You’ll never believe this, but Prince William is engorged with rage at Prince Harry

The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Last fall, we talked a lot about Robert Lacey’s book, Battle of Brothers, and certain claims he made about the falling out between Prince William and Prince Harry. It was fascinating because Lacey is a royalist and very well-connected to the palace aide complex, but he still managed to spill some tea and get kind of shady at times. Lacey said outright that palace aides worked behind the scenes to sabotage the Sussexes. He also said that William and Kate were happier now that the Sussexes were out of the UK, because W&K are (I’m paraphrasing) selfish, petty, small-minded people and they didn’t like to be overshadowed by Harry & Meghan’s rock star vibez.

I bring all of this up, because Lacey was insistent that it’s massively important for the future of the monarchy that William and Harry reconcile. I never really followed Lacey’s logic on that, but I’ve heard it echoed by the royal media over the course of the past 14 months, like their brains cannot compute the idea that two adult brothers are incapable of repairing their toxic relationship. Even Harry said as much in the Oprah interview – their relationship is “space” and there was an air of finality, or at least an ending to the close bond they once had. Still, people are obsessed with the idea that Harry HAS to fly to the UK in July for the unveiling of a statue of Diana in the Kensington Palace Garden, and that the reconciliation must proceed ASAP. Too bad William is a rage-monster.

The post-Oprah enmity between Prince William and Harry is so deep that it is “unthinkable” they will reunite for a long-scheduled unveiling of a memorial to their mother Princess Diana, The Sun on Sunday reports. The paper says that the royal siblings are “as far apart as it’s possible to be” after the Sussexes accused the royals of racism, and said his brother and father were “trapped” in royal life.

William refuted the non-specific accusations this week, telling reporters the royals were “not a racist a family,” however the royals have said they will tackle the accusations “privately” (for which read: no further public refutation of the shocking claims). Relations between the two brothers have been severely strained since Harry and Meghan announced their plans to “step back” from the family, but look utterly shattered after the Oprah interview in which Meghan and Harry denounced an unnamed member of the royal family as racist, putting all of the royals, including William, under a cloud of suspicion. The Sun reports that the princes have exchanged texts following the interview but have not spoken. This tallies with a claim in The Sunday Times that they have “been in contact.”

Although it had long been assumed that both brothers would be present together when the statue of their mum—which they commissioned—is unveiled in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace in July, this now looks in peril. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “William and Harry are as far apart as it’s possible to be—emotionally and physically. Their relationship is at rock bottom. William’s raging with Harry after the Oprah interview. He is so angry with him that it’s totally unthinkable at the moment for them to be happily reunited and stood together at the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue. It’ll take a lot of work to patch things up so they can put on united front.”

[From The Daily Beast]

One, other outlets are noting the actual reason why Harry will likely skip the unveiling: because Meghan’s due date likely falls at the end of June or early July. Harry will choose Meghan and their children before the Salty Windsors every day of the week, and he’s shown that over and over again. The fact that Baldilocks is making it all about HIM and how he feels unspeakable, incandescent rage just says it all though. What kind of man watches his brother and sister-in-law in acute emotional pain from the ordeal they went through and reacts with… RAGE? With ANGER? Meghan was speaking about being in the lowest depths of misery and Harry had to see that, and live with what they were doing to his wife, just like they did to his mother. And William feels nothing but contempt, anger, rage. William is the one with the odd, inappropriate reaction, and yet I get the feeling that this is Kensington Palace’s official position. This is what they WANT to leak about Will being keen with violent rage at his brother. It’s beyond pathetic on so many different levels.

anyone else think Meghan might be due in May? given their rightful desire for privacy, it seems not far-fetched to think that they would say “summer” but really have the baby in May and then announce her birth publicly, when they are ready to do so. just a thought! anyway, i can’t imagine the brothers getting back together for the unveiling in the summer. anything less than 100% reconciliation (which I can’t imagine happening given william’s rage & entitlement) would result in a painful photo of them.

    • Gm says:

I think late May / early June. But yeah sooner I doubt late June or July at all.

    • Snuffles says:

I wouldn’t blame them if they fudged the due date by a few weeks just to keep the press off their backs and let her give birth in peace.

I think she is due end of May/early June and will probably announce it end of June.

    • BayTampaBay says:

I always thought Meghan was due much earlier than she implied.

    • My Two Cents says:

Yes! she looks really big (in a nice, pregnant way). It could be May! something to look forward to!

      • Lucky Charm says:

I think mid-June, which is technically still spring, but closer to the “official” start of summer. She probably looks further along than she really is because 1. she’s a very petite person, there’s no where for the baby to go but out; and 2. she’s already been pregnant and given birth, and many women tend to show earlier with subsequent pregnancies than with the first, making it seem like they are due sooner.

