The Rock surprises an LA tour bus in his neighborhood, thrills fans

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just seems like a good guy who is both gracious with fans and exceptionally clean. I always get the impression that Dwayne loves being a celebrity because it allows him to do cool things. On Saturday, Dwayne decided to pull up on a tour bus touring his neighborhood in Los Angeles. He posted a video to Instagram, that’s above, where he pulled alongside a tour bus and caused a ruckus, Dwayne stated that he loves surprising people. Below is his what he said in case you can’t listen to it:

To camera: This is kind of funny, this is a tour bus here that always tours through my neighborhood.
Tto fans on bus: Hey you guys know where I can find The Rock? How are you guys doing. Everybody good? You guys have a good trip. Love you too.
To camera: That was fun, good way to start off my Saturday.

The Rock’s new movie, Jungle Cruise, was released earlier this month on Disney+ and in theaters. I kind of want to see it because I love Emily Blunt as well. Like I said, Dwayne just seems like a good guy who wants to do good with his fame. I swear there is never any scandal surrounding his name. I honestly can’t believe that he started out as a wrestler for the WWE. He has come so far in his career and made great choices. Although I am not a mega Dwayne Johnson fan, I would have totally lost it if he pulled up next to a tour bus I was on. For the first time in a while (I am not into uber muscular dudes), I am acutely aware of how good looking Dwayne is. The man’s smile could melt the coldest of hearts, including my very dark one. I am sure the passengers on the bus got their money’s worth with that unforgettable appearance. And since we know Dwayne does these sort of “drive-bys” often, if I were the tour bus company, I would definitely talk that possibility up.

His smile to me is what makes him so attractive. It’s just so….warm and happy, IDK. I would have flipped out to see him like this!!

I do think its funny, in a nice way, how successful his movie career has been – I remember his first few movies and thinking “oh this is never going to work.” and now fast forward however many years and here we are! He’s a lot funnier than I had anticipated all those years ago. Jumanji is a favorite in our house.

We went to see Jungle Cruise in the theaters a few weeks ago and I LOVED it. I went in with low expectations and I ended up really really enjoying it. He’s perfect in it, Emily Blunt is really good, there are lots of puns (a necessity considering the ride), the plot is very predictable in many ways but there are some surprises -but really its the jokes etc that make it so good.

“it’s one of my boulder attractions.”

He has the best smile! I love that he’s always kept himself connected to everyday people. That connection makes him so very likable & he seems to really enjoy life and appreciate.

I just watched it over the weekend. It was a fun film. He really works well in this kind of adventure settings. I don’t find him to be the best actor but he has really nice and sincere energy on and off screen, and I love that he doesn’t shy from jokes based on himself. That boulder attraction was great.

    • Dierski says:

Totally agree about his smile – he lights up a room (or a car) for sure with that smile!

When I see older movies of him, he was very attractive, lean and fit. I feel he overworked his body, got too jacked up and it ruined his good looks. He now has veins bulging all over his body. I wish he had just maintained what he originally had.

    • Chaine says:

Yeah his body was optimal in The Rundown, muscular but not overly jacked like he is now. But then again, he wasn’t a big movie star then so maybe the massive musculature is part of what got him to superstardom.

    • Bean says:

He’s gotten super jacked to play Black Adam I believe. I hope he kind of tapers it down a little but that’s just my personal preference.

What a lovely charming man – love love him and long may The Rock reign!!

  4. Willow says:

Watching that made my morning! The lady who instantly recognized him and screamed the entire time will have a story to tell her grandchildren. And the driver thanked him. His fans are happy and he is helping out local businesses. Part of the reason he’s successful is because he’s such a nice guy and it really comes across on the screen.

  5. Jan says:

I love him. Great energy and he’s so sexy!!

That pic of him in the fitted sweater got me like…yum!

I think he is adorable and I love his sense of Humor about himself.

    So awesome!

  9. lucy2 says:

Aw that was really cute. A very nice thing to do for those people, I’m sure it made their day.

  10. Megs says:

Dwayne is such a good guy. I love the way he adores his wife and daughters, and he’s so good to his Mom. He seems very humble, and it’s clear that he appreciates his fans. Love the guy!

  11. Velvet Elvis says:

This is amazing! I’d love to see more celebrities do this kind of thing.

  12. The Recluse says:

    He’s so fun.

  13. Gail Hirst says:

I stan. Right now, my favourite Dwayne moment is from the Hobbs & Shaw movie. Jason’s character : “…do you think I’m stupid”. Dwayne’s character: of COURSE I think you’re stupid”
oh, I’m grinning just thinking about it! Dwayne’s inflection is PERFECT. I hope they had a blast making that movie, cause I sure have fun watching it!

Was that second video a slight (disney approved) dig at Scarjo?
