When I first saw these pictures I didn’t realize that Zoe Saldana’s Cartier crop top was made of chain mail and that you could see through it, so I decided to cover it anyway and turned off the ads on this post. She really did that! I liked Zoe’s Fendi Oscar gown, which was different, understated and so beautifully detailed. Zoe and her fashion are really growing on me for some reason. I think it’s her attitude. Look at her here, she’s like “yes I wore a chain mail top without pasties, so what?” Her skirt is Michael Kors.
Do you remember Halle Berry’s Ralph & Russo Oscars gown? It was white with gold roses as accents and lovely. She wore this Oscar de la Renta nightgown thing to the VF Oscar party. It was bad! Her whole ass was showing in this dress. Her stylist posted a close up photo of her bling though and that was awesome.

Jennifer Connelly wore a different Louis Vuitton gown to the VF Oscar Party and it looks a little sporty, right? I think it’s the tank top over a bandeau. She’s a LV ambassador so I get why she wears their stuff, but I would have loved to have seen more of a nod to her Top Gun character. Do loose hair, a dress with a blouse over a skirt, something like that.
Monica Barbaro looks incredible at the VF Oscar party too! She wore Elie Saab to the ceremony. I don’t have an ID for this but it looks like old school Westwood to me. She’s just gorgeous. The Top Gun cast looked like they were having a ball too.

That’s a no for me, dawg (on Zoe’s look). It looks uncomfortable, and just why? If I looked as good as Halle Berry (at any age), I’d be showing my entire ass, too. That lavender (?) dress is just gorgeous.

Monica is so gorgeous. I love this look better than the ceremony look only bc she kept fidgeting with that one in the chest area so I wish they would have tailored it more or used more tape or whatever to make her more comfortable.
Both of Jennifer’s looks were awful. But she is another star that brought her son to the ceremony. Loved all the kids on the dirty, mildew carpet.
Jennifer’s look is giving baggy overalls. Not cute. Halles dress looks like a baby doll dress which doesn’t suit her. She looks good in everything except this dress.
I’m with you guys that it sounds awful, but she’s also an actress who has played an alien, like, thirteen times at this point. Perhaps after all that body makeup her nerve endings are dead?
My Multiple Sclerosis makes it so that even wearing my nightgowns with the inside seams against my skin is unbearable. I hate leaving the house on days I’m itchy, which goes back and forth between often and all the time.
Perhaps it’s possible she’s wearing clear pasties – protection, but still visible?

I would be SO uncomfortable in a chainmail crop top, LOL. Good for Zoe if she enjoyed wearing it, but I couldn’t do it.
Monica’s dress is gorgeous. The drape on the shoulders is perfection.
I loathe see through clothes that show too much. Why is this a thing? The literal whole point of these dresses is to show boob and get attention for it.

Thank you for turning off ads on this post. Recently the scrolling ads have made it really frustrating to try to read posts on my phone, at least, for me. I scroll, they reload, I scroll, start reading a paragraph, it gets covered by an ad.
Halle Berry is stunningly beautiful, but the length of that dress does nothing for her as she has unsightly knees.
