King Charles scrambled to announce a military event with Prince William

Just so we’re clear, because very recent royal history is being rewritten as we speak, two Sundays ago, Prince Harry confirmed his visit to the UK. That news was greeted with an avalanche of royal commentary about how Harry needs to see his father, how King Charles demands to see his Sussex grandchildren, how the palace has “noted” Meghan’s absence and her lack of support for a cancer-stricken king. The message, over and over, was: Harry better beg Charles for a meeting. Then Harry ruined all of that commentary yesterday, upon his arrival in London, with his spokesperson issuing a direct statement saying the king’s schedule is too full to meet Harry and Harry understands. Well, Buckingham Palace has decided to counter with: Charles is scheduled to see William next week, and Harry is being snubbed on purpose! Y’all.

Buckingham Palace has announced a joint engagement between the King and Prince William next week after it emerged Charles will not see his other son Harry during the Duke’s UK visit. Prince Harry met a millionaire financier this evening after admitting King Charles was too busy to meet him in what experts said was a ‘snub’ that reflected the depth of their rift. Yet now the Palace has announced King Charles will meet with one of his sons – William – on Monday to hand over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to the Prince of Wales.

Buckingham Palace announced today: ‘At the Army Aviation Centre in Middle Wallop, His Majesty The King will officially hand over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. In August 2023, following His Majesty’s Accession, The King was pleased to announce military appointments including that The Prince of Wales would become Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps. The role was previously held by His Majesty The King, as Prince of Wales, for 31 years.’

The announcement that the King would pass on the role he held for 31 years to his eldest son came just two hours after he said he was too busy to see his youngest son.

‘Timing is everything,’ one royal insider said, while another said the monarch’s decision not to see the Duke of Sussex during whistle stop visit to the UK – despite only being three miles apart – ‘will be widely perceived as a snub’.

‘This, whatever the logistics, will be widely perceived as a snub,’ royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline. ‘This is one of the most public rifts in the world. If it was handled in private without so much press speculation, it would have a better chance of being resolved.’

Echoing the same sentiment, former BBC Royal correspondent Michael Cole added: ‘It is quite a snub. For the King to not see his younger son, Prince Harry, although the two men will be only two miles apart tomorrow afternoon, gives an indication of the depth of the divide. The Prodigal Son is not welcome – not for the present, anyway. In royal terms, this is big medicine. Prince Harry is bound to see it for what it is, the clearest possible indication of the hurt that has been caused. There can be no mistake: this is a royal flea in the ear for the fifth in line to the throne. Actions have consequences but rarely are they played out as starkly as they are here.

‘Even Prince Harry, never the sharpest sword in the Household Cavalry, is bound to have got the message and many people will say, ”About time too”.’

[From The Daily Mail]

“Even Prince Harry, never the sharpest sword in the Household Cavalry, is bound to have got the message” – in fact, it was Harry’s spokesperson who announced the lack of meeting because Harry knows exactly who his father is and what kind of dumbf–k games Charles is playing. The message is: Charles wants to clout-chase Harry but Charles also wants to blame Harry for not meeting, not bringing the kids over, etc. Harry killed that narrative so the palace and the rota are scrambling. The fact that Charles had to announce this dumbass “handover” event with William just hours after the Sussex statement is giving Panic At The Palace.

    Lol, these people 🤡

    • AlpineWitch says:

      Clowns would be offended 🤣🤣🤣

Also, the constant reiteration of “Harry isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed” from the journalists makes them so petty, bitter and pathetic, really. As far as I’ve heard from people who have met Harry and William, the latter comes across as unengaged at best and a cretin at worst, while Harry has been praised so much by people.

      #abolishthemonarchy, it’s time.

      • Jais says:

Right? Harry’s not the sharpest tool in the shed and yet he created the successful IG? It just doesn’t even ring true when they say it anymore. The man is so clearly bright and engaging every time he speaks. Kay is just trying to keep up some sort of propaganda that Harry is dumb which is weird considering he’s a mouthpiece for the palace. The palace really want people to think he’s not as smart as William. Who makes jokes about films involving rape.

      • acha says:

Harry is smarter than Charles, who had to dig out the cruelest person on the planet to survive becoming queen. Smarter than William, who found a person willing to chase clout to become princess, but who ultimately broke under pressure so hard that they are still scrambling for excuses for where she is and what happened. (May she recover!!!)

Harry was smart enough to let himself get saved by an incredible American princess, and he’s benefitting every day from not being around that cesspit.

      • Dee(2) says:

It’s incredibly petty and unprofessional. How can you find it ethical to call the subject of an article your supposed to be reporting on unbiased stupid? Never mind the fact of he’s the stupid one why is he the most successful? If Harry was the dummy William should be out here winning Nobels and Pulitzer’s.

      • booboocita says:

Harry is the first to admit he doesn’t read much if he can help it, or spend time with books. He wasn’t much of a student at Eton, certainly. And yet he possesses a keen emotional intelligence that makes him a highly effective leader and organizer, and gives him tremendous insight into human character. He’s not an intellect — but I challenge anyone in the fakakta palaces to best his smarts.

      • Jais says:

@acha, the way you ended your paragraph with “may she recover!!!” made me laugh but it’s true. Whatever she’s done or whatever is going on, I wish her a healthy recovery. It just makes me think of some sort of medieval call and response. Whenever we hear Kate’s name, we must say “All hail! may she recover!”

      • Aye lwinonah. They won’t share their problems with children that young. It’ll mess them up the way Will was messed up being Diana’s confidant says:

I am beginning to doubt King Charles’ IQ too. He looks so petty. Time to move on. Charles is really disgusting. He doesn’t even want to see the grandchildren who are innocent.

      • aftershocks says:

LOL @Dee(2). Exactly! 💯 And I would def bet on Harry winning the Nobel and the Pulitzer! 😉 🤌🏽

@Jais. Nope. IMHO, to borrow @Gabby’s apt honing in, the ‘call and response’ for me would be:
        ‘Where’s Kate?’ — Aww Hell. WGAF 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Booboocita, right! Harry is not intellectual, but he is smart, courageous, and a leader with the highest of ideals. Together with brilliant, amazing, intellectual Meghan, they do nothing but win, win, win. And the BRF and BM do all their p.r. for them. It hasn’t been easy, if course. They have gone through the fire and are honed

      • aftershocks says:

^^ To finish my thoughts from above:
H&M have been honed like diamonds. ❤️‍🔥 The BRF and BM/ rota continue trying to bury them, forgetting, not realizing, or ignoring the fact that they are seeds.*

        * paraphrasing from the famous words by Dinos Christianopolous that Meghan quoted in her final Archetypes episode.

