Lindsay Lohan & Aliana Lohan are so mad at Jennifer Lawrence right now

wenn23280449

As predicted, no celebrity can use Lindsay Lohan’s name as a punchline without feeling the cracked-out backlash. A few nights ago, Jennifer Lawrence appeared on The Late Show. J-Law ended up talking about how her body shuts down when she’s under too much stress, and she’s always in a cycle of puking and passing out. These were J-Law’s words:

“I puked yesterday. I’m a puker. I’m a big-time puker. I think I have, like, nervous…I think that I don’t stop working, because I’m a show pony. I don’t have a choice. So, I just keep going, I think, until eventually my body’s just like, ‘If we don’t make her barf or pass out, she won’t stop.’ I get, like, Lindsay Lohan grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol. I’m always in bed early, but I’m still tired.”

The Lindsay Lohan line would have been funnier if it was 2010. But we’re in 2015, and Lindsay is sort of past being a cracked-out punchline and she’s become just… sad. Like, she’s so sad that I barely even cover her anymore, even if we have new photos of her. Still, Lindsay is Lindsay and the Lohans are the Lohans. So as soon as an A-lister even breathed the words “Lindsay Lohan,” a Lohan had to jump on it. Lindsay’s little sister Aliana tweeted this:

Much eyeroll. And then Lindsay took it next-level by tweeting out this magnificent quote from Maya Angelou’s “Still I Rise.”

Lindsay Lohan is a black woman now, I think. Keep in mind that this is the same Lindsay Lohan who allegedly said this about Jennifer Lawrence: “She’s so fake and I’m sorry I’m not going to f–k for roles.” Dear Lindsay Lohan: you should learn how to support others and not be a trash-talking trainwreck.

  1. Deesquared says:

Wow, that picture of Lindsey is so sad.

    • Little Darling says:

Exactly! So much sad in it, from a woman who had so much potential and had so much vibrancy in her first few movies. She looks like a watery, cocoa dusted mess. And she doesn’t look happy or positive like she claims she is.

I’m just tired of her always playing a major victim. She reminds me of Kim Richards. It’s always someone else who causes her life problems. Never her. And if some own makes an observation about something we’ve all seen, we are the horrible people for pointing it out.

But Kaiser you CALLED IT, the countdown started as soon as you said it would!

If only Jennifer Lawrence hadn’t added the “alcohol and drugs” but merely implied it with the “exhaustion”. Lindsey Lohan levels of exhaustion would be something we all would have gotten the reference to. I don’t even think she was trying to make a joke, I think she was using a poor example of the way her body shut down.

Eh, I take it as Jennifer throwing Lindsay a bone and some free publicity.

      • debs says:

Yeah, it wasn’t even a joke imo. She was using it as a descriptor, as in the type of exhaustion that literally lays you out.

    • funcakes says:

It’s shows that people have a kind heart to feel sorry for Lindsay. But if you go back through the archives you will notice that she had many of chances to redeem herself as an adult. People has thrown work Lindsay’s way and all she’s ever done is piss it all away. Even teenage actors know to emancipate themselves when they have crappy parents surrounding them
Lindsay has fallen into that all familiar pattern of getting people to feel sorry for her so she can manipulate them.
As for Jennifer she thinks we all live in a bubble and only remember things all J Law. She was the it girl for awhile and time is ticking on the relavency clock. Remember how Anne Hathaway, Stewart, Aniston, and Kate Hudson were so beloved?

      • msw says:

I feel sorry for her because she is broken. No one deserves the personal Hell Lindsay is in, even though a lot of it is her own doing. Having sympathy or empathy doesn’t mean I give her a pass. It means I see how she made the choices she did, even if understanding context doesn’t excuse her multitude of problems.

  2. Word says:

    Sad clown is sad..

  3. JenniferJustice says:

No, Lindsay you won’t f— for roles, just drugs, furs, jewelry, and a bed to sleep in…a bed that probably needs it’s sheets changed – like yesterday.

