Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss broke up at some point. That much is known/believed. The timeline is a bit sketchy, but my theory is that in the midst of the Summer of Receipts/Tiddlebanging, Karlie and Taylor really started to fall apart. They were still somewhat friendly for a time after that summer (summer 2016), but 2017 was when they really started growing apart and moving in different directions. What is unknown is whether there was some massive falling out, a fight, a denouncement or whether they just grew apart naturally and shrug, sh-t happens. Of course, there are Kaylor Truthers who believe that Karlie and Taylor were actually romantically involved at one point too. No one really knows! I don’t have any idea. Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t have any idea either. Despite being friendly enough with Taylor, J-Law took a moment during her TimesTalk discussion to mention that the Kaylor split has been keeping her up at night:
Karlie Kloss was a founding member of Taylor Swift’s famous girl squad. But the two haven’t been seen together in months, and Jennifer Lawrence wants to know why. In an otherwise overtly solemn and cerebral interview about her new spy thriller Red Sparrow with the New York Times posted on Friday, the unpredictable actress called out the onetime BFFs.
‘I’d like to know what’s going on with Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift, that’s the honest to God truth,’ Lawrence said. ‘Is nobody else curious? It’s keeping me up at night. What happened?’
As we all know, Taylor is the queen of many things. She is the Queen of the Snakes. She is the Queen of Mean-Girl Blind Item Songs. And she’s the Queen of Petty Grudges. She doesn’t let sh-t go AT ALL. I truly believe she keeps an actual, physical, tangible list of all of the people she hates, all of the people who have pissed her off, all of the people who will get oblique (or not-so-oblique) lyrical shout-outs. So, knowing this about Taylor, what will she do here? One, it’s becoming pretty clear that Karlie is on Tay-Tay’s Sh-t List. Two, I think Jennifer Lawrence’s name just got added to the list too. The first rule of the Team Taymerica Squad is that you never talk about the Team Taymerica Squad without written authorization from the Snake Queen.

One facet of the alleged breakup that interests me: if they indeed have a falling out, or let’s just say drifted apart (it happens in adult friendships a lot), what does this say about Karlie that she went straight to hang with Taylor’s arch nemesis Katy Perry, and on a very public scale at that—and the not-so-subtle “swish swish” IG dig? I’m neutral on both, but this is Taylor-esque behavior on Karlie’s part as well. Birds of a feather I suppose….

I’m totally a Kaylor Truther and think they were romantically together but broke up with Karlie being the spurned party. Hopefully, JLaw will solve the mystery…
Kaylor came from 2014 when I first started to like Taylor. So, of course, Taylor got rid of Kaylor. She’s gotten rid of alot of what I liked about her in the past year or so.
Karlie and Taylor are still friends and probably dating , I think they are just keeping it quiet .
They were definitely dating at one point. That video of them drunkenly kissing and canoodling really confirmed that for me (and just her obvious discomfort with men). Who knows if they’re still together, I’m just grateful Taylor isn’t all in our faces like previous album rollouts.

Plus since JLaw is friends with the Kardashians (she’s friends with so many loathsome people) I don’t taylor talks to her like that. Because we are in middle school in swiftieland
Totally throwing my hat in dumb rich people beef ring, but I did read a blind item that Jennifer is outing or trying to make Taylor nervous. Whatever, ive always really liked Jennifer, she’s super talented and I think this is hilarious either way.
Kaylor fight aside, can I just say something? I really appreciate Jen having no issue with admitting that she enjoys things such as the Kardashians, the Housewives and just gossip in general.
Jennifer Lawrence pays way too much attention to stuff that doesn’t matter. I don’t see any humaniatarian work in this ones future. Probably not a lot of depth either judging by the fact that she pays way too much attention to celebrity gossip. I read gossip too but its usually after 5 hours of reading world news and needing something fluffy to think about. JL’s mind is all fluff.
I don’t recall Jennifer being friends with Taylor or anybody in her squad. I can’t even remember if they were ever photographed together so I doubt Jennifer is on the outs with Taylor. Usually when someone isn’t gushing over her Taylor sends flowers and try to be their friend. She’s curious why people were so close a year ago seem to be no longer friends.
If they were romantically involved (which I don’t think is the case), Taylor wouldn’t say a word considering Karlie probably has a lot of dirt on her.
I’m wondering if Karlie Kloss’s boyfriend, Joshua Kushner, has something to do with the Kloss-Swift break up. Taylor Swift has been accused of being racist often. I don’t think she Is, but there are many people who do.
Joshua Kushner is Jared Kushner’s brother. Jared Kushner works for obviously racist Donald Trump and his racist administration. Donald Trump also obviously illegally conspired with the Russians in order to win the election and Jared Kushner was involved.
Perhaps Taylor Swift started worrying she would be associated with Donald Trump and all his negativity if she continued to be friends with someone who is dating a Kushner.
Of course you will drift apart when there is no foundation, other than a PR stunt, to your relationship.

The entire squad is done. When was the last time anyone has seen Taylor with a “squad”? When was the last time anyone has seen Taylor in pap pictures? Its been more then a year with “squad” and last pap pic was November 2017, three MONTHS and counting..
Her life has simply changed. Those friends who have accepted her lifestyle change are still her friends in private. Those opposing it are no longer her friends. Why is it so hard to comprehend that a 28 year old woman would one day grow up and no longer be their ” squad leader”?
Please everyone stop saying “squad”, the ” squad” days are clearly over.
