Hugh Laurie on a Apple TV+ series?!!? Time to renew my subscription again. Along with the movie “Tenzing”.
Highly recommend Tenzing just so well done beautifully shot and the Sherpas were the real stars here.
Tenzing is a lovely film with the focus where it should be; on Tenzing
I’d love to see Gemma Chan have a shot at the Oscar’s. Her and Jon Leguizamo will be about the only ones possibly making it not a repeat of Oscar’s so white. Hope I’m wrong on that and not being too cynical.
The transparent plastic shoes traumatized me, but I’m here for the sassy skirt!
Christina Ricci FTW!! The day after the 2024 election I could barely get out of bed thinking about the cruelty to humans and animals. But I knew that the cruelty to animals would be buried and ignored. Don’t come at me with humans matter more than animals. Compassion doesn’t have to be limited. But there is one huge difference. Animal cruelty accounts for (feel free to Google) 40% of the global distribution of potable water. So, animal cruelty is actually directly linked to denying resources to humans in low resource environments. It’s impossible to live an entirely vegan existence, but even removing some percentage of mammal products from your diet and household will contribute to a healthier planet. (And no AI doesn’t use nearly as much water as the beef/leather industry.) /endrant
Hugh Laurie supports Sophie Cunningham so no thanks…