    • Alex Can says:

They’re demented clowns though. The petty vindictiveness of it all. How are they not embarrassed.

      • Gabby says:

How are they not embarassed? Here’s how.

        William – alcohol
        Camilla – alcohol
Chuckes – my staff tells me I’m winning
        Kate – WGAF?

      • aftershocks says:

^^ Whoa @Gabby!! 😯🤭 You ain’t pulling no punches! 🤺 No lies detected either! 😝🫡🥂

    • Feeshalori says:

I would say BP and KP are the dullest knives in the drawer.

    • Becks1 says:

I’m laughing over this. It’s so obvious, desperate and pathetic. They think they’re doing something here and all they’re doing is showing themselves for the jealous pathetic losers they are.

They think this is some sort of flex, but it just isn’t.

    • StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

The best clowns are still clowning. They got nothing on Harry, he’s on top. The vererans are taking note

    • goofpuff says:

The BP and KP PR departments are terrible. They’re tripping over themselves with self-inflicted wounds trying to snub someone who doesn’t care.

Snub Harry! By making the Windsors look more like they could care less about their veterans and showcase how completely useless they are. And especially show the Invictus board how much they don’t want Invictus on UK soil.

    • Polly says:

Harry knows the game and plays it better…by being honest and transparent. The BRF mind can’t comprehend.

    • aftershocks says:

^^ Eh, for sure, for sure @Polly! This is a real reality ‘Game of Thrones.’ I have actually never viewed that TV show, but I have been following the royal drama since just before Diana came on the scene with her innocence, beauty, playfulness, and her adamant refusal to be molded into the wallpaper role of ‘long-suffering wife of the playboy Prince of Wales.’

As @Kaiser significantly pointed out in her commentary: “… very recent royal history is being rewritten as we speak… [With the Archewell press statement] Harry killed [the latest BRF/ BM] narrative so the palace and the rota are scrambling … Panic at the Palace.”

As Meg said in the H&M documentary, “Harry has always been on his own path.” He’s always been “a quiet observer” too, as Diana noted when Harry was not yet two-years-old! Diana knew the characters and temperament of both her sons even though she had no way of knowing how future events would transpire. To some degree, the royal firm knows, too. Otherwise, why would they even care to battle with, attempt to character-assassinate, obsess over and try to one-up an imbecile?

Harry has always been his mother’s truest son, charming, brilliant, playful, mischievous, rebellious, and a leader being made to fit the role of wingman and Spare to the Heir. He would never have fully come into his within the gilded cage, though. It took the love of a good woman to set Harry free. He knows this and he wears this on his sleeve and in his heart!

      • aftershocks says:

^^ On second thought, I would say Harry is ‘intuitive, caring, and smart,’ rather than necessarily ‘brilliant.’ Harry is a leader who leads with his heart and his highest ideals.

Also, I meant to say, “Harry would never fully have come into his own…”

  2. Brassy Rebel says:

A military event for William right after the royals snubbed the Invictus service. Duly noted!

    • LRB says:

It looks so good doesn’t it… so proud of my royal family they just keep getting it right 😂

      • Righter and righter wing.

I mean they could save the day by making a new medal to award to Suella Braverman, then at least there might be a debate over who deserved it least

    • Miranda says:

Kinda reminds me of Trump, actually. Do Charles and William just not want to hang out with the “losers” who got maimed?

      • Barb Mill says:

This reminds me of the recent Netflix movie The Scoop when Andrew and the palace folks who observed the interview as it was happening and thought it went rather well. How dense can these royals be? The only people who think this is great are exactly the like the idiot trump cult.

    • Monika says:

The palaces, all of them, have such a lack of self-awareness. They do not get how people will perceive this, no support for wounded veterans but a dress up party.

    • Shawna says:

Sorry, UK, you’re not getting Invictus. For all of you who want to say, “But there’s a board!,” I bet the board is paying attention.

      • Becks1 says:

I don’t think they’re getting IG either. One thing that has become consistent with IG over the last decade is involvement of the host country’s leaders. We saw that in Canada, we saw that in Orlando, we saw that in the Hague, in Germany…..the commander in chief would be expected to make an appearance or send a very high up representative (such as his heir.) Snubbing the event because they want to snub Harry would not be a good look at all and I think IG is taking notes, for sure.

      • kirk says:

Well, some people in UK are supportive. If you’d forgotten what Charles Spencer said at Princess Diana’s funeral, here’s a reminder: https://www.marieclaire.com/celebrity/royals/princess-dianas-siblings-support-prince-harry/

      • Christine says:

I agree, there’s no way they are going to set Invictus up to fail with a toxic media and bitter royal family. They rightfully want the attention to be on the athletes and how positive and uplifting the Games are, not…this.

      • Miranda says:

@kirk – Thanks for sharing that link, it makes me so happy to see the Spencers stepping up for Harry, while his garbage father and brother snub him to go play dress-up.

      • Shawna says:

@kirk – that story is so cool! But the fact is Charles and William colluded to TRY TO humiliate Harry around military affairs during this Invictus anniversary. IG is more than Harry, but surely this is too far.

      • aftershocks says:

Yep, guys! The Brits on the Invictus board and the British military honchos gave it the good college try, and the Hail Mary pass. But with these latest stunts pulled by the palace and the rota… 🙄 Hmm, if 2027 Invictus isn’t a fait accompli for Washington D.C. by this juncture, I will be astonished, bamboozled, dazed and confused. 😵‍💫

This 10-year celebration service will suffice for acknowledging the British origins of IG and honoring their veterans’ worthy participation. Perhaps that was the service’s intended purpose all along, cuz Birmingham better not be awarded the 2027 IG. Overly toxic, unsafe, and messy vibes continue emanating from the U.K. toward the Sussexes. And let’s be realistic: Harry & Meghan are the ‘face’ of the Invictus family. They sell the Games via their high profile and through their sincere dedication to benefiting the veterans and their families.

    • Eleonor says:

Honestly ? I think this is all on Charles, Williamo is too lazy and now he has the perfect excuse to do nothing.

      • swaz says:

And this my friend is why WILLIAM IS SO LAZY 😁😁 everything is just handed to him 😏😏😏

      • Barb Mill says:

William is probably not happy about this. Now he has to show up to event that wasn’t on his schedule. How dreadful for him. Isn’t this the first time they will be seen together this year?

