitting with Vera Wang. The wedding is Aug. 20.

A source told Life & Style, “He was begging her to call off the wedding — and give him another chance.”

But a friend said, “She was burned by the end of their relationship, and she’s truly moved on.”

Reps for Bush and Kardashian didn’t get back to us.

I’m feeling generous this morning, so I’ll say that I think this is possible. I used to think that Reggie dumped Kim and never looked back, but he’s done some stuff that makes me think he’s still hung up on Kim. Like, he’s dating a chick who looks a hell of a lot like Kim. Also, shortly after Reggie and Kim broke up, Reggie called Kim and let out his jealous bitch, which Kim aired on her show – it was a whole new side of Reggie, and I do tend to think he’s probably still in contact with Kim. That being said, if Kim actually did leave Kris at the altar and call off her wedding, Reggie would probably be scared off, right? Reggie’s just playing a head-game.

Now, I doubt Kim would call off her wedding for any reason, but that’s not a testament to the love that she and Kris have. Kim just wants to get married, and she wants attention, and Kris is fine with it. She and Kris aren’t even going to have a honeymoon – because right after the wedding, Kim and her Kourtney are traveling to NYC. Ah, newlyweds. Radar has a fascinating piece about how Reggie Bush is still trying to bone Kim Kardashian. Pardon me, did I say “bone”? I mean, “Kim wants people to think Reggie is still in love with her because she’s still not over him.” Kim and Reggie broke up several months ago amidst rumors that he was already lining up a number of jump-offs. Kim tried to pull the relationship together, clinging to Reggie, but in the end, I feel pretty strongly that he dumped her. I think she wanted to marry him, and I think he wanted to hook up with all the randoms he wanted. Since their breakup, I’ve noticed that every now and then, there is a random (planted) report about how Reggie just can’t wait to get back with Kim, how he’s calling her and begging her to come back. These reports always sound like they came from Kim’s people. In any case, I’m not buying a potential reunion, but it is interesting to think that Kim is still not over Reggie:

Reggie Bush is back keeping up with Kim Kardashian. The on-again, off-again couple is taking the first steps toward possibly rekindling their romance, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

“Kim and Reggie are back talking after their split,” a source close to Kim told RadarOnline.com. “There has been more communication of late than there has since she they ended their relationship in March.”

Kim’s recent split from Dallas Cowboy Miles Austin and Reggie’s broken leg have conspired to allow the pair to to work on rebuilding a friendship, according to our insider.
The reunion comes as Kim prepares to celebrate her 30th birthday on October 21 – a milestone those close to Kim suggest she would like to share with Reggie.

While Reggie has been rumored to be romancing budding singer Mayra Veronica, the injured New Orleans Saints’ star hasn’t ruled out the possibility of giving Kim another go.

In late May, 25-year-old Reggie himself admitted that Kim reunion is possible. Asked about whether or not a reconciliation might occur, he told E! News at the Cedars Sinai Sports Spectacular, “Yeah, anything’s possible. We’ve always been on good terms, always. No matter what happens.”

Not soon after that event, Kim and Reggie crossed paths at the wedding of Reggie’s teammate Bobby McCray, who tied the knot with Khadijah Haqq. Khadija’s best friend Khloe Kardashian was in the bridal party.

Now one source told RadarOnline.com: “Kim and Reggie have realized they share a common bond and at this time, Kim is providing Reggie all the support he can get as he recovered from the broken fibula in his right leg.”

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush began dating in April 2007 after meeting at the ESPY Awards. They called off their romance in July 2009 only to reconcile in October the same year, before splitting against in March, this year.

Only time will tell if the reconciliation will translate to Kim and Reggie deciding to give their on-and-off-again romance another chance.

Eh. I think Kim still wants to get married and I think Reggie still doesn’t want to. Or he just doesn’t want to marry Kim. Rumors around their breakup also involved his family not being thrilled with the idea of Reggie “settling down” with a Kat-Face with a sex tape. Who knows?

Speaking of Kim being slightly desperate, Page Six’s sources are now claiming that Kim is NOT dating that dude Michael Copon, and that she’s still “searching for the one.” Eh.

Last week, I saw a really incredible episode of HBO’s Real Sports that I was dying to report on. I rarely watch Real Sports because the subject is something I have little interest in, but the few times I’ve seen it I was so impressed. (This week I recorded it to catch an expose on female bodybuilders and was tearing up when I learned about a PGA golf pro who had two heart transplants.)