    • Sunnee says:

I hate to doubt her because During the interview she clearly said she was due in “summer”. Also her miscarriage was in July and she would have had to have gotten pregnant in August to have the baby in May. I believe doctors usually advise at least waiting two months.
Be that as it may, I have to say her belly was large during the February interview, you could see it particularly well when she was in the chicken coop- that may indicate she was much further along than 5 mo. Her “pregnancy face” also indicates that she is further along (or twins) lol

      • Snuffles says:

Let’s say she miscarried the first week of July. Got pregnant again 2 months later the first week of September. That would make her due the first week of June. And while TECHNICALLY, the first day of Summer is June 20th, your average person would think summer begins in June in general. So saying the baby is due in the summer is basically accurate and only the nitpicky would debate it.

      • Becks1 says:

My guess is that she is due in June and is using “summer” as a general catch-all, most people consider June to be summer even though summer doesnt start until June 20th or 21st.

      • Mila says:

Women are actually extremely fertile after miscarriages because the their body and hormones are already prepared and in the best state for pregnancy. I know someone who got pregnant two weeks after their miscarriage! But I kinda agree I don’t see it as being May, more mid to (pushing it) late June.

      • Mila says:

In an interview with Sky Dean Stott (Harry’s friend) let it slip that she was 6 months pregnant, and likely towards the end of 6

      • Kkat says:

Being from california, we think of June as summer.
Kids are out of school for summer vacation usually end of may or the first week of june. Plus we use memorial day as the kick off to summer.
The water parks and theme parks are officially on the summer season that weekend.

      • Colleen says:

FWIW, my due date was June 14 and I conceived Sept. 21 or 22 (I was tracking my ovulation). Just to contribute to the timeline discussion.

      • Ang says:

Can you imagine if she’d said “spring and then for the next four months (March, April, May, and June) every headline would be about “where is the baby ?? She’s faking! Etc”

      • Cessily says:

I was thinking twins also, they like to keep things special to themselves as long as possible (as it should be) so the fact that we know it’s a girl may mean we only know part of the story ; )
Eventually we will know, wishing them the best.

    • Yvette says:

What I don’t understand is why the majority of Brits seem to expect Harry to swallow his pride, be the bigger man, and kiss William’s ‘arse’ and make it all better. They want this man, this former soldier to willingly become William’s permanent emotional whipping post and door mat.

      • Persephone says:

Exactly. The onus is on the FFK.

      • Mila says:

Exactly, and that’s exactly why I don’t want Harry to go or if he goes I want him to go on the other side compare to William and ignore him completely, he needs to stop letting himself be used to rehabilitate Williams image, although I know they signed that ‘he’s not bullying me letter’ without his consent it was still bad.

      • Sarah Westwood says:

I hope Willie finds himself having to beg Harry to come over to the UK as he knows that Harry is the popular brother

      • Margles says:

I think it’s because it’s what’s happened over and over. Think about it. The second/younger children always ended up trapped and unable to break away from the crown. Trapped by monetary and emotional dependency.

This is also why they are enraged that Harry is so obviously living happily and getting rich away from them. He wasn’t supposed to be happy.

    • Autumn says:

I think this, too. I am due May 25th, and Meghan looks farther along than I am. Obviously, women carry differently and she’s much tinier than I am, and on her second pregnancy, where this is my first. But I would guess May and they said summer to throw people off. Or, I just really want us to have our girls at the same time, and it’s wishful thinking.

      • L4frimaire says:

I had very big belly when pregnant, was asked if I was having twins, etc. Had small babies. How one carries doesn’t necessarily indicate how far along one is. Think she’s on the other side of 6 months. I suspect June baby.

    • Oy_Hey says:

This. Meghan is a small woman and she was SHOW-ING during that interview just like she did at the very end with Archie. Also she just had a miscarriage and most folks only announce a second baby after that once they are super far along. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lady Mountbatten Windsor is born in mid may.

    • swirlmamad says:

I also think that by the looks of what we’ve seen of her bump, she’s further along than a July due date. You do pop earlier with subsequent pregnancies (I was starting to show by the 12 week mark with my second, while I didn’t with my first till into the 2nd trimester). But there’s a difference between “popping” and a well-defined bump, which Meghan has. I’d put my money on May the latest.

      • L4frimaire says:

My 2nd pregnancy, no one really noticed until I was far along, about 18 weeks. Also I was chubbier so easier to hide. I just didn’t want to bring it up because was in a new job, another relative was pregnant at the same time and making a big deal out of it, and also it turned out to be a difficult pregnancy. I started suspecting Meg was expecting at the time of the cemetery pic for Remembrance day. That coat was so voluminous.

