What isn’t successful? Zac’s love life. He spent the summer surprising everyone by hooking up with Michelle Rodriguez. I think she’s hotter than he is, but together? Blazing hot. The two vacationed together in Italy for the 4th of July weekend. Then Zac and Michelle were papped kissing on a yacht. Further reports indicated that MRod and Zac were periodic hookup buddies since 2011. It felt like a summer romance but a worthy one. Now it’s all over as soon as it began. Us says that Zac and Michelle had a blowout fight and called everything off:

During that steamy getaway, the Neighbors hunk unforgettably went shirtless while horseback riding in Sardinia. Once returning to the States, he was photographed leaving Rodriguez’s home after a sleepover on July 20.
The unlikely couple were last photographed together cuddling in Ibiza on Aug. 2. Before going their separate ways, the stars went swimming, walked on the beach and relaxed on a yacht.

Am I alone in my disappointment? I wanted these two to last. They were a very unlikely pair and probably a load of trouble for Zac’s sobriety. Yet they’re both such attractive people, and Michelle carries loads of charisma. Zac, not so much. Well, except for the shirtless horseback riding. That was hilariously awesome.

The relationship seemed to be built on their mutual enjoyment of illegal substances. They both needed to seperate and get sober. I tend to think Zac has more of a positive support system than Michelle at this point. More people to tell him to get clean.
Side point. People assuming he’s gay is a great example of people making a big deal out of celebs preferences. It shouldn’t even come into play here. That people speculate this even in this mild-ish setting shows there’s still reason to hide it and that people still will out you for headlines.

I can’t speak to an alleged contract. And from how these 2 acted in this whirlwind fling it didn’t seem like business as much as it seemed like 2 addicts indulging themselves because they could.
As far as the gay rumors i’m refering to the many that plague these threads. I think above a coment even says sugar daddy. You can’t deny people assume this and discuss it. Calling any girl he’s with a beard and such.
The point i’m trying to make is that it shouldn’t even matter. That it is brought up and discussed or that people are still fearful to be honest to themselves in public says a lot.
I’d have more respect for him if he is gay and would just say it to stop the rumors. Of course, no one has to declare their orientation – other than actors apparently – so it’s just to stop the rumor mill. She came out as bi a while ago, if memory serves me.

I live for the day when it’s just “marriage”, not “gay marriage”. Not in my lifetime, I regretfully think.
No one is saying is he should talk about his sexual orientation, problem is he keeps shoving his relationships down our throats , and by doing such he stirs people speculation, so I think it’s fair game to say that I’m not buying it because I think he is gay. Well put. That it’s not simply marriage says a lot about the times we live in. I just get a little irked when I hear or read about celebs afraid to come out, outed against their will. Then people rant about how unfortunate they were outed to begin with.
Then it’s a complete flip and rumors come out and everyone speculates in such a way you’d think it’s fact reading it. That it’s discussed at such length and volume at all shows there’s still a market for revealing their private lives.
That ‘sugar daddy’ stuff was also used by Lainey in a blind but apparently that man has been linked to Michelle in the past. Zac also left early August and never came back despite the business man saying on his social media ‘see you soon’ or something.

I do think this is contractual. I don’t think Zac is gay. Rather, I think this was arranged to attract publicity over something that wasn’t his drug problems.
I would think this was a terrible pr move then. If you’re with Michelle R. Chances are you’re into drugs. She hasn’t been shy about her hobbies. If that was the case I think they could have found nearly anyone else to pair with Zac and make him look healthy and clean again.

Efron did plenty of PR stunts to make people forget he was at Skid Row, how he broke his jaw etc. He was lucky he had film projects coming out and he was papped with one of his co-stars and Lily Collins, both sweet ‘wholesome’ girls. To suggest that making out with trainwreck MR is contractual when it doesn’t benefit either of them, seems unlikely.
Seems like a summer fling that fizzled out just like Cara and MR early summer fling.

I never bought them as a genuine couple either. They have the same circle of close, high profile friends that they socialize with…Robert Pattinson, Nicholas Jerecki, Mohamad Al-Turki, Marilyn Manson…so why not recruit a close, famous friend to fake a summer romance to distract the public from all the recent drug related bad press following him. Repeated rehab stints for alcohol and cocaine abuse plus the mysterious broken jaw incident and hanging out in a known drug deal area late at night resulting in him getting beat up was not good press for him. Another thing that didn’t ring true…how they both happily courted the paps during their “romance”. In the past, Michelle R was never happy to see paps following her around and would usually flip them off or swear at them. But with Zac, she made herself readily available to them so they could get some good money shots to back up their fake romance.
