Jesse James is planning a trip to Israel. This should be good.

jessejamesnazi

Jesse James is planning a trip to Israel! Oh, this should go really, really well. I’m being honest. I would love to see Israelis’ reactions to Jesse’s stash of Nazi fetishism, or all of those casual photos of Jesse and his friends using the “Sieg Hiel” salute. According to Jesse’s own blog post (courtesy of Us Weekly), Jesse is traveling to Israel to study under an Israeli known as “the world’s greatest blacksmith” and afterwards, Jesse is going to use his new skills to repair a rare Harley. So… it’s a work trip, not a “see, I’m not a neo-Nazi a–hole, I’ll let you take photographs while I visit the Wailing Wall” trip. And it’s all going to filmed for a History Channel special!

Just one day after UsMagazine.com revealed new anti-Semitic photos of Jesse James, the reality star blogged about an upcoming History Channel show where he travels to Israel.

On the episode Jesse James Blacksmith, the West Coast Chopper CEO, 41, studies under Uri Hofi, an Israeli man known as “the world’s greatest blacksmith.” Then James applies his new skills to rebuilding a rare 1937 Harley Davidson Knucklehead.

Last spring Us uncovered a 2004 photo of James in a German Nazi hat, and the issue currently on stands offers additional anti-Jewish images found on the facebook page of an ex-employee of West Coast Choppers.

One shot is of James smiling in a convertible next to a man in a Nazi hat flashing the “Heil Hitler” sign, and another is of children’s book character Flat Stanley dressed as Adolph Hitler.

In the past James, who announced his engagement to Kat Von D last week, denied that he was anti-Semitic; he has yet to address these new claims.

[From Us Weekly]

Even though I think Jesse probably is racist and anti-Semitic and that he probably gets turned on by Swastikas, I also think he’s probably really dumb. His excuse about being a student of history, and a particular fan of World War II-era historical artifacts, it never seemed honest, to me at least. I doubt Jesse really comprehends the scope of his offenses, or even what the Third Reich represents to many people, like, say, Jews.

Of course, I may not be giving Israel enough credit. Maybe Mossad just didn’t want to travel to West Coast Choppers, and so they tricked him into “visiting.” Very clever.

I have to choose my words carefully now.
The way I see it a lot of Americans are into the gloryfication of Third Reich, the totalism, the power, etc.
Us germans are just plainly discusted and try to forget.
When I went to the US I saw swastikas laying around in a storeshelf as “historical artifacts” and over here you go to jail if you would pose for, sell or draw a swastika.
Soooooo, not defending Jesse James in any way, but I think the topic itself is way less controversial in the US than over here. Thats why some people are just dumb fucks without actually (or necessarily) being anti-semitic.
    Do I get that right?

  2. Rita says:

Obviously he’s an idiot, but in terms of the White Supremist Movement, he is to facism what Mel Brooks (The Producers) was to Ava Braun,…a joke.

  3. brin says:

Please, don’t the Israeli people have enough problems?
First the Jersey Shore cast goes to Italy and now this pig is going to Israel.
    Fine examples of Americans.

  4. Amneh says:

    *double facepalm*

  5. Kaiser says:

Maren – That’s very true! Although I think that for many Americans who glorify this era, it’s just plain ignorance, not the willful desire to recall totalitarianism. Our pundits grossly misinterpret the history of the Third Reich, and American neo-Nazi culture is based, in my opinion, on a very selective view of Nazism.

  6. Diane says:

Maybe he’ll go “missing” in Israel.

  7. David says:

MarenGermany:That is a very good of stating the true nature of a select group of very dumb of Americans.

  8. dd says:

    ha ha thats funny
i am from israel and i cant wait to see what will happend

  9. happygirl says:

Diane – haha!!! We can only hope.

  10. Maud says:

Will he actually be allowed in to the country?

@Maren I get your point but I believe the group of Americans you refer to is very small indeed. *fingers crossed*

  11. someone says:

Maybe hes going to get married over there!!! I HOPE HE STAYS..

  12. Isa says:

Firsts let’s see if he even gets into Israel.
Why should they allow him even to study there?
Maybe he will get “deported” back to the US.
    Serves him right.

