Chris Brown deletes his Twitter account after telling music industry to kiss *ss

R&B badboy, Chris Brown, is driven away from Avalon after his evening performance, Los Angeles
Yesterday people noticed that Chris Brown was lashing out at the music industry through his Twitter account, and complaining about stores refusing to sell his new CD, Graffiti. Chris tweeted (this version is cleaned up and he used the full words) “im tired of this sh-t. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f-ck do i gotta do… im not biting my tongue about sh-t else… the industry can kiss my ass.” Everyone kind of clucked their tongues and said that Chris was just showing his true angry and abusive nature.

Joy Behar and her panel on CNN discussed Chris’ nasty tweets. (Link leads to video.) When they wondered aloud who he was angry at – the industry or Walmart – one of them asked “Who is within punching distance?” adding “It’s amazing he has a career at all at this point… He lost his career because of his personal problems.”

According to sources quoted in the Bill Zwecker’s column in the Chicago Sun Times, Chris’ anger management classes aren’t working and this is just one of many incidents in which he’s blown up. “He’s been losing it regularly,” their source says.

Chris might have one less venue in which to vent his frustration at how just the world can be. He deleted his Twitter account yesterday afternoon, probably after his handlers heard the fallout from his obnoxious tirade. MTV has the news. They also say that the Walmart in Wallingford, CT that Chris personally visited and got all up in arms over not seeing his CD had simply sold out of it. Oops! Hey – that reminds me of the $300,000 Oops! necklace Chris bought after the world learned that he beat his girlfriend to a pulp and bit her earring off.

Chris Brown’s irate state of mind, as displayed over the weekend in a series of angry tweets, came to an end Monday afternoon (December 14) when the embattled R&B artist abruptly canceled his Twitter account and abandoned tens of thousands of followers.

“I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT,” Brown posted on his @MechanicalDummy account, moments before it was deleted. “I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!”…

Over the weekend, the 20-year-old continued his attacks on music retailers, telling his Twitter followers that he had gone into a Walmart and discovered that his record wasn’t even available for purchase. “Just was at Walmart in Wallingford CT, 844 north colony,” Brown tweeted Saturday night. “The[y] didn’t even have my album in the back … not on shelves, saw for myself.” Brown said he talked to the store’s managers and “they didn’t even know anything. Wow!!! But they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this Tuesday comin … the manager told me that when there are new releases it’s mandatory to put em on the shelves … BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS.”

A sales associate at the Walmart in question told MTV News that the store had actually sold out of the album.

Throughout the weekend, representatives for Brown and his label, Jive Records, were not available or had no comment when MTV News reached out. Similarly, they would not address Brown’s apparent cancellation of his Twitter page. Now, when you click on his @MechanicalDummy alias, viewers are greeted coldly with a “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist” notice.

Someone with control over Chris’ career told him to cut it out or risk alienating the silver of goodwill people may have left for him. The kid made his bed and he’s not going to have the cash to stay in it. He’s going to have to start selling off some of the toys in that “Fantasy Factory” he said he was building. It will be more like a fantasy double wide.

that’s a shame cos he is a total twit

  2. Lway says:

WTF is he doing in the last picture? The facial expression and the size of his arms in that shot ….. it’s just not flattering at all.

  3. n says:

no hope 4 this guy — he can’t ever learn how to be a human and own his mistakes.

    say: i’m sorry.

  4. Enonymous says:

He can deleted all he wants, people already know about it, to all of us it was just another confirmation of what an asswipe he really is, to him it was another nail to his coffin.

  5. Bonfire Beach says:

Totally off the point, but what’s with the Lego keychain hanging off of him? I can’t help but notice stupid details.

  6. Enonymous says:

He is also wearing what looks like an actual spray can around his neck.

  7. rm says:

I love how they put non flattering photos of him on this article I hope the media does more to ruin him.I personnaly think he is a ungrateful peice of trash.

  8. lilred says:

What a self entitled idiot. He needs to grow up, own up and man up, maybe then he will realize that he is the one responsible for his situation, and no one else.

  9. diva says:

He is really dumber than I thought, Walmart is the biggest retailer in the United States and to call them out is totally insane. Now he can be sure that Walmart will not stock his product. I’m sure his label ordered him to get rid of his twitter, they are probably frustrated that his sales are so low and tired of his antics.

  10. Iggles says:

    @ diva:
He is really dumber than I thought, Walmart is the biggest retailer in the United States and to call them out is totally insane.

