The final part of the much-hyped Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion just happened. There weren’t a ton of content surprises if you live online, but watching these people actually say and confirm some of these things… wow. Just wow. Tom Sandoval’s rude comment about his sex life with Ariana Madix was leaked on Deux Moi a few weeks ago, but in context it was even worse, if that’s possible. Ariana commented that they were still sleeping together while Tom was sleeping with Raquel and he couldn’t stop himself from clapping back on the betrayed ex-girlfriend he says he loves by saying “she kept her T-shirt on, it was really hot.” Awful!
Tom Sandoval was not making friends during the final episode of the Vanderpump Rules reunion special.
Wednesday’s special had a lot of drama, swearing, snide comments and bitter vitriol throughout — but there was one moment that seemingly unified everyone against one person: Sandoval.
As has been the case throughout the three-part special, much of the screen time has been devoted to “Scandoval” — the drama surrounding Sandoval and Ariana Madix, who split up earlier this year when Madix discovered that her boyfriend of nearly a decade had been cheating on her with fellow castmate Raquel Leviss.
At one point during Wednesday’s special, host Andy Cohen asked if Sandoval had slept with any other women since sparking his affair with Leviss, to which Sandoval said he had not — and denied rumors that he hooked up with another woman in Chicago last year.
This is when Madix brought up an important point, stating, “Well, you know who he did sleep with after he and Raquel started sleeping together? Me.”
“She kept her T-shirt on, it was really hot,” Sandoval shot back sarcastically.
In an hour of television filled with screaming and fighting and loud retorts, the speechless silence left in the wake of Tom’s comment was deafening.
“You’re such a f**king d**k,” Lala Kent declared, as James Kennedy asked simply, “What the f**k dude? You’re f**king disgusting.”
Even Sandoval’s longtime best friend, Tom Schwartz, was left with nothing to do but hang his head and quietly mutter, “Don’t say that, dude. Don’t say that.”
“This is your future Raquel,” Kent said, almost sympathetically. “He’s gonna talk to you like this too.”
Sandoval’s defensive “OK, I’m sorry” response was, unsurprisingly, not quite enough to win back any support.
So disrespectful and unnecessary. And he apologized to Schwartz, not Ariana! Tom keeps crying and pretending to be contrite, but then habitually lets the mask slip with sh-t like this. He apologizes because that’s what he’s supposed to do, but then he can’t help himself from taking shots at Ariana and defending himself and Raquel when he should just stay silent and take it. Same goes for his little side chat with Raquel after she left the stage. The pair pretended to be sobered and affected by the gravity of what they’ve done and everyone’s new opinions of them for five whole seconds before they started laughing and joking. Ugh. They also admitted, under Andy’s questioning, that they are in love, but I don’t think anyone aside from Raquel believes that Tom loves her. I am not sure Tom actually would have gone through with the breakup and I think that now being confronted with what he thought he wanted he is making the best of the situation he created for himself by sticking with Raquel.
And Raquel couldn’t even stick to his narrative. In a sort of addendum to the episode, Raquel did her final interview after the reunion in which she admitted several things we already suspected. They kept insisting their affair was a one-time thing until January, but she admitted it was ongoing, including when they were all in Mexico for Scheana’s wedding. And finally, she debunked the stupid lie that she dipped out — no went to Tom’s room — no slept in the guest room — after the beach day / Jacuzzi night while Ariana was away for her grandmother’s funeral. Tom really wanted to lie on that point because it’s a bad look to have sex with your affair partner in your home while your girlfriend is away for a funeral, but apparently Raquel couldn’t lie about that anymore. As if she’s not still lying about other stuff, like St. Louis. As if we thought there ever was a world in which cheaters have a boozy Jacuzzi sleepover and don’t have sex (though I guess they do drink a lot, but there’s always the next morning). Her crying over that confession to a producer was the most emotion we’ve seen from her throughout the whole entire scandal.

He looks worse than “just” a soap opera villain. He looks like what a show would put together if they were spoofing a soap opera villain. I feel awful for Ariana, but at the same time, she can go find anyone else and it will be a better choice than this gross, cheating, self important doofus.
I did feel a twinge of sadness for Raquel in that last interview, especially when she said “I have to lie like Tom wants me to because if I betray him I’ll have nobody left”.
I mean, look, she’s obviously responsible for her own actions, but it’s becoming really clear that Tom is a narcissist who manipulated the sh*t out of her. It was really uncomfortable to watch her crumbing under the weight of trying to keep up with the lies.
So many of us get to go through life and never really have our moral backbone tested in any real way. Rachel was unlucky, in that Tom, an even bigger sociopath than herself, realized she’s a morally bankrupt fool who is pathologically competitive with other women. Aka a perfect affair partner. So, yeah, he’s Trump to her Mike Pence. If it weren’t for Tom, she could have probably gone through life as a vapid meaning-girl with pretty privilege. But I don’t feel sorry for her.
My husband is out of town this week and I have been guilty pleasure watching this every night. Urgh, these people. Oh and why does he wear white nail polish? It is not a good look, I’m talking about the color, not a masculine thing. Well said Gruey! You summed it up so perfectly.
I sort of agree – particularly in that he realized she was perfect prey. But I think it was worse than that, I think that he also realized that she was possibly not on the level if you will. That part where she mentioned that she wanted to approach Ariana about them being a throuple? And him advising not to do so? Yeah, he knew she wasn’t playing with a full deck. I think he deserves a lot more blame in this situation than she does. Lala was right on a lot of things – he’s a narcissist and yes, he’s dangerous. And also, what she said on WWHL, it’s harder what to make of Raquel, but reality tv probably isn’t the best or healthiest for her to be on.

