Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry officially confirmed their split early last July after months of rumors. Katy has been dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. For his part, Orlando allegedly tried to shoot his shot with Sydney Sweeney at Jeff Bezos’ and Lauren Sanchez’s Venice wedding, but was unsuccessful. He’s been fairly quiet since then, although he did pose with a woman who was dressed as Katy in her Blue Origin space suit at a Halloween party.
Well, it looks like Orlando has a new girlfriend. She’s a 28-year-old Swiss model named Luisa Laemmel. They made their first public appearance together at the Super Bowl on February 8, where they were reportedly packing on the PDA. Since then, they’ve also been spotted on vacation together in Switzerland. There hasn’t been an official confirmation of their relationship yet, though, nor have they gone official on social media. After the news of Orlando and Luisa’s rumored relationship gained traction, InStyle put together one of those “getting to know” guides about Luisa. It includes her professional history and quotes from sources about their courtship.
She’s a professional model: Laemmel was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. When she was 16, the model launched her career thanks to the international modeling contest Elite Model Look. Concomitantly, Laemmel continued with her studies and eventually earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from a university in England. She then relocated to New York City in 2019 and became the face of beauty campaigns for the likes of L’Oreal, YSL Beauty, and Maybelline. She has also appeared in editorial shoots for magazines like L’Officiel and Cosmopolitan.
She was first linked to Orlando Bloom in February 2026: Bloom and Laemmel initially sparked romance rumors in February 2026 when the duo made a joint appearance at the Super Bowl. Sources described the PDA-filled outing as “touchy-feely” and “cute.” Page Six also obtained photos of the couple leaving Levi’s Stadium arm-in-arm, with Bloom hiding beneath a black baseball cap and Laemmel rocking wide leg pants, a cropped white T-shirt, and a brown zip-up jacket.
The duo vacationed together in Switzerland in March 2026: Following their Super Bowl outing, it wasn’t long before Bloom and Laemmel stepped out again—this time, in her native Switzerland. According to Page Six, the couple stayed in a luxury suite at The Dolder Grand hotel before moving to the Bürgenstock resort on Lake Lucerne. Bloom’s teacup poodle Biggie Smalls was reportedly also in attendance.
They are reportedly “a proper little family unit” Things continued to heat up between Bloom and Laemmel on the heels of their Swiss vacation. Indeed, according to a source who spoke to Page Six, there is a “real spark” between the duo despite the fact that they “don’t get to see each other all the time.”
“They’ve become a proper little family unit,” the insider added.
That last quote about them being a family unit makes it sound like it’s Orlando, Luisa and Biggie Smalls the poodle makes three. Orlando has two children, Flynn, 14, (with Miranda Kerr) and Daisy, five, (with Katy Perry). Are they a part of this family unit, too? The “family unit” wording to make a new relationship sound serious is one of my gossip pet peeves. On that note, the part about them not seeing each other very often makes me wonder if it’s not really that serious right now.
I looked through the pictures on Luisa’s Instagram account. I’ve never gotten the impression that Orlando has a specific “type” in the looks department, but she certainly is gorgeous. From straight on, she reminds me of Olivia Holt, but from certain angles, she also looks a lot like a younger Amanda Seyfried. Oh, and to address the age difference elephant in the room, Orlando turned 49 in January, so it’s 20ish years. We’ve seen this story so many times before at this point, that I don’t even have the energy to side eye it. I’ll just defer to the whole two consenting adults, et al. opinion.

A 20 year age difference is pretty big. This really does seem to be a pattern huh? Who else has it happened with fairly recently? Jon Hamm married someone much younger and had a child, after saying he didn’t want them for years. John Mulaney? Though I don’t think he’s that much older than Olivia Munn. The list goes on.
