Vivica A. Fox, 46, was a guest on the Wendy Williams show this week. Wendy asked her if she planned on marrying her 26 year-old boyfriend, a club promoter who goes by the name of Slimm. From what I can tell Vivica and Slimm have been together about a year, and broke up briefly in August before getting back together. Slimm was in the audience during the show and Vivica told Wendy that she planned on marrying him and having his baby. She said she wouldn’t consider surrogacy, but “didn’t have a problem” with adoption. Williams, also 46, also asked Fox if she still had “full periods.” It was pretty funny.

Vivica: [To Audience] Don’t you guys think it’s time for me to have a baby?

Vivica: My career has been my baby for such a long time and I’ve done well by that. I waited for God to send me a good man, and he’s a good Southern man.

Wendy: I still get full periods, do you still get full periods?

Vivica: Yeah, you’ve got to worry about that.

Wendy: At 46 years old…

Vivica: You’ve got to do a lot of testing.

Wendy: Have you started talking to your GYN?

Vivica: Not yet. I’ve got to finish this tour first, but we’re planning after the tour to do the thing. If I can get a girl and a boy that would be fabulous and I’m shutting up shop and shipping these eggs to Africa somewhere.

Wendy: Would you get a surrogate or would you adopt?

Vivica: I don’t have a problem with adopting. I don’t know about a surrogate. I don’t know if I could do that. I’m too much of a control freak… I’m very fertile, so I don’t think that I would have a problem.

It sounds like Vivica wants a baby, but isn’t going to start even trying to conceive until she’s done touring with her play Cheaper to Keep Her. I checked and the play might be over at the end of January, so it’s not like she has a long time to wait. What I’m wondering is – how does she know she’s fertile at 46 if she doesn’t have any kids and hasn’t yet been the doctor to check? Don’t answer that. Also, it sounded like she plans on using her own eggs. It could happen for her but there are a lot of risks with getting pregnant at 46 and chances are that it won’t be easy. It’s not like getting a face lift or some botox. You know that’s her frame of reference for just about all medical issues.

Yesterday, video swept the internet of Vivica A. Fox promoting the Psychic Friends Network. You remember them from back in the day. Well now they’ve returned. And somehow they got Vivica on board as their spokesperson.

I didn’t think Vivica’s career was going that badly. Sure, she was on “Dancing with the Stars,” which tends to say, “My career is nearly over – save me!” But she got a lot of good press for it. She made the mistake of starring with Jessica Simpson in her straight-to-DVD film “Major Movie Star,” but everyone makes mistakes. However, apparently Vivica thought it was going to be all downhill from there, and decided to prepare in advance, by joining the Psychic Friends Network.

Even though there’s clear video evidence to the contrary, Vivica is now saying she has nothing to do with the cheesy fortune tellers.

After an infomercial video and flyers for her alleged campaign with The Psychic Friends Networks hit the web on Monday, actress Vivica A. Fox contacted BV Buzz exclusively to address the matter.

In a statement that the star of ‘Two Can Play That Game’ and ‘Soul Food’ sent via e-mail late Monday night, she declared: “Vivica A. Fox is no friend of The Psychic Friends Network.”

Fox is alleging that the footage circulating online “is using her unauthorized likeness, footage, voice and photographs as an endorsement of their service.”

Additionally, the actress is demanding that The Psychic Friends Network “cease and desist immediately” with use of the video and images.

Details about why the video was shot or how the images were obtained by The Psychic Friends Network were not explained. The 44-year old actress most recently starred on Larry David’s HBO series ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’

I’m confused about how it’s unauthorized, since it appears to be Vivica on the pre-recoded video. Which seems to have been filmed in a studio. Hmmm. I understand a person might panic and agree to something as cheesy as the Psychic Friends. And later, it’d make sense to have some deep, deep regrets when you realize you just traded in your career in exchange for a lifetime of free 1-900 calls. But if she sat down and filmed all that footage, I’m assuming there was a contract in place. Regrettable, yes. But I highly doubt unauthorized. This is going to be another Jessica Simpson-esq workout video debacle all over again.