    • Mila says:

Hmm intresting though I can see the same, especially after the second picture however Meghan does get really big when she’s pregnant and in your second pregnancy and subsequent pregnancies your stomach does get bigger than the first. And I don’t think Harry would ever not go to placate William but he would definitely not go if he thought it be better to spend time with the baby/Meg pregnant.

    • Fabulous says:

My soon to be 23 year-old son was born on June 9th. It had never occurred to me until today that he was not technically born in the summer. I live in Miami. June is thought of as summer.

    • Victoria says:

Is it engorged with rage or incandescent? I feel like there are levels to his anger but all above a cool 112° F.

    • Carmen-JamRock says:

Summer 2021 begins June 20. I believe M knows that. So her saying “in the summer time” in answer to Oprah’s question abt when the baby is due, means just that: any time from June 20 to Sept 22 (when summer ends).

PS: I dont know why folks always think they know more abt M’s life than she does.
PPS: a full term pregnancy lasts 40 wks. Thats 10 months.

      • anotherlily says:

There are 30 or 31 days in every month except February. That means every month except February has 4 weeks plus 2 or 3 days. So a 40 week pregnancy will be 9 calendar months.

  2. Queen Meghan’s Hand says:

Nice play on the Penis With Teeth nickname with “engorged with rage”.

I am so truly tired of this dude and his cardboard wife.

    • Jane says:

Personally I could have done without the mental image that the combination of the words ‘William’ and ‘engorged’ evoked!

    • Enny says:

I think I may vomit. Thanks for that mental image, Kaiser! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤮🤣

      • Bettyrose says:

I’m worried I’m going to think engorged whenever I see his head now. 🤭😳😱

    • Robin says:

I always see him as an aubergine! When did his head flip in shape and go upside down from what it used to be? He’s got such a big jaw now. Growing up, everyone fancied him over Harry. How things change.

      • Sadiebelle says:

Just here to add: does anyone else remember when William was the cute one? It was so very long ago. Lainey would call it a version of Karma Face.

      • Queen Meghan’s Hand says:

Not PWT looking like the anthropomorphic emoji for penis!

      • booboocita says:

I imagine he has a huge jaw now because he’s been gritting his teeth with rage, and his jaw muscles are overdeveloped. Seriously. He gives off “gritting teeth” vibes. If he doesn’t already sleep with a mouthguard, he probably will soon.

      • anotherlily says:

He looks like Diana’s father, except for the lack of hair which emphasises the heavy jaw. He’ll be thick-set and jowly by the time he’s 50.

      • Tessa says:

He also looks like a throwback to the Hanoverian kings. IMO.

      • India says:

That would be called a lantern jaw.

    • Mac says:

What does Kate do while he rages? I’m guessing she alphabetizes the spices and pretends she can’t hear him.

    • Mila says:

Me too, I wish they’d leave us and I’ll faves alone, so sick of their attention seeking. They need to go and open garden centres or something and get a grip!

    • Melissa says:

Came here to say the same. “Engorged with rage” made me laugh out loud. Clever, fitting, and also disgusting….which makes it even more fitting!

    • MrsRoper says:

I was about to say how glad I am that he went bald, but not now.

  3. Elizabeth Regina says:

All hail Baldimort, the incandescent. Not only are they incapable of reading the room, they seem to be on a different planet going by all these leaks. I doubt if Harry will go anywhere near that unveiling. Let Baldilocks continue to have his moment at the expense of another woman’s pain.

  4. Lauren says:

The whole world learned that his sister in law was suicidal. Instead of calling and asking how she is doing, he is out there raging about how unfair it is that he, the heir, isn’t being painted as the victim of the interview’s fallout. So out of touch with reality .You are not at the centre of Harry’s existence anymore. Continue staying angry Bill.

    • Mac says:

William is so intent on digging the hole deeper I am beginning to wonder if he is a republican.

      • lanne says:

Ha! I think he wants the trappings of being king, like Mel Brooks in “History of the World” but he doesn’t want to do the actual work. He doesn’t want to read the red boxes and attend all the ceremonies, but damnit that heffa wants to see his baldilocks mug on the Pound Sterling and you know Unable wants to wear the jewels.

      • Mila says:

I think years, I wouldn’t be surprised if it supports Trump in secret, even if he’s one of those “I like his policy but he does a bit much performance guys”, he’s definitely best buds with Boris!