Yep. He is as dumb as rocks. Possibly dumber..

And the funny thing is his CD *was* sold out at that store! He had a temper tantrum over nothing! What an idiot..

  11. lastwordlinda says:

And just the way he is handling the fall-out from his previous behavior is an indication that a) he has a nasty temper which he does nothing to control b)he is extremely immature c)he still doesn’t get it that what he did to Rihanna was wrong and totally not acceptable in a civilized society d)he would lose it with someone else in a heartbeat.

  12. Obvious says:

what to say what to say. he’s doing a better job of vilanizing himself than the media could ever hope to do. All i can say is keep it up Chris. This “Pity-Me Train” is actually kind of amusing these days.

  13. Tia C says:

Wow, he is really on the self-destruction fast track! It’s like passing a bad auto wreck on the highway. I really don’t want to look, but I just can’t help it. He has stuck the proverbial fork in himself, he is done!

  14. gg says:

“The music industry can kiss my ass.”

LMAO! all righty. That was so smart. Boy, what a genius.

  15. bullet says:

I find this guy kinda fascinating. The underlying sense of entitlement that leads him to conclude that an apology and a smile will resolve all is something to truly marvel at. I think his label and his handlers need to have a major heart-to-heart with him and explain that his 15 minutes were up a while ago.

  16. la chica says:

his people seriously miscalculated. he was supposed to be the next Michael Jackson so when Michael died, they rushed to put Chris into the spotlight instead of putting him on ice for a couple of years while the furor around his beating of Rihanna died down. bad misjudgment, just like their charge.

the irony is that Chris’ CD is much better than Rihanna’s. at least he has better dance songs that will attract more radio play. Rihanna’s CD is thoughtful but depressing — she had a lot of pain to express. but where i will buy hers, i will not give him a dime. i am flummoxed that his management doesn’t get that.

  17. Megan says:

I agree with la chica, he should have gone away for a while and let the whole Rihanna thing die down and get old before coming out with a new album and promoting himself every where. People just won’t take to it.

  18. Trillion says:

It’s interesting to see which scandals stick to public figures and which seem to slide right off their backs. I’m sort of surprised – and glad- to see that this guy is feeling repercussions of his actions. (as opposed to R. Kelly, for example)

  19. lucy2 says:

Boohoo. The oh so difficult life of Chris Brown.
Seriously, he needs to just GO AWAY. He should have done so after everything happened, but he kept pushing, and looks like he finally got pushed back.

  20. WTF?!? says:

“Costumers” hate to be lied to. Maybe that’s why he’s always dressed like a retard.

  21. Mo says:

Wow!!! Chris….well as your biggest fan….i really wanted that CD because I feel that everybody makes mistakes weather you beat Rihanna up or not people shouldn’t hold you too that because we all make mistakes in life….( and yes I am sticking up for him….if you don’t like it then stop reading it….as i was saying how would they feel if they did something and the world found out about it and their feeling the same feelings that your having….yea it wouldn’t feel so good would it….plus we need some good peple in the music industry who is actually making music because the stuff that is out here now is GARBAGE!!!! and chris made love songs not GARBAGE!!!! so Chris if your CD’s was so sold or not i still commented you to go and seek out the problem….but also you really didn’t have to blow up….(but i wouldv’e too)!!!!

    Love his Biggest Fan

  22. GatsbyGal says:

WTF is that lego Sonic the Hedgehog head hanging off his pants? Sonic isn’t cool anymore.

  23. NoFearKiwi says:

its not just a little mistake that he did, its weak!!! Can’t control yourself hitting a woman, where i come from you hit a woman you gotta face all the boy’s. Unless a chicks gotta weapon or built like a man and can smash you, don’t go there, thats for pussy’s who can’t fight, take it to the ring or go home. ive done mistakes in my life but never been pussy to hit women. Rihanna needs a real man

  24. ron says:

chris is just a mad man at this point let’s give him some time to come back to reality and then be the judge.

  25. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

His ‘Costumers’, what the heck? Ha, ha, ha!

  26. dovesgate says:

Chris’ fans are just as illiterate as he is. Why does that not surprise me?

  27. shanice says:

  28. slymm27 says:

OMG! people get off his case. I bet you have all done something so terrible, you wouldnt want the world to know about!. You are all so judgemental and hypocritical of celebrities, and hold them to weird standards.he is a young young guy who made a mistake, and has apologized time and time again, and yet you all sit there studying his face and body language trying to figure out if he is being sincere or not!
