I tend to believe that Prince Harry’s appearance with Duchess Kate at today’s Anzac Day service means that Meghan won’t be giving birth today. Obviously, she won’t know until she knows, but she was probably like “nah, I’m not feeling it today.” Doria Ragland has been in England for about a week as well, so even if Harry has to spend a few hours away, Meghan still has someone there for her. I feel like Doria is probably really good in any kind of crisis situation or emergency situation too. You know who’s terrible in an emergency? You know who is an agent of chaos just looking to cash in on any kind of emergency? Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle. Toxic Thomas has been suspiciously quiet for a few months now. But he just had to update TMZ on his plans for Meghan’s delivery.
Meghan Markle’s father won’t be around to spoil the joy of her firstborn … because he’s still iced out of the Royal Family. Sources close to Thomas Markle tell TMZ … he’s not traveling to London — or making any plans to do so — despite the fact his daughter is due to give birth to her and Prince Harry’s child any day now. Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, arrived this weekend.
We’re told, unlike last year — when health issues kept Thomas from attending the Royal Wedding and giving Meghan away — the reason he’s not visiting his daughter and meeting his new grandchild is because he’s squarely persona non grata. Our sources say Thomas has been unable to make inroads reconciling with Meghan because he believes she’s in a “cone of silence” … but he hopes their relationship can be repaired after she has a baby.
As you’ll recall … Thomas seemed to get shunned by the Royals shortly after the wedding for going to the media, a move perceived by many as self-serving. There’s been a lot of speculation about the father-daughter relationship since then, but it’s clear they haven’t been on speaking terms since August. Regardless, we’re told Thomas, of course, wishes Meghan and Harry the best and hopes for a safe delivery of a healthy baby … and he’s glad Doria’s made the trip to be by her side.
We learned in February that Meghan doesn’t exist in a cone of silence with regards to her father. She wrote him a letter in August of last year where she spelled out the things he needed to do if he ever wanted to see her again or have any kind of relationship. He failed to comply, and instead spent months lying about the existence of the letter. Then Meghan authorized her friends to spill the tea about the letter, after which Thomas sold a copy of the letter to the British tabloids. It was a smart strategy, because now if the British tabloids do any kind of interview with him, they can ask him why he lied about Meghan’s communication to him and more. While the palace courtiers were throwing her to the wolves, Meghan figured out a way to burn her father and effectively silence him. That being said, I’m expecting shenanigans from him and from Scammy Samantha as soon as the baby is here.

The less said about The Markles, the better. I wish this site and everyone else would stop covering them. But here I am whining about it so it must work for clicks and site traffic.
I think the letter was sent sincerely, but Meghan also knew she could use it to expose Toxic Tom’s BS. We knew he’d run out of pap money just in time for the birth of the baby. Pretty sure creepy sister is in need of a buck so we’ll be hearing from her, too.
Isn’t she writing a book? I doubt it will do that well given that her personality grates on people.
I saw this headline and thought, “well, duh. Of course he’s iced out.”
Birth isn’t usually quick, especially for number 1. I doubt she’s even showing signs of early labor which can a very long time (I had a “quick” birth supposedly; mild contractions started 4pm Tuesday and I had baby 10pm Wednesday). Baby Sussex is still a few days away at least.
Mine was two weeks early, three if I want to be technical as it was a scheduled c-section.
I thought I’d have at least a breather as I’ve just taken my maternity leave on Friday and then I started having mild contractions on Sunday til Tuesday, then really painful ones on Wednesday, which was when my baby wanted to come out and we were lucky that the doctor who booked my c-section was on duty and she just chuckled & said she should have listen to me when I suggested to the c-section done a week earlier than she penned in.
I started “early labor” with my 1st (and only) around 7am. Didn’t even realize it was early labor, thought it was GI. Contractions started around 11am. “Active” labor around 1pm. Baby born right after 7pm. Quick can happen, but not really the norm. You’re right…usually first babies take their sweet time. Mine just decided to do her own thing on her own time table, everything and everyone else be damned. Not much has changed in 14 years. 😂

