Boris Johnson & Carrie Symonds are expecting a rainbow baby in December

Boris Johnson Wedding

Boris Johnson has a chaotic romantic and marital history. Carrie Symonds is his third wife, and their son Wilfred is his sixth or seventh child, no one knows for sure. Think about that. The prime minister of an entire dang country has never confirmed how many children he actually fathered. Well, now BoJo is about to be a father for the seventh or eighth time (at least). Carrie announced her pregnancy on social media. She’s apparently far along enough to announce it, which means she was pregnant when she and Boris had their surprise pandemic wedding in late May, a little more than two months ago.

Carrie Johnson, the wife of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has announced the couple are expecting their second child in December. Carrie revealed she was pregnant and that she suffered a miscarriage earlier this year in an Instagram post on Saturday.

“Hoping for our rainbow baby this Christmas,” she wrote, referring to a child which is born after a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. “At the beginning of the year, I had a miscarriage which left me heartbroken. I feel incredibly blessed to be pregnant again but I’ve also felt like a bag of nerves. Fertility issues can be really hard for many people, particularly when on platforms like Instagram it can look like everything is only ever going well. I found it a real comfort to hear from people who had also experienced loss so I hope that in some very small way sharing this might help others too.”

The couple already have a son, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, who was born in April last year. The baby was given the middle name Nicholas in honor of two doctors who treated Boris Johnson while he hospitalized by Covid-19.

Both Boris and Carrie battled Covid last spring. She was far along in her pregnancy when she battled Covid and she was reportedly in rough shape too, just not as bad as Boris (who was hospitalized for a time). If she’s due around Christmas, that means she got preg around what? Mid to late March. So she was probably two months pregnant for the May wedding. And she had a miscarriage after giving birth to Wilfred in April 2020? Man, she’s been through a lot in two years. She’s only 33 years old too. Good luck to her.

I’ve just realised I’m a rainbow baby. I thought rainbow babies were born after a miscarriage not also after stillbirths and neonatal deaths. It’s made me a bit emotional.

    Wishing her a healthy pregnancy!

  2. Carmen-JamRock says:

Rabbits have nothing on them, huh?

  3. teehee says:

I’m embarrassed to admit– that wedding dress is actually growing on me.
Ok but I would not use it as such– just as a summer boho BBQ dress or for a photoshoot.

  4. Digital Unicorn says:

Congrats to them. How many children does he know have in total? 7?

  5. Splinter says:

I can see how she would want another baby. I doubt the other Johnson offspring will be too close with them.

    • L4frimaire says:

What is the age range of his kids? The man seems like he’s trying to compete with 19th C Mormon prophets in his fecundity, but best wishes to Carrie Symonds only.

      • Splinter says:

Apparently the four children from his previous marriage are in their twenties, and a teenager from an alleged affair.

      • Sushiroll says:

        Lmaoooo @ ‘fecundity’
        That sounds gross, yo
        Like, just…ew

Anytime I look at him, I’m just like, “Hope the money is worth it, darling.”

      +1. He is a horror.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

      He doesn’t have any money.

    • Yup, Me says:

He always always always looks like a dirty doll someone left on the ground at the flea market.

        I’m dying!! So true.

My friend has an adorable blond toddler and she sent me a pic of her daughter slumped in a lawn chair with grump-face and a crazy head of hair, split-screen with a pic of BoJo, and the resemblance was hilarious. Of course, the baby just took a “bad” photo and really looks like a sweet, happy child, and BoJo always looks like someone pulled him out of a Dumpster, so…

  7. Nomegusta says:

That man has fifty-eleventy children. Why are women still procreating with this evil man?

  8. duchess of hazard says:

Oh goodness, Tories breeding more Tories. WHY?

Carrie Johnson’s trying to mummy wash their images, honestly.

  9. SarahCS says:

I wish her a healthy pregnancy but nothing more for either of them, he has been beyond a disaster as a leader through the pandemic and she chooses to be with him. Nope.

  10. Pippin says:

They’re both morally empty parasites. As a woman I hope she has a healthy preg, but also don’t forget she cheated with him whilst his wife was battling cancer. The Tories have tried to kill us through covid infections, decimating the NHS, etc. If you guys want an equivalent, think about whether you would extend anything but the barest good wishes to Melanus and Drumpf.

These people are not nice and not good.

    • Sofacat says:

Hear, hear, hear. I’m in the UK too and couldn’t agree more. I wish nothing bad on her for her pregnancy but beyond that, nothing. She’s a grabber and he is a proven liar who cares nothing for anyone else but himself. People have died on his watch because of his incompetence and arrogance. The hypocrisy of clapping on the doorstep of 10 Downing Street then offering a 1% rise to NHS staff beggars belief. Absolutely the comparison between those two and Drumpf and I Don’t Care Do You is spot on. They are vile, vile, vile. I wish nothing but good on an innocent unborn child, but these two can go to hell. Ugh.

  11. kif says:

Evil, evil couple. My only positive thoughts are for their children to be raised by nannies with a conscience so they grow up to be decent human beings unlike these two soulless ghouls.

  12. Coji says:

Three pregnancies and covid within such a short time seems like a lot of stress on a body. None of my business but it sounds insane to me. I wish her well.

  13. Andrea says:

    Oddest political couple ever.

  14. Nyro says:

And of course this horrible woman will get nothing but love and good wishes on the news of her rainbow baby while Meghan Marble was mercilessly attacked when she announced her rainbow pregnancy. The grace given to white women, no matter how vile, is really something else.

  15. Dillesca says:

I wish her a healthy pregnancy.

    … But BoJo is GROSS.

  16. Aud says:

The british media is being much more sympathetic to her than they were to Meghan when she had her miscarriage.

I wish her a healthy pregnancy and birth!

  17. LadyAnne says:

Congrats and healthy pregnancy, sure. And stop stealing our hard earned taxpayer’s money for your hideous and unnecessary flat renovations and shady endeavors. TIA.

  18. Michelle Connolly says:

It’s incomprehensible that these people that said “Let the bodies pile high” in relation to people’s family, friends and loved ones death from Covid are courting sympathy here. How disgusting.