    • STRIPE says:

It makes total sense though, right? Something that stuck with me from watching the Crown was the idea that the monarch is all that matters (Phillips chat with Diana in the last ep of S4) The rest of the family is there to prop them up. If you look at the behavior of this family, it’s clear they believe that.

So, why wouldn’t William behave this way? He’s been brought up to think that he, as someone who will be king, matters more than anyone else and everyone else are to be his human shields.

Is it toxic and terrible? Yes. But I just am not surprised in the least.

    • Exactly, LAUREN. And I love that the Royal🐀Rota continually reveals that there are SO MANY racists in the royal family by saying if Harry had only named one of them, then they all wouldn’t have to come under suspicion.

“…… in which Meghan and Harry denounced an unnamed member of the royal family as racist, putting all of the royals, including William, under a cloud of suspicion..”

And……Poor William……he’s becoming the living emblem of a human torch with all his incandescence. Someone should plug him into the grid, he could power England with all that ‘engorged’ rage energy of his.

  5. Seraphina says:

I find it ironic that Liz is “defender of the faith” or head of the COE. And Chucky and Willy will one day be as well. Ironically none possess the qualities of being head of the church. Aren’t they supposed to forgive, be peace makers, show compassion and humility? None of which is being shown to their own blood.

    • Nanny to the Rescue says:

If you ask them, they’ll say they’re making peace offerings, are being compassionate and humble. It’s just us that are weird and don’t see it.

Also, COE’s first head was Henry VIII. Being a good human is a rule for the plebs only.

      • Emily_C says:

This. Monarchy = might makes right. Expecting the heir to behave in a human fashion is considered an insult.

  6. Harla says:

I can only say one thing about this headline, Ewwwww!!

  7. Snuffles says:

    Sigh…SO much to unpack

    1) I agree with the fact that the statue unveiling is SUPER close to Meghan’s due date and there is no way Harry would leave her side for a 30 minute photo op with his dickhead of a brother, in front of the Royal Rota who have declared war against him, who will just milk the occasion for MONTHS of negative press and more Kensington Palace leaks.

    2) I don’t think William even wants Harry there because he HATES the fact that Harry has pretty much been deemed Diana’s philanthropic successor in the eyes of the world. The only son truly carrying on Diana’s legacy. And William wants Diana’s image and memory all to himself. He knows whenever he is stood next to Harry, he will fall short every time.

    3) Things are still far too heated on all fronts with the UK press and royal family, that I don’t think it’s safe for Harry to be there right now.

I think in the future, outside of funerals and maybe Charles finally becoming King, Harry should avoid all public royal functions.

All his future visits should be low key, largely for charity and only publicized after the fact and after he has left the country.

    • BayTampaBay says:

      4) No guarantee that COVID-19 is going to allow any type of public ceremony with any type of public gathering.

      5) The Duke of Edinburg could die.

      • Anna says:

Exactly. The children are the most important of all, and he is not going to risk her either being just about to give birth or just having given birth, only to travel and potentially expose himself to covid and then her and the children. Even if he “only* sees the RF, they haven’t proven to be very safe anyway. All in all, I’m sure he’ll decide to stay home in CA even though I’m sure he will feel sad about it. But the gravity of his and Meghan and the children’s situation, so similar to *why* the memorial is happening in the first place, that is not lost on him of course. His absence will speak louder than words, and on top of that, everyone knows he carries on her legacy. He and Meghan do together.

    • Lady D says:

I think he should only go back when his wife and children are also welcome.

      • MonicaQ says:

I don’t even know if he’d go back then. Seems like that bridge is embers.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Lady D, Harry & Meghan made a point of saying they can (will) continue to work with the charities but without the “royal” patron titles. I think when he or they decide to go to the UK they have friends that they can stay with and the press need never know they’re there. I honestly can’t see them bringing their children. I certainly wouldn’t.

    • L84Tea says:

The status unveiling could be one of the [many] reasons H&M are being so strategically vague about their due date. I mean, the Rota will write nasty headlines about them not being there no matter what, but why give them more ammo on the exact date, right? Otherwise they’d find a reason to parade her due date out as some deliberate thunder-steal. I can see it now, “Meghan gets induced 2 weeks early just to overshadow the ceremony! She wasn’t due until ____!! Burn her!”

  8. Sunday says:

I don’t think William actually thinks Harry will come to the unveiling – they’re just setting this up for the next big outrage (which will be conveniently timed to counteract any positive press surrounding the birth of Sussex baby #2). They’re trying to hype the ‘will he, won’t he’ of Harry going, then when he doesn’t William can be suitably incandescent re: ‘Harry’s outrageous dereliction of duty’ and take full ownership of Diana’s memory. ‘Harry spits on his mother’s grave while William looks mournfully on’. Of course, this is all being planned out by the genius PR team at KP, so I suspect it will crash and burn like everything else they plan.