      • Jais says:

Honestly, we don’t yet know the exact dates that Harry and Meghan will be in Nigeria but the award event is probably both Charles and William attempting to counteract Harry’s shine.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

Uniforms and sashes great, wounded servicemen, don’t want to know. What sort of message does that send to our armed forces, their CIC and his heir don’t care.

    • JJ says:

I hope after this, Invictus never goes back to the UK and that Harry completely writes the Windsors off. They don’t deserve Harry or Invictus so good luck to them with their majorly trimmed-down, ineffective monarchy.

      • kirk says:

Well, theoretically. Chuck and Willy are Christians, and in their role as spiritual leaders, gifts of the spirit are important — gifts like forgiveness, love and repentance. So improvement is possible, even if someone’s been raised to believe they’re ordained by God to rule over others. Notably, Harry did a bible reading at the service, I Corinthians 12:4-11 — sounds like ‘service is universal’ regardless of which version you read.

      • aftershocks says:

@Kirk, you seem uncharacteristically magnanimous toward Chuck and Willy.

In my view, they are both hopelessly mired in their own goo, and beyond redemption. They can’t see past their sense of entitlement and status quo perks and creature comforts. If the rota and courtiers tell them to ‘cut off their noses to spite their faces,’ they both jump to comply, apparently.

It would have been a no-brainer for Charles, or at least Anne and some of the cousins to show up at the Invictus service. They could have at least ‘put a face on it.’ That the firm cruelly decided against doing the very least to acknowledge Invictus and their own veterans, is mind-bogglingly stupid. Practically incomprehensible and lacking in sound judgment. Their ineptitude knows no bounds! 🤦‍♀️

  3. Sandy says:

Shameful. This reflects extremely badly upon the old mean man. What a turd. Are you proud of yourself Charles? You sure showed Harry, great job! H is like the ONLY person who’s going to be genuinely sad when you die. Not angry Baldy, not Hagface… But yea, golf clap for you.

    Ugh so over it.

    • WiththeAmerican says:

Charles looks so petty and small, and what keeps getting left out of the decision making in the firm is that Charles is supposed to be the nation’s grandfather.

This family is supposed to be divine and ideal.

But he’s snubbing his son in public and hasn’t even met his granddaughter.

      • Liz says:

I’m in UK Withtheamerican and he’s the grandfather I’m glad I didn’t have.

On another note if you have time Google Kate Middleton pic by Alexsandro Palombo an artist who highlights dv in women.

    • Ciotog says:

This guy sucks so bad at being a father. There is nothing my daughter could do to make me treat her this way. Even if she stabbed me with a lightsaber, I’d react the same way Han Solo did. Do they not understand how bad this makes Charles look?

    • rosa mwemaid says:

Camilla won’t be happy when Kate becomes Queen, if she is still around.

    • @debbye says:

Yes, Harry will grieve the most. He will grieve that all chances of having a real dad and relationship will finally be gone forever. I know how it feels to want that relationship that will never be. 63 years old here and even with therapy there is still that sliver of hope. Just like a sliver of hope someone will love me, romantically. I have family that love me. Just never had the other love.

      • Pajala says:

@Debbye, I hope you don’t mind my saying that I’m one year older than you and I believe that romantic love is highly overrated. Yes I had several relationships, but so many men, at least of our generation, are in love with themselves and view women as arm appendages. I hope you can recognize that many who present a ‘romantic’ front are secretly miserable.

      • aftershocks says:

^^ Yep, thanks for sharing @Debbye, and thanks for your perceptive comments @Pajala. I think it’s very true and important to love oneself first and foremost. Become comfortable in your own skin and aligned with your life purpose. If you are meant to be with a special someone, it will happen if you are yourself, free, and open to new experiences and people entering your life. So many of us carry unneeded burdens around blocking our purpose and leaving no room for light and love.

What H&M have together is very rare and special. But let’s remember how much their love has been tested. Let’s recall the great sacrifices they both made to be together. Loving someone is more than just a notion, and beyond being easy breezy. If it doesn’t happen for each of us in this lifetime, so be it. Still, be yourself fully. 🫡 Miracles can abound in that alone.

  4. Tessa says:

William is really the prodigal son. He did not do any work to help his father. William can now play dress up in a uniform. By the way where is kate

  5. Hypocrisy says:

This was a total petty bitch move by Chuck and Peggy.. 100% used to try to demean Prince Harry, but it truly is demeaning to the military and service members to be used this way. Prince Harry as I said previously has matured so far beyond these people that they now look like a global joke.

    • Tessa says:

Will probably will shirk duties here too.

      • Harper says:

Willy is backed into a corner. If he’s a no-show KP would have to announce his absence has nothing to do with Kate, which would automatically trigger another world-wide round of Where is Kate? Since we know how annoyed Will gets when Kate is mentioned, he’ll have to display that famous royal grit and show up for his prize.

  6. Water Lilly says:

    Middle Wallop is hilarious.

    • Christine says:

Right?! How very Four Seasons Total Landscaping of them. I’m shocked they didn’t roll out an entire formal ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

      • WiththeAmerican says:

Hahaha omg I spit out my drink. This is totally giving 4 seasons total landscaping and Rudy G flop sweat

      • QuiteContrary says:

If you’re on Twitter, Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s account is a fun follow.

    • Truthiness says:

The Army Aviation Center in Middle Wallop sounds straight out of Monty Python.

    • cazzie says:

It IS a real place. I was an Army brat and my Dad worked there back in the day!!

    • Blithe says:

There’s also a Nether Wallop. Perhaps someone with a wry wit on Charles’s staff planned this? I’m expecting great things from the captions accompanying the pictures for this event!

      • Water Lilly says:

@Blithe, I was wondering if there was a Bottom Wallop, as that would have been appropriate for Peg. Copykeening Four Seasons Total Landscaping could not be funnier 🤣

      • Christine says:

Now I want to go to Nether Wallop! How did it get its name? I have so many questions.

      • booboocita says:

        Is there an Upper Wallop?

    • Teagirl says:

It’s from old middle English or old Norse, waella and hop, with waella meaning well, and I suspect hop probably means some sort of movement, so perhaps running water.

My favourite English place name for a town or Hamlet is Queen Camel. Seriously, it exists.

