Caitlin Clark walked out on stage alongside Morgan Wallen at his Indiana concert

Morgan Wallen is a country music artist with crossover pop-country hits. He gets tons of radio play and he’s quite popular among white country-music fans. People outside of that demographic do not f–k with him whatsoever, and many online people use his name as shorthand for racism. That’s because Wallen is a violent alcoholic who drunkenly screams the n-word at his neighbors. He’s also a massive brat – he refused to even stick around Saturday Night Live for the end credits last year, and he posted “get me back to god’s country” as he flew out of New York. The dude f–king sucks, I don’t know how else to describe it. If I was a young, popular celebrity-athlete, I would not want to damage my brand by being seen with Morgan Wallen on stage or in public. Caitlin Clark doesn’t care though. Caitlin is the “great white hope” of the WNBA, with a lot of attention and buzz. After her team lost a big game, Caitlin walked out on stage at Morgan Wallen’s concert.

Caitlin Clark turned a brutal double-duty night into a headline-grabbing moment off the court … linking up with Morgan Wallen during his second Indianapolis show, just hours after a gut-punch loss.

Clark had just finished a tight matchup against the Dallas Wings, where her team came up short by just three points in a game that stayed close down to the final minutes. However, instead of heading straight into a quiet postgame night, she later made her way to Wallen’s sold-out concert stop in Indianapolis.

The “I Got Better” country singer — who was in town for night two of his “Still The Problem Tour” stop — surprised the crowd when Clark walked out alongside him … sending the arena into a frenzy.

The moment instantly shifted from country concert to crossover spectacle … with fans realizing they were watching one of Indiana’s biggest sports stars share the spotlight with one of country music’s biggest names.

Clark, who has quickly become a face of women’s basketball and a major draw in every arena she enters, appeared in good spirits despite the earlier loss … smiling and engaging with the crowd as Wallen welcomed her onstage.

The unexpected appearance capped off a whirlwind Indiana night — including a tight WNBA battle in the afternoon, followed by a surprise stadium cameo in front of thousands just hours later.

Is there a racial and even a racist element to Caitlin Clark? Many have defended her and argued that Caitlin’s “fans” might be racist, but she’s not and it’s not her responsibility to push back on her fans. But, you know, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and walks out on stage with a n-word spouting duck, people might start to realize that Caitlin Clark is totally fine with all of the racist sh-t her “fans” say about Caitlin’s WNBA colleagues.

I remember an incident with him and it seemed to blow over. But yeah, if he’s continued his racist bullshit, then yes, he is a racist. Caitlin Clark is very stupid to associate with him, both for professional and personal reasons. Especially in a primarily Black sport, as a white person, her association is or should be a career killer. But maybe she’s a Maga, highly unfortunate, but maybe she thinks she can skate. Maybe she can. But she’s oblivious to being a true team player and a role model of how to think of and treat others. Bad for her, for basketball and yes, bad for our country. Very disappointing.

  2. Chica says:

She’s MAGA or adjacent and has been since Iowa days. Her boyfriend used to post and like MAGA stuff.. Nobody is surprised by this. WW showed themselves on November 7..

  3. Brassy Rebel says:

After this, she’s definitely not beating the allegations. I don’t follow either the WNBA or country music. But I know who both Caitlin Clark and Morgan Wallen are. And this incident got so much attention on social media that it made its way into my feed. That means she may have damaged her reputation beyond repair. It won’t matter in Indiana, but it will haunt her on the road.

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That’s the only acceptable response to any of this. He’s trash, a spoiled whiny racist man baby. He also threw bar chairs off a rooftop bar in Nashville when he was throwing some fit. People who like him are on my trash list. He’s not even good artistically, from the few songs I’ve heard.

I don’t follow the WNBA, but I know Paige (spelling?) Bu(I have no idea how to spell out even guess at her last name) a blonde girl has said some really great things centering the black women of the WNBA. I didn’t know any of this about Clark, but I’ll remember that too.

Paige Buekers knows what’s up. A recent rookie of the year, who was drafted first overall in her class and has won a national championship at UConn.

  5. YankeeDoodles says:

I remember the weird mini-controversy that was more like a hissy fit over a game she played against a team which featured another young lady nicknamed “Bayou Barbie” who covered her face by way of avoiding a direct eyeline encounter with Clark and it seemed to me inoffensive, if revealing, of the impact Clark has on other players, non-white players especially. That they will avoid contact with her. But what really solidified my sense that something was off, with Clark, was the way her fans reacted to this other player, with the same hysterical, amped-up, in-your-face rage they have for Meghan, every time she swerves a run-in with Kate, who’s clearly spoiling for a fight. I mean. I see parallels.

    • Truthiness says:

The taunt used was a “you can’t see me” move from John Cena. It’s like bragging after a score that “I’m too fast for you to see what I’m doing.” Basketball players always trashtalk.

  6. Mightymolly says:

The cognitive dissonance of someone like Caitlin Clark being MAGA is staggering. I guess there’s a real sickness in some white women. A Serena Joy complex that they’ll be at the top and given the privileges of men so eff the rights of other women.

  7. Amy Bee says:

Yeah, I’m not surprised by this at all.

  8. Gabby says:

It was only a matter of time, wasn’t it?

Wallen also got in a huff about an ex and threw furniture off the roof of a restaurant bar and could have killed someone. But then again, this is the identity Nashville has chosen to glorify. What a national embarrassment.

  9. Tate says:

She has always rubbed me the wrong way. I tried to buy into the idea that she isn’t responsible for her fans behavior but now that is out the window

Watched the Wings vs Fever game. The way the announcers were gushing about her you would think there were no other talented players on the court

  10. Lianne says:

She insinuated in 24 that she was voting for Kamala so this is disappointing.

    • BeanieBean says:

Young and dumb? Thinks MAGA will make an exception for her? Whatever it is, this is so disappointing.
