I have to hand it to Jennifer Lopez. She used to get engaged to just about every boyfriend, remember her second marriage to that backup dancer and then her engagement to Ben Affleck? After that she married Marc Anthony and they had two two kids together. They ended up coparenting well after their divorce, so it wasn’t the worst case scenario. She never got engaged to the other backup dancer she dated for years, Casper Smart, and she dated Drake for a minute and smartly didn’t stay with him. Jennifer doesn’t like being alone but at least she’s mellowed. Anyway it seemed like just a matter of time before she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez. They’ve been together for about 19 months and we’ve heard engagement rumors for almost as long. They dress so matchy and cute, they support each other’s projects, and their kids get along too. Plus they’re constant fixtures on each other’s social media, which is how Lopez showed off what looks like a giant diamond engagement ring. Alex posted a video of her making the baseball sign for a hit and run during one of the World Series games. I only have a vague understanding of what she’s doing.
Unfortunately she’s wearing that massive ring on her right hand. I considered the fact that some phones take mirror image videos by default, but in paparazzi photos of that night you can see that’s where she’s wearing it. However in a video she posted to Twitter from another World Series game with A-Rod, it looks like she might be wearing the ring on her left hand! Sadly this is the mirror image video or we’re just looking at a different ring. See these paparazzi photos.

I hope these two are engaged and that Jennifer just isn’t ready to announce it yet. A-Rod has talked about it as if it’s a matter of when, not if. I hope they’re planning a huge holiday wedding and that they’re going to Instagram the hell out of it. I hope Jennifer wears a ridiculous over-the-top dress that has puffy feathered sleeves, a feathered hem and a sequin low cut bodice without a back. She should be dripping in jewels. I want their reception to have a winter wonderland theme with chandeliers hanging with fake icicles and a little frozen indoor pond with performing skaters. We need this. Until then may they do many more events and pap strolls. Maybe they’ll get a People cover for their engagement and a joint interview too! Please make this happen. I know it might not be the smartest decision, but it would be so good for gossip.

I think they’re cute together. I have to say, though I know he’s had a sh!t reputation, the times I’ve seen him on “Shark Tank”, I liked him. He seemed thoughtful and put humble (I know, two words you’d NEVER hear about him during his baseball days), esp. when he was talking about his mom and all she sacrificed for him growing up.
Anyway, if they’re happy, Mazel Tov to them both!

and when I say “cheater”, I mean that not only did he try to knock a ball out of an opposing players glove (among other cheap plays), he also was a steroid user.
He was extremely rude to my mother in Las Vegas years ago. He was still with his ex wife (who was standing nearby) at that point. Said he was a total a**hole and that she put a Sicilian hex on him LOL

Oh my gosh, being with her must be THE JEN SHOW like 24/7.
The constant attention and lavish praise she expects on a daily basis must be difficult for anyone around her for any length of time.
Everyone I’ve talked to who’s ever worked with her says she’s a nightmare.
She does a weird fake tanning thing as a kind of contouring project on her face. Her forehead is always super tanned up and then her nose/undereyes are super concealered and whited out.
Its like the whole JLo show is as smoke n’ mirrors as her face. And I love me some Jlo but still…