  7. Nubia says:

What actually needs to be looked at closer is Charles and William’s relationship. I doubt they even like each other or spend any time together,Charles probably doesnt even see the Windsor grandkids either. Charles,William and Kate are perfomatively united in the Harry hate but in their own relationships I doubt its exactly stable or functional.

    • Tessa says:

No mention of whereabouts of kate.

    • SussexWatcher says:

I’m pretty sure this ceremony will be the first time we’ve seen them together (or even any rota rats report of them seeing each other) since everything went down with Kate’s disappearance in December. I could be wrong but I don’t think we’ve seen Chuckles and his liege man for life together in all of 2024 (yet).

      • WiththeAmerican says:

You’re right, and even before Christmas Charles skipped Kates carols and William and Kate skipped Charles Christmas lunch.

Then William has yet to visit his dad who has cancer, nor did he visit in hospital unless his drive by wasn’t even to see his wife.

For some reason these things never get brought up by the BM.

      • Becks1 says:

We haven’t seen them since Christmas, which is fine, whatever. It is entirely possible that William is visiting Charles in a private capacity especially if he is at Anmer frequently as we have been told. they don’t do a lot of joint public engagements so the lack of those over the past few months is not significant to me.

what IS significant to me however is that we have not HEARD that William is visiting Charles. Like I said, entirely possible he’s visiting Charles frequently in Norfolk. But is it probable? No, not in my opinion. If it was actually happening, we would have heard about it. We heard KATE had lunch with Charles, we’ve heard about phone calls – nothing so whatsoever about William and Charles meeting in any capacity. So I’m going to assume it’s not happening bc I think William’s team would put it out there if it were, especially after harry’s visit in January.

      • Christine says:

I agree, Becks, if William could leak to the press he was having super secret private time with Chuck, he would do it. He would view it as one-upping Harry, which we all know is his drug of choice.

  8. Tessa says:

You richly deserve your lazy heir charles

  9. girl_ninja says:

When will folks start announcing Chuck and Peg be as Loserrrrrrsss?!?

  10. equality says:

The event also has to do with PW learning about the Apache and unveiling one for the army museum. People need to flood SM with pictures of PH actually flying the Apache and serving in combat. I wonder if KC would have given this appointment to PH even if he were still a “working” royal. Since KC held it as POW, I bet it would have gone to PW all along. And don’t compare PH to the prodigal son. The whole point of that parable was forgiveness and reconciliation with a father. It is to illustrate a father’s love. Charles doesn’t even know what love is. He isn’t a suitable father or a suitable leader for a church.

    • Tessa says:

The prodigal son comparison is so off base for another reason as well. Harry and Meghan got married to build a life together and had a family. They got forced out by charles and William. William called for a fake investigation of Meghan. Kate let a lie about Meghan stay in the media. Harry and Meghan would have stayed had his birth family or some behaved like decent human beings

    • Roseberry says:

They’re hoping to double punish Harry, as he was in the Army Air Corps for his helicopter pilot training. From an army family and my youngest brother was in the AAC based at Middle Wallop ( which sits between Over Wallop and Nether Wallop!!)
If you’re going to post on SM, it’s the pictures of him in a light blue beret with the winged cap badge.

      • Berkeleyfarm says:

Over Wallop, Middle Wallop, and Nether Wallop are such Incredibly Story Book Olde English place names.

A friend of mine is a vicar and she has a multi point charge including a Great/Little combo but having a big-middle-small one is aces.

    • Feeshalori says:

Yes, equality, they absolutely misinterpreted, deliberately I’m sure, the parable of the prodigal son. I guess they just liked prodigal and ran with it, twisting it to their own ends.

      • tamsin says:

The analogy doesn’t work. The father in the parable is loving and forgiving. The prodigal son left home, squandered his fortune and came home home because he had ruined his life so far. Harry was driven out, and has made his life purposeful his own fortune, and created a loving family with Meghan by becoming a father. Harry is definitely not prodigal. In the parable, the elder son stayed home and apparently did his duty. That really can’t be said for William. I think if William had the chance, he would behave like the prodigal son. William, in my opinion, has yet to take responsibility for himself, or anything at all. He has an entire institution to take care of him financially and a raft of courtiers and the RR to clean up personal messes.

      • Gabby says:

Wouldn’t dad dancing with blond babes at a ski resort during the Commonwealth service be more in line with prodigal son behavior?

    • Moniquep says:

Yeah, Willy will be pretending to fly the apache. Let’s hope he figures out how to start the engine, and not just make helicopter noises with his mouth

Will Quixote keep fighting with that windmill!

      • booboocita says:

Okay, he probably won’t make helicopter sounds … but the mental image of the man sitting in the cockpit screaming, “Wheeee! Wacka-wacka-wacka …” has me ROTFLMAO!

      • Christine says:

        “Wheeee! Wacka-wacka-wacka …”

        LMAO! I nearly peed!

  11. Maxine Branch says:

Another example of pretend. Harry knows his birth family so well. He just glides into England does what he needs to do and glides out. Their playbook is so tired and obvious. The adoration Harry gets from those he interacts with on a global stage trumps all the medals and awards handed out by his insular birth family. You have to pity them. When all else fails, their mantra is let’s hand out an award or appointment. Pity.

  12. Lynwall says:

I know that they think it makes them look good…..this line they are taking.
We remember that Harry visited the king from California before his heir who lives a few miles away.
    They.so.live.in.a.bubble.within.a.bubble.
    The world is watching …..sigh

  13. Christine says:

BP could not look more dusty and archaic if they tried. They actually arranged an event to pass an unearned rank from Charles to William. Juxtaposed with the excitement around the Invictus Games’ tenth anniversary, the monarchy could not look more outdated and irrelevant.

  14. SussexWatcher says:

I wonder if they’ll ever catch on that intentionally snubbing your own child and finding ways to be continually cruel/rude/harmful/a right asshole to that child and his family is…not a good look. The rest of the world looks at all this and sees king Chuckles for the petty, stupid, insular, tiny little abusive man he is. The rest of the world looks at the man who – as head of the Church of England – is supposed to be an example of love and compassion and acceptance, but who is the complete opposite. He’s petty and small and sooooo insecure.

It’s so pathetic. Both the king and his liege man for life, The Deviled Huevo, are pathetic. And the rest of the world sees you for who you really are (and you too, rota rats, doing their bidding and lying through your teeth).