How old is little sister now? She looks like a hard 40-something, like Joan Jett. Sorry Joan. You’re allowed and we love you.

    • tealily says:

Hey, Joan’s almost 60. She’d probably take that as a compliment!

    • Sumodo1 says:

Joan Jett looks great and has made a bundle on the stock market.

    • Bread and Circuses says:

Something nice: I was thinking Ali looks quite pretty. Some people do look older than they are (Florence from Florence and the Machine, for example) just like some people look younger than they are (Ariana Grande, for example). I don’t think Ali looks older than she is due to drugs and partying (like some members of her family); I think it’s just the way her face is made.

  4. swack says:

Whatever happened to Ali’s modeling career? What is she even doing now and who is supporting her? We know who is supporting Lindsay.

    • Melly says:

I was wondering the same thing. From the picture it looks like she’s really embarrassing a white-trash look

      • outhousecat says:

I don’t know if you meant to say it that way but “embarrassing a white trash look” made me just about spew onto the keyboard. I live in rural NC and I know the white trash look. Believe me, the way Ali looked IS an embarrassment to white trash.

    • debs says:

Apparently Ali’s going back to her music “career”, which anyone who watched their E! reality show can guess how that’s going to turn out.

  5. Deana says:

The girls never stood a chance with those monstrous parents.

    • Lady D says:

She can rise above, she chooses not to.

      • JFresh says:

She tried, she fell down again. It is really hard to break through that kind of early conditioning and family patterns like that, especially yikes after such repeated public exposure.

      • kimbers says:

Trudat! She’s done some stuff…remember charlie sheen paid off her HUGE tax bill a while back? Out of the goodness of his heart 😉

    • Erinn says:

Other people have monstrous parents and go on to make something of themselves. Or at the very least TRY. This girl is a professional victim who’s been given chance after chance. After a while, all those chances being given, and her continuing the bad behavior sits solely on her.

  6. Patricia says:

I don’t really get your comment about her being a black woman now. Maya Angelou is and should be an inspiration to all people. As a white woman I should feel totally comfortable to draw from her words when they suit my situation. Strange comment.

Otherwise I agree, Lynds is just sad at this point. The whole family must have been completely thrilled when her name fell out of Jennifer’s mouth.

    • tealily says:

I think Kaiser means that the “hatefulness” Angelou was referring to was not about someone calling out her alcohol/drug use, but about real problems.

    • funcakes says:

Lindsay and Leann Rimes love to defend themselves with Maya when they should really relate more to William H. Burroughs. But they would have to read more.

  7. SusanneToo says:

Why be upset? It got her publicity.

    • zoem says:

I don’t get the Angelou comment either, totally unnecessary. Jennifer Lawrence was out of line and is not as funny or endearing as her image suggests.

      • Alex says:

I would say it was out of line if Lindsay had not said something worse about Jen first. So yea I’m playing my tiny violin

  8. Narak says:

She needs to stop blowing kisses, it’s awful.

  9. Bettyrose says:

Now I’m starting to wonder if JLaw didn’t purposely through some publicity Lindsay’s way as a favor.

  10. antipodean says:

Lindsay should be thanking the good lord that Jennifer Lawrence even remembers her name, let alone gives her a free mention on a high visibility show. It’s the most publicity she’s had in ages.

  11. Annie says:

Lindsay is just a disaster. Everything about her is a mess. She lost all her goodwill over a decade ago, lost her looks to her lifestyle at a rapid pace in the past decade and now just clings to shreds of fame through other people. It’s sad. When she wakes up she still has to be Lindsay Lohan; orange, broke, dumb and fish faced. When Jennifer Lawrence wakes up she gets to be Jennifer Lawrence! No more “rising” for Ol Lindsay. She will just keep sinking.

  12. Zaid says:

Tbh it was always sad. She never stood a chance.
I always had hopes of seeing the bright eyed and fresh face again, but I guess that’s lost forever.

