Jesse James tell all: if it’s trashy and/or he’s genuinely contrite will you read it?

wenn5595420

We rarely cover a story that we’ve already featured as the lead link, but I want to write about this so badly it makes me itch. I love how Lainey covered this story in that her defense of Sandra Bullock’s naivete was almost poetic. In Lainey’s take she explains the fact that Sandra didn’t get a confidentiality agreement with her divorce declaration as another example of how Sandra trusted the slimebag, even after she was so publicly betrayed, up until the very end. Sandra pushed the divorce through in order to finalize her adoption of Louis, and by many accounts she was still talking to James and expected him to do the right thing. Of course he’s not going to, and is going to try and continue to humiliate her.

So Jesse James got a book deal with Simon and Schuster that will “divulge intimate details about his marriage to Sandra Bullock and his engagement to Kat von D.” I want to know what James is going to write exactly, and if he’s going to get into the detail of what he did day in and day out with various strippers and tattoo models on that coffin couch when he was supposed to be running a business. How is he going to explain that away, and how is he going to explain his fascination with the Third Reich? That’s neo-nazism and it goes way beyond an interest in history, just as his banging the lowest of the low goes way beyond seeking women to advertise his clothing and custom car business.

If Jesse owned up to his behavior, if he admitted to the crazy, self destruction, cruel sh*t he did to his family and to women over a span of months and years, only then I would read his book. You know that’s not going to happen, though. All he could manage in his Nightline interview were some crocodile tears and a trumped up unsupported story of childhood abuse, as if that explained away his behavior. Then he got engaged to a woman on his level and announced that 2010, the year he was exposed as a serial cheating conniving bastard was “The best year of my life.” Well all we can say to that is that it’s probably all downhill from here. He’s going to marry someone as manipulative as he is, and she’s not going to be much to come home to after he’s done picking up randoms on the Internet and in strip clubs when he’s supposed to be working. He’s met his match, though, and I can’t wait to see how fast and how publicly this relationship with Kat Von D implodes. You know it’s coming. They’ve already broken up at least once.

The sad thing is, this guy still has kids that live with him and depend on him, and he’s managed to alienate just about all the women in his life.

As I was reading through our exhaustive past coverage of this scumbag I found this story from June of last year in which In Touch reported that Jesse was fielding book offers back then. In Touch reported that “Jesse would never in a million years say a bad word about Sandra. He just wants to take responsibility, and explain why he did what he did.” So basically he’s going to repeat his Nightline “I was terrorized as a kid,” but it wasn’t physical abuse performance to make a bunch of excuses for himself, only this time he’ll get a ghostwriter to try and create some sort of interesting story out it. I think I’ll take a pass. He should go for the trashy details.

  1. devilgirl says:

Hell no, I wouldn’t read a book about him.

  2. Violet says:

no i wouldn’t read it. and i like to think sandra bullock didn’t enforce a confidentiality clause because she doesn’t have any dirty secrets.

  3. Jane says:

There’s a blind item that Sandra knew about and even participated in his nasty sexual shenanigans, with swastikas involved. If he spills I wonder how many people will believe it.

  4. tanguerita says:

He isn’t getting a penny from me. Such a douchebag.

  5. sickofit says:

sandy must be sweating right now. if the last BI is true. does he need money? kinda sounds like extortion to me in a not so subtle way…

  6. Statler says:

If it’s smutty enough I just *might* read it. But I’d never buy it.

  7. lin234 says:

I like Lainey’s take on it too. I mean there are guys out there that have had a secret family! You can see what you want when you’re in love.

It’s still a mystery why he bothered with Sandra in the first place and vice versa. He clearly has a type.

Just based off how inappropriate his comment was about 2010 being the best year of his life, his book will probably be a huge sob fest. After all, his businesses do depend on his popularity.

  8. Rita says:

    Co-sign @Devilgirl

Why should we think people who “own up” to their long term behavior or apologize because they got caught have suddenly developed a better character. Charlie Sheen has it right; don’t like it, f’-off. At least its honest but nothing else.

  9. Marjalane says:

I wouldn’t bother to read the book, but I am curious as to why Sandra Bullock should automatically get this benefit of the doubt, free pass; that she was this horribly betrayed, naive wife who knew nothing of her husband’s ways. I’ve been married far too long to believe that she didn’t know what was going on. That is, if she was paying any attention at all to her own marriage!

  10. Dorothy#1 says:

    No I won’t read it.

Did anyone notice the tattoo on his hand where he is holding the bag?? LOL Kinda girlie right?

  11. Johnny Depp's Girl says:

@lin 234 I feel ya.. Why did he bother with Sandra? I never got that either.