  15. They will never learn just how awful this little military event looks after they refused an invitation to the Invictus anniversary. I’m not surprised by this it’s what they do but people have eyes and brains and know exactly what this little maneuver is about. They think they are one upping Harry but in reality it’s nothing more than cutting their noses off to spite their face.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

And to make it worse, they probably think they are doing the right thing.

      • LOL extra points for pretending that KFC has a moral compass.

The man is on legal record as having his aides decide that if his son were to be killed, “people would get over it”

We all gave up pretending or “thinking” he is driven by morality after that was published by a court of law

      • aftershocks says:

^^ In connection with the RAVEC suit and court hearings, regarding the pulling of Harry’s security protection in Vancouver; or the denial of his and his family’s protection in the U.K.? Or was it in connection with Harry’s much earlier military deployment? Please be specific.

  16. s808 says:

This is so funny. Charles can’t stand William either and “snubbing”. Harry is the only thing these 2 can ever unite in these days. Will this be the first time they’ve seen/spoken to each other in months? Oh Harry, I hope you recognize the power you have here. The King of the land and his heir scrambling to be seen to be the “united” front they’ve never been to desperately try and 1-up you because they are so completely bothered by you.

    • Jais says:

Yes, it will be! This will seriously be the first time they’ve been seen together since Christmas. It took the presence of Harry to reunite them😂. My feeing is that Charles and William have been having issues and yet now they’ll be seen together. All to stick it to Harry. Charles and William really do despise Harry. More than even each other. It’s giving pathetic desperation. Panic at the Palace😂

      • WiththeAmerican says:

Petty Panic at the Palace! 🤣

As someone said above, meet at Four Seasons Total Landscaping for an epic medal exchange!

    • Debbie says:

@s808, How can you mock poor Charles and William’s pathetic attempts at “bonding” by his giving a booby prize to William? Didn’t William and Kate make a point of bonding over their Sussex resentments too? Well, look how well that turned out.

      • WiththeAmerican says:

That’s exactly what I thought of. Hatred and resentment are the only bonds this family understands. How sad. They only unite to stick it to Harry and Meghan.

They look so pathetic and small. They’re just proving that they are not global, they are giving themselves awards no one else cares about while H and M are traveling the world to lift others up.

  17. Tina says:

Do they not realize how pathetic and silly they look to the world? Are they going to drape themselves in medals they didn’t win? This is just designed as a snub for Harry but honestly that man has moved on. I don’t doubt he was sad to lose the military patronages but he has had years to make peace with that and now he is giving back to those communities on a global level he probably never anticipated.

    • Eurydice says:

I don’t think they realize how inconsequential they are to the rest of the world. This may seem like a big story to them, but most people don’t give a rat’s ass about the RF. And at the end of the day, what matters is what they do with their privilege. The RF is standing around squabbling and giving each other medals – H&M are actually trying to help people.

    • booboocita says:

And Harry didn’t wear a KCIII coronation medal at today’s Invictus celebration, although he did wear his service medal and the medals awarded to him by his grandmother. I’m beginning to think his POS father never gave him one. Joke’s on you, Chucky Boy — Harry still looks fine (FOINE!), and you look like a petty, vindictive lil’ snot.

Honestly, I think Harry is just over his bio family. He’ll still visit the UK from time to time, particularly when he’s wanted for Invictus or WellChild or his other, remaining patronages, but I think his ties to his bio family on his dad’s side are well and truly severed. So glad Earl Spencer and Lady Jane were at the celebration to show support for their nephew and for veterans.

      • Feeshalori says:

Lady Sarah was there too, so I’m really happy that all of Diana’s siblings stepped up and were there to support him.

      • Chrissy says:

I’m so glad Diana’s siblings showed up to support Harry. I’m sure he was touched!

  18. I’m sure the wounded veterans would agree.

  19. Eurydice says:

So much rewriting of history. Harry has always been snubbed on purpose. These “experts” keep pretending that Charles isn’t King, with the capacity to do whatever he wants.

On another note of revisionist history, the BBC has a piece on why H&M left the RF – it says it was because they couldn’t pursue building their Sussex brand.

    • Dee(2) says:

They’re rewriting history because they are successful. They need to make it seem like they had no intention of doing all this good work within the family because people will reasonably ask why they couldn’t stay if they were hard workers. At first they were definitely trying to push the narrative that Meghan was a narcissistic shallow actress and Harry was a dumb weakling protected by his family. Being this successful on the world stage being respected and feted by organizations and governments worldwide buries that, so now it’s they never intended to work within the royal family anyway.

      • Eurydice says:

ITA. I guess I was surprised that the BBC decided to go this route, although I should have expected it.

    • swaz says:

They can re-write all they want 🤣🤣GOOD KING HARRY IS TRENDING 😍

    • rosa mwemaid says:

The BBC really has gone downhill since the Tories put one of their own in charge. Meghan wanted to go because of the racial abuse she was getting in the British media, that came from Meghan.

  20. Miranda says:

“This is one of the most public rifts in the world. If it was handled in private without so much press speculation, it would have a better chance of being resolved.”

And whose f–king fault is that, Rich? This POS acting like the DM isn’t Patient Zero when it comes to press speculation, constantly inventing new deadlines and moving the f–king goalposts as to what Harry “must” do to reconcile with his father and brother.

    • Jais says:

Yes! Richard Fitzwilliams saying that was something else. As he speculates to the press.

    • WiththeAmerican says:

Rich is giving New York Times level trolling there with “People have no idea what good President Biden is doing, therefore we are attacking him more over his age while giving Trump fawning coverage because he might not have actually been asleep at his trial.”

    • booboocita says:

Abusers will always caution their victims/survivors to keep quiet. Don’t embarrass the family, don’t wash your dirty laundry in public, everyone will blame you if you tell on us … I know this schtick so well.

Here’s a different take: Cockroaches hate sunlight. Sunlight is a great disinfectant. Air the secrets. Name and shame. Don’t let anyone tell you that you telling on them will destroy you. Looks to me like it was the making of Harry, and now of Meghan. There’s no one who need feel embarrassed or mortified but the abusers.

  21. Giddy says:

I can’t decide if KC is ignoring Harry from deep within his own jealousy, or if William screamed and stomped his feet until Charles decided he’d better snub Harry. (You’d better not see him Daddy, you’d better not! And you need to give me something pretty to show everyone that you love me best!)i So KC is getting the son he helped William become. Meanwhile, Harry with less of his father’s attention, was clearly better off. Congratulations KC.