    • a reader says:

This speculation is so gross that I can absolutely see BP playing it like that.

    • Snuffles says:

Prediction: While Kensington Palace is teeing all this up with the Royal Rota, Harry and Meghan will announce the birth of their baby girl June 30th and announce the name which will include a nod to Diana (like make the girl’s middle name Diana, Frances or Spencer). They will put out a picture of Harry, Meghan and Archie cooing over the beautiful little girl and the entire world will forget about the statue unveiling.

      **Mic Drop**

      • one of the Marys says:

Ok I want them to name her Frances and call her Frankie, Archie and Frankie !!!!

      • Chrissy (The Original) says:

Sound good. You should work in PR, Snuffles.

      • equality says:

He could skip it and put out a statement about preferring to honor his mother through charity instead of a useless statue.

      • swirlmamad says:

Ooh, I could see them using either Frances or Spencer as part of her name (likely the middle). I don’t see them using Diana only because W+K already made it one of Charlotte’s middle names, and who needs the Rats shrieking how they copied them and how terrible they are for doing so.

      • JustMe says:

I like Nadia Spencer as a name, as it uses all the letters in Diana.

      • Amy Too says:

I was lying in bed one night when I couldn’t sleep thinking about names for baby sussex and I remembered that Diana is the Roman goddess form of Artemis, the Greek goddess. Then I remembered that Archie was named for “arche” which is also a Greek word. I don’t think they’d go for Artemis when Archie is such a casual name, and Artie is too close to Archie, but Remi has some of the same letters. I wouldn’t actually bet on that, but it would be a clever and not obvious way to honor Diana without using her actual name.

      • PrincessK says:

@JustMe l think Nadia would be a brilliant idea!

      • Anna says:

Omg yes! And I love Archie and Frankie!

      • FicklePickle says:

@Amy Too I was just saying the other day, Phoebe, Cynthia, and Amarynthia are all epithets that were commonly used in ancient Greece for Artemis, and I think they would work very nicely as middle names.

They would also have the benefit of confusing most of the Royal Rota, at least initially. I know most of them have gone to very nice schools and all but I don’t think many of them really paid attention during the ancient Greek bits.

    • Myra says:

And the world will be there to ask him why he couldn’t postpone it to a more opportune time since he knows his brother has a newborn and a toddler at home. That for someone who asked for paternity leave himself but then deny it for his brother would be hypocritical and selfish.

    • I agree SUNDAY. This whole ‘will Harry show or won’t he’ is coming directly from KP. Once they pass one field goal —- in their seeming need to perpetually smear Meghan and Harry for breathing —- they move on to their next play. That next play seems to be the unveiling of the statue. These clowns are predictably pathetic. If William would put even a tiny bit of all his rage energy into actually trying to better the lives of British people —— Do. His. Job. —- wouldn’t that be a treat.

And, unfortunately, MYRA —- I think instead of the world asking William why he couldn’t postpone it, it will be the Royal🐀Rota braying that Meghan should have delayed the birth as once again she is disrespecting the Cambridges by stepping on William’s news cycle, as well as the unbelievable disrespect having a baby at such a time is towards Diana’s memory.

      • Miranda says:

Demanding that a heavily pregnant woman just “hold it in” for a more convenient moment would be Peak Entitlement. So of course William would do it if given half a chance.

  9. Gm says:

This is an excuse for William to grab all the Diana attention and credit. Not sure why it could not be delayed to August, so his brother doesn’t have to leave newborn but William wants to bask ALONE in the Diana glow and is using his kids and brother to do so.

  10. Murphy says:

If I have learned anything from following these people it’s–you just have to wait and see. Who knows what could happen between now and then. The UK could go under lockdown again, the Duke could die, who the heck knows.

  11. Becks1 says:

The headline for this post cracked me up. William is mad?!?!?!? What a surprise!!

And of course he’s mad. Harry was three words away from completely ruining William’s image – “William said it.” “it was William.” or a few more words – william is cheating on Kate. As it was just outing the conversation about skin color – just putting it out there that there WAS such a conversation – was pretty damaging. (I want to point out though that the DB is getting something wrong, its not the entire royal family that’s under the “cloud of suspicion.” Harry protected his grandmother and grandfather. The fact that he protected them but not Charles or William from the speculation is probably what’s really pissing William off.)

I think Harry may attend the statute unveiling, depending on the baby, just because he isnt going to want to cede that moment to William. But we’ll see.

    • molly says:

      I think they’ll find a way to cancel/postpone it.