Toxic Tom just *can’t* help himself. He’d gone quiet, and I thought, OK…MAYBE, just MAYBE this narcissistic POS is *really* trying to make an effort to gain M&H’s trust by going quiet for a while. But then…just like a whack-a-mole, up he pops again. He truly is his own worst enemy.
I think it’s way past time to cut the anchor and leave it to sink, once and for all.
What I cannot for the life of me understand is how he can possibly think giving quotes to TMZ is going to do him any favors whatsoever in getting Meghan to let him back in. So I’m left to assume that talking to TMZ is more important to him than talking to Meghan, which is just…bizarre. Surely they can’t pay him that much for nonsense quotes like ‘yep she’s still not talking to me.’ And if it’s attention, shouldn’t he have to foresight to recognize that playing a long game and getting back in her good graces would yield much more (and more positive) attention in the future? This guy is just incomprehensible to me.
He believes he has plausible deniability and innocence because “sources” are quoted.
Well he told TMZ first that he wasn’t going to the wedding – Meghan found out the same time as the rest of the world. Guess the difference was they paid him and Meghan had at this point stopped giving him money.
He’s popping up again as he see’s a payday once PoloBaby arrives – I hope the money helps him sleep at night as that is all he seems to care about. Money and being the victim.

@Chisey, THIS. I keep think the exact thing. He obviously has no desire to heal the wounds he has caused his daughter nor has he the desire to be a father to her. And if he can sell out his daughter like that, imagine what he can do to a grandchild- and one with royal blood lines. Megs is a very smart lady.
Now that William is exposed as weaponizing Dad to discredit Meghan Evil Papa Smurf is of no use to him. I think Dad figured out he was being used by way of the British media and that’s why he is saying he is iced out by the BRF. He thought he was important with all the attention and to find out he was just a useful idiot for William to try to take down Meghan? I don’t feel sorry for Dad; he was willing .
Indeed and I guess now that why’s he running to TMZ, the UK press are no longer willing to touch him now. Selling Meghan’s letter outed himself as a liar and that article last week outed William as encouraging the tabloids to interview him.
Thomas Markle has run to TMZ since the beginning. They were the only ones he was talking to in the lead up to the wedding once he got exposed for the fake pictures.

He chose to be iced out. If he had gone along with what Meghan had told him to do a year ago, he would be in a much better position than he is not. But greed blinded him from the big picture and he dug his own grave.

The tide has turned on Dad. On Good Morning Britain one presenter called Dad a toe rag. Another was sympathetic, but in tube vein of the show saving face for giving Bad Dad a platform.
All I got is Meghan looks fabulous, as usual, in that picture. Guess I’ve iced or tuned out toxic daddy long ago. A rotten parent CAN have a spectacular, wonderful child. All credit to Doria and Meghan.

Every time I look at that photo of Markle, I think of a restaurant insisting a patron wear an ill-fitting dirty jacket to meet some stupid dress code. There is no way that jacket is his.
Like I said before the letter Meghan wrote him after the wedding was a goodbye letter I think she knew once her friends mentioned the letter Thomas would come out of hiding. Because Thomas has to have the last word he has to control the narrative The daily mail and the sun didn’t give a crap about Thomas intill he started to talk crap about Meghan and harry that’s when they all sudden care about poor old Thomas . The letter outed Thomas to be a liar so many of us on celebitchy knew what Thomas was all about early on when he started talking to the press and their were a lot of people on here who swore up and down that Thomas was this naive sweet old man being used by the press. Lets be clear the only reason that morning program is calling Thomas out now is because their the same news program who gave Thomas a spotlight to drag his daughter on national tv to say some nasty things about her and his ex wife. And there were only two of the anchor who called Thomas out the woman on the show was still peddling the same oh tiresome story about Meghan being a social climber and leaving people behind she is the same woman who anchor with the piers Morgan.