One of the stories this week was about a scandal that former USC (and current Seattle Seahawks) football coach Pete Carroll faced that resulted in his firing. The NCAA hit USC with harsh sanctions a month ago when it came out that former quarterback running back and Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush accepted illegal payoffs in his 2004-2005 season in exchange for favors. USC had to give up their NCAA status for two years, surrender over 30 football scholarships and return their Orange Blow trophy, won in 2005.

As part of the story, the man who bribed Bush and blew the whistle on him when he was double-crossed, a convicted felon named Lloyd Lake, was interviewed. Lake told Real Sports that he gave Reggie a tricked out car, paid him $3,000 a month, paid for his parents to go to away games, and put a down payment on a house for Bush’s parents under the pretense that Bush would hire him as his agent when he graduated. (Think Jerry MaGuire and how much money that character made.) Lake borrowed $300,000 from family to set Bush up. When he was ready to go pro, Bush went behind Lake’s back and hired another agent while shafting him for all the money he paid him illegally! His parents stole a bunch of furniture from the house Lake bought for them and just left. As evidence of his claims, Lake had a tape of Reggie’s dad promising him that all the money he invested in his son would pay off for him.

Lake’s story was absolutely believable, and while Bush has denied it he looked scared and not at all convincing in the tape that Real Sports played. (There are no clips of Lake’s interview online that I can find, but HBO does have a clip of USC coach Pete Carroll denying any knowledge of the illegal payoffs and another clip of the promo for the show.)

Anyway USC has taken down Bush’s jersey and returned his Heisman trophy as a result of the scandal. In response, Bush’s cat-faced ex girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, has chimed in with some sympathy for him.

“I don’t really think he should give [the Heisman trophy] back I think he earned it, I think he worked hard for it, and I think he deserves it. I don’t think it’s fair for anyone to take back all the hard work he put in…

“I think USC can make their decision on their end. I’m sure a lot of people financially made a lot of money off him. Are they going to just give back all the negative and keep the positive? I don’t really think it’s fair. I think he earned it and he deserves it.”

“I do feel bad for him. I’m sure he’s going through a really hard time… Knowing the type of person he is, I’m sure that he would do anything in his power to make it up to the school.. and the kids that are playing there now that aren’t eligible to make it to championships.”

I guess I’m not surprised that Kim, who comes from a family of opportunists and grifters, would feel sorry for Bush. She probably feels that he hasn’t done anything wrong and deserved to be set up in luxury, even if he screwed the guy who got him there.

Here’s another piece to the ongoing Kim Kardashian-Reggie Bush-Amber Rose-Miles Austin breakup story that will NEVER END. Last week we finally got confirmation that Kanye West and Amber Rose had split up – unfortunately, the announcement came just days after Amber was spotted getting all up on Reggie Bush, who split from Kim Kardashian a few months ago. Now, the tabloids would have us believe that Kim and Reggie are still in the throes of their on-again-off-again relationship – just this week, Life & Style ran a cover about Kim’s “revenge” relationship with Miles Austin, which seems designed to make Reggie jealous – and according to L&S, it’s working, and Reggie wants to get back with Kim. That piece (and many others) seemed planted by Kim’s people, especially given the fact that Reggie seems to be all “Kim who?”

So Bossip pointed out that at Wednesday’s ESPYs, Reggie and Amber were all over each other, once again. Hollywood Life had the scoop:

Reggie flirt with Kanye West’s former girlfriend of two years, model Amber Rose, at the ESPY Awards after-party at Drai’s Hollywood nightclub at the W Hotel — and she even gave him a lap dance!

Reggie, 25, partied with his fellow New Orleans Saints before moving to a cabana with his coach and a few ESPN sportscasters, where he was approached by Amber, who didn’t leave his side for the rest of the night.

Amber Rose grabbed Reggie’s hand, stared deeply into his eyes and began to give the athlete a sensual lap dance. Although there was music playing in the background, Amber moved to her own beat and Reggie loved every second of it.

After dancing for more than five minutes, Amber slowly stood up and Reggie whispered something in her ear. Judging from their smiles, it was obvious the couple’s late-night rendezvous was going to continue late into the night.

And to add insult to injury, Bossip pointed out that the ESPYs were where Reggie and Kim first met, and that Kim’s new guy Miles isn’t “big enough to receive any type of recognition at the Espy Awards… just yet!” Also: “Reggie goes from supposedly not being able to deal with Kim Kardashian’s sex tape to Kanye West’s 1st Year “Put On Foundation” Recipient Winner… Exactly, What is The Difference??? They both got paid for what they did in the past. Wonder what Reggie’s Mom has to say about all this???” Ha! I love Bossip.