    • NeNe says:

      Good riddance.

    • swack says:

But she has had SO many opportunities to change her life around and she just threw them out the window. So I don’t feel sorry for her at all. People with less money and worse conditions and parents have risen above it.

    • doofus says:

      “She never stood a chance.”

yes, she did. she stood several. every time someone offered her help (like Tina Fey or Oprah). every time she was given rehab over jail. every time a judge gave her an extension to finish her community service hours.

she chose NOT to take those chances and continue her lying, thieving, drinking/drugging/partying way of life. she could have had a good career. while not the best of actresses, she had charisma and she was beautiful. now, she’s just a has-been who looks older than her years, relegated to being a professional “escort”.

      • Zaid says:

She’s sick. She’s probably an addict and alcoholic, probably depressed as well, who had way too many yes men when she was younger, yes, she made stupid decisions and mistakes but I will not put the whole fault on her.
Getting off alcohol and drugs aint easy, she needs to realize the only person who can safe her is herself.
Honestly, all the mockery just doesnt help.

      • doofus says:

I’m not putting the whole fault on her, either, but to say she “never had a chance” is not accurate. she’s had chance after chance, and most people who behaved like she did would be in jail by now. she’s entitled and, from most accounts, a pretty horrible person who has NEVER taken responsibility for any of her problems. she always had an excuse as to why it wasn’t her fault.

      • Bridget says:

Lindsay’s problem isn’t her parents. It isn’t even the drugs and alcohol. It’s that Lindsay will always believe that she is SPECIAL and that specialness means the normal rules don’t apply. She would rather be regularly humiliated but famous rather than lead a decent life, because being famous means that she’s SPECIAL.

  13. Mia4s says:

Couldn’t resist a look at Cracken’s Instagram. Lots and lots of pictures from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It’s so clear how she supports herself now it made me feel ill. An unbelievable fall. I fear the “model” sister is likely doing the same.

  14. NeNe says:

I don’t know what the big deal is. It’s not like she’s telling lies. We all know about Linds sorted drug and booze history. Either way, it’s publicity for her. Does anybody really care about here?

  15. kri says:

Lindsay is a total mess, but I am finding Jennifer more obnoxious by the day. “I puke!” I pee in sinks!” I make poo poo in my pants!” “I fall down” What is next? Jlaw is like a giant toddler and Lindsay is just…sad.

  16. Lilacflowers says:

Somehow, I doubt JLaw cares about the reactions of the Lohans.

    • Juliette says:

Agreed. She too busy working, garnering multiple awards to miss the $15 Ali would have spent seeing her movie. Lindsay insinuated the Jlaw f***s for roles and was fake, pot calling the kettle black much Bloatan? I do feel a little bad for Lindsay, she never had a chance with the family.

  17. Hotpockets says:

I think a lot of Linday’s instant reactions to everything, whether it be another celebrity or someone poking fun at her expense (see Pitbull) is because she knows deep down her career is over and the industry will never care about her again like it did 10 years ago. She knows it’s over, which is why she cries out whenever people poke fun at her. Even if she wanted her career back, her looks and reputation are gone and there is no turning back the time on either of them. She isn’t even worth a tabloid mention anymore due to her asinine comments and bratty behavior and she knows it. J-law even acknowledging her is the best form of publicity she will get in the next year.

  18. Locke Lamora says:

Making jokes about someone is fine if it goes up, not down. Making fun of someone who’s lower than you in every way is not cute nor funny. Lindsay is a mess and I feel sorry for her. I saw The Parent Trap the other day and God, she was such a cute child. Her parents messed her up so much.
Jennifer doesn’t seem like a very nice person.

    • me says:

Lindsay has literally spent the last year going on one exotic vacation after another. Don’t feel too sorry for her. She ain’t on skid row or anything.