  22. Shawna says:

Charles is really selling his soul for William. I thought he would only do that for Horsilla!

  23. Tarte au Citron says:

It is so pathetic. We KNOW Billy Idle doesn’t go out unless there is beer and/or celebrities, so they can miss me with that ‘busy schedule’ excuse. Harry is a busy man in his own right. I am so sick of these stupid ‘snubbing’ stories from the British media. It has been 4-5 years!!

Do the Swedish RF pull this move whenever Princess Madeleine visits from the US? AFAIK they don’t, but happy to be corrected.

    • Liz says:

So Charles is showing his support for the son who disappeared his wife. Their hatred for Harry runs deep. What a way to bond.

  24. QueSera says:

Again, not perceived as the flex they ( the media) think whatever this is.
I think it makes sense for them not to meet – there is no need for the working Royals to be present – there is room for all to positively impact the armed services in various ways – invictus is for veterans, there are other areas to support – e.g. currently serving etc …

Also if they did meet or go to the events, the World’s media would report on the meeting and that would be the takeaway headline, shifting the focus from the real purpose of the trip and what the headline should be. The Invictus purpose would be a foot note if they did meet. For them not to meet/ to snub Harry is the normal expectation and do the non royal media will talk about Invictus . What the British Tabloids write about is not important as their narrative has been the same for so many years , to the rest of the non Royal world is it is background babble / Muzak as nothing in the reporting sounds different- all this was predicted here by Kaiser a few weeks back – first speculation of will they won’t they meet and then the too busy to see Harry/obvious snub as he takes too much energy and then activities and visibility will increase – so this announcement of honor being given to the PoW ( though he lives in the Royal fold so why is this being presented as choosing one over the other – so strange but not my field so meh) and let see if Kaiser other predictions comes through between today and during the Nigeria trip.

The one difference is that the media seemed to have finally figured out that they are the ones making this difficult and nasty that they are the ones putting planks to widen this rift as it’s the 3rd time I have seen/heard this perspective from various British royal Rota: “ This is one of the most public rifts in the world. If it was handled in private without so much press speculation, it would have a better chance of being resolved.’”
Also from this article you know they know Harry loves his Father, the description of who spare was negative about has now only 3 persons and KC not mentioned.

It is still so strange to see this snub him/shift spotlight strategy still being employed as it’s not a good look outside of the British media – all supporters are entrenched in their respective camps – no new hearts will be won over with this strategy though people are fatigued by hate-ish energy. Que sera.

Invictus is about people who survived battle and are trying to recover mentally and physically and find a place in the world. We also have talks of how Europe & the U.K. have to build up their armed forces and improve confidence in people to join the armed services AND no one stopped to say – from an optics perspective – let’s pause our distraction tactics against Harry as it impacts the veterans and instead for the media let’s center the people benefiting from this ten year anniversary. All this babble and aim to shift spotlight looks like an inability to put service above self interest. Of course, the media could be distorting as this for revenue and not care how the King look.

  25. TurbanMa says:

Hilariously bad at their nepo jobs… they could just ignore Harry and pretend there’s no comparison but instead they do this… underline that they are acting and playing at doing anything substantial while PH actually does something significant that impacts the world. What on earth is wrong with these people. I hope history books are written about Charles and William, the dumbest king and heir to ever live. Ideas for working book titles?

    • Liz says:

      Dumb & Dumber

    • s808 says:

Right? You’d think as Royals they’d believe playing these kinds of games with someone who has left the fold is “beneath” them but they’re not. Harry is look like the bigger person and the more benevolent one out of the 3, everything the King and his heir should be. Their advisors are really really terrible and do not have their/the firm’s best interests in mind at all.

    • Jaded says:

And Harry doesn’t need dozens of fakakta medals, swords and uniforms to shine, he shows up at IG in casual dress and is adored by the veterans, military personnel and media. Then you have Chuck and Willbur dressed up like Halloween soldiers, having done absolutely NOTHING to earn their faux uniforms and medals, not to mention the respect of the military. We see right through you, you fraudsters.

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

TurbanMa, how about ‘Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy’.

    • Gabby says:

      The Crowned Tampon Chronicles

  26. Over it says:

It’s like Charles and company live up their own asses. You want to be head of military departments but then you snub the very people who fought for your freedom and safety? Does no one in the palaces come outside for air and understand the real world? Jfc. What sad pathetic fools.

    • Berkeleyfarm says:

I have to wonder if (be)Deviled Egg will suss out that his brother hired a competent British spokescritter and actually make moves to hire someone competent on his own.

(I think between laziness and the Good Ole Grey Men network, it won’t happen.)

  27. Serena says:

What traspires here is that 1) the Palace still is shooting their own foot, I’d give them a prize for making the RF look this pathetic and low 2) indeed Chuck will only meet William to spite Harry (as if he cares atp) 3) in fact there hasn’t been A SINGLE news or sighting of Willnot to his cancer striken father, even though they are almost neighbors. Maybe the media should focus on that.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

Apart from raising advertising revenue the main reasons for all these stories about Harry and Meghan is to distract readers from asking, Where is Kate?

  28. Roo says:

I wonder at what point other organizations give their opinion and preferences to the IG Foundation? Surely, the NATO general who came with 1100 of his people to Germany would look at this bullshittery and suggest that England is not a welcoming place for injured veterans. Other organizations supporting injured veterans and their families would think the same.

This gives off such a feeling of amateur hour. Isn’t the UK government embarrassed?

    • Berkeleyfarm says:

I loved that NATO visit. Not only was it the troops/staffers, it seemed that folks brought the whole fam damily (as we say where I am from) and were happy to be photographed with Harry and Meghan. It certainly showed that the event/org was regarded with respect and something worth throwing whole-hearted institutional support behind.

The petty BS that the BRF is doing is in stark contrast with other participating nations/orgs sending large delegations/high level visitors.

  29. Amy Bee says:

Yes, this Palace announcement was a tit for tat. Pathetic.

  30. Feebee says:

Putting Charles and Harry to the side, the Head of the Armed Forces refuses to meet with the founder of the Invictus Games as the U.K. bids for the 2027 Games.

So much for the much vaunted “soft diplomacy” of the Royal Family.

We’ve had no reports of William seeing Charles since everything went down, has Charles had to schedule an official event in order to have that happen?

The tone of the articles, a snub here, the prodigal son isn’t welcome there, Harry’s too dumb to work it out… literally more abuse. He has their number in reality and it drives them crazy.