You know when it’s a fabulous time to announce that you want to adopt kids? Right as you’re going through a multiple D.U.I/sex tape scandal. Nothing says “A+ Mom” to potential adoptive parents quite like a lady with a drinking problem. But that’s not stopping Vivica Fox from claiming that she wants to adopt kids. Her reason? If she had a kid naturally and things didn’t work out with the father, the kid would be a constant reminder of the bad relationship. Hey Vivica, thanks for giving all of us children of divorce one more complex.

The actress, who briefly dated 50 Cent after splitting from husband Christopher Harvest, admits no man has ever convinced her that having a child naturally is worthwhile. Fox says, “I haven’t met anybody that I want to be reminded of. You gotta think about that for 18 years because, more than likely, you, as a woman, you’re gonna be stuck raising the kids. Knowing me, I’d have a baby by somebody I can’t stand and he’d (baby) look just like him (boyfriend). It’d be like, ‘Damn, here you come again today.’

Wow, it’s good to know what my parents see when they look at me. I think if that’s your outlook on children, you probably shouldn’t have them period. Funny thing about children… they’re actually separate, unique people and not simply half you and half the other parent. It’s pretty narcissistic to just see yourself and someone else. And let’s be realistic, you’re not just going to have them around for 18 years, unless you’re a pretty bad parent. If you do it right, you’ll probably see the kid for the rest of your life. I pray pray pray to God that Vivica was trying to be funny when she said this, and it just didn’t come across. It sounds like she’s not really wild about kids… or the inevitable complexities that come with them. Yet Vivica still seems to think she’d be an awesome mom.

So the 43-year-old actress is now considering adopting a baby and becoming a single mum. She adds, “I’ve gotten a little old to be walking around pregnant (but) I’d make a wonderful mom. I’m good with kids. I love kids. It’s just that (pregnancy) hasn’t happened in my life.”

I think her comments perfectly explain why a lot of celebrities don’t seem to make great parents. They just don’t get that it’s about the kids and not all about them. Generally when you see Vivica interviewed, she comes off as kinda crazy anyway. Those are the kind of people that make great aunts, fabulous godmothers, and awesome cousins. But they’re probably best when they’re removed from the kid by at least a few degrees.

Sorta-actress/former Dancing with the Stars contestant Vivica A. Fox has a new scandal under her belt – supposedly the actress was filmed without her knowledge while giving oral sex to an Atlanta gentleman. Though we enjoy mocking celebrities who pose for naked photos and then are shocked when they end up on the internet, being taped without your consent while doing something we all do – but that is nonetheless completely private – isn’t something to judge a person over. Except the man who taped it.

A boyfriend allegedly filmed the unsuspecting Fox as she performed oral sex on him, according to Internet reports. Atlanta blogger Sandra Rose contends that the man captured the act with his cell phone and that he later e-mailed friends the footage of Fox “on her knees.” One of those friends forwarded the e-mail to Fox, who has sought advice from “a friend at the Atlanta Police Department,” according to Rose.

But Fox’s manager, Lita Richardson, told the Daily News, “It’s not true,” without saying what part of the report she was disputing. However, an Atlanta radio personality, Porsche Foxx, “confirmed that her close friend Vivica Fox appears in a controversial sex tape,” according to Rose.

Various media outlets are reporting that the guy is anything from Vivica’s longtime boyfriend to a complete stranger that she picked up. It doesn’t really matter though – whatever he is to her, if he taped her without her knowledge, that’s disgusting. It’s unclear whether he’s using the footage to extort her in some way, just to embarrass her, or for his own bragging rights.

Vivica is certainly no stranger to controversy. She was booked on a DUI charge in December and could go to jail for six months. She also pleaded not guilty to two DUI counts in September. She was arrested in March for doing 80 mph while weaving through traffic on the Ventura Freeway, at which point she called the arresting officers “racist white cops.” So it’s not like things were going really well for her before all this. Vivica has often been featured on websites about bad plastic surgery for her bad brow job and lip plumper addiction. Before Dancing with the Stars, she was not getting any good press. Now it seems like she’s back where she started. Hopefully the video will stay under wraps, and Fox will get her drinking under control.