  13. cara says:

well, FOR ONCE, thank God for the massod. HOPEfully, they’ll take care of this Ugly girl chasing Nazi loving motorcylce driving fatty 😉

  14. Glyrics says:

Someone drop a dime on the guy to Homeland security. Israel can arrest him, and lose him, preferably in the desert.

  15. Dolly Llama says:

I actually felt sorry for this D Bag. Not anymore. Borderline personality much?

  16. mln76 says:

@Maren my experience is that for 90% of the american population Nazi’s aren’t glorified and considered evil and wrong. Neo-Nazism is always referred to in media as scary and fringe. I have never walked into a store and seen Nazi memorabilia for sale and I have lived in several different places across the US so I am curious where exactly you were. I do think that where I have encountered Nazi culture it’s amoung people who were either very poor and very ignorant and seriously didn’t know what it meant. Or people who were interested in shocking people by labeling themselves skinheads and incorrectly didn’t consider themselves racists. I have never encountered someone who was openly a Nazi but I know there are places where there are pockets of neo-nazism out there and that to an extent the population is growing.

  17. Bodhi says:

Mossad has WAY bigger fish to fry than a rich California gear head. I’m actually interested in seeing this special. Blacksmithing is a dying art & I’d love to see some work by the “world’s greatest”!

Edit: there is a Neo-Nazi compound in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho that makes does a huge parade thing every year & its always a media frenzy. There are also super right-wing militia compounds up in the mountains all over the west, but I doubt that any of their numbers are growing. Well, I HOPE their numbers aren’t growing…

Edit 2: Also, skinheads don’t have anything to to with racists or Neo-Nazis. Traditional (original) skinheads actually fight with the white power “boneheads”. Here is a brief history that says it better than I ever could.

    http://www.io.com/~qsb/words/faq/skin.html

I just want people to know what they are talking about…

  18. guesty says:

    *speechless*

  19. mln76 says:

@Bodhi I know there is a difference between regular skinheads and racist skin heads but I encountered people who called themselves skin heads and also were fascinated with Swaztikas.

  20. wunderkindt says:

Swastikas (the Nazi type-not the Hindu type!)and skinheads go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Let’s see if JJ dons his SS gear in Jerusalem. I have a feeling he’ll brain fart over there as much as he does over here in the US.

  21. TaylorB says:

I hope he likes full body cavity searches because El Al airline will probably have a fine time with this idiot.

  22. Bodhi says:

Oh I know, I have met them too. Most people think that all skinheads are racist, which obviously isn’t true. I was just pointing out that there is a difference.

Swastikas (the Nazi type-not the Hindu type!)and skinheads go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Not really. Neo-Nazis adopted the look from skinheads, the same way the Nazis adopted the swastika from Hinduism.

Look, I’m just trying to let folks know that there is a MAJOR difference, just as I was trying to point out that there is a major difference between bikers & biker gangs on another JJ thread. I am, in no way, shape or form, making excuses for anyone. Stereotypes of any kind are seriously detrimental to any rational discussion.

  23. MarenGermany says:

    @mnl76
maybe, when I said “a lot of americans” it came out wrong, of course I am refering to a very small group of uneducated people in your country.
and just to get that clear, we have a neo-nazi cult too over here, and they are not anti-semitic (we barely have any jews left sadly), they are plain, dumb, fucking racist who are into this whole arish-german thing.
What I was trying to say is that, since you are so far away from all of this, it is easier to view it from a different angle.
The “shocking value thing” you were talking about is also a good point. I guess that is, what its mainly about.

The place I went to was New York City and the swastikas I saw where in stores Bombshell McGee and Jesse James would go to. You know kind of the goth-fetish-piercing-tattoo parlor kind of things. Of course I am aware that they are not laying around at Target´s or Wallmarts.

And to capture that up: I love your country. I really do. But there are foul eggs in every nest, I guess.

  24. Bodhi says:

But there are foul eggs in every nest, I guess.

    Indeed, very well put!

  25. original kate says:

good lord, haven’t the people of that region suffered enough?