It makes me wonder, why did the King bother granting him an audience back in February (?) when he announced his cancer? If the rift is so deep etc.

    • Feeshalori says:

I think as others have speculated that Charles met with Harry for the sole purpose of asking him to return to the UK to help out and Harry refused. After that, Charles didn’t want anything more to do with him because Harry wasn’t going to be useful.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

Harry was allowed to meet his dad because William didn’t have enough notice to bully him into saying no. Or perhaps it was because Harry only came to Britain it see his dad so he allowed him 20 minutes, it would have looked very bad if he had turned his son away unseen after travelling so far. Of course this time Harry’s prime purpose of coming her was Invictus.

    • Lisa Meyrose says:

It was my understanding that Charles needed Harry’s signature on something.

  31. bisynaptic says:

Middle Wallop? Is that between Tiny Wallop and Great Big Wallop? 🧐

  32. Surly Gale says:

In ‘Blue Bloods’ there’s a scene where the Acting Mayor makes a major mistake against the police. When she shows up to ‘pay respects’ each and every officer turns their back on her. It’s such a powerful moment. This is my hope for BaRF and their military pretend games. I hope each and every officer and enlisted man turns their back during this ceremony. If they cannot bring themselves to turn their back on the King (very vaguely understandable), It is my fervent hope they will turn their backs on wee willy. That would be *chef’s kiss* IMO

    • Berkeleyfarm says:

My normally quiet alma mater got in the news for all the wrong reasons and the then-Chancellor was beyond a ****up about the whole thing. The students organized an evening vigil where they lined the sidewalks between the admin building and the admin parking lot. Chancellor came out of the building and every. single. student silently turned their backs. It was powerful and I was so proud of them.

  33. Julianna says:

Obviously Chucke is using Heuvo to try and hurt Harry again. He is so blatantly malicious and petty. What’s new though? This is the same father that stopped Harry from wearing his military uniform at his grandmother’s funeral and banned Meghan from going to Balmoral. These losers are literally awarding theirselves fake unearned titles, medals and appointments.

I do feel like something happened at that last meeting they had together though. Harry was not there very long. Why did Harry fly all the way over for a 45 minute meeting? Did they have an arguement? It just seems a little strange. If Harry can make a super short special trip all the way to the UK to see Charles then why is Charles suddenly completely unavailable to him when he has a planned trip there? And on top of that being an extra petty shit father. I just don’t understand.

For a very short moment, I might have thought Charles could act like a decent human being and father after cancer diagnosis but even something as life changing as that he still cannot manage to show even the smallest fraction of respect, kindness or love for Harry.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

Actually Harry couldn’t wear his uniform to granny’s funeral, he hadn’t reached a high enough rank in the army, he would have had to stay until they made him a major, then he could of worn it.

      • equality says:

Actually with the rank of captain he could wear the uniform. In the UK any veteran has to have permission to wear the uniform to special events.

  34. CM says:

Every time Harry sets foot in the UK they run around like chicken little. Its complete insanity. Enough already!

  35. Jaded says:

Ah yes…more unearned braids and medals and ribbons. Pretty soon Willbur is going to be so burdened with them he won’t be able to walk without assistance, esp. if he’s had a few liquid refreshments.

We all knew this was coming. One-upmanship at it’s most glaringly obvious. SMH, that family is so predictable.

  36. Lulu says:

Sorry Birmingham, I was rooting for you as IG would really be a boon to your economy. Please let Charles know you hold him responsible. DC will host a wonderful IG 27.

  37. QuiteContrary says:

Maybe William will wear his big-boy airplane slippers … while Harry does the work of Invictus like the man he is.

Charles is a horrible father and a cretin. The UK can kiss its chances of hosting the IG goodbye.

  38. meredith says:

I’m sorry but how can the british tabloids spin this to make charles look like anything other than a colossal prick?

His son is trying to visit him and he says he doesn’t have time.

This monarchy ended when QEII died. I tend to agree with Tina Brown that she stayed in power too long. But it’s pretty clear that she knew her heirs would f–k it up like this so what choice did she have?

Charles’ problem has always been that he’s so obsessed with Camilla and she’s a snake who only looks out for herself. She leaks like a sieve to Becky English and plays the brothers against each other and against her husband and look where they all are now.

    Congrats to all involved.

  39. meredith says:

And now People Magazine is out with a cover story about how this is so upset with the social media frenzy that surrounded Kate and how he puts Kate first.

    https://people.com/prince-william-upset-social-media-frenzy-surrounding-kate-middleton-former-staffer-exclusive-8644668

How come this article fails to note that he THREW HER UNDER THE BUS for the photoshop fiasco WHILE SHE HAD CANCER?!

  40. Honey says:

So, perhaps I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to this but . . And I could have this wrong. . . if the Invictus Games are a sport for wounded veterans (which they are), with this new appointment, is this a way for William to backdoor his way into the Invictus Games if they were to ever be held in the UK? I’m just asking and I’m wondering.

    • poppedbubble says:

What do you mean “backdoor his way in”? William, nor any of the BRF have ANY claims, none, nada, zero claims, rights, privileges, duties, responsibilities to Invictus. Two completely different and separate entities. The ONLY thing they could do is show up as a representative (i.e. Charles showing up as the “head” lol of the military). You know how the Danish King has no claim to Invictus, but showed up? Same thing with the BRF. Do we think William would dare show up only as a representative and not someone in charge? Not me.

      • Honey says:

I know the IG is Harry@: baby and how those games were created. Let me give you the scenario that I have in mind. The games are over. Accolades are being announced and there sits William or stands William off stage and waiting to make remarks given his new appointments IF the IG were ever held in the UK (like the bid for Birmingham). That’s what I mean when I am saying back door—using a scenario like that.

    • Jais says:

So as long as Harry is involved and showing up for the games, I can’t see William having anything to do with it. If in an alternate reality, he could replace Harry as patron then sure but I just don’t see that happening. Worse case scenario, William somehow influences the military to slowly give less funds to IG competitors. Right now, they’re well-funded, I believe. But the IG were somewhat recently reassigned to a different section of the military? I can’t recall the name. So I could see in the future, William trying to slowly reduce the funding for it. But it’s so beloved and truly does have its champions in the uk that it’s hard to see that happening.

    • Christine says:

Invictus has never been a royal patronage, it’s just Harry’s passion project. I can’t envision a scenario where he would not be involved, but let’s pretend like he ups and decides he doesn’t want to be associated with it any longer, and they want a big name to help with the fundraising They have the entire planet to choose from.