Yesterday, we saw some new photos of Kim Kardashian with her new boyfriend Miles Austin (who is really cute, and he has beautiful eyes). I joked that the look in Kim’s f-cked up cat-eyes said “Oh my God, I hope Reggie sees this, I am so FAMOUS!” Well, I kind of called it. Life & Style’s cover story this week is all about how Reggie Bush has been getting jealous of Kim wandering around with her cat-face and her new man, and now Reggie wants her back. You can actually see the Kardashian’s PR goo dripping off this one, it’s kind of sad:

Life & Style has learned that since Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian called it quits back in March, he’s been desperate to contact the reality star. “

Reggie realized Kim was the one and said he was finally ready to get married,” an insider tells Life & Style. “But after months of being single, Kim’s realized Reggie wasn’t the one, and now she’s moved on.”

In fact, Kim is happier than ever with new beau, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

“Ever since Reggie found out about Miles, he’s been going crazy sending Kim lots of nasty e-mails. She just ignores them,” the insider continues. “Reggie has unsuccessfully tried to reach out to Miles.”

Instead, Kim and Miles have been busy spending lots of time together and getting to know each other. He already has the seal of approval from the Kardashian clan and Life & Style has learned that the football star took Kim home to meet his relatives during their recent trip to the east coast.

“Miles took Kim to his hometown of Garfield, N.J., to meet his family,” says the insider. “They spent the night at the Jersey Shore with all his friends.”

Personally, this makes me think that Kim is still really hung up on Reggie, and not vice versa. I think Reggie is happy as can be that he’s free of Kim and all of the Kardashian bullsh-t. I also think he was cheating on her while she clung to the remnants of their relationship, and I think he moved on very quickly when they did call it quits. You know who I feel for? Miles Austin and his pretty eyes. Kim seems like she’s just using him to make Reggie jealous, and Miles actually seems into her. Dumb, dumb cat-face Kim.

CB and I had a much too long conversation about “model”/professional girlfriend Amber Rose yesterday. Like, I maybe it was because yesterday’s news was so slow? I don’t know. But for some reason CB and I sat here and shot the breeze for way too long, theorizing about whether Kanye West and Amber had broken up, and whether she was just trying to get attention or if she was now boning Reggie Bush. It all started when Bossip had this story about Amber and Reggie looking really friendly at some event over the weekend. Reggie, having recovered from dating Kim Kardashian, seemed to be eyeing up the ladies at the party, and Amber caught his attention (photo here). This seemed weird to me, because as far as I could remember, Kanye and Amber hadn’t officially declared they were over. Now Us Weekly has a source who claims that Kanye dumped Amber – because he needed to concentrate on his art. So Amber’s looking for a new player.

Kanye West and his model-girlfriend Amber Rose are taking a break, a source close to the rapper, 33, tells UsMagazine.com.

“They are still good friends,” the source tells Us. “Kanye is consumed with recording his comeback record in Hawaii and had to shut it all off. When he’s in work mode, he can’t handle a relationship. He told Amber he needs to devote everything right now to his craft.”

Rose, 27, isn’t sulking.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, she was spotted making out with Kim Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush at Axe Lounge in NYC’s The Hamptons — as West’s hit “Flashing Lights” blared from the speakers.

Nevertheless, a second source tells Us: “I wouldn’t say it’s over for good” for West and Rose. “It’s always off-and-on when it’s convenient for these two. He doesn’t go out anymore and she loves it, so he lets her. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are seen together again next week.”

I was never really sure whether I could buy Amber and Kanye’s relationship, so hearing that they broke up isn’t that big. I always thought it was more performance art on Kanye’s part. Or the desire to just have a steady girlfriend, a “muse” that he could have on his arm. Or maybe it was true love and Kanye just needed to put his art first. I don’t know. But I’m glad I finally have an answer to my question about whether Amber was getting her Reggie Bush freak on behind Kanye’s back.