    • teacakes says:

…..Jlaw wasn’t the one saying another actress f*cks for roles, though.

Lohan is nearly 30 and has spent the last decade having her messed up ways excused by her upbringing. I’m done feeling sorry for her, she is a grown adult and can damn well take responsibility for her own actions and words.

    • outhousecat says:

She’s not all that and never was. Watch the original Parent Trap with Hayley Mills, Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith. Learn what real actors looked like. Lindsey Lohan was never more than average. A sort-of cute kid that quickly grew up to be a hard, loose, addict, really quick.

  19. LurkingWeirdo says:

When will the Kardashians become the Lohans? Burn out already! (To Tim Gunn’s point – isn’t the world getting sick of them)?

  20. Ninks says:

Lol. No, they’re thrilled that they’re actually getting good attention without having to get arrested first.

  21. Annie says:

Yeah, JLaw was out of line here. Lindsay is a a poster child for child stars gone wrong. This isn’t funny. Sure, she effed up her career, but come on, that girl has been exploited since forever by her parents, by the industry, by basically every adult in her life. We all know she has drug problems and that she is probably a high end prostitute now. That is not funny. JLaw is a talentend and in demand actress, she does not need to mock the likes of Lohan.
This reminds me of Amy Winehouse: when she died, everyone lamented the wasted potential, all because of drugs. But when she was alive, she was everyone’s punchline. Like, making fun of a girl exploited as a child that grew up to be a drug addicted making bad choices again and again would not be funny for “normal people” but somehow it is okay as long as that person is a celebrity? No.

    • teacakes says:

really? I don’t see why Jlaw or any woman is obligated to take the high road against someone who said she ‘f*cks for roles’.

Lohan had bad parents but has yet to take any responsibility for all the shit she’s pulled over the last decade, despite pushing 30 now. And I refuse to buy that having a bad childhood lets Lindsey off the hook for all the vile things she’s said and done (by that standard, Drew Barrymore should be an equally huge mess but was clean when she was far younger than Lindsey is now, and has managed not to drive drunk, steal or do more drugs)

      • saltandpepper says:

She’s an addict, pure and simple and until she gets help, her life won’t change.

Drew did remarkably well to kick her addictions, but she’s just divorced for the third time, perhaps her life is also not as simple as we ‘assume’ it is.

    • mialouise says:

Wino was never an asshole, so i didnt make fun of her. I ridicule Lindsay not because of her demons, but because she’s such an insufferable asshole.

  22. Neelyo says:

I was just listening to ‘Lohan Holiday’ yesterday as I made Xmas cookies and wondered how the family was doing. Same as ever!

  23. isabelle says:

Lindsey is lost and definitely messed up. However, think Jlaw is fake, fake, fake. Think she acting so hard to be that down to earth girl that everyone just likes, the cool girl! She has bit of mean girl but pretending to be the cool girl. Don’t buy her act for a minute.

  24. grabbyhands says:

    Team No One.

On the one hand, Lindsay and anyone in her family have no business acting butthurt about people making snide references about their family-they set themselves up for it over and over again. They’re all messes who have no problem trying to throw their privilege around when it suits them and I’m sorry, she may not f**k for roles (dubious at best), but she sure as hell f**ks for everything else.

On the other hand, I don’t like Jennifer Lawrence. She seems like an obnoxious bully and taking a cheap shot at someone who is pretty much scraping bottom (and who really hasn’t been newsworthy or relevant for a few years now) is childish. She strikes me as one of those people who acts like an ass and pushes people and pushes them until they react and then says “Man, you need to lighten up”.

  25. Lakeridge says:

I think Jlaw probably uses that phrase a lot at home w friends and just didn’t appropriately censor herself. Bottom line is that Jlaw was wrong and careless for saying that.

    • debs says:

Nah, bottomline is it was no big deal, and Lohan is the only person who would’ve jumped on this because she’s desperate for any attention.

