Here is Lindsay Lohan at the Chanel show today, in Paris. What. The. Hell?!? Chanel? First John Galliano, and now Karl Lagerfeld? Does France not have access to The Crackhead Diaries? Oh, by the way, CB asked me to stop calling Lindsay a “crackhead” all the time, something about “she’s probably on opiates anyway” and how CB “worries that Lindsay is going to die soon.” Which I understand, I guess – even though I think Lindsay has reached “cockroach level” in her survival of endless sketchy situations. So from here on out, I’m going to try to keep the “crackhead” stuff to the bare minimum. Cough cough crackhead cough. Excuse me. I just had something in my throat.
Anyway, so Lindsay is at Chanel, and before that, Kenzo, and before that, Galliano. But she didn’t go to Ungaro! That’s because it’s looking more and more like they fired her. Women’s Wear Daily got Lindsay to confirm that she’s no longer Ungaro’s “artistic advisor” but check out how she said it:
Actress Lindsay Lohan confirmed to WWD that she is no longer part of Ungaro’s design team. At Monday afternoon’s Kenzo show, Lohan was asked why she hadn’t been at Ungaro earlier that morning.
She replied: “Because I don’t work for them anymore.” Prompted for more specifics, she noted, “There’s legal things going on; I can’t really discuss it.”
After hiring Lohan last year, former Ungaro CEO and President Mounir Moufarrige told WWD, “Designer-led fashion is likely not to be enough. It’s a slow process going the traditional route.” Moufarrige stepped down last December and declined to comment on Lohan and Ungaro when reached on Monday.

Interesting, huh? Do you think she’s suing Ungaro? I think she’s contemplating it, at the very least. Ungaro should be grateful there are no talking babies in the situation (other than the ones Lindsay is hallucinating). “There’s legal things going on” – I guess it could mean that she’s under threat of a lawsuit, maybe for breach of contract? Or confidentiality, maybe? Here’s another question: Did Lindsay jump or was she pushed? My theory (hope) is that she was pushed out when Ungaro came under new management. And because Lindsay doesn’t have another job, and Opiate Eyes can’t be choosy. However, Lindsay did throw Ungaro’s designer under the bus several months ago, so maybe it’s Lindsay who thought the association was bad. To which I can only say “Bitch, please.” There’s more to this story, I can feel it.
Whenever I see photos of Lindsay scowling nowadays, I think, “My mother was right, she made that face so many times, her face froze that way.”
Maybe they’re suing her for making them a bit of a laughingstock. Of course, they had to know what they were getting themselves into.
Why won’t she just go away? Can we do a ban on Lohan stories like the Paris situation a while back? Maybe if everyone stops giving her the press she so desperately needs she’ll go away.

I receive a lot of fashion magazines each month; and I noticed in the current issues of Lucky, Elle, Maria Claire, Glamour and People Stylewatch there wasn’t one picture or a mention of Lindsay. That really says a lot! She is only mentioned in Tabloid magazines. She really has thrown her career away.
I don’t know why Lindsay is getting all of the blame. I’m sure as “advisor” she just said “I like this”, “I hate that”. Is the designer who did the collection still with Ungaro? Why did they hire Lindsay in the first place?

Her being fired is totally believable, especially since the former CEO and president of Ungaro is now the FORMER CEO and president of Ungaro. As far as how much she actually had to do with the collection, it doesn’t matter: she was probably brought in for the “notoriety factor” which she brought in spades. Unfortunately for them, it wasn’t the kind of notoriety they were looking for.
As for a “Hohan Ban,” I’m torn: I do get sick of giving this crackhead the attention she obviously so craves, but some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth is priceless as far as comic relief. *See article on CB this morning about her suing E-trade* And let us not forget her “crack-tweeting.”

seriously guys, if you actually LOOK at the pictures above instead of just spewing out general Lohan-hate you would see that (besides the opiate eyes) her face actually looks the best that i think it has in a while. her eyes and eyebrows look good, her lips look nice…not like she’s been scewing around with weird injections al the time, her skin/complexion actually looks fairly healthy..she’s not covered in those weird little breakouts she gets when i think she probably goes on coke/drinking binges.
she’s soooooooo easy to pick on at this point i’m just over it. seriously. if she was the girl that lived in the apartment next to you or grew up on your street you’d think she was so hot and gorgeous and prettyand all that crap, but because she was a movie star in her early teens and early twenties, you’re going to hold her to a different standard?? how many kids do you know that go to college (because that’s what you do when you get out of high school in the normal world) and blow through their classes either flunking or getting put on academic probation, party all friggin weekend long…and i’m talking SERIOUS binge drinking and coke and smoking pot is all the total norm on college campuses. not to mention the adderall that they cram up their noses or take all during finals week every semester, or just when they have a lot of homework to due and papers and they’ve spent the rest of their week and weekend going out and partying at their local college bars and frat/sorority and house parties. THEN they get out of college…BARELY…with a degree that they have no idea what they want to do with.they end up moving back home with their parents, after running up enormous credit card bills and debt while partying and shopping away their college years, only to live with their parents for another year or two while they are trying to figure out what to do and how to actually get a real job and everything else. these people aren’t really doing anything that different from the way the Lindsay has/is living her life. granted, i knw it’s a simplification of the issue, but could you imagine if some of these girls that do the crazy partying all through college had cameras following them around while they are half naked dancing on a beer pong table and making out with various people all in one weekend, of VARIOUS sexual orientation. i mean, really. she’s was thrust into the public eye as a child by her money hungry parents, she has said in recent years that she doesn’t like doing movies anymore , that movies are not her true passion and she really likes fashion and music and is looking to pursue things in that arena. do you know how brave you would actually have to be to put your first set of clothing ideas/designs out for the whole world to critisize? i mean, that’s crazy, i couldn’t imagine doing that. i get nervous even showing my close family and friends stuff that i have drawn or produced or whatever.
i don’t know,i just always wonder what people would actually think of her if we lived in a world where there wasn’t this crazy “pack mentality” where everyone turns agains everyone else, and there’s a huge power in numbers about it. you know… if the first two comment on a thread about somebody or something are positive, then most of the other comments will probably be too because it sets the overall TONE of the message board and helps craft peoples own opnions and it makes it known what is acceptable to say and feel and think about a certain person. if the first few comments are mostly negative, or if GOD FORBID, the author of the WHOLE ARTICLE writes it with an icredible tone of negativity and malice and cruelty then it’s going to be assumed that is the way that this blog and these people feel about her and it makes it seem ok and almost normal to write crazy, mean, negative things about people.

well… she was rarely in paris, did very little work on the line, and when the negative reviews came in she threw all the blame on the ACTUAL designer, yet from what little i’ve seen of Estrella ARches’ work, nary a sequin or even a heart in the bunch. Granted I didn’t look her up for very long, just long enough to convince myself that the worst of that “collection” came squarely from Lilo’s little head.
though i can think of one other possibility… remember the online rumors that lindsay stole other people’s designs for her 6126 line? she’s going beyond leggings now, and the pics that were posted here for that rumor sure looked suspicious. maybe ungaro thinks lilo either copied ungaro designs in 6126 OR ungaro thinks lilo brought stolen designs in?