We’ve already seen one of Tiger Woods’ porn star mistresses, Joslyn James, embark on a strip club tour that roughly follows Tiger’s weak comeback attempt at tournaments throughout the country. An enterprising former stripper mistress of Bones star David Boreanaz, Demi Delia (Gina Rodriguez), has come up with the idea to team up on an adult entertainment tour with other porn star mistresses of famous cheaters including Tiger Woods, Jesse James, and Reggie Bush. Tiger Woods’ mistresses of course outnumber the others, with three from his camp: Joslyn James, Devon James, and Holly Sampson. We have one stripper each to represent James, Bush, and Boreanaz, and thankfully “Bombshell” McGee isn’t part of this troupe. James’ mistress Melissa Smith will take part, as will a woman named January Gessert who supposedly slept with Reggie Bush. TMZ has the details:

But TMZ has learned they’re planning to blow into several other cities. Joslyn’s manager Gina Rodriguez — herself an alleged mistress of Boreanaz — tells us she’s booked the cheaters circus for the next few months … though she wouldn’t reveal specific dates.

I had to Google to remember that Kari is the third woman in the non-sex naked hangout tape with Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart. She was also on Celebrity Rehab.

I wonder if all these ladies are represented by Gloria Allred. At least one two of them are, Joslyn James and January Gessert. Allred should be their traveling lawyer while they’re on tour, targeting famous married men for them to hook up with in every city they visit and then pestering the guys for money before they move on. For every guy with a wandering dick, there are plenty of people willing to squeeze some cash out it.

These are some new photos of Kim Kardashian, all of them from Kim’s Twitter. She spent the weekend issuing a flurry of Twitpics (or whatever they’re called), all of them featuring Kim in various bikinis, posing provocatively. Considering Kim’s breakup with Reggie just became public knowledge last week (even though I suspect they‘ve been broken up for a month or so), this whole “look at me, my boobs are fabulous” thing strikes me as desperate. It also confirms (in my mind) that Kim was the one to get dumped, and she’s trying to prove she’s still got it, or she’s trying to remind Reggie of “what he’s missing.” Or she’s trying to show up that alleged “other woman” that Reggie may or may not have “cheated” with. But that’s all just my opinion – the way this thing is playing publicly is that Reggie wants to get back with Kim, at least according to Radar’s “source”. Here’s more:

But Reggie has denied cheating and took to his Twitter page to protest his innocence.

Meanwhile, Kim ­ once bitten, twice shy – is playing it oh so cool.

I wonder who this mysterious source is? Perhaps the source’s name rhymes with “Bris Benner”. My take on Kim and Reggie’s relationship is still the same – I think he was consistently turned off by her famewhore ways, and was genuinely looking for a girlfriend who was more low-key. I think Reggie has been trying to get out of the relationship with Kim for a while. But, in Kim’s defense (I know, I know), I do think Reggie did care about her, and I think she probably cared about him a lot too.

And hey, maybe he’ll really miss Kim’s awkward posing. Isn’t she a “model”? She’s one of the least natural models I’ve ever seen. She always looks like she’s passing gas.

Reggie has reportedly set up an elaborate system to hide his cheating from Kim – including the use of multiple cell phones, but the camera never lies, and Kim is bound to be left devastated and in tears following the release of these photos.

The National Enquirer reports that when January was asked about Reggie, following their tryst at his Hollywood Hills home where Kim usually stays with him, January smiled and claimed she didn’t know him. But then became flustered and contradicted herself – saying that she went to his house, but he wasn’t there, before adding, “I know him from TV”.

Shockingly, another publication, Star magazine, claims this wasn’t the first hook-up for Reggie and January. The magazine reports that January told a friend she would be seeing Reggie and spending the night, quoting the source, “It wasn’t the first time she had gone out with him!”

And it seems that January isn’t the only lucky girl to share some bed time with Reggie, reportedly Reggie has also hooked up with a beauty named Crystal in Las Vegas, a Danielle in New Orleans and sexy Miami model Carmen Ortega.

In the days before the Enquirer story hit newsstands, Kim and Reggie’s relationship imploded and as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Reggie broke it off because Kim wants to get married and he doesn’t.

Was Reggie cheating? Maybe. Of course that’s a possibility. But I have another theory. My take is that Kim and Reggie did break up a while ago (let’s say, beginning of March) and Kim, for various famewhore and sisterly-competition reasons, asked Reggie to either keep the breakup on the downlow, or convinced him that they were just on a temporary “break” rather than a full split. Reggie was all “whatever” and went about enjoying his life as a newly-single guy, and thus, “cheated” with some random blonde girl. And now that people are all, like, “Of course Reggie broke up with Kim, she’s a f-cking idiot” Kim starts playing the wounded victim, the wronged woman, as if she was cheated on. Yes, this is just a theory. But it sounds totally plausible, right?