  26. Whitney says:

I can just imagine how insanely jealous Lindsay is of J-Law. She probably thinks J-Law “stole” her career, or some such other crackie nonsense.

  27. CornyBlue says:

Eh, I doubt Jen said it to be hurtful to her and just talked as she would among friends. Still does not make it right and i wish she didnt about someone with such issues. I had no idea what Lindsey said about her though and yeah.. what a disgusting thing.

  28. me says:

Why won’t Lindsay just go away? When was the last time she had a good movie role? Why are we supposed to give a sh*t about her? I don’t feel sorry for her at all. She is also a huge hypocrite who can’t remember the things she says about other actresses !

  29. Veronica says:

It was a crass joke to make, but…honestly, having worked in a low income area for a long time, I’ve stopped being able to feel bad for Lohan when she’s had so many chances to turn her life around. You can take away all the addiction issues and shitty family problems, and she’s still an entitled asshole. She turned herself into the pop culture joke.

And beyond that, well…she struck first. Just because JLaw’s in the position of power doesn’t mean she has to suck it up when another women accuses her of trading sex for success. Petty? Sure. But human. If I’m going to pick a bigger reason that JLaw should have avoided the joke, it’s that she should have known Lindsay would twist it into a sympathy play.

    • Hotpockets says:

I agree with you Veronica. I have a hard time sympathizing with Lindsay. I do believe she is an addict and she has many other demons, as well as parents who enabled her throughout her career, but take away all her problems and she is still a terrible person. There are too many well documented stories and photos that support what a entitled brat she truly is . she clipped a babies carriage, difficult to work with, driving intoxicated, stole fur coats and god knows what else, constant revoking of her multiple probation’s due to her lying and terrible behavior. She thinks she is above it all. She has been given so many opportunities to turn it all around and then $hits on it all, because she believes she is not the problem. I’ve known people who are addicts, but at the same time, they are people who wish they didn’t have a problem. They want help and acknowledge their problems and the people they have hurt, I have yet to see Lindsay own up to anything she’s done or even admit she is an addict.

      • doofus says:

well said. I’m tired of people saying “she never had a chance”. she had several.

look at Drew Barrymore. for a while, she was a “troubled” former child star who became a punchline, too. she legally separated herself from her mother for that very reason, and chose to get herself better. LL had offers of help from Tina Fey and The Mighty Oprah, and she CHOSE to stay attached to her mother and continue her partying and thieving and lying ways. and as you so aptly pointed out, she seems like a really horrible person.

  30. Cara says:

I believe that should have read, “No one will f*ck me, so there’s no hope for me to get any more roles.”
    There…fixed! 🙂

    • outhousecat says:

Or “I’ve already given everybody that’s important the herpes so there’s nobody left for me to ‘audition’ for.”

  31. kimbers says:

Call lilo what you want, but I believe what she said about jlaw 100% and I also believe lindsay is jealous bc no one accepts her offers to do the same thing for roles. I saw that couch pic calling card of jlaw that went around. ..

    • debs says:

You mean the private pictures that included pics of her with her boyfriend that were illegally stolen from her phone? Pure class deciding to use those to denigrate her career.

      • kimbers says:

Oh u mean the PR behind the reasoning of a picture that was not a selfie and a generic couch calling card?
Lmao even talented people need to play the game. How do you think it really works?
I got a bridge to sell ya and a goose the farts jelly beans

  32. Eru says:

Very predictably people just forgot and stop caring about Lohan after she stopped being arrested.

  33. Really? says:

I am not an MD but I raised 2 kids who are ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder. They are both highly intelligent, talented and impulsive as hell. Jennifer Lawrence reminds me of my daughter. She is sassy and hyper emotional and what she thinks just spills out of her mouth before she has a chance to think about what she is saying. We love/hate that Jennifer just says whatever dumb thing she is thinking. Reminds me of a particular political candidate many love/hate for the same reason. There is no filter, just brutal honesty said without thinking through.