No, if I want to read trash, I will go to TMZ.com for free.

  12. Jackson says:

No, I wouldn’t read it. I have no interest in him or what he has to say.

  13. AngelMay says:

Poeple keep secrets but I don’t think you can be married to someone and not know he’s a racist. That’s hard to hide in day to day life.

Not sure about that blind item, but JJ must have something on Sandra, otherwise her people would be able to shut him up?

Lainey pretends Jake G is straight. She is nauseatingly sappy about people she likes.

  14. lucy2 says:

I won’t read it, don’t want to give a penny to that a-hole.

He’s writing about his engagement to that Kat girl? 10 bucks says they break up or marry/divorce by the time the book is published.

  15. Ari says:

No interest whatsoever. Basically all that was even remotely interesting about was Sandra Bullock and I don’t want to re-read how he f-ed that one up.

  16. Isabel says:

    Not a chance in hell.

  17. Praise St. Angie! says:

“10 bucks says they break up or marry/divorce by the time the book is published.”

you’re too generous. I would say “by the time it goes to press”.

  18. shockedandappalled says:

Hell to the no. Won’t purchase/read/consume anything being sold by this guy. Horrible.

  19. Moreaces says:

I would not buy/read this book even if Angelina Jolie said she would set by my bed and read it to me everynight before I went to sleep..

  20. Moreaces says:

God, as I scroll back up to the pictures, you have to think, What the H E Double L was Sandra thinking, this guy looks like the scum of the earth

  21. emine says:

it is no secret that some good girls are attracted to really bad guys and i think this is the case with Sandra and Jessie and i understand her cause i used to be like that too but no matter how sweet and naive of a woman you are i think it is beyond impossible to live with a man under the same roof for years and not know what a jerk he is , i am sorry to say this , because i know the majority of you are fans of Sandra , but maybe the dark side of him was what really attracted her to him because i dont see him excelling in the looks department

  22. SHump says:

Hello, it’s called a library, and I will read it there for free at some point, but no, this scumbag isn’t getting a single pence from me.

  23. someone says:

That would be an astounding NO!

  24. mln76 says:

I don’t give a flying fig what he has to say. Not reading it.

  25. Cherry Rose says:

No. It’s just going to be a guy trying to make money off being a douche, so why would I want to read or buy into that?

  26. someone says:

for those of you who say “how could Sandy not know about him after living with him for years”..does anyone remember the BTK killer???? he was married for many years, had kids, was a pastor at his local church for years..and no one knew anything about his other life..so yeah..it can happen..and Im not comparing the BTK killer to Jesse by any means, but it does show what people can hide when they want to.

  27. danielle says:

Nope. Will not read a book by him.

  28. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@lin234 ITA. My dad (a career politician, who was well known within our community) had an affair and a child with a woman who lived in the same town as me and my mother. My mother didn’t find out about the affair for 7 years and we didn’t find out about the kid for another 13 years. She was preoccupied with her career and thought she knew him well enough to trust him. I’m thinking it went much the same way for Sandra.

  29. mln76 says:

@someone I think that in general people in these situations ignore signs because they don’t want to see them. I think she let herself get tricked by him and tried her best not to find out what he was really like so that she didn’t have to confront his dark side. It’s called denial.

  30. emine says:

@ someone -he had plenty of evidence of him being a nazi in his office at their home and at work , as kaiser mentioned last year here on celebitchy

  31. bagladey says:

Do the people who are interested in Jesse James even read books?

  32. LindaR says:

There won’t be any need to read it. Celebitchy will report on the most interesting details anyway, if there are any.

  33. sapphire says:

HELL no-for all the reason stated above. Also, I would even have to run out of gardening catalogues and newspaper flyers before I would even have the time.

  34. original kate says:

i am tired of these famewhores getting book deals when there are so many hard-working, talented writers who will never get a book deal. so no, i will not read it.

  35. Quest says:

JJ, Britol,Snookie, JWoW, the Biebs is everyone allowed to write memoirs now?????

They can write all they want but I ain’t buying

  36. bluhare says:

I probably wouldn’t, but then I don’t buy tell alls for the most part.

But I’m with the Sandy Had to Know Something club. People can hide things (ala Ted Bundy, etc etc) but this was someone whose extramarital antics were common knowledge, whispers about it were around before they got divorced, etc etc., so I don’t think she was totally in the dark about the white supremacist angle.

  37. the original bellaluna says:

Off topic, but I recently saw some older pix of KvD, and she is barely recognisable. WTH did she do to her face?! It looks…elongated. Or is that her head?