  26. Majosha says:

Actually a good portion of the Nazis in North Idaho were run out by the good citizens who despised their presence. I’m not saying that they still don’t exist in that region, but people up there finally had enough and took a stand. There are a lot of wonderful, peace-loving people in that part of the country who get a bad rap because of a handful of a-holes, and it’s not right.

  27. Bodhi says:

I did not know that, Majosha. Thats awesome! I love it out there & it makes me really happy that those assholes are gone

  28. cara says:

@Bohdi – it ‘Twas a joke (in re:2 the mossad) Jeeeeeeez.

Here in my newly adopted state of PA, I can’t tell you how many ignorant, hating of every other race and nationality, white folk, change and feel mighty stupid when I tell them, A) I’m not white you dumbass and you’re trying to befriend me w/such ignorance spewing from your lips, and B) if you’re STILL poor & white in America (and you didn’t loose your money from addictions, etc – you’re just finacially poor and your family has been for generations) something’s wrong with you (as many of those w/the worst and most vocal hate are Beyond trash, literally. There’s finacially poor, and still trying to maintain a certain decorum, and then there’s finacially poor with no desire to try to maintain a decent decorum.) Ya feel me.

Oh, and let me tell you, they LOVE me 😉 (not kidding)

Also, I grew up in Europe. My impression, b/c the Europeans lived first hand through WWII, and we here in America, really hadn’t…..not anywhere near how Europe was effected, thus I feel there’s a certain maturity over there as opposed to here. We (Americans) don’t know what it’s lke to have bombs dropped on us (save for PH and now 9/11 -in a sense). And b/c of that, I don’t feel we (Americans) quite understand, you know, the power of our words, the power of hate, the power of destruction.

  29. Bodhi says:

@Bohdi – it ‘Twas a joke (in re:2 the mossad) Jeeeeeeez.

I know. And I took it as such.

(I am massively bored at work, hence my being all over CB today)

  30. Majosha says:

@Bodhi: Yep, it’s definitely awesome. I had the pleasure of living up there for a few years, and never once came across a Nazi-type out and about (although I don’t doubt there are still a few cowering up in the mountains). And the people are truly among the kindest and most open-minded I’ve come across anywhere.

  31. Brittany says:

I believe he already went: http://www.tmz.com/2011/01/27/jesse-james-israel-uri-hofi-middle-east/

@Bodhi: I just texted my friend in Coeur d’Alene about this and he said he was approached by 2 guys once to join a militia! Freaky!!!

  32. GradStudentEatingHotPockets says:

@Everyone who has been posting about the difference between Americans and our friends overseas (specifically Germans)

I think it also definately depends on where you live. I now live in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood so I think people where I live are very, very aware of these issues. Growing up in a military family (my dad is a retired Col), everyone was very, very aware of these issues (and issues like racism and sexism and stuff)…but when I did my undergrad there wasn’t as much awareness. And it was the first time I heard people actually use the word “Jew” as a verb…which was really weird.

But I think not only are we (as Americans) more removed from the situation, but there are for sure some communities that are ignorant about this subject. Bleeeeeehh

  33. craigc says:

    How UGLY is this guy??

  34. KitchenDancer says:

I’m probably in the minority here – but I actually don’t think Jesse James is a true racist and anti-semite (with the hatred and intolerance).

I think he’s just kind of a dumb f*ck in the same vein as the frat guys who “joke” with their non-athletic friends that they “throw like a girl” aren’t truly misogynists, and guys who “joke” that something is “so gay” to mean pathetic aren’t necessarily homophobic. It’s the kind of behaviour and word choice that’s in terrible taste and should be actively discouraged for sure. At the same time, it doesn’t necessarily reflect the mindset of someone who would commit/encourage any kind of violence against one of these populations.

  35. Dany says:

In my family there were almost no men left – because the Nazis killed them. Not because they were Jews or Gipsies or because of the color of their skin, no. They were “only” fighting against being absorbed into that killing machine called III.Reich. They have been court-martialled and shot, they died in concentration camps and all they owned had been robbed by people wearing swastikas.

