If I paid more attention to Paris Hilton, I may have a more solid theory about why she’s moved her wedding back. Is she hoping for more freebies and sponsors? Is she trying to plan and scheme for maximum publicity? Are Paris and/or her fiance, Chris Zylka, getting cold feet? Whatever is going on, the wedding isn’t happening until May supposedly, which is six months after it was initially planned.
Wedding bells won’t be ringing anytime soon for Paris Hilton.
We hear the heiress’s upcoming nuptials to the “The Leftovers” star Chris Zylka have been pushed back so she can have more time to plan the ultimate fête.
“They were all set to get married in November,” a source tells Page Six. “But they have pushed it to May. She wanted more time to plan.”
We’re told the location for the celebration will be in Los Angeles.
Paris is a narcissist and they see their partners as extensions of themselves. I’m thinking she got a whiff of Chris being his own person and is questioning whether he’s worthy. He probably asked her if he could keep some things in a drawer and she realized she didn’t want to move those Hello Kitty dog collars and that he’d be taking up too much space. Or maybe she’s just trying to get bigger fish for sponsors and plan it in the lull after awards season. Plus she hates the fact that Lindsay Lohan scored a reality show and could be hoping to televise her wedding ala Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. It could be a combination of several things.

It’s fun to be engaged and have a big party. It’s after everyone goes home that’s the problem. She should just look at her ex buddy Kim.

and this can be said about a LOT of people, not just celebs. I know a few young women who loved being engaged, loved showing off the ring, loved planning the day that centers around them, etc.
and then they had to actually BE MARRIED?! the novelty and attention and SPECIALNESS wears off and then it’s about making a life together, and too many couples aren’t prepared to face that. if, luckily, that reality sets in BEFORE they make it official, it can only be a good thing.

Wedding won’t happen. Was never gonna happen. No woman who is serious about getting married pushes back her wedding date unless she has a really good reason. “Planning” is not a really good reason.
She wants to marry someone really rich and someone she considers socially her equal or better. Like her Greek ex boyfriend.
And to this day I totally believe that Starvos’ Step-Mother had a strong hand in making sure that marriage did not happen.

This engagement is probably not real to her. She’ll call it off soon and move on to the next man.
Wedding isn’t going to happen. The engagement video alone was enough of a red flag that these people are not in a deep, lasting relationship with each other.
I doubt she will end up marrying this guy. Other possibility is that she is pregnant?
I think she’s trying to extend the little publicity she’s received lately. Wedding won’t happen.
Her sister bagged a Rothschild (old money, American royalty) and she just realized she was about to marry a C-list at best, actor. LOL! But she is so vapid and gross that no upper-class family wants her.