  38. MiMi says:

Oh come on guys — Kat is not going to marry this fool. Ok? I’m betting they call it off….

  39. Cha Cha Loca says:

So not interested. These 2 skanks need to just disappear already. They probably have all of 5 brain dead fans between them.

  40. Gal says:

You’ll be able to buy it in the bargain bin soon after its published. I wouldn’t buy it then either. Scum. I used to like him even before he got with Sandra. And even more so when he was with her. Sad indeed.

  41. Sassy says:

I felt that Sandra tarnished her image when she married him. It may get worse. I saw the blind item also. Who knows?

  42. REALIST says:

It will be total trash just like Jesse himself and I will not read it…

  43. Crash2GO2 says:

No way. I wouldn’t want anything of that man anywhere near me, much less his words in my brain.

  44. Shay says:

Sorry but I don’t buy the entire ‘Sandra is innocent’ story. She was married to him for a few years, she knew what she was marrying (his past with sordid porn star Janine, etc) and I doubt she didn’t know about his penchant for Nazi memorabilia. There will probably be a few shockers that come out about Sandra.
It’s like Meg Ryan, years ago she was what Sandra is today, ‘America’s sweetheart/romcom actress’, and then Meg Ryan was revealed for what she was. When you portray yourself or when studios portray you as being squeaky clean (like Britney, Miley,Lindsay) chances are you go the opposite way or were never that clean to begin with. The same with Sandra Bullock.

  45. Cherry Rose says:

Like I said, Sandra could have glimsped into something, but Jesse could have easily lied straight to her face about it and she, being trusting (after all, isn’t that what marriage is, trust?) believed him.

Many men in marriages hide things so easily from their spouses, all because the wives have no reason to suspect that their husbands are doing that thing, or play down what they’re doing, and the wife, afraid to lose them, doesn’t do anything about it, in order to save the marriage.

I’ve seen many friends find something that disturbs them about their husband, but then their husband lie straight to their face about them, and they believe them, either out of fear of knowing, or because they don’t believe they could really be that way.

  46. MyKosmo says:

One thing I noticed during the fallout is that Jesse isn’t very bright overall. Therefore, lower your expectations of him. Knowing this, I am indeed surprised that Sandra fell for him; however, nothing he could say about her today could ever hold a candle to the way in which he has behaved and so publicly humiliated his family. His bad choices, his lack of integrity and concern for his wife and family is something we will never forget.

  47. Hakura says:

Won’t be buying that book. I’m sure someone online will put up anything of interest & save us the trouble. This makes me wonder if the only reason he’s kept the info hinted at by the BI to himself, is because he planned to use it in such a way that he could profit more.

I’m completely on the fence about Sandra’s possibly knowing about his tendencies (or as the blind item suggests, participating in them). It would explain how they ended up together in the first place, as that’s something I’ve never understood. He really does have a type, which Sandra doesn’t appear to be anywhere near.

  48. harfang says:

Yanno, I respected Kat Von D before she took up with this guy. She was unique, she seemed bright, she was super hot. Anyway no, he doesn’t get my money either.

  49. Shelby says:

Him and Kat are both disguesting displays of human beings…they were probably sleeping together while he was married…why else would she be so in love with him so quickly…i hope they both disappear off the face of the earth…his book is going to be a joke…no one care if he was abused(which i think is bs anyways)…that doesnt excuse any of his behavior…maybe he should have gotten his ass beat more than he did…he’s a joke and so is kat…

  50. Hakura says:

@HarFang“…I respected Kat Von D before she took up with this guy. She was unique, she seemed bright, she was super hot. Anyway no, he doesn’t get my money either.”

I respected Kat at first, because she was a wonderful artist (& it was especially impressive to me that she could translate her work into the tattoo medium.) But she lost said respect long before taking up with Jesse.

All the compliments & attention on her took it’s toll, making her unbearably conceited, a complete bitch with a major superiority complex. She treats the people around her (even those who she’s known a very long time) like garbage.

As far as I’m concerned, she & Jesse deserve each other. We’ll all get the last laugh when it implodes, & it’s Kat who’ll write a tell-all.

  51. Cirque28 says:

I’d stand in the bookstore and briefly skim.

I think Sandra Bullock is probably not perfect, but I could see her not knowing.

As they age, many bad boys learn to present themselves to women as EX-bad boys. You buy into the con that now he’s a total sweetheart, a perfect gentleman who expresses deep regret about the stuff he USED to do. And (when appropriate) he laughs ruefully at the crazy kid he USED to be. It can seem very real.

Which sometimes it is. Only time will tell.