Will and Harry might have been able to grin and bear it together if Harry still lived in the UK and only had to devote an hour to it all, but I don’t see him flying halfway around the world right after Meghan just had a baby. When they first conceived of the idea, I’m sure there were visions of the Fab Four with tears in their eyes and maybe some handholding and supportive back rubbing. It’s way too messy now.

      • Mila says:

I think they will/would too for the fact it’s very easy to do especially since the public can’t come any more because of lockdown and social distancing, it’s not as big as an event, people keep saying that William will want to bask solo in Dianas glory however the whole point of the event actually is so that William can leech of Harrys glory by standing next to him and sharing him or creating some kind of controversy to show his superiority as the ‘Big Brother’, The point of the event at this point is to watch their dynamic between them, try’ and force an awkward question, and analyse it for a year + afterwards as their ‘final photo together’.

Such will only happen tho if Harry decides to tell them the due date of the baby, which I honestly don’t think he’ll sacrifice, it seems the others only knew that they were even pregnant a few minutes before they told us, so them giving away the birthdate is unlikely until the day or 2+ weeks after the fact.

In an ordinary time I don’t think Harry would go back without his wife and kids to an event such as this, William already robbed him of having Meghan there during that Diana Memorial while they were dating, and he’s not going to let it happen/Be controlled like that again or Rob his children of their grandmother’s memorial and memory because of his selfish brother.

      • Gk says:

Good point. It would look terrible if just W attended and even though they would try to spin it to evil H ( and of course M) most people understand with a new baby maybe not a good time to leave or fly internationally. I THINK Advisors would tell him not to risk looking bad and delay another year citing Covid. But on other hand W may think spotlight is all mine and go ahead thinking his cute kids/ devoted wife enough. Charles either way will lose.

    • Jais says:

@becks1-Lol just had a vision of those 3 words getting commercialized. Like t-shirts or cups with “It was William” or “William said it.” The interview was so big that it’s in the zeitgeist so most people would understand the shirt phrase.
Also, I think the royal rota want Harry to be there and will keep playing it up till the end. William I imagine does not want him there.

    • Emmitt says:

Harry will cede the moment to William because it doesn’t even matter anymore. He’s not going to leave Meghan and the children so he can share the limelight with William.

  12. austingoddess says:

Raging and verbally abusing people is obviously how William controls those around him. Once you’ve yelled at and verbally abused someone enough, they do whatever you want to keep you from getting angry with them. My father was like this. I walked away from my family for 3 years until he learned how to treat me like I wanted to be treated. I’m cheering for H & M! Walking away is a HUGE step for Harry (and Meghan).

  13. zinjazin says:

“because W&K are (I’m paraphrasing) selfish, petty, small-minded people”
Is uk really sure they want to pay billions to these people for them to be their king and queen? And before them C&C? I mean I understand no one is perfect but still..

  14. Amy Bee says:

I think it’s really the press pushing for Harry to be at the unveiling rather than William. He will be absolutely fine with Harry not being there but he has to feed the media beast. I think there is a lot of pressure behind the scenes from the newspaper editors to get Harry to London. I hope Harry doesn’t go and he has perfect excuse not to which will be Meghan and the new baby. He will get attacked by the press and the courtiers for not showing up but he knows this already.

  15. JK says:

Harry’s friend Dean said Meghan was six months pregnant in his interview. I don’t know if he accidentally revealed something that was meant to be a secret or if it’s common knowledge.

    • Emmitt says:

Sounds like Baby Girl is a result of birthday sex.

      • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

BOTH of my nephews are lol. Their birthdays are exactly 2 yrs. and 2 days apart, and 9 mos. from my BIL’s birthday! 😂.😂.

    • MsIam says:

I don’t think so. That was my guess when the announcement pics first came out and then she said summer. So my guess is mid June. Now if she had said in the fall then he would be giving away a secret.

  16. sandy says:

I think it’s interesting the one thing none of the british tabloids are talking about how Harry said William is trapped. They’re happier to have tons of reports flying around that William is raging again – and while I’m sure it’s tied to a million things, I also think he hated that frame being put out there. Because the second they admit that – and truly, it felt like Harry was being deprogrammed from a cult in the interview – they’re done.

    • MerlinsMom1018 says:

@Sandy. I have a friend whose daughter was in a cult. The deprogramming (from what she told me) was lengthy and more unpleasant than anyone can imagine, but once the daughter had a “breakthrough” that was even worse and the anger, guilt and pain and loss of her old life really bore down on her.
I also thought Harry went through a deprogramming of sorts as well. Once he became fully aware of what was going on he bailed. I can only imagine he went through some of the same emotions.
I also think Harry nailed it which is why William is so angry.