They aren’t going to pick another British royal to be the head of an international organization, it just doesn’t make any sense at all. A famous veteran who is also an athlete would be an obvious tie-in, or someone like Oscar Pistorius, except 100% less murder-y.

  41. LionHeartGal says:

Charles is predictable, petty and pathetic.
Harry is playing chess while these fools are playing checkers.

    • MelodyM says:

Not only are they playing checkers, but deviled egg bumped the board and dumped the whole darn thing in the floor, lol!

  42. Saucy&Sassy says:

I wonder if the Royalists in the UK are comforted by the consistency of the brf?

  43. Lisa Meyrose says:

Some more fake medals for their cos play uniforms!

  44. Beverley says:

The Royal Family is so deeply dysfunctional, they can’t grasp the weight of their actions. To snub their own military and veterans as a way of “ignoring” Harry’s achievements, shows an alarming level of disassociation from reality on their part. That they can’t seem to understand that their influence and luster has faded in the world. They and the royal stenographers can’t wrap their minds around this obvious truth.

It’s time for them to emerge from their medieval darkness into the sunshine of a New Day. Leftovers and Rats: listen up. The British Empire is no more. Stop acting like everything revolves around your silly king.

  45. JFerber says:

Lest anyone forget, Harry was diagnosed with dyslexia later on in life. It was never picked up earlier. That does NOT make him stupid, FFS. Tom Cruise, the bestie of Willbur, also has dyslexia. Tom is an ass, but not because he has dyslexia–but because he’s a cult member and has rejected his darling daughter Suri. Charles is an ass for many reasons, one because he rejected his darling son Harry and his darling grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.

  46. TN Democrat says:

William married a mean girl, art major stalker. He caused multiple international incidents because he attempted to piggyback an indefinite vacation based on her illness and could not handle PR-101. His entire press strategy for the last 6 years has been to scapegoat his brother while actually making himself appear petulant, lazy and obsessive. Is Harry really the brother who should have his intelligence questioned? Really????

  47. Underhill says:

A snub? A sad, stunted little snub that no one can respect. Except of course the royal rota, who are not upright people at all, apparently, but are sad stunted and limited creatures with no moral development. I wonder who hired all of them.

  48. Cassie says:

This family is an absolute disgrace .

So glad the Spencer family turned up in support .

  49. Lila_cheezits says:

I just can’t reconcile this with Harry flying to the UK abruptly with KC’s cancer diagnosis. What really happened then??? Make it make sense.

    • Kingston says:

      @LILA_CHEEZITS

I think I know why the two scenarios seem irreconcilable:

In Scenario #1: after hearing of chucky’s cancer diagnosis, H&M called chucky to express their sadness at the news & said some motivational things. Then seeing an opportunity, chucky asked Harry to visit bcos he (chucky) wanted to talk to H.

As u saw, chucky gave H the monarch-level security treatment and even forbade the horse from being in on that momentous private meeting between him & H.

Chucky did all that BECAUSE! he had a favor to ask H: would he please pretty please take on some royal engagements —— just onaccounta my poor cancer-striken arse, you see, darling boy.

And before H could even wrap his head around what he was hearing, chucky hurriedly spelt out how it could work:
      – H alone could come over, say, for a 3-month stint in the first instance; chucky wd return Frogmore so he could stay there;
      OR
      – If he wished, he could take M wth him while they stayed for the 3 months
(naturally, he didn’t mention Archie & Lili)

So when H saw that he was seriously expecting him to choose one of the options or make another suggestion to be a temporary-with-a-view-to-permanent part-time royal, H said incredulously: old man, it seems that you’re even sicker than everyone thinks you are.
      And then he bounced.

      Scenario #2
So knowing he was gonna visit UK for IG10, H told chucky he wd love to pay him a visit. But chucky, bearing a grudge from Scenario #1, said he “had other priorities,” so H said, too bad, so sad. And then chucky & his horse briefed their friends in the shidtmedia tht H had asked for a meeting & chucky “snubbed” him.

And thats why theres such a wide, irreconcilable difference betwern H’s 2 visits.

But chucky & his cabal in the shidtmedia didnt count on H’s Spencer Family-sized ace up his sleeves.

So now theyre scrambling for a new narrative—or several.

We’ll see what the new narratives are by tomorrow morning.

  50. I am so looking forward to this on Monday.

Will the duke of WFH attend? If he does, will he be able to stand up without swaying under the weight of this enormous task of being given yet more things?

    Will anyone care?

    • Was this the best idea the brain trust had to “snub” Harry? Really?

Let’s force KFC and The Duke of WFH to actually stand in the same room together verifiably for the first time in over 6 months. One of them will give the other one a new sparkly military award to put on his Idi Amin Military ™ Cosplay Outfit

It will certainly be sending a message, I do not think it will be the message they were intending

Meanwhile, the real hero done left the country and is on to actually help people whose outfits aren’t cosplay

  51. Jess says:

Harry comes across as funny and well-spoken in his interviews, so from where I’m sitting, one of two things must be true:
    1. He’s actually smart and quick on his feet.
    2. He’s dumb and everything is scripted for him, but then he is a fantastic actor, because he really sells it and looks very natural delivering the lines and jokes that somebody else wrote.
    Either way, pretty impressive, no?

    • There is a third thing, you are a troll and are presenting logical fallacies as some original opinion when it is obvious you are just parroting existing BM bot soundbytes.

Jesús Caríbe García, I can’t stand it when people spread logical fallacies as truth, or even worse, as some sweet home-baked original thought

  52. Andrea says:

The media calling Harry stupid makes me so angry. He has dyslexia, which was diagnosed late! Huevo and Buttons are living proof that having a college degree has no bearing on actual intelligence. And Harry clearly is intelligent, even if he’s not an intellectual.

    • Iolanthe says:

Harry has a brain, a heart and a soul. Just divest the rest of the gang of their titles and privileges and send them into the real world to watch them gasp and flounder like goldfish out of a bowl . None of them would survive except maybe conniving Camilla and common Kate who had to fend for themselves once upon a time . Maybe Anne too who didnt need people to dress her up and raise her kids . But look at the combined brain power of the rest , including married ins . Mike Tindall? Sophie ?

  53. Liz says:

It was lovely to see Harry out & about and with the Spencer’s too.

William & Charles look increasingly petulant and peevish.

Meghan definitely got the better brother.
