Are Chris Brown and Rihanna secretly tweeting love notes to each other?

It’s amazing (that is, sickening) that Chris Brown is still in demand after all of his ongoing and unrepentant, sociopathic behavior. Yet after beating up Rihanna (and she’s still a fan), freaking out and smashing windows, making homophobic comments, and habitually parking in disable spaces, people are still willing to pay him money. Hence his New Year’s eve gig at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, where he sucked face with his new model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran at midnight; sang a few hip-hop songs; and acted like his generally “Breezy” self (whatever that means):

Honestly, I don’t understand the “Breezy” nickname. Is it something that he came up with himself, or does it refer to the sound his fists make when they fly through the air? No telling, really. In the meantime, a bit of a Twitter controversy has sprung up for watchers of both Chris and Rihanna’s accounts. These “love” messages were spaced just moments apart and would indicate a possible “secret” affection that is ongoing between the former couple:

It’s been a long road between these two. And we mean long. Also, bumpy.

After the highly publicized 2009 assault, which we all wish we could forget but will always remember, Rihanna and Chris Brown’s tumultuous relationship seems to have struck up again after the former couple each posted tweets about love that appeared to be directed toward the other.

The Twitter mystery (brought to our attention by Nicky Geezy from Power 106) started when Breezy posted, “Love U more than u know!”

Two minutes later, Ri-Ri responded with, “I’ll always love you #1love.”

Coincidence? Maybe, but that’s hard to believe. Rihanna has already defended why she even follows Brown on Twitter and has shared that she’s still a “fan” of his and “excited” for his comeback, which is fine. We get it.

But what’s going on here? Is the duo thinking about rekindling their romance or are these tweets totally unrelated? Was it just a little something to get off their chest or is this their way of making something public? So many questions!

That’s not all.

Earlier this month, Brown’s mother tweeted, “HELLO LADY I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!” And Rihanna tweeted shortly after, “Miss+Love u 2”

[From E! Online]

Yeah, we already know that Chris’ mom (along with Rihanna’s cousins) is gunning for Rihanna to take Chris back, but her handlers know better than to let that happen for the sake of Rihanna’s career. And like I’ve said before, if it takes Rihanna’s management to keep her out of harm’s way, than so be it. Mostly, I think that Chris and Rihanna know that they could never be a couple again, and they’re probably just screwing with all of us by sending these well-timed love notes in a public venue. Otherwise, isn’t this exactly the sort of thing for which direct messaging was invented?

Besides, Chris is otherwise spoken for in a romantic sense. Yes, there are women who are still dumb enough to date this known abuser. Here’s a photo of Chris and Karrueche shopping in Los Angeles on 12/4. She’s a tiny little thing, ain’t she?

Here’s Rihanna (nowhere near Chris) on New Year’s Eve in Miami.

    Rihanna is a fool.

  2. Mu says:

They are not hooking up again. Rihanna spend New Year’s in company of her other ex, Matt Kemp… this is the 2nd time they are spotted together in recent months, btw.

  3. Alejandro says:

Rihanna just likes to f around with fans and blogs. She knows what she’s doing.

  4. Paula says:

They are both disgusting! They deserve each other!

    • Marjalane says:

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Chris Brown, Michael Vick, Roman Polanski; It’s amazing what is forgivable in our shallow society.

      • Chellez says:

michael vick in the company of a woman beater and child rapist?! are you fkn KIDDING me?? He’s the only one in that group that paid dearly for his crimes and has shown true remorse. replace him with ben roethlesberger, an accused serial rapist and groper. ugh!

Many battered women lack the self esteem to get away from their attackers which is why many go back . Rihanna grew up in an abusive home with an asshole father. I believe her culture domestic violence is more accepted . I hope there are people around her preventing her from going back but it could take years for her to change her own patterns.

    • Cirque28 says:

Agreed. And for a woman caught in that cycle, being sneered at for it by so-called normal/healthy/non-abusive people is as damaging as encouraging her to return to the abuser.

  6. Rook says:

Is she wearing Umbros and high heels? WTF? Do Umbros even still exist? Does she have Z Cavariccis too?

  7. Sw says:

They both suck. He obviously shouldn’t have hit her (obviously) but she’s not entirely innocent either. I mean, come on! She admits that she started hitting him first. Again, what he did was wrong but why do we forget that she is also an abuser?!

    • TheOriginalVictoria says:

Oh yes, Big Bad Rihanna’s punch was so hard vicious, Chris Brown had to withdraw from public so no one would see his battered and bruised face?

I can’t believe are trying, to use the, “she hit him first” excuse. What is wrong with this world?

And seriously the term Breezy has a double meaning; it implies that Chris is taking everything as light as the wind’ breeze. He’s blows all the hate off his shoulders. Hence, the breezy. But it’s also popular in the “urban” culture to put an eezy on names. Kanye is Kan-Yeezy, Lil’ Wayne started this I believe when he referred to himself as Weezy as in “Weezy F Baby, please save the baby.”

      • Erinn says:

It wasn’t right for her to hit him either though. Yes, he did a shit load of worse damage to her, but if she DID hit him first, she’s also an abuser. I think they’re both trash, but he certainly isn’t the sole reason for the relationship being as screwed up as it was. Again, he beat her to a pitiful pulp which is just beyond horrible, but I don’t think that because she got more damage that her abuse to him doesn’t count. I’m not trying to stick up the the abuser, but for the poster you were replying to. They weren’t justifying Chris’ actions, but merely pointing out that Ri was wrong too. It doesn’t matter if your punch isn’t hard enough to leave a lot of damage- a hit is a hit.

Stop making up your own quotes just to make a point. Never did she ever say she hit him. I don’t know why people try to re write history. It is even more stupid when people can easily pull the interviews for themselves to see exactly what was said. I have watched her 20/20 interview 3(once on TV, twice on YT) times and she NEVER said that. Stop with the lies. If you have to make up shit just to defend somebody, maybe you shouldn’t be defending them.

      • TheOriginalVictoria says:

Are you referring to me? Because I don’t believe that Rihanna was abusive towards Chris Brown but I do believe that if things got heated and physical she fought back.

  8. BlackMamba says:

Enty revealed a blind regarding Matt Kemp breaking up with RiRi because she was cheating on him with Chris. Everybody knows that they have been seeing each other in secret.

  11. Beatriz says:

whenever I read the name “Breezy” I can’t help but think of farts.

  12. Peg says:

He’s a creepy, crazy sociopath. More like Creezy, than Breezy.

  13. Natalia says:

I don’t Care what nobody say I think Rihanna and Chris should go back out. Yes her hit her, but the type of person Chris is that was just a reflex. You could tell that they want each other back. 10 times out of 10, 100% positive Chris Brown would not go back down that rode again, seeing the trouble that he has gone through and the things that changed around him from that incident. Chris go for it and get your girl Rihanna back.

Wow that is the stupidest post I have ever read, from spelling to content. Go back to school. Oh, and learn some self-respect and how a man should treat a woman while you’re at it.