      • 2cents says:

        Interesting that you mention deprogramming.

Harry’s deprogramming from the royal cult began early; his mother Diana told and showed her boys that the royal world was not the real world. It’s no coincidence both boys married commoners.

Then came his 10 year service in the army. He literally said this period was his escape from royal life.

His deprogramming continued with his mental health treatment, in his relationship with Meghan who offered him a fresh perspective and also the series The Crown contributed to it. He loved to watch it and even tipped Angela Levin to see it when she was writing his biography.

In The Crown he saw the toxic heir-spare-dynamic, that destroyed his aunt Margaret, in full display. He saw that the royal family would always put duty over family. This was a window into his own future. Yet he hoped he might change the system from within, because he loved his grandparents.

Harry completed his deprogramming when he had his own growing Sussexfamily to love and protect. The Oprah interview was a good demonstration of how much he has matured.

      • Dee Kay says:

Harry was very fortunate that while he was completing his deprogramming (and IA with 2cents, I think his deprogramming took many, many years and exposure to many different outside influences, including the Army, his Sentebale partners, Meghan, and maybe even The Crown), Harry had a wonderful, loving, supportive partner whom he saw he needed to champion, and with whom he could imagine living a beautiful life far away from the Royal institution. I shudder to think at how many people trapped in cults don’t have that inspiration or see any alternatives, and so stay where they are rather than risk the uncertainty.

  17. Gwen Evans says:

Congratulations to Harry and Meghan for the new addition, best of luck and good health to your family

  18. lanne says:

This media hype is indicative of the desperation of the rota ratchets. They have nothing to write about if Harry doesn’t return. William knows the spotlight is solely on him if Harry doesn’t return. The ratchets need Harry in order to have material. He and Meghan sell papers, not the Cambridges. So expect the ratchets to be waiting for Price Philip to die, and then the Queen, in order to bring the Sussexes back to the UK. I hope the Queen and Prince Philip employ food testers. The tabloid media is a beast that needs feeding.

    • MsIam says:

They are desperate for new pictures of the Sussexes, bonus if its with the kids too. The Cambridges are over exposed at this point. And unfortunately, nobody cares about the rest, although Eugenics new baby pics are cute.

      • FicklePickle says:

‘Eugenics’ is the best typo I have ever seen in relation to the BRF. EVER.

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Ianne, I just spit coffee all over my computer screen “food testers”. The sad part is that this family is ruthless enough that it can’t’ be ruled out.

  19. Jamie says:

I want a chart, similar to the terror threat level chart, that has the various phases of William’s rage. So far ‘Incandescent’ and ‘Engorged have spots. I just need a few more…

  20. Jay says:

Even if Meghan has given birth by the June statue unveiling, that’s an incredibly hectic and special first few weeks for their family that Harry might want to be on hand for! He can pay tribute to his Mom without flying to the U.K.

Also, if I were William, I would not want to be overshadowed by having Harry there, and it would also pull the focus of the event from honouring their mother’s memory to “Did one of the brothers ignore the other etc.” So I expect him to put out stories about how he’s the “dutiful” son, but to secretly be relieved.

  21. Rapunzel says:

Rage monster Wills still thinks his raging makes him look good.

I know it’s difficult to have sympathy for Kate, as she chose this, and is complicit in Wills’ machinations, but even a mean girl b-tch like her has to hate being constantly raged at by this toxic anger ball of a man.

It’s no wonder she and the kids live apartvl from him.

  22. L4frimaire says:

I’m so tired of the royals, the Rota and all their incandescent bullsh*t. They really are doing the absolute most to show they’re racist, ignorant and corrupt. At this stage it’s all about scoring points and it’s very reminiscent of when Weinstein was trying to discredit all his accusers. We’ve seen this before. They can take as many pictures with black people as they want but we saw this play out in real time since 2016. Even if Meghan was occasionally an asshole, that does no justify a sustained smear campaign using the national media and willfully ignoring her mental health for whatever they wanted to do. Then they kept attacking them and trying to undermine their security by leaking their locations after they left. At this point the only two people the British monarchy orbits around are the elderly Queen and Meghan Markle. It’s not much different from the Tudors in many ways.

  23. Julie says:

    Baldilocks! 😄😁😆😅😂🤣

  24. Jaded says:

I can see Harry doing a stealth visit, maybe on August 31, to commemorate her death, but he’d never show up to stand next to those two vipers and the Rota, especially with a new baby. Can you imagine how livid the tabloids, PWT, the Mannequin would be?!

