Lohan’s in rehab

Lindsay Lohan is a troubled young woman. She’s been looking old and worn out lately it turns out there’s a good reason for it. Despite well-publicized attempts, she hasn’t been able to lay off the sauce and has checked into a rehab.

In a statement issued through her rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lindsay says “I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time.”

Lindsay’s mom, Dina, revealed last month that Lindsay had been attending AA meetings.

According to Hollyscoop, Lohan has been visiting her dealer in East LA and recently bragged that her trip to the hospital to supposedly get her appendix removed was “all for publicity.”

I want to say something snarky about her, but at least she didn’t wait until she got into a car accident or ODed, and is doing something about it now. I guess this explains why she spent 20 minutes in the bathroom the other day.

Update: Oh I forgot that Lohan’s doctors told her during her maybe-appendix removal that she had seriously elevated liver enzymes and low protein, which could indicate permanent liver damage. Her failing health may be the reason she’s entering rehab now.

Pictures of Lohan out on 1/13 and at a Golden Globes after party on 1/15 found at Superior Pics.

I have to agree with other posters that say you’re not toally evil when you present these stories. I really appreciate that. For instance with this, this is a 20 yr old little girl. And thank God she’s findng help BEFORE she drives the wrong way down a highway or gets herself or someone else killed. Let’s hope she can get the help she needs!

  6. KIM says:

I’m glad she’s is getting help because everyone knew she needed it. I just hope that this isn’t another desperate ploy for attention and that she really does go through the program and get it together.

Let’s hope she doesn’t pull a Nicole or a Britney and leave after a few days.

Yeah, let’s hope this STICKS. Not that I care. I am just really worn out by all these girls. If it were up to me, I’d run a special rehab just for them, where we learn about the importance of undergarments, look up and memorize the definition of class, and practice MODERATION in all things. We’d also drink a lot of herbal tea and read good books and discuss them. Exercise their minds, for once.

Anyway, good luck to her or whatever.

I agree with Anastasia here, I wish for her that she stick on her rehab. Right now, the only thing she does is self destructing on all levels.

Yes, they should them “Meaning of Class And Why It’s Important 101” in rehab, but alas, I don’t think they do. Just because your shoes cost most people’s monthly wage does not in any way show class.
NOR does it impress anybody, by the way.

Do you think this has anything to do with Drew Barrymore? I hope that she mentors LL. 10 years from now LL will hate herself for wasting her talent and opportunities if she can’t get clean.

  12. Anastasia says:

Man, Drew Barrymore has more talent and class in her little finger than Lohan does in her whole body. Drew cleaned up and good. She got smart. Straightened out. Knew the world wasn’t going to be handed to her on a silver platter if she kept fucking up. Plus didn’t Drew start SUPER young with the drugs and booze? I don’t know, she’s one of the few I really admire. She’s goofy and I hate the way she talks, but yeah, she’s got it going on.

About time you just wonder how long it will last before she starts hanging out with paris again. And shouldn’t bars not allow her in if she’s underage?

P.S. She really need to find positive people that will guide her in the right direction and jeep her away from paris or “certain” elements.