That is a perfect analysis for Tom and Raquel. She is the perfect victim of his narcissistic sociopathic behavior, but it’s hard for me to feel much pity for her. Considering all the brazen gaslighting, their constant deflections, and excuses for their hideous decisions. She has apparently been in some mental health treatment center for over a month. IF she comes back to the show, after all that, then I really have no pity for her. If this situation didn’t make her analyze and get to the bottom of her low self-esteem and her pathological need to compete with other women for men’s attention, what the hell will?? Tom is definitely the worse of the two, and there is nothing redeemable about that lying asshole.

Usually I don’t like to speculate or comment on anyone’s personal appearance in a derogatory manner – especially when women critique each other. But you know what after that Tshirt comment, he really invited it upon himself – so yes, I agree, he’s done something to his face, but what!!! Maybe a combo of Botox and some sort of face lift? Brow lift or something else? Not sure, but he’s def done something!!!!

I read an article yesterday that what’s not being said out loud is drugs, they’re only talking about his drinking problem. But also he’s a 40 year old man apparently staying up partying every night in WeHo till 6 am. And he wants to blame his partner for not being into him enough.
Sometimes I think there’s a disconnect for a lot of people of a certain age or upbringing where they were, in many ways that are complex and real, taught to think sex is transactional or worse, owed. Ditto feelings.
Sandoval’s idiocy isn’t unique. Right? We’ve probably all heard something like that before. I have and my response was basically, Get out. Really. Leave.
My Jaw dropped at this comment. What a total POS. Anyone who thinks Rachel was honest in that final interview is a fool. Tom is a liar who lies and manipulates. Rachel follows his lead – both are still lying through their teeth. If Rachel thinks she’s special….. well, reconsider when Tom does what he did to Kristen, Ariana, and you. Rinse and Repeat.

I think Sandoval is an idiot, but I also think the rest of the cast is overly hostile. Most of them have been in shady relationship situations in the past. It’s not like Sandoval boiled a grandma.
But then again I have not really watched this series until now.
They are all a really gross bunch. Ariana was really nasty to Kristen when she and Tom broke up. I know that Kristen was a mess-ass mess but Ariana was still horrible to her. She doesn’t deserve any of this, it is interesting that Tom is the center of another disgusting story.

I came here to ask the same thing. I’ve been mostly ignoring whatever this is but there’s something to read about it every day. Is this a reality show? If so, they’re all there because they want to be. Is it a scripted show? If so, then why are they arguing about whatever happened? Who or what is the Vanderpump?

Yes, that’s my first question. My next one is “why do people think reality shows are real?” Sure, Whoosits and Whatsits might be big fat liars, but the whole production is manufactured.
I mean, you don’t have to click or comment on every story. For me it’s nice to have stories about something other than the constant BRF drama for a change.
Katie and Ariana have a shirt on their Something About Her website (for the sandwich shop) that says I F* in this shirt and it’s a picture of a cartoon Ariana. LMAO I hope it sells out.

This reveal was no surprise for many; I think most people speculated that their affair timeline was a lie. IMO, Raquel/Tom are STILL not being honest. I have little doubt their affair started when Raquel was with James, and that was the impetus for her ending the engagement. Raquel is an insecure woman who needs a man’s validation, so the idea she would up and leave a relationship with no backup plan is extremely far-fetched to me.
The group came down hard on them, but Sandoval still wouldn’t take accountability! His comment about Ariana having a tee-shirt on during sex was SO GROSS!! He is a true narcissist who only wants people if they build up his ego; he could care less about their needs, it’s all about him. It was creepy and unsettling to see Racquel without any emotion or affect. At least she finally seemed human in her confessional at the end, breaking down.
Notice how long it took Sandoval to respond when Andy asked him if he loved Raquel? It was almost as if you could see him running the different scenarios through his head if he said yes and the other scenarios if he said no and yet others if he said I don’t know. Geez Louise, what a slimy guy.
This mess is a good example of hurt people responding and the abusers having to listen to the anger and hurt since that doesn’t occur very often. Team Ariana has the right to react and Team Disgusting should hear it in person and can respond. No mercy for either abuser. If Rachel has mental health problems she still needs to face it, maybe just maybe she’ll sometime learn something worthwhile from it. This wasn’t a one off this was months of lying cheating and gaslighting.

Yes I noticed that! Also found it cringey in a previous episode when she bought the matching lightning bolt necklace, there was a scene that was cut out but shown in the Peacock version (yes I watched both), she asked the sales person for a discount on the necklace if she made an Instagram post in exchange (ie, an ad). There was a silly online rumor that Raquel had a $30mln net worth. I think this should put an end to that.
I see that so often on these Bravo shows! Particularly the housewives shows. They’re packing for trips & everything in their closets still has tags on them! I don’t get it, I truly don’t! Do they buy stuff for the show & then return it all after filming? Do their assistants just buy stuff & eventually they get around to trying it on? Do they have the gall to wear these things with the tags on them & return them for a full refund later?
Yes, Ariana has her faults and foibles just like everybody else, but what Sandoval did to her was unconscionable. IMPHO, he fell out of love with her and decided to COVERTY/SECRETLY pursue Raquel. Raquel was “looking for love in all of the wrong places” (i.e., also kissing Schwartzy on one of their recent vacays) and got caught up in the situation of his changing his mind during Scheana’s (2nd) wedding not to escort her down the aisle (being a groomsman in the wedding party). This is all not going to end well for Sandi and her!
I don’t watch the show, but I have been semi reading about it online when it comes up. Sandoval sounds like the ultimate King Baby. A narc who needs to be centered in all things and when his partner had the temerity to have needs outside of his own universe, looked elsewhere. Damn.