    • Now that would be a photo! The Sussexes and their children commemorating Diana’s statue on their own timeline. After all, they are no longer part of the royal family so why show for William’s event. Harry is still Diana’s son, so he should just show up when it suits him and bring his own photographer. Sort of like the wreath situation.

    • Mila says:

That’s interesting I didn’t think of that, but you’re right I can see that maybe something like ‘Harry and his family will visit privately later next month or this month’ as – I personally t(ink he woulda thunk to take Archie et all

  25. Scout says:

I’m betting William has been told his entire life that his welfare is more important than everyone else’s.

Because his popularity will keep the RF and all connected jobs afloat, everyone else has no choice but to become human shields and sacrifice their own public image to keep W marketable. That gives W an enormous amount of power and influence.

And then Harry with Meghan go in a completely different direction. They balk at the palace kamikaze PR policy. Then they leave and dump all of the future royal duties on W and K – who are seriously lazy.

And they find an alternate way to earn money and live life.

    I bet he’s mad.

  26. Izzy says:

He’s angry, imagine that. This is my shocked face right here.

  27. Mooshe1 says:

Whenever they meet again I hope Harry confidently goes in there, he’s a boss, he doesn’t need those fairweather family members. He may have to bow but he’ll be the star and Incandescent will just have to deal with it

  28. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    You said engorged. Heh heh.

  29. equality says:

If William is not guilty of the racist remark, he had the perfect opportunity to deny instead of giving a vague “we are not a racist family” answer. It would have been more impressive to say “I have no idea who would say such a thing but I talked to Harry immediately to try to take care of it.” The fact that he didn’t makes me think he was in on it.

  30. Liz version 700 says:

This screams abuser (engorged abuser thanks for that image 🙁) yelling to his victims that they better start behaving because now he is mad. Harry is past the point where he needs to care he is an ocean away and has been in the process of gaining insight into this toxic family. Sadly I think he still gives them too much credit, but they are working hard to disburse him of any and all illusions. I hope Kate keeps the kids away from Incandescent Daddy when he is in rage monster mode. They are so young to have to deal with that kind of emotional abuse.

    • Mila says:

I agree the more I look at his dynamic with Harry and his descriptors (which I feel are much more reliable than Meghan’s, because they are meant to be complimentary to him). The more I actually start think he’s abusive. Even the whole ‘mommy Middleton’ thing is making sense now, she is the mother ‘moderator’ that strokes his head after a rage blowup like a teenage boy, when he’s rage crying. This is very much the father that a young girls runs away from because she tired of been controlled and having to watch their mum cry.

  31. Merricat says:

    Mad FFK William. Swell.

  32. MerlinsMom1018 says:

William is angry and filled with rage?????
In other news, water is wet 🙄

  33. Pamuk says:

I wish baby girl sussex would be born the morning of the unveiling, have beautiful chocolate skin and they name her Diana🙏🙏

  34. MsIam says:

I don’t see Harry going back this year, not for a long trip like that. Wasn’t Archie like 5 months old when they went to SA? So I’m guessing they would wait at least that long with this baby. Plus have they figured out the rules for the COVID shot for pregnant/ nursing women yet? I know some said they could but saw elsewhere that it wasn’t recommended.

  35. Liz version 700 says:

I hope Harry Nd Meghan make sure neither of these children are ever within 100 miles of their Incandescent Uncle or their cowardly Grandfathers.

  36. Likeyoucare says:

From the BM reporting the whole country hate HM. It is not wise for Harry to bring his family there as no protection will be given to Meghan and the babies.

Harry need to send a statement, i love my mother and glad and surprise that the statue is completed under willie supervision, as i know him as a complete moron.
Unfortunately, i feared for my family safety as my security team is not familiar with british birocracy.

  37. Emily_C says:

If it were important to the monarchy that brothers get along, the monarchy would have collapsed centuries ago. Monarchy wouldn’t be able to exist. Just be glad we’re not living at a time when a fallout out between princes involved armies.

  38. LaraW” says:

Just here to say that when I saw the word “engorged” I thought of a flea. Like in those gross but fascinating documentaries about parasitic insects.

  39. Dee Kay says:

I like the idea of Frances as the Sussex baby’s name! It would be cool to gesture to Diana without burdening the baby with Diana’s entire legacy.

  40. blunt talker says:

I was thinking the same thing about her due date-Late spring May to Early June-I think summer begins around June 20th-Prince William is not the only one with a raging personality-He doesn’t want to push Prince Harry into a raging personality by constant bullying and dad-mouthing him- I thought Prince Willie was too busy worrying about the racial slurs in sports-I forgot he is so bored over it-People that walk in that skin can never get bored with it.