I do not understand why people don’t get it that Nazis and all that stuff around them is no joke. For the majority of Germans (and I’m sure I could say mankind) a swastika or a Star of David is a symbol of killing, of unimaginable cruelties and it’s blood stained. You don’t want to use it as a DECORATION like JJ and his morons!

Oh – and something else. These guys who are thinking how f u n n y it is to show the “Sieg Heil” etc. … they would have had a good chance to have been killed by their “heroes”.

Sorry, Kaiser. I had to give vent to my feelings. 🙂

  36. wunderkindt says:

    @Bodhi
BTW: There ARE Nazi Skinheads, yes, they do use the swastika as a symbol.

  37. Hakura says:

@KitchenDancer – I can see that as a possibility. I know my younger brother (who’s 18) says many of the things you mentioned (that should definitely be discouraged), all the time. (It always pisses me off.)

I can say with absolute certainty that he doesn’t have ‘hate’ of any sort towards another race, but… he occasionally uses words that would cause someone to think differently. & has been known to use the term ‘gay’ & ‘Fag’ to mean something negative. I still get upset with him over it, but unfortunately that’s how all his friends talk, too.

While Jesse’s behavior & habits piss me off, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if the cause of his stupid decision was simply… that he’s a fucking idiot. But now I admit that I’m not so sure if that could be applied to Kat…after seeing that ‘message’ she wrote to her previous boss.

  38. Bodhi says:

    @Bodhi
BTW: There ARE Nazi Skinheads, yes, they do use the swastika as a symbol.

I know that. What I said was Neo-Nazis adopted the look from skinheads, the same way the Nazis adopted the swastika from Hinduism.

Many Neo-Nazis “stole the look” from the traditional/original skinheads. Traditional/original skinheads have nothing to do with racism or Nazism. Feel free to read over the link I posted. It is a great brief history of skinheads & the movement.

@Brittnay Thats awful! I would have been terrified! I’m glad those groups have moved on & I bet your friend is too!

  39. xxodettexx says:

dang it, looks like i missed a great conversation on ignorance! 🙂

  40. REALIST says:

Yes, the Mossad can save the trip! Good one, Kaiser!
Every time I turn on the History Channel it’s WW-II this and WW-II that. Why in the world would they film this? No more history (WW-II or otherwise) to review?

  41. LittleDeadGirl says:

Hmm, an interesting view point. My experience has been that while America’s part in World War II has been glorified I’ve never seen Nazi’s or Hitler being glorified in any way. 95% of people discuss it in terms of it being despicable or horrible. The only place I’ve seen swastikas are usually on gang members. I’ve lived in both Europe and the U.S and the only difference I’ve seen is that in Europe you can’t make any joke when it comes to WWII … where as in the U.S have SOME leeway (but far from the nazi’s being taken lightly). Not saying good or bad just different.

KitchenDancer: I have to agree with you. It’s possible he is truly antisemtic but I can also see it being a stupid joke with his friends. I just have a hard time seeing him as being this very racist guy and being married to Sandra Bullock. She’d have to be too … than again he seems like a moron and I had a hard time seeing her married to a moron so maybe we are giving HER too much credit.

  42. Hmmm says:

I am Jewish. When I travelled to Israel with my synagogue group, we were all individually interrogated by a profiler ( I didn’t know at the time that that’s what he was); this was at a connecting flight in the States enroute to Israel.

It’s hard to imagine James would be allowed to travel to Israel. There has to be a dossier on him.

I also think he’s talking through his hat. But maybe he’s that arrogant/naive/stupid/ignorant/a liar.

  43. Trippin says:

Sorry Bodhi but the Skinheads racist, not racist thread takes the focus off of stupid ass Jesse. Why are we now so worried about hurting the Skinheads’ feelings? And how many Skinheads blog on Celebitchy? My problem is with JJ who is too old and too famous to be soo stupid. I’m sure some damn spin doctor met with History Channel bigwigs and said let’s send Jesse to Israel to improve his image. You just now Kat Von D is going too.

  44. Sarah J-Town says:

Let him come, I’d love to have a go at him 🙂 I’ll spike his drink and lock him in the holocaust museum for the weekend 🙂 🙂 🙂

  45. Bodhi says:

No need to apologize to me. I was just trying to educate.

  46. kate says:
