The Middletons were front & center for Kate’s ‘Together at Christmas’ concert

Here are more photos of the arrivals and departures from Keen Christmas Jazz Hands: The Concert. Incidentally, we should probably talk about the fact that the real name for Kate’s big Christmas special was Together at Christmas. Together! The Hubb Community Kitchen cookbook, which was pulled together by Meghan, was called Together: Our Community Cookbook. Copykeening all day long, obsessively. Perhaps Kate should use Charles’s credit card and buy herself a new personality as opposed to yet another button-slathered pussybowed coatdress.

As I said in the previous post, the Middletons were there and accounted for, not in the front row but in the second row, just behind Queen Keen. Pippa’s husband, Terribly Moderately Wealthy James Matthews, did not attend. James Middleton and his wife Alizee did attend and she wore a funky pantsuit. Carole and Pippa both looked like the cat that got the cream. There definitely seems to be a shift in how the Middletons are presenting themselves these days. They also attended the Royal Variety show last month and were placed very close to William and Kate. Part of me wonders if the Middletons think that Kate is going to become the Princess of Wales any day now. Of course the bigger prize is Queen Consort, but PoW is such a powerful title. It’s always bugged me that Kate’s embiggening brand is “future Queen” and not “future Princess of Wales.”

I’m also including photos of Eugenie, Beatrice and Edo, and the Countess of Wessex. I definitely feel like Kate is going to copykeen Eugenie soon – look at that ensemble! A cape AND buttons? Sophie looks like she wandered into the Abbey wearing a chenille robe.

Bea and Eug look fantastic but I really love the suit on James Middleton’s wife. Can’t imagine she ever would, but I wish Keen Buttons would copy that look.

    • nettie says:

Yes both Beatrice and Eug look great. I love the suit on Jame’s wife as well!

    • Jan90067 says:

It’s a night time, dressy event; while I like the suit, those scuffy boots ruin it. Dressier shoes would’ve elevated the casualness of it.

Sophie in a mismatching corduroy coat???? Why not a cream coat? She also looks like she left her bra at home. None of the RF women have good foundation garments lol

I have nothing nice to say about Zara and Mike; I always just want to smack the smug off of their faces.

Eugenie for the win. Bea a close 2nd.

      • Lemons says:

Yeah, the boots did nothing for me with the suit. I also wish she had gone with a burgundy turtleneck instead of that white top.

But Sophie is definitely worst-dressed. Just awful.

      • equality says:

Sophie usually looks more pulled together so I’m curious. Was it a last minute invite (even more so than everyone else) or bad attitude about being made to attend to make K look good?

      • Nic919 says:

Sophie actually had an engagement earlier in the day so she likely didn’t have all day to primp like Katy keen. I think if she had a better coat this outfit would work. More of a trench type fabric would have made the ensemble better.

      • Lyds says:

@Jan Why not a cream coat?? Because that would ruin her horrendous theme dressing! It’s red, green and white, basically the Grinch’s pajamas. I never thought someone else would out-theme our Duchess of Dressing-by-the-Colors, but Sofiesta is living up to her name and coming for the Keen Theme throne!

      • BothSidesNow says:

@ Jan90067, I agree on the boots, they look very well worn and she could have switched into a lovely pair of burgundy or tan suede pumps!! If she stuck to that top, a lovely burgundy pump for a pop of color.

As for Sophie, my god, not an ounce of effort put in!!!! She does look like she is wearing a robe!! Not one ounce of effort or care as to how she looked!

As for Bea, I think she looks fabulous!!! I am adoring her caplet with the boots and stockings!! The color is perfection along with the fitting!! Eugenie looks good here too!! Gorgeous camel coat!!

Beatrice and Eugenie were certainly the best dressed of the women!! Poor Bea is now going to be copied by Mumbles McButtons now!!

      • BeanieBean says:

Yeah, but Alizee’s feet were warm, I bet her female compatriots were jealous. Plus, no chance of twisting an ankle on those cobblestones!

      • Fanciful says:

They are the worst for bras! I am a bra freak as I am large busted, and droopy, saggy boobs are so awful. People think a well-fitting bra is uncomfortable, and it’s the opposite. Sofiesta normally looks good: she has an amazing and hugely expensive wardrobe including her own wardrobe curator, so she’s not lacking clothes or advice. She wear 100% designer. So this is just a terrible look on her. She was frumpy years ago and had a huge makeover. Since then, she’s been consistently pretty good. She dresses very expensively but not showy, not above her position, but very good.

    • Mac says:

Beatrice and Pippa appear to be wearing the same coat in different colors. Eugenie looks like an extra in The Nutcracker.

    • Lady D says:

I think her pantsuit is hideous. As in truly ugly and I am surprised at the amount of people that loved it on the Kate post and here. I honestly don’t understand what makes it so appealing to so many of you. I also find it really casual for a Christmas concert. What am I missing?

      • Kristin says:

Thank goodness, I thought it was just me lol! I’m sorry but I think that pantsuit is butt ugly and her styling of it is even worse. It would look a million times better with a dark top and dressier shoes.

      • Lyds says:

I don’t think it’s hideous but it’s definitely a daytime look. Would be an amazing outfit for a coffee meeting. I like that she’s being Uber French and casual with her hair/not all curled and dolled up.

      • Becks1 says:

Is it possible that Alizee came from work? This was at 5 pm on a Wednesday, and doesn’t she work in finance? Maybe she didn’t want to take off earlier so she could change or maybe she didn’t care enough about her SIL’s concert to change, lol.

      • Malificent says:

That pantsuit makes her look like the Ghost of Christmas 1974 come back to haunt us. Some retro looks just need to stay in the past.

      • Fanciful says:

I was excited to see her out fit with all the comments but I am not a fan either. It’s fine, but not exciting. and the boots! Better boots for sure. She is not showing up Kate.

      • lulu brown says:

Thank you, she was dressed as if she was going out to dinner at Nandos with those scuffed-up boots and out-of-date pants suit vs. going to a televised Christmas event. I thought they all looked crazy except The big eye sister Beatrice whatever her name is. Kate looked ridiculous, and they were going on about how good she looked. I’m like what? The dress fit, the hair, the color on kate looked terrible to me.

    • Esmerelda says:

Love Bea’s hairband, little red bag, and classic coat. And her hair, I have serious hair envy for Bea’s gorgeous locks. The press makes a whole song and dance over Kate’s hair, but they should focus more on #hairgoals!Bea, IMHO.
I loathe French Middleton’s suit, it’s so try hard, look at me I’m the quirky French married in. Sorry.
Pippa looks ok, very basic but harmless.
Carole looks so smug, it’s cringeworthy.
Keen looks keen and slightly manic as usual, will she ever be able to look relaxed at a public event? She always gives me this vibe, a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown (to misquote Almodovar).

      • Kelsey says:

I agree- Beatrice has always had the best hair to me. I know funerals aren’t exactly supposed to be fashunz times but her hair at Prince Phillip’s funeral was ultimate goals.

I think Beatrice and Eugenie’s looks are my faves, although I don’t get the British royal women’s obsession with those headbands. They just don’t do it for me (but it does work here imo- doesn’t take away from the look like in other instances)

    • BeanieBean says:

Agreed! When they get it right, they both can look very stylish. When they get it wrong, yikes! No matter what, though, I prefer their respective styles to Kate & Pippa’s any day of the week.

      • Courtney B says:

I agree. They have a lot of misses but they at least try different things. Most of their problems come from not dressing for their figures imo.

    • The Recluse says:

I really like B’s coat? dress. That color is great.

  2. Harla says:

I love Alize’s outfit! Such a huge improvement over what K, C and P are wearing. I hope that A keeps her unique sense of style and isn’t pressured into dressing like a Stepford wife.

  3. Amy Bee says:

“Incidentally, we should probably talk about the fact that the real name for Kate’s big Christmas special was Together at Christmas. Together! The Hubb Community Kitchen cookbook, which was pulled together by Meghan, was called Together: Our Community Cookbook.”

LOL, I didn’t catch this until now. Kate not only has a Meghan lookbook, she had a Meghan playbook as well.

    • Rebecca says:

Kind of a lackluster name for a Christmas special. . .
I would have vetoed that idea, myself. 🤷‍♀️

    • Agreatreckoning says:

Yea, the specials name isn’t a concidence. There’s copykeening going on. When the preannouncement for the announcement came out 5 days after Adele’s ITV’s Audience with…(which was brought back after 10 years I believe) at the London Palladium and fire fighters, NHS frontline workers, well known celebrities and survivors of Grenfell Tower all received special invitations, it looked a little too convenient-especially after the 1st part of the BBC doc aired. Then reading in the other post about ‘recently bereaved or those without their own homes’.

I believe there are some Grenfell survivors still w/o their own homes.

Granted, the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t have copyright on the title word of ‘Toghether’ like she does on a certain letter, but come on. The special would be more notable/or unique to Kate, Christmas CEO, if they called it Royal Carols: A Christmas Gathering or Royal Carols: Gathering at Christmas. Something different at least. Was “poor Jason” not invited? After all, he’s been the greatest frontline worker for the Cambridges the past 4 plus years.

I’m sure it was a nice experience for those that wanted to be there and the Queen is completed thrilled by them overshadowing her annual Christmas message.

  4. Tana says:

I love Alizee and Eugenie’s looks! I also love that Alizee didn’t wear heels.

  5. Sofia says:

Honestly they all look nice, both sartorially and in looks. Pippa’s coat is a nice colour of green IMO and same with Carole (in terms of coat and colour). Alize’s style is not my own personal taste but she does look good.

And as for them being here, I’ll just copy my comment from the last post: I guess they’re just going to show up every time Kate does something “big” lol. I wonder if they’re there because they want to show people that they exist and they’re here to stay. I get wanting moral support but Kate’s hosting a charity concert. She’s not going into war or giving a speech at the UN about domestic violence. Plus she’s been at this for 10.5 years now so it’s not like she’s a newly married Duchess and this is her first major event. Maybe they all just wanted a nice night out away from home/the kids.

    • Nic919 says:

I think had the Middletons attended this event only it would be less tacky. Here it was to support something kate “worked on” herself. Showing up to the royal variety performance was just them fame whoring because the performance has been going on for years and kate and William just happened to be attending this year. It’s not even something they do every year.

I suspect that the Middletons are showing a wall of support because Kate and William clearly don’t get along and are separated. If William and kate were a joint team then Kate wouldn’t need her parents and siblings for support. Showing up to every event she does just seems pathetic otherwise.

      • Becks1 says:

I agree Nic. This event by itself with the Middletons – not that weird, especially with other, non-working royals like Zara and B&E there. But this coupled with their appearance at the royal variety show, where W&K were there to work, was weird. Are we going to see them at the BAFTAs? At the next Earthshot? At every gala Kate attends from hereonout? this at least is something that Kate is supposedly hosting and is “her” event (lol) and is more of a family event overall. But having her whole family at two big events in a row definitely gives off the vibe that she “needs” her family there, and then of course the next question is, why?

    • Marty says:

I think having the Mids there plus the cousins is a passive aggressive move to try and show up Harry and Meghan, “look at us all surrounded by family”. Pity for them most people can see through the charade.

    • Mrs.Krabapple says:

I think Kate needed the Middletons there to make it look less obvious that nobody cares what Kate does. Were any of the important people there? The queen? Prince Charles? Camilla? Princess Anne? Harry and Meghan? Nope, Kate and William get Anne’s daughter and son-in-law, pedo Andrew’s kids, and Sophie. Lol. So they pad the ranks with royal hangers-on like the Middletons, to make it appear to be a more important event than it is, hoping the tabloids will cover it as a major “thing.”

As a side note, I wonder if there is strife behind the scenes with William and Charles jockeying for power, and William is lining up his supporters/sycophants?

  6. Lexistential says:

I LOVE Alizee’s suit! She’s the one with fun and interesting style in that whole bunch.

I have to admit, Carole looks good. Beatrice is so happy she lights up her photos (and her coat and shoe combo is gorgeous). But WTF Sophie? Like that seems like a “F, fine, I guess I’ll go” outfit.

  7. Nikki says:

Not sure why all the disapproval of Kate keeping her family close. If she kept her distance, people would say she was trying to hide her middle class roots. It’s the one thing I LIKE about her.

    • Sofia says:

She (along with the family) do try and hide their middle class roots. They’ve spent years trying to be part of the aristocracy and be accepted as “one of them”.

And keeping your family close is not a “middle class” thing. There are aristo and “regular” rich families who are close with each other.

    • Amy Bee says:

@Nikki: I see nothing wrong with keeping her family close, but when Meghan was doing the same with her mother, she was attacked for it. The Royalists and Royal rota wanted Doria out of the picture. Furthermore, it’s obvious that her family participated in the smear campaign against Meghan. They started theirs even earlier than the Windsors when they planted stories in the press about Meghan being banned from Pippa’s wedding and her uncle can’t shut up about Meghan and Harry. The Middletons are not innocent bystanders.

      • Margaret says:

        @AMY BEE

You nailed it, plus I believe they are sending a message of their closeness to the throne. They might be making their move to soon.

    • GuestWho says:

For me, it’s because she uses her family (mother) as weapons against Meghan. Nice to be close – lets not drive someone else to suicide to make us look better.

They are the Woodvilles of the 21st century.

      • Nic919 says:

Her mum and uncle giving interviews against Meghan is disgusting. Kate needs to be criticized hard for that. It also shows how jealous she is of Meghan that she lets her family do that.

    • Andrew's Nemesis says:

Just remember what happened to the Woodvilles…

    • Nic919 says:

Kate changed her accent from the one the rest of her family uses so let’s not pretend she is proud of her commoner roots. She clearly isn’t. She’s tried to act like an aristo from day one and the Middletons with their signet rings aren’t exactly hiding their social climbing vibes either. She also dresses her kids in old timey wear just like we are told aristo kids do. She also has multiple Nannies despite not holding down an actual job. This is not someone who does anything middle class. Kate is also ok with elevating George over her other children because he is the heir. Diana, actual aristo, fought hard to stop that from happening but kate remains silent. The David Attenborough scenario when only George got a gift told us all we need to know about how middle class kate is in how she raises her kids. She isn’t.

And the most obvious reason why the Middletons are being critiqued because the outrage that happened when Doria showed up once the the unveiling of the cookbook was insane and the utter hypocrisy of this family showing up to every fancy event they can get invited to without a peep from the media just confirms the huge disparity in treatment.

We don’t see Sophie’s relatives show up this often to her engagements like this. Or Camilla.

      • Pinkosaurus says:

To be fair, if Sophie’s family showed up, would anyone take pictures? They could be flying under the radar because the press barely cares about Edward or Sophie themselves.

      • Nic919 says:

No one would take a picture because Sophie’s dad and relatives didn’t constantly seek out the media attention like Carole, Pippa and James have done. Sophie’s dad isn’t always on the phone with Paul Dacre, editor of the DM.

We know them because they have been like Kardashian’s from early on. So again not the actions of regular middle class people who want to live the quiet life.

  8. Couch potato says:

Absolutely love Eug’s look, and Bea’s aren’t far behind. Bea’s coat relly highlights her beautiful hourglass figure. Looking at their faces, they both seem to be in a good place.

  9. Becks1 says:

Beatrice and Eugenie both look possibly the best I have ever seen them. Bea is glowing (that could be the camera flash too lol) and that coat fits her beautifully, her hair looks great, I even love the headband. And Eugenie looks fun and festive in the cape-coat and boots.

Alizee also looks great, love the pantsuit, she’s definitely going to up the style factor at these events, lol.

I wonder who was invited first – the Middletons or the royals. I speculated in the other post that my guess is the Middletons, and then someone said to Kate “yeah you have to invite Windsors if you want to invite Middletons.”

If they are circling bc they think Kate is close to being Duchess of Cornwall* and they’re waiting for that, that’s just gross, but I guess that’s how its done in royal families.

*I think its funny bc IMO the title “duchess of cornwall” is so connected to Camilla now that I’m sure Kate doesn’t want it, lol, but I have a feeling Charles is going to hold off on the Prince of Wales title for William for a bit.

    • GuestWho says:

The Prince of Wales is probably the only thing Charles has to hold over William – I think he’ll wait too.

    • ML says:

@Becks1, When Charles makes William Prince of Wales, he will create the first Princess of Wales since Diana. I’m sure that Kate has no issue with that, but Charles might?

      *corrected mistake

      • Becks1 says:

No – camilla is the princess of wales. I do think that might be part of it though – if Charles is salty that Camilla has to go by Duchess of Cornwall, he might hold off on the PoW title if he doesn’t think Kate should get something that Camilla wasn’t able to use even though it was hers.

      • Emma says:

Technically, Camilla has that title but if you notice, she does not ever use it, for the obvious reasons.

    • equality says:

Considering the controversy when PC became Prince of Wales, the polite thing toward the Welsh might be to not use the title again and retire it. If he does confer it to PW, I hope there are protests again.

    • Lizzie Bathory says:

Agreed. Bea looks radiant & Edo looks impeccable, as always. Really nice photo of the two of them. Eugenie looks great, too. I think the York girls like to play with fashion in a way that I admire but they don’t always land on things that will photograph well even if those things might look lovely in person.

  10. What says:

Copykate will only start copying James wife if she feels the headlines start to give her to much coverage over her. She dresses matronly and is it just me seeing all the Middleton ladies. They’re so plainlooking and just nothing nothing. Is that why she’s trying so hard for Megan. Even the headlines of Meghan in the red dress even though she’s still losing weight from Lili was sexy, beautiful, glamorous. Here Kate’s are dazzled, radiant but an overall blah. Kates family is all she has now. You’ll have kiss up Sophie and tindalls. Beatrice will be there to get more screentime. I think only Eugenie will be on the fence

  11. Laura-Lee MacDonald says:

Okay, I tried to look up why Princess of Wales I’ve Duchess of Cornwall, etc are so important, but I can only find historical items that hardly seem relevant in the current political set up, and statements about rankings being important because they just are. There are some super smart Royal-stuff people here, and if any of you can even steer me towards WHERE to look this up, I’d appreciate it. My curiosity is overruling my “don’t give a sh*t” stance. Lol!

    • Becks1 says:

Hmm, I’m not sure what you’re asking?

The Duke of Cornwall is the heir apparent to the throne, its automatic. When Charles was born he was not the duke of cornwall (nor was his mother the duchess of cornwall since she was always the heir presumptive), but as soon as Elizabeth became Queen (and charles became heir apparent) he became Duke of Cornwall. The Duchy of Cornwall has money and an income attached to it.

Prince of Wales is a title, I don’t “think” there is any money attached to it – Charles was named PoW in 58 and then officially invested as PoW in…..1968, maybe? When he was 20? somewhere around there. Typically the title is granted to the heir to the throne, but does not have to be (i.e. William does not need to be Prince of Wales in order to be king, it affects nothing.)

Princess of Wales is considered more prestigious I guess, because it is a princess title and not a duchess, and of course now the title of Princess of Wales is so associated with Diana that you have all *that” baggage, good and bad, with it.

ETA and to clarify, Camilla IS the princess of wales, she just goes by Duchess of Cornwall bc of Diana.

      • Laura-Lee MacDonald says:

Thanks for this! I guess to clarify my question: why do the titles matter? Yes, having money and lands I assumed went with them, but is there a pecking order? And with that, you did provide me with an answer: yes, ie Camilla NOT being the ‘new’ Princess of Wales. Thank you!

      • Nic919 says:

It will be interesting to see the reaction because Charles made an effort to learn Welsh prior to being invested and he attended school in Wales. William has done nothing in this regard.

      • Mrs.Krabapple says:

The titles Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay are granted to the heir apparent, so when Charles becomes king, William will automatically be given those titles. The “Prince of Wales” title has traditionally been given to the heir apparent, but it doesn’t have to be. When Charles becomes king, this title will merge with the crown, and it will be up to Charles to grant it, or not, to William or someone else.

As far as hierarchy, the titles themselves don’t matter. The precedence among royals is the sovereign first, followed by the sovereign’s children by age (under the old system, the male children were by age, and then the female children were ranked by age after that). Then the sovereign’s grandchildren, following the order of the sovereign’s kids. Then it moves to the sovereign’s brothers, then uncles, nephews, and cousins. The females are ranked similarly (sisters, aunts, nieces, cousins) but according to primogeniture. So for example, the wife of a sovereign’s uncle (the sovereign’s aunt by marriage) ranks above the sovereign’s aunt by blood — because the uncle ranks above his sister, the uncle’s wife is ranked above his sister as well.

Supposedly, Elizabeth didn’t like the idea of Camilla outranking Anne (because Charles outranks Anne), so she makes Camilla curtsey to Anne in private. I don’t know if that is true, but technically, Camilla is the highest female after the queen, because of Charles. And that does not depend on any title such as Princess of Wales.

Within the peerages, there is also a hierarchy by type of title. Dukes are at the top, followed by marquesses, followed by earls, followed by viscounts, followed by barons (so for example, holding the title of marquess means outranking an earl). Within each group (for example among a group of dukes) the precedence is generally by (1) England, Scotland, Great Britain, Ireland, and then those after 1801; and among those subgroups, rank is generally by age of the title (older titles take precedence).

However, it gets tricky because there are both royal peers, and non-royal peers. For example, the Duke of Gloucester and Duke of Kent are “royal” Dukes (the men holding the titles are “HRH” princes), but the Duke of Norfolk and the Duke of Westminster are not royal. So Prince Harry would out-rank the Duke of Norfolk, despite the age of their respective titles, because of Harry’s royal status.

It’s all very complicated. But the “long story short” or “tldr” version is that the title “Prince of Wales” means nothing to Charles’ place in the order of precedence, and it won’t matter to William either.

      • BeanieBean says:

Mrs K: thanks for this! I really learned something here today.

      • booboocita says:

        @MrsKrabapple — Thanks! Most informative!

I have an annotated copy of Jane Austen’s “Persuasion.” The notes say that the Dowager Viscountess Dalrymple, over whom Sir Walter Eliot and his elder daughter Elizabeth make such fools of themselves (“Our cousins, the Dalrymples”), are Irish nobility, not English. And Lady Dalrymple is the Dowager Viscountess, meaning there’s a Viscount Dalrymple somewhere whose wife outranks Lady Dalrymple. So Sir Walter and Elizabeth are fawning over very small beer indeed.

      • Mrs.Krabapple says:

@booboocita — yes, I forgot to mention about dowagers! As you said, the current lady of the house (current duchess, current viscountess, etc.) will out-rank their dowager mother-in-law or dowager grandmother-in-law. The more recent titleholder takes precedence (so dowager mother-in-law outranks dowager grandmother-in-law). It’s all very silly, to an American. But interesting.

  12. Cessily says:

The red was expected and highly predicted.. the York Sisters look great, I love the short cape coat. As for photos of the Middletons they do seem to be gloating and salivating over some inside joke.. with this family who knows what they are scheming.

  13. S808 says:

E and B look great! Is Edo dressing his wife? Her style has improved since they married.

    • CuriousCole says:

That’s an interesting theory as Edo has always been a smart dresser. I agree that both sisters are glowing and their hair looks amazing. Getting chic postnatal looks together is a challenge and I think they did really well.

    • Fanciful says:

I think that’s a good theory too. Bea has no natural style and she’s looking better. Though for me headbands ugh. I know they’re kinda back but I still have nightmares from the early 80s

    • Agreatreckoning says:

E & B do look great. Bea’s hair is excellent. My snarky self wants to believe that Bea intentionally ignored the memo to wear a dark color (though Sophie looked liked a tri colored peppermint stick). I’d like to think Bea ignored something and did her own thing-looking great-unlike the Cambridge wedding fascinator, though I’m pretty sure that fascinator & Pippa’s bum were bigger & more memorable headlines than the wedding or the bride’s dress.

  14. TIFFANY says:

Alizee looks great. I really like that suit.

She has a style that really just works.

  15. Pam says:

It looks to me, like all of the Middletons love buttons save Michael Middleton

  16. kelleybelle says:

Carole is wearing Kate’s earrings …

    • BeanieBean says:

I had to scroll up. By golly, she is! Those Mappin (sp?) & Webb earrings, which I think having a matching necklace. Huh.

  17. smee says:

    “button-slathered pussybowed coatdress” 😂😂😂

  18. Catherine says:

It will be interesting to see how long Charles makes William wait for investiture. The fact of the matter is both Wales titles are so closely identified with Charles and Diana that I don’t think it will actually benefit William and Kate. The fact is William can’t compete with the actual work that Charles has put in and Kate can’t compete with Diana’s work or her natural charm.

Princess Eugenie looked fabulous. I love the color and cut of her cape and her entire ensemble. I actually like Pippa’s collarless coat too. Still do not like Keen’s coat at all.

I just don’t understand how you can have so much given to you and do so little with it. Why can’t she come up with idea’s of her own? Why is she so lazy and selfish? It really is so disgusting.

  20. Digital Unicorn says:

The Middletons, esp Carol(e) and Pippa looked smug AF at the concert – those 2 do love to preen for the paps at every opportunity. I wonder if they will, as usual, mug en masse for the boxing day RF pap stroll or if they will be allowed up to the big house this year?!?!

  21. Basi says:

I’m no fan of CarolE or Pippa but the comments on them looking smug…this is how they always look in photos, it’s just been awhile since we have seen them.
CarolE’s coat looks too long imho (…i recognize the irony in this comment…i live in a US city that’s far from glamorous (not close to New York, our London ish city) and writing this from home (w/ a sick child) in sweats. )

    • Becks1 says:

LOL I still have my robe on but I feel like I’m winning at life bc I have brushed my teeth so far this AM, so let me criticize these designer coats some more 🤣🤣

  22. equality says:

Supposedly, B&E get paid by the Queen, at least wardrobe-wise, for attending events. I wonder if they were bribed or asked by QE to attend this. Or is it attempts to deflect from Andrew stories?

  23. aquarius64 says:

This family event is a joke. It’s being pushed by the media, hoping to get eyeballs on this program. It’s sad because the Sussex’s do not have to be thirsty to get press.

  24. Plums says:

    wtf is Sophie wearing?

    Eugenie looks absolutely fantastic.

Interesting that there were no kids at this thing. I guess the tone was a bit more staid and solemn than family friendly.

  25. TheOriginalMia says:

The York sisters looked really good. Especially Bea. Sophie looked bland. Not sure what look she was going for. It didn’t work. At all.

Ma Midds and Pippa looked smug. Guessing they missed the adjacent spotlight that comes from being the FFQ’s relatives.

  26. dido says:

That pisses me off so much about the “Together.” Especially because Meghan really was bringing together a community that was incredibly underserved and badly suffering. Who did Kate bring together? Sure, she says it’s for “unsung heroes” but it’s really a photoshoot for her, the rest of the lazy taxpayer-funded royals and her 1% family.

Meghan really did more in two years than Kate’s ever done in a decade. Is there an original thought that ever passes through this woman’s head?

  27. Over it says:

I think Eugine looks wonderful. I also think that her and her sister attended this event not because of princess buttons but because they are friends with Eli Goulding.
    I

  28. MJM says:

I’m starting to think that copykeening things like putting Together in the title isn’t about copying but something more sinister. It screams white supremacist power move to me as if she’s trying to drown out (erase) Meghan completely by stealing her ideas and dressing like her. It makes me very uncomfortable tbh.

    • blue36 says:

      I agree

    • Lili says:

Have no fear, M &H will pop up unexpectedly with something else that blows these guys out of the water. The Keens are always playing catch up. it is quite errie how they are SWF Meghan, and its a shame they have no original thought of their own.

      • MJM says:

As much as I loathe Kate, and I do, I don’t underestimate her power as a very privileged white woman. Look how much harm she caused Meghan in 3 years.

      • RoyalAssassin says:

@MJM, perhaps: but look how much more powerful Meghan now is, and how she can, with the slightest movement of her pinky finger, rock the entire RF. I’m waiting for the photo of Lilibet’s little toe that will likely be released during some huge RF Xmas event, and which will knock these asshats off the wall.

  29. Red Weather Tiger says:

I love Bea and Eug’s looks. Pippa looks nice in the same coat as Bea, but Pip looks exhausted and old. She has two little kids, but wow…she looks worn out. I don’t remember CarolE’s face being so very round…and Dad Michael always looks like he has no idea where he is or what’s going on. Not in a pathological way, but in an “I’ll just do whatever CarolE says and stay out of trouble” kind of way.

I am the only one in the world who does not like Alizee’s pant suit.

And Sophie’s look makes a statement: “I didn’t want to come, so I will look like a complete mess to draw attention away from Duchess Nosebleed.”

    • kelleybelle says:

No, you’re not. I think it’s hideous actually and looks left over from the 1960s.

    • CuriousCole says:

      You’re not alone, I don’t like Alizee’s look whatsoever.

Michael is giving off weird vibes too, I’d be interested to know what he really thinks of everything and everyone.

    • swirlmamad says:

I said in the other post that Mike Middleton always seems to keep his head down and is basically the epitome of “keep calm and carry on”. He’s still crap because he condones his wife and daughter’s awful behavior, but he is seriously the Mr. Bennett to Carole’s Mrs. Bennett.

  30. Anne says:

I think Beatrice and Eugenie look amazing! Sophie looks awful and much older. The midds are moochers and I still don’t understand why they didn’t wear masks. Pippa is not aging well at all. Carole looks like the cat that swallowed the canary. I don’t like the pantsuit but it is different. How long did the entire event last? And last but not least, please make Kate keep her hands off her hair!! It looks so childish the way she keeps flipping it.

  31. Züri says:

Another case of KM copykeening MM, I have third party embarrassment for how transparent (dumb, and pathetic) she is.

I was very surprised at how many members of the RF showed up. No surprised that the still-social-climbing Middletons appeared.

  32. Zut Alors says:

Ma Middletown bears a strong resemblance to Elizabeth’s ma on Poldark. Especially the smug smiles.

  33. Over it says:

Is buttons and Carole getting a two for one Botox special?

    • Fanciful says:

CarolE’s had a LOT more than botox. When you look at pics of her from the dating years, even back then, relatively young, her face was falling down as she was a smoker. She used to look incredibly haggard. She’s clearly had lifts done in the meantime and the botox and fillers. But lifts 100%

  34. Little Red says:

Love Eugenie’s dark green caped coat. I looked it up and it looks like both she and Beatrice have worn this coat before.

Sophie looks like she just rolled out of bed, threw on some random things, forgetting the bra, and showed up. I like her shoes though.

  35. February pisces says:

I’m about to say summat nice about Pippa middleton so here goes…. I think she looks very nice here. I like her coat especially the colour and because she looks simple and understated she actually looks better for it. Pippa’s simple look looks better than Kate’s “look at me red” because kate is obviously trying so hard to be noticed. Kate has been trying too hard lately to be centre of attention like the gold sequin bond dress or all the jewellery she wore to Philips funeral.

I also love eugenie’s coat and think Beatrice looks great for just having had a baby.

    • Alexandria says:

I think Pippa looks nicer than Kate here. And her posture seems better. I can see her as FFQ compared to Kate, oh dear. She has a nice smile too.

So in summary I think it’s a tie between Pippa and Bea. The coat fits both of them. I would like more fashion from Bea and Edo, they look more interesting as a couple now, I’m shook!

As for Alizee, that is not for me but at least it is an interesting outfit. So I wouldn’t mind seeing more fashion from her!

Hope the dumb tabloids know who to cover now. Sophie should really spring for a stylist.

  36. Ameerah says:

Beatrice, Eugenie and James’ wife all look great. And Kate wore yet another pussybow. Riveting.

  37. Maggie says:

Why is no one commenting on those terrible wood chairs!!?!??!?

    • L4Frimaire says:

Why is no one commenting on how completely lacking in style each and every one of these people are. Not one cohesive, pulled together look. Loud suits, cheap boots, and lank hair.

    • BeanieBean says:

I did on the other post! 😉

    • Likeyoucare says:

      @MAGGIE
What do you expect from khate program?
She never plan anything in her whole live.
Her staff doesnt have any experience doing it either.
Meghan has to ask outside of the palace staff for her greenfield cook book and smartwork.

  38. Saucy&Sassy says:

I agree with everyone that B & E both look amazing here. I also noted that Bea’s coat seems to have a shimmer or shine to it? I look at that picture, and I have to break it to Kant, but Bea definitely stands out and it’s not because she’s all red. I think Bea wins the best dresser of the event.

    • Alexandria says:

She really does, she is glowing! I mean yeah could be camera flashes but Edo seems to help her style!

  39. L4Frimaire says:

Sigh, they tried, they really did, lol.

  40. Julia K says:

Love Alizee in that suit. It looks appropriately comfortable if one is experiencing a newly expanding waistline. Married for exactly 3 months now so maybe an announcement soon?

  41. Misskitten says:

Beatrice has a LOT of colors going on, and while thats not necessarily good or bad, her shoes look like she should be wearing them with some velvet slip dress and a choker and that it should be 1996. Although her hair looks GORGEOUS. I’m a die hard brunette but I will admit to occasional, albeit severe red-hair envy.

    • Fanciful says:

that’s what I thought. i like the coat and the bag but the shoes are a huge fail. Not sure why she didn’t just wear nice boots or something. depends what’s under the coat I guess. Too many colours and nothing sorta matching.

  42. Tessa says:

Michael Middleton was the only one in the group wearing a mask.

  43. Agreatreckoning says:

Though some might criticize the Cambridge’s if they did it (I won’t), providing links to charities/patronages to donate to directly-not through their *cough* Royal Foundation, during this season of giving, would be good. It would look more charitable than PR.

We know that’s what the Sussexes do and they mean it when they do it. Unfortunately, the Cambridges do things after the fact. To catch up. P.S. to Will & Kate, there’s still time to edit things in.

Giannis Antetokounmpo & his girlfriend remind me of the Sussexes with their work in doing good things. They’ve held diaper donation drives(the Sussexes & others did do it before) and this weekend, the Bucks are doing clothing drives for Afghans at the Fiserv Forum before the games.

Would it really have been that hard for Will & Kate to make it about donating to charities before Christmas-to make Christmas better for more-than to make it about themselves? I guess so since we don’t have photos of them accepting donations for those in need and, instead, we have photos of them with reindeer who weren’t asked for permission to be there with crowds and flashing lights.

Uncle Hooker’s & Blow is probably pi$$ed he wasn’t invited after whooring himself and saying the Queen should step down now for Kate. Pretty sure the Queen & Charles weren’t impressed by those interviews.

  44. Likeyoucare says:

I guess if the royals actively trying to help the poor, it will be reflecting bad on them because everyone will know and notice that they are a lot of poor people in the Britain.

So what they can do is highlight themselves instead of the charities.

Do they have charities for poor, homeless and hungry people thought?

  45. pootoyou says:

This website is so obviously paid to slander Kate (Keen??? that’s what you guys came up with lol) or actually being posted on by Megnut herself. You guys are too obvious you should hide it a little better 🙂
